tears are golden 何建明 28671Words 2018-03-14
In October 1996, Zhengzhou University ushered in a special freshman named Sun Tianshuai. Sun Tianshuai is indeed unusual, because he has jumped directly from an ordinary "wage earner" to a college student in a prestigious university, and what made him realize this leap was an incident that happened during a part-time job more than a year ago. That day, Jin Zhenxian, the foreign female boss of Zhuhai Ruijin Electronics Co., Ltd., the unit where Sun Tianshuai worked, suddenly asked all the Chinese employees in the factory who were working hard on the production line to stand in line and asked every Chinese person to raise their hands in a gesture of surrender. , and then knelt down on the spot.Jin Zhenxian did this because in the past two years, the female boss has often asked the employees to work overtime, and even the Spring Festival holiday was not allowed. On the morning of March 7, 1995, a female worker who worked overtime for several days was overworked and fell asleep on the workbench during her break. In order to punish this "violating" female worker, the foreign female boss has a "collective education" that requires all employees to kneel, and claims that if one person refuses to obey, the rest will be punished to "kneel to work forever."Forced to helplessness, many workers knelt down with tears in their hesitation... Sun Tianshuai was one of the humiliated Chinese employees, but when the workers knelt down one after another, he stood there motionless like a green pine.

"Kneel down!" the female boss growled at him. "Excuse me, why should I kneel down?" Sun Tianshuai suppressed the anger in his heart and asked. "If you don't kneel, get out!" "I can leave, but as a Chinese, I want to sue you for what you have done on our Chinese soil!" Sun Tianshuai held his head high, left his monthly job of 1,300 yuan, and strode away from the female boss. passed, and left that place of shame forever. "I am Chinese, and I will never kneel in front of foreign bosses!" Sun Tianshuai, the "Chinese who does not kneel", has since become a hero extolled by thousands of migrant workers and praised by hundreds of millions of Chinese compatriots. On July 16, 1996, after CCTV "Oriental Time and Space" broadcast relevant reports again, Sun Tianshuai became a hot topic again for a while.

There is a saying: A man has gold under his knees. In China's thousands of years of traditional culture, kneeling is a kind of rational and moral degeneration in the face of personality and national dignity; in the face of true love and family affection, kneeling is the most important reward and the highest respect for filial piety; however There is another kind of kneeling in life that is also very noble and precious, that is kneeling for long-term struggle or temporary survival. In the eyes of us Chinese, the word "kneeling" contains too much content and connotation. In the eyes of college students, the word "kneeling" is a kind of dignity of personality and equivalence of knowledge, so it is more particular. In the new historical period, college students who have always been "the proud sons of heaven", many of them have to lower their proud heads and engage in things they should not have done in order to survive and live.In front of such a word "kneeling", some people correct their mentality and face the reality bravely, thus getting rid of the original difficulties and ensuring their studies. Such "kneeling" is also noble and valuable; If you can't straighten your mind, you will either shrink back before the word "kneeling" or surrender to the word "kneeling".

"Kneeling" is undoubtedly a painful process for thousands of college students living in poverty. It is a kind of bitter helplessness and a high price. Gold forged alone in the kiln of the soul! Some people may not experience the process of "kneeling" once in their life, but for those college students who earn a living for their basic survival, they experience the tempering and torture of "kneeling" almost every time... A college student told me that he was first arranged by the school’s Work-Study Guidance Center to work as a water and electricity collector for the school’s family building. This is not a complicated job. There are always a few families in those three buildings who say nasty things and do things that make things difficult for you every time he goes to charge. He said that once when a household was charged, the owner refused to pay the electricity bill in full because he suspected that the meter was not accurate. The classmate said that the ban on the electric meter has nothing to do with my charging according to the regulations, and I only care about my duties. The host threw a big ticket of 100 yuan on the classmate's face angrily, saying that you will accept it!Are you so poor and crazy that you want to get your tuition out of other people's utility bills! This classmate said that he was really angry and cried at that time, and he threw away the fee book and never worked in the school again.Later, he went to work in the society, but the experience of working made him suffer more humiliation and pain.He said that after a long time he understood, because any kind of low-level labor that serves others will inevitably encounter unpleasant things of one kind or another. Perhaps it is this special ordeal that makes college students The work-study program is even more valuable.

There is some truth to what this student said.In the work of helping college students get rid of the difficulties in life, in recent years, schools and Communist Youth League organizations at all levels have created a large number of work-study opportunities for poor students through their respective possibilities. However, the school is not a labor market after all. Even if the teachers make use of many places where there is no need to set up posts, and let the students do some symbolic work-study programs, it will not be able to satisfy the large number of poor students in the school. Those who can work on campus are as enviable to poor students as those "planned graduates" who can get a job without worrying about it. And these people, whether they are "blue collar workers" or "white collar workers", In fact, it only accounts for about one-tenth of the total number of impoverished students in colleges. The vast majority of impoverished students want to survive and strive for self-reliance, to a large extent, they have to go out of school to work in the society.

"The outside world is really wonderful, and the outside world is really dark and cruel." Almost every college student who works in the society has such a profound experience. Indeed, the first thing college students have to face when they work part-time is how to accept being devalued as an intellectual. It is not particularly good luck. Almost no boss treats the college students who come to work as knowledgeable people and hires them reasonably. Cheap labor to hire you.Don't you just want to get a meal money? Then you can honestly put down your college student airs. I can provide you with an errand in exchange for a share of money. If you want to do it, you can stay. You want to get a job equivalent to your status and knowledge. I’m sorry, please find another high school At once. That's what some educated bosses say to you.If you meet a rich man with no culture, then I'm afraid it will be a different tone: Niang, what kind of bastard do you think you are?In this city of ours, there is a queue for those with a master’s degree or a doctor’s degree who want to get their hands on the disk. If a “stupid (undergraduate) student” like you just rubs my feet and pees, I’d better look in the mirror first to see if I’m worthy!

Are you angry? Then take it on your own.You proudly waved your hands and got up to go back to school, but this city does not distribute relief food to the "poor people", and even if it did, it would not be your turn, the noble "Heavenly Proud Son".You are helpless, so you have to "face the reality" and lower the value of a college student to work as a laborer who doesn't need education at all, as long as you can work hard. This phenomenon is more prominent in today's Chinese society.A large number of laid-off workers, a large number of state agencies downsizing cadres, coupled with a large number of business depression, and the surplus of labor in the whole society, have made human resources almost lose the most basic advantage in job selection. University workers are facing the same challenges without exception. .

Before the summer vacation in July 1998, I walked into the work-study offices of several universities in the capital. Several teachers in charge of this work sighed and shook their heads when faced with the problem of part-time jobs for students staying in schools during the holidays, which was several times the number in previous years. In a school with 5,000 to 6,000 students, there are 1,000 to 2,000 students who don’t go home during the holidays. Are you in charge or not?No matter, you have to arrange jobs for them, but now there are dozens of times more laid-off people in society than students who want to work! You don't care, they won't pay the school fees when the school starts in September, the bad luck is still the school.Alas, I really don't know what to do... Through these heavy sighs, it is not difficult for us to feel the severity of reality.

Let's go, let's find a job for ourselves! The students said so.In fact, they have already made preparations, because the long summer vacation is the best time to work and earn money. They don’t have to go home unless they have to. This can save a lot of travel expenses, and more importantly, the tuition and living expenses for the new school year will all depend on this The result of part-time work during the holidays. In China Agricultural University, I conducted a "Survey on Summer Vacation Work Practice of College Students". Among the 30 students surveyed, 28 clearly stated that the purpose of staying in Beijing for the holiday is to earn tuition and fees for the next school year. living expenses.

What are you going to do on vacation? It is best to be a business of a certain company, and secondly expect a regular tutor. How much money are you going to make on vacation? The more the better, but at least it must be around 2,000 yuan.Because the tuition and living expenses for the next school year are indispensable. What if you can't find a good job? Then it can only be done according to the situation. In the end, anyone who has money to earn will have to fight for any job. ——The above is a conversation between me and a student staying in school during the holidays. At the beginning of July, just after the school's promotion exam was over, he joined the "wage workers" pouring out of the university. A few days later, he called and told me——

Fortunately, an economic tabloid hired me as a special editor. What treatment? piecework wage system.A monthly target of 20,000 yuan will be given a 30% commission, isn't it low?If I can organize one or two paid forums, the tuition fee for the new school year will be covered! After answering the phone, I sincerely hoped that this classmate would succeed, but I had to secretly think that the job he was doing was actually a trick for others to squeeze him out. There are thousands of large and small newspapers and magazines in the capital, and it is not a new thing for them to play this kind of tricks. To put it bluntly, I hired you as a "special contributor", to put it bluntly, I hired you as an amateur advertising errand runner to pull money.I have worked in newspapers and magazines for ten or twenty years, and I have seen this kind of thing a lot. I wanted to remind this classmate, but I couldn't bear to shatter his "dream of getting rich". Sure enough, approaching mid-August, just when the writing of this book was entering the late stage, suddenly one day that classmate called again, and his voice made me very worried—— Teacher, I fell for them... Don't worry, tell me what's going on first? He, they made me travel for a whole month without giving me a penny, but I spent more than 200 yuan in transportation expenses.Do you think they are black or not? Is it because you didn't get a manuscript, or didn't get a sponsor? pulled.I pulled up two whole layouts! Then why doesn't the newspaper pay you? The newspaper said that my two pages should be pulled back to 40,000 yuan, but only 30,000 yuan was in place. The reason is that one of the companies' economy is not doing well. I don't want to give the latter 10,000 yuan. They are bosses, but they either ignore me or avoid me.I knew I couldn't get back the 10,000 yuan, and the 30,000 yuan I worked so hard to get was worthless, so I went to stop the car of the company boss every day, but he just didn't give me the money.Teacher, what do you think I can do?I waited in that company for a whole day, and they didn’t give me a seat, and they didn’t even give me a drink... I couldn’t help it. Finally, I grabbed the manager, knelt down in front of him, and begged him to pay the money he owed. Newspaper... You, are you really kneeling? real.I really have no choice. If he insists on it, won't he ruin my whole month of hard work? Then I will be miserable going to school next school year. Oh, you!Did he agree to pay later? Teacher, listen to me first. When that guy saw me kneeling in front of him, he had no choice but to say yes at that time. Seeing that a college student of yours knelt down for me, he asked me to take a day to collect the check. When I heard this at the time, I kowtowed to him three times as if I saw a lifesaver.Teacher, don't you believe it?I really gave him a knock!I thought at the time, what a few kowtows, it would be a big deal if I didn’t get the thousands of yuan in labor remuneration, so what would I get to pay the tuition when the next semester starts? What do you live on?A day later, I arrived at the door of this company early, but after waiting for a long time, the company didn't open the door. After asking, I found out that the company had moved out the day before. At this time, I realized that I had been fooled, but, but I never thought why these bastards are so bad... Take it easy. There is a way to deal with him: go to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to check their old background. I went, and people said that the boss is from Haikou, where are you chasing him?Teacher, tell me, I, am I not a dumb man who eats coptis! no.But in front of this kind of person who doesn't even have basic morals, you shouldn't kneel down to him. What can I do?If he wanted to give me money, he would just let me kneel for a day. ... Regarding this classmate, every time I think of him, I feel an indescribable feeling in my heart. But later he called me again, saying that the newspaper that hired him was so pitiful and gave him 1,000 yuan as remuneration. He said that there is still a period of time before leaving school, and he is trying to find a tutor, so that it is possible to cover the basic expenses for the next school year. May God open his eyes. As I write this, I can't help but think of my classmate Xiao Fu from a certain medical university.A youth magazine once published a short article about him being a "foot-washing worker", which was very interesting. So one Sunday, I asked him to come to the office to talk about his work experience. "That's the most despicable job, don't give me 'fame'!" Xiao Fu's first sentence when we met was to ask me to promise not to reveal his real name. It's easy, I agreed. "Actually, we college students go out to work to make money. What we do is essentially the same thing. Whether we can make money is the key. I work as a foot cleaner because it can make more money than tutoring or delivering small advertisements. On the other hand, I am a medical student, so it is more suitable to be a foot cleaner than others." Xiao Fu is actually very talkative. "I heard that there are also foot washing shops in Beijing, have you been there?" "No, absolutely not." "Why? You can work as a foot cleaner when you return to Zhengzhou on vacation, but why don't you do it in Beijing?" "There are still some differences. After all, I go to school here, so it's not good for my classmates to know." Xiao Fu smiled, it seems that he still has some concerns, "Besides, I use two vacations a year to dry feet in Zhengzhou The money I earn is enough for my annual tuition and living expenses, so I don’t need to be busy anymore.” "Is that enough?" "The difference is not much worse. To tell you the truth, I earned about 2,000 yuan in one winter vacation this year." "I heard that there are 'hair washing rooms' and 'foot washing rooms' in some places. In fact, many of them are pornographic places, don't you know?" "There are indeed. But I'm a boy, so I'm not too afraid." Xiao Fu began to introduce to me his strange and intriguing experience as a "Mr. Washing Feet": ... My family is not actually in Zhengzhou, it is more than 200 miles away from Zhengzhou. The situation of my family has not been good in the past few years, either because the harvest in the field is not good, or because my parents are injured and my mother is always suffering from illness. In this situation, it is conceivable that I can only rely on myself to go to university in Beijing. The first semester of my freshman year was the hardest, and I had less than 200 yuan left in my pocket after paying the tuition fees. I was rescued by a few kind-hearted fellow villagers in Henan to get through those six months.Back in the first winter vacation, I got off from Zhengzhou Railway Station, walked out of the station and took a look, oh my god, when did Zhengzhou suddenly become a "foot-washing city"?You haven't been to Zhengzhou in recent years, have you? That has changed a lot, and the most popular ones are all kinds of "foot-washing rooms" and "foot-washing cities" popping up everywhere.Someone joked: People in Guangzhou love to wash their hair, and people in Zhengzhou love to wash their feet. One south and one north, one head and one foot. It is really a scenic line. It is said that there are hundreds of "foot-washing cities" in the city. The "Asian Commercial War" that year has now become a "Footwashing War".To be honest, I don't understand what's going on, and I don't want to understand it. What I care about is how I can earn money to maintain my studies.I have a relative in Zhengzhou who missed the long-distance bus back to his hometown after getting off the train, so he stayed at his relative's house that night. It was that night that made me embark on the road of "foot washing".When I was having dinner at a relative’s house that day, the news that a company used a “foot-washing room” to engage in underground pornography was being confiscated by the police was showing on TV. Seeing this, my uncle’s relative said that some people in society are simply outrageous , He will always make it up for you in a different way, making you hard to guard against. No, what kind of "foot-washing trend" is emerging now, it's still the same old way to put it bluntly, engaging in pornography! The uncle's son didn't like to hear it. He said that it can't be generalized. Washing feet is good for the body, so it attracts so many customers. This is also a product of the market economy! The uncle was not happy when he heard his son say this, saying that your kid said so many benefits of washing feet, why don't you usually wash your stinky feet at home? The son said that the washing at home is different from the washing outside.I got angry when I heard it: Don't do this to me, you bastard! If you dare to go to those ghostly places to wash your dog's feet, I will break your dog's legs!I almost couldn't bear my breath while listening to it, and hurriedly said to my uncle: There is nothing wrong with washing your feet, but you don't have to go to the "city" outside to wash. In fact, according to the theory of Chinese medicine, it is enough to wash your feet. Bottom massage is backed by science. No, my cousin is a medical student, so his words are authoritative. My cousin seemed to have found a theoretical basis and yelled at me.Uncle, why did you listen to this, what theory is not theoretical, the "foot washing" they do outside is different from the foot washing at home?I watched the father and son arguing endlessly, so I brought my uncle a basin of hot water and asked him to wash his feet to calm down.In order to express my gratitude to his family, I massaged and kneaded my uncle a few times with a little hospitality. "Don't stop, pinch again!" The uncle looked at me in surprise, and suddenly applauded: "Hey, you really have two strokes, it's quite comfortable to rub and pinch a few times like this! Tell me, isn't it a big school?" Did you learn it?" He opened his mouth, widened his eyes, and asked.I laughed and said, how can I learn such a simple job in college? Then why do you pinch my foot socket so comfortably? It seems that my uncle insisted on asking about it today, so I had no choice but to tell him that this is foot massage. There are 74 acupuncture points on human feet and calves. Foot points are not only the gathering points of nerves, but also a collection of various nerve endings in the human body. .Because the reflex areas of both feet are directly connected with the nerves of the whole body, frequent massage can relieve fatigue, and it is more beneficial to the elderly, such as urinary diseases, endocrine disorders, etc., can be relieved and cured through foot massage. When the uncle heard this, he said that you should not run home during the winter vacation today, stay in Zhengzhou and give me the press twice a day, and my uncle will pay you.I laughed, and said that uncle only needs your old words, and I am afraid that I will not be blessed if I want to serve you.The cousin on the side has something to say this time, said Dad, did you reply this time? The popular "foot washing" in the city is the foot massage you just enjoyed. The uncle asked me suspiciously if I was, so I had to say that it was almost the same.Don't want me to say this, the old man came to his senses: nephew, I know your family is poor, and it is not easy for you to go to university in the capital. But you are a medical student. As the saying goes, you are only afraid of dying from illness, not getting rich from medical treatment.I think with your skills, any "foot-washing city" in Zhengzhou City will have to open their doors to invite you.My cousin got even more emotional, and said, cousin, you just need to say a word, and I will find you a job tomorrow. You are a college student studying medicine, and you must earn two to three thousand yuan a month. Can you earn so much?It sounded like a fantasy to me.But the next day my cousin talked with him, and the boss of "Foot Washing City" agreed, and said that he would pay 100 yuan for a full shift, and the tip could be his own.Where can I find such a good thing? So I agreed to stay.In the afternoon of that day, I went to report to the "Foot Washing City" led by my cousin. Before leaving, my cousin also specially ordered me to bring my student ID card. When I reported for work, I saw that the owner of the "Foot Washing City" was very enthusiastic about me, saying that his shop lacked "expert" masseurs with a high degree of education like me.This cousin, he doesn't know what to say to me.When my cousin saw me staring at him, he immediately winked.I thought to myself that foot massage is not a difficult job anyway. After applying for a job, if I can earn thousands or eight hundred a month, then I don’t have to worry about it for the next school year.I was thinking about my own calculations. go to work.Only then did I realize that I was assigned to the "female guest department". I had never seen so many dainty women dangling in front of my eyes in bathrobes and towels! To be honest, when I walked into the boss’s office and said that I’d better go to the “men’s department”, I didn’t express my true “living thoughts” in my heart—I was really afraid of whether I had the ability to resist in this special environment. Stay away from "seduction".The boss didn't agree with my change of guard at all, and said that you were hired because there was a shortage of "expert" massage therapists in the "female guest department". "Young man, don't be afraid, they are not man-eating tigresses." The boss winked at me.But I still feel that most of the women who come to "Xianjiao City" are "Tigresses", and those virtuous women from good families definitely don't come to this kind of place.what to do?Since she's here, let's settle down, whether she's a tiger or a sheep, as long as she pays a lot of money.I made up my mind to take a winter vacation, anyway, it was a part-time job. The procedure of "Foot Washing City" is not complicated. After the guest comes in, you lead her (him) to the sofa. "Let's go to battle: the first one is to bring people a pot of medicine infused with traditional Chinese medicine. This medicine is usually prepared with safflower, snake skin, clove and other herbs. Although it has no special effect, it can at least prevent and eliminate beriberi. A class of health effects.Customers have to soak in this potion for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, I will start to introduce some common sense of foot massage to the guests. At this time, the general guests will ask you this or that question, and you must answer to the satisfaction of the other party, because this "spiritual trust" in foot health care , can play a multiplier role. The customer believes in the "scientific nature" of foot massage. Next, you can let her feel the "benefits" of foot health care you mentioned in terms of massage technology. This means that you have attracted a long-term customer. If it is an old customer, this item will be exempted, but you often have to spend more time listening to her (him) tell you about her (his) own problems about feet or something, of course you try to avoid That kind of endless homely chatting, but sometimes it can't be avoided, because this kind of emotional chatting is also an important aspect of strengthening the customer base. The bosses especially ask us to pay attention to doing a good job in this area, but it may cause trouble for us who work. One day a 50-year-old female guest came, and as soon as she entered the door, she lay on the sofa and began to chatter about how the poor families in her neighborhood went to the vegetable market to pick up the cheapest vegetables every day, and how and what As long as she is at home, he will find ways to get benefits from her.Because of this, she came to "Foot Washing City" to avoid others as much as possible.I was also from a poor family, and when I heard this, I hated these people from the bottom of my heart, so I just kept working and ignored her at all.Hey, suddenly this lady put a foot under my nose unreasonably, and asked me strangely whether her feet smell good or smelly, I suppressed my anger and didn't answer. She touched the tip of my nose again with her foot, and asked in a sharper voice whether it was fragrant or stinky.I'm angry and say it stinks.I don't think that just as I said it, the witch kicked me... and then she started swearing. At that time, I never thought that this girl would be so powerful, and I stayed on the sidelines at a loss.Later the boss came, and the woman even more brazenly told the boss that you are not "opening" today, and this kid will let your "foot-washing city" close tomorrow.Another thing I didn't expect was that the boss said a lot of "yes" in front of this woman.I found out later that that woman was the "wife of the director" of the Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau in that urban area. No wonder the boss was so afraid of her.No need to ask, I was kicked out the first time I was a "foot cleaner". My cousin is very capable, and within two days he found me a job in another "Foot Washing City".This time I also grew my mind. When I met the kind of guests above, I just chatted with them intentionally or unintentionally. Anyway, it didn't affect the money-making errand at hand.Being a masseuse in the "Foot Washing City" is actually not an easy job, and it takes more than ten hours to get in.In order to earn more money and spend less, the boss uses as little manpower as possible, so I often deal with another before I finish one job.The female guests have more affairs than the male guests, and the women who enter the footwashing room are either powerful, rich or temperamental, and if they are a little neglected, they will cause some troubles.Since the bosses were willing to reveal my identity as a well-known medical student in the capital, there were fewer and fewer people who intentionally bullied me, but it was another type of guests that put you in a dilemma again.Among the female guests, there are many rich "ladies", and sometimes they will make you difficult to deal with. For example, there is a female guest who is the general manager of a certain company, a divorced single woman. She goes to the "Foot Washing City" almost every day to enjoy it. I received it a few times, and the service was probably not in place, so she gave me a tip of 200 yuan. After that, every time she came, she had to ask me to serve her specially, which was normal. But then something new happened: one day she called me suddenly, saying that she couldn't come to "Foot Washing City" because of her busy work at work, and asked if I could come to her home to serve.I said the boss has a rule, so I can't go.She said that she could have come, but because of a sprained ankle, she was unable to move around, and she hoped that I would go for a massage, and she would go out to discuss business the day after tomorrow.Since this is the case, I thought it would be hard to accumulate virtue for saving people, so I agreed.I didn't go by myself, she sent a car to pick me up.After all, a rich man is not ordinary. Her small villa is big enough to live in our class, and the furnishings inside are something I have only seen in movies and TV shows. The hostess' foot was indeed sprained and swollen, but not too serious.I naturally took out my housekeeping skills to massage her, and the hostess reclined on the sofa, looking extremely comfortable. When I was massaging her, she kept her eyes closed almost all the time, and just told me "a little left" and "a little right".She said again: "...a little higher. Yes, a little higher." I did as I did. "Okay, it's very comfortable, Xiaofu, go up a little more..." She was still giving orders, and kept making that kind of "humming" sound that I had never heard before. My hands stopped and trembled violently involuntarily.I knew I couldn't stay any longer, so I straightened up.Now I can say without any concealment that I was indeed a little bit involuntary at the time, but reason finally prevailed, so I said very resolutely to the hostess: "I'm sorry, I, I have to go!" At this time, I saw A scene that is still somewhat scary when I think about it: the hostess was uncharacteristically gentle, like an angry lioness, she picked up the pillow on the sofa and threw it at me, and then the coffee cup on the small table also threw it at me. I flew here..."You little donkey, get out! Get out—!" The scene after that was my embarrassment, and now I can't remember how I ran out of her villa and how I got back to my part-time job That "Foot Washing City", in short, I had nightmares for several nights... "What happened next?" This time I asked the "Foot Washer" Xiaofu on the opposite side.It can be seen that the college student who had the special experience of "Foot Washing City" is still wandering in his haunted nightmare. After a long time, he returned to normal, showing me the immaturity of that student, "Later... I still worked in 'Foot Washing City', honestly." He smiled at me with a reddish face, and explained, "Actually, it's normal to be a 'foot cleaner', especially in the 'female guest department'. But with the one above, I only dare to squat or kneel for the guests every time I work Work hard, but dare not look up more..." interesting. This is a special "wage earner" who is willing to kneel down. "I gained a lot of knowledge in the 'Foot Washing City' during that holiday, but the most important thing is that I earned enough money for me to go to school in the next school year." Xiao Fu's heart was full of sunshine. He whispered to me, "Now there are still some of my regular customers in Zhengzhou. They (they) often talk to me on the phone and hope that I will serve them (them) again when I go back during the holidays. Of course I will not give up on these people easily, because That is my 'financial source'. I even thought that if it is difficult to allocate after graduation, I might as well open a 'Foot Washing City'. There are too many foot diseases in China, and foot massage can really protect people's health." What a brilliant "kneeling", I am sincerely gratified for Xiaofu. Cheng Peng, a student at Wuhan University of Metallurgical Science and Technology, experienced the bitterness and hardships of a "wandering worker" within a few days of leaving school. For this reason, he wrote a "Modern Wandering Notes"—— I have always believed that there is nothing impossible to do in the world as long as one has a strong will. So, the summer vacation is here, and I start planning: Location - Beijing. When the economy is developed and the city is prosperous, it is impossible to practice bird hunting and fishing on an isolated island like Robinson Robinson. The so-called survival ability in modern times refers to the ability to survive in a society between people. The thousand-year-old city of the capital has long been longing for, and the distance between Beijing and Wuhan is suitable, which is an ideal place. Time - July 15, 1996 - Of course, I really wanted to write "summer vacation is over", but hesitated for a while, leaving a way for myself, and recorded it as "the day I can persist". Preparation - a pack of change of clothes, 100 RMB.Since it is a test of survivability, 100 yuan is suspected of cheating. But when you first go to a strange city, you have no relatives, no friends, and no money. It must be difficult to get a job right away. July 30, 1996 At 6:00 pm yesterday, I took the 38th air-conditioned express to leave Wuchang and go north to Beijing.A bag, 100 yuan, a trace of confusion, a trace of excitement, my strong man embarked on the road of wandering without looking back. After 20 hours of running, the train arrived at Beijing West Railway Station at two o'clock in the afternoon.Walking out of the West Railway Station, the sun was shining and the crowds were bustling, and I felt weak all over.A young girl approached me and persuaded me to take a rest at the "Xishuangbanna" hotel. "Clean bed, hot shower, big color TV, only 15 yuan per night, you are satisfied. You can watch it first, come back if you don't want to stay, we will give you a free ride..." Unable to withstand the girl's attention, It's not a bad idea to have a look, I got on the minibus to solicit customers. The girl gave me a card with her name on it and asked me to give it to the innkeeper. It turned out that her salary was based on the amount of soliciting customers, one card per person, and the boss calculated salary according to the card. The CMB makes 70% off, and the so-called "Xishuangbanna" is not a tropical jungle, but an underground forest, which is humid and cold - the basement is also! The twists and turns, bottomless, are the reconstruction of air-raid shelters, and the scope and depth of military conversion to civilians can be seen from this.I was secretly shocked, how can I live here! But I heard the noise in the hall. It turned out that some people didn't want to stay in the hotel and wanted to go back by car.The boss doesn't force him to stay, but he charges 20 yuan for the round trip. The old man hurriedly said that he had agreed with the station broker for a free ride, and even if there was a fee, the journey was only a few minutes away, so there was no reason why it was so expensive. The boss sneered, stop talking nonsense, either stay in the hotel or pay.A few big men were gearing up, adding to the deterrence.Helpless, the man swallowed his anger and asked to stay in the hotel. In this way, those of us who want to leave will also stay obediently, and local snakes can't afford it.But it has risen to 25 yuan per person, and no one dares to express objection.Of course, the broker's promise did not come true. There are hot baths, but it is hard to wait until there is an empty seat, and there is a risk of suddenly stopping the water after the whole body is covered with soap. The color TV is also placed in the hall, but it is said that it just broke down yesterday.Of course I dare not use the dirty and damp quilt, and sleep with clothes on. July 31, 1996 Looking for a job naturally requires a clean appearance.Get up early in the morning, wash up, and put on clean clothes.Buy a piece of "Beijing Evening News" and look for recruitment information while eating fried dough sticks. At a glance, they are all recruiting white-collar workers, and even managers and directors are recruiting talents. I am a "vagrant", and obviously I can only sell my labor.Forget about it for now, it's rare to go to Beijing, let's talk about it after shopping. Get off at the front door and see Tiananmen Square from a distance.Standing in the grand square, I feel like a drop in the ocean.Around the square, there are many contemporary Xiangzi wearing white sweaters and straw hats. There is a pergola on the back seat of the tricycle, and passengers can sit on it to enjoy the scenery of the square.Of course, the price is not cheap. Many foreigners have riders, and it is said that some of them have to switch places to get rid of the addiction of bicycle drivers. Not far from Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing is said to be the busiest place in the business world. There may be work to be done, so go and see first.Come on, it's just a shopping street, not as developed as imagined.Where to go?I was at a loss, when I suddenly saw the word "Recruitment" on the window of a restaurant. I touched my thinning pockets, mustered up the courage, pushed the door in, and said, I applied. The boss was a middle-aged woman with heavy makeup, and asked me what I would do, cooking?I answered no, thinking that scrambled eggs would be good at it.Well, we need a solicitor, have you ever done it?I said no.It doesn't matter, as long as you can handle foreigners.I know I'm incapable of pulling foreigners to be slaughtered—it's not that I feel sorry for foreigners' wallets, but that I don't have the ability.I secretly regret my sloppy English learning. Can't stand it! May 19.
