Chapter 52 May Day Smile Never Gives Up on Suffering——Record of Ren Feili, the Second National Moral Model

People will never forget that on the eve of the International Children's Day in 2006, the People's Premier Wen Jiabao wrote to the children of the China Deaf Children's Rehabilitation Research Center: "... I hope that more children will be able to receive their education through careful treatment and education. Rehabilitation, entering ordinary primary schools; I hope that those children who still have hearing and speech impairments can overcome difficulties with strong perseverance, hear voices, and speak; I hope that all disabled children can receive the care of the whole society, so that they Having a lively childhood enhances their confidence and courage in life."

People will never forget that on September 2, 2009, Wen Jiabao once again came to Xinjian Primary School in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, and said earnestly to the teachers of this school: "We must take good care of the children, especially those orphaned and disabled children." Children are the hope of the motherland and the future of the motherland! Disabled children are also the hope of the motherland and the future of the motherland! In January 1985, childhood sweetheart Ren Feili and L walked into a happy marriage together.Ren Feili's mother, Zhang Yu, and L's mother are colleagues, and both are teachers at Dazhong Primary School in Chengguan Town, Qiyang County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province.Ren Feili's father, Ren Pide, and L's father both work in Qiyang County government agencies.Parents, relatives and friends of both parties are quite satisfied with this marriage and are full of expectations and longings.Later, they worked together at Hunan Xiangtan Radio and Television University.

In 1987, L was admitted to graduate school. In September 1988, Ren Feili gave birth to a pair of twin daughters, Da Mao and Xiao Mao, prematurely. However, as the children get older, their developmental issues begin to come to the fore. The children are almost one year old, and when it is time to sit, stand, walk, and talk, they still don't know how to do it. Ren Feili began to worry about her daughter. In 1990, she carried her child to Xiangtan People's Hospital, Xiangtan Women's and Children's Hospital and other hospitals. When the examination failed, she took the child to Changsha, and went to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiangya, the Provincial Children's Hospital, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiangya for examinations. However, the diagnosis conclusions of the three hospitals were the same: spastic cerebral palsy. At this time, Da Mao and Xiao Mao are one year and seven months old.

Soon, Ren Feili and the others thought that when the child was born prematurely in Xiangtan and was under the care of the incubator, the incubator was powered off, and they went back to investigate, but the child's medical record was gone, and the doctor in charge at that time had also left the country, so there was no way to investigate. rise. The word "cerebral palsy" is like a bolt from the blue to Ren Feili's family. This ruthless fact weighed on her and L's hearts like a heavy boulder, causing them to suddenly fall into the abyss of pain. From then on, the two frantically searched for the cause of the disease, took the child around to seek medical treatment, and began a long and endless journey to seek medical treatment.

But another fact is that from the time the child was diagnosed, especially after several times of ineffective treatment, Ren Feili's life and destiny were gradually and completely changed because of the child's illness. It was also at this time that L slowly showed impatience. After returning to Xiangtan, Ren Feili had to find a massage doctor for treatment while working. When colleagues knew that her child was sick, they were very concerned and extended a helping hand. However, some friends and colleagues advised her to send her child to the countryside or to an orphanage so that she could have another child while she was young. But Ren Feili was not tempted. It is precisely this belief that she began to walk step by step in the arduous and bitter journey of seeking medical treatment.

On April 12, 1991, after her parents, relatives, friends, and colleagues pooled more than 6,000 yuan for Ren Feili, she took her two daughters and boarded the train bound for Beijing. The one who went to Beijing with her was one of her cousins who took care of the children with her, except that L was responsible for returning immediately after delivery.Beijing is no stranger to Ren Feili. She had studied at Tsinghua University as early as 1986. After the train arrived at Beijing Railway Station, according to the address stated in the advertisement, the five of them first took the subway from Beijing Railway Station to Fuxingmen, then changed to subway line 1 from Fuxingmen, and sat until the last stop——Pingguoyuan Station, and then take bus No. 311 to Shaojiapo. This is the westernmost part of Beijing. This hospital is actually a qigong research institute, which is said to have special curative effects on the treatment of cerebral palsy.

But more than ten days later, apart from worrying about the pain of her two daughters during the treatment, Ren Feili also gradually discovered that this so-called omnipotent Qigong Institute is not as amazing as they touted in the advertisements. It has special curative effect in the treatment of cerebral palsy. She even found that, apart from increasing the pain, the child has not progressed in anything else. Although Ren Feili began to be highly suspicious of this research institute, but after all, she was unfamiliar with the place, so she only kept these thoughts in her heart, and quietly made other calculations by herself. From then on, as long as Da Mao and Xiao Mao were not cured, she would sneak out, look around, ask around, even the advertisements on the newsstand, to see where the effect of cerebral palsy was cured. At that time, it was not like now that you can find a lot of information you need through the Internet at home.As long as she hears from a patient or a family member of a patient where the treatment of cerebral palsy is effective, she will immediately go to see it. No matter how big Beijing is or how far the road is, she only has one idea, as long as it is helpful for the treatment, she will go to see it. To go, she went to seven or eight hospitals in a row.

"You have worked hard enough, both children have cerebral palsy." One day, a parent of a child with cerebral palsy asked Ren Feili who was worried. "Hey! Then what can I do?" Ren Feili said. "How is the child treated now?" the parent of the child with cerebral palsy asked. "I feel that my big hair is better, and the little one is more serious. She has problems in all aspects, and she doesn't know what to say." Ren Feili said. "It's a problem with intelligence. Acupuncture is the best way to treat this disease, because acupuncture is good for intelligence, and you can also eat some intelligence treasures." Parents of children with cerebral palsy said.As she spoke, she also showed Ren Feili a book on acupuncture and moxibustion.

Hearing about acupuncture, another parent interjected, "There is an old Chinese doctor in Liulichang who uses acupuncture to treat cerebral palsy very effectively, and many people go to the doctor." "Really? Is Liulichang far from here?" Ren Feili asked. "Hey, that's a long way from here." The man said. "how far?" "I don't know how far it is, but I know it's outside the Hepingmen. There is a famous cultural street, and there are many shops selling antiques, calligraphy and paintings." The man said. So, Ren Feili had to spread out the Beijing map to find Liulichang. The next afternoon, when Xiao Mao wasn't getting treatment, she carried Xiao Mao to the city to find Liulichang and the old Chinese doctor.Take bus No. 311 to Pingguoyuan Subway Station, then take Subway Line 1 to Fuxingmen and then transfer to a bus.At this time, she felt that from Fuxingmen Subway Station to the exit, the aisle was so long, and the steps were so high and so many. She was so thin that she couldn't walk. What made her even more strenuous was that Xiaomao's convulsions were so severe that her legs couldn't be separated, and they were tightly clamped together. When she was carrying her on her back, her legs could only be straight, which was extremely difficult for her to carry. So she had to carry Xiao Mao straight on her back, sweating profusely, and her legs were weak.

Ren Feili was a little surprised that the old Chinese doctor didn't charge much for acupuncture, basically it was free, and he was kind.Although she was very tired and out of breath, she was still infected by the simple medical ethics at that time. Since then, every afternoon for more than ten days, there will always be the figures of Ren Feili's mother and daughter trekking hard on this route.Every time, when she climbed the stairs step by step with Xiaomao on her back, she felt that she was almost suffocated and was about to fall down. However, she said to herself over and over again in her heart: "No, I can't fall down, I must persevere, and for the sake of my daughter's recovery, I must pick myself up again and go on step by step. I will bear no matter how hard or tired I am." It is the most persistent belief in Ren Feili's heart. This belief supports her from a romantic girl who only knew romance to a real mother, a strong mother.

At that time, Ren Feili was thin and thin. In order to save money for her child's medical treatment, she only ate one steamed bun per meal, but she carried her daughter back and forth during the treatment with such a weak body.Because as the time in Beijing increases, Ren Feili feels that life is getting more and more difficult.Due to the tightness of money, she had to break the money and spend it.The most terrible thing for southerners to go to the north is that it is difficult to get used to the food for a while. They feel that they can't afford the expensive ones, and they have nothing to eat if they are not expensive.Facing the steamed buns, they really had a headache. Not only the two adults, but also the big and small ones.In order to increase nutrition for the children, Ren Feili thought that the little white vermicelli was very good, so she boiled it, then sliced a sausage and put it in the pot. Unexpectedly, the children liked it very much. So, every meal, she gets some small vermicelli mixed with some sausages, and sometimes cooks some egg soup for her daughter, while the adults only buy some mustard, and drink some soup with no "content" left over from the children's food.At that time, in order to facilitate the addition of meals for the children, she herself bought a small kerosene stove and added some kerosene. The treatment in Shaojiapo on the other side of the Apple Orchard in Beijing probably lasted for more than a month. Ren Feili felt that there was little effect. At this time, a patient told her: "There are still several hospitals in Beijing that specialize in the treatment of cerebral palsy, and there is one in Xiyuan, Haidian District, which is the Haidian District Nerve Injury and Disabled Children's Hospital on Xinjian Gongmen Road. The therapeutic effect is good with the methods of guiding leveling, massage, acupuncture, taking Yizhikang, and Jingtan Tablets. I heard that there is a doctor named Ma Ruofei in that hospital who specializes in treating cerebral palsy.” Ren Feili came to the hospital to have a look, and found that it was really different from the hospital in Shaojiapo. This hospital used massage, acupuncture and moxibustion to treat diseases, and also took medicine. It felt less empty than the hospital in Shaojiapo. So I took my child to this hospital for treatment. At this time, Ren Feili changed her strategy, and they rented private houses instead.Because she felt that living in the hospital in Shaojiapo cost her a lot of money, and she had to learn a lesson this time.In order to facilitate sending the child to the hospital, she simply bought a bamboo cradle used by old Beijing to carry the child. That thing is cheap, but practical, twins, one on each side. When not seeing a doctor, he can also push Big Mao and Little Mao around the street. However, when Ren Feili felt that the child's treatment was effective, conflicts arose. She ran out of money and had to terminate the treatment of Da Mao and Xiao Mao in Beijing. So she said to Dr. Ma: "The next time I save up enough money to come to Beijing again, I will visit your hospital." Just when Ren Feili had no choice but to end her treatment in Beijing, she heard people say that the China Rehabilitation Research Center in Majiabao, outside Yongding Gate, Beijing, is good, and that the child does not need injections or medicines for treatment there. There are a lot of advanced rehabilitation equipment there, and many of the rehabilitation teachers have just returned from training abroad. This news was really helpful to her later.Hearing this, Ren Feili, who was already penniless, was moved again. She thought, Big Mao and Xiao Mao, especially Xiao Mao, still have problems with their intelligence. They are both three years old and don't know anything. So, when she was about to leave Beijing, she found the China Rehabilitation Research Center after many twists and turns. When Ren Feili walked into this state-owned rehabilitation center for the first time, she was stunned. The environment there is comfortable, with complete medical facilities and rehabilitation equipment. She thought, it would be great if my child could also come here for treatment. However, Ren Feili, whose monthly salary is only 100 or 200 yuan, was discouraged when she heard that treatment here cost three to four thousand yuan a month. It was already autumn when Ren Feili and her cousin brought Da Mao and Xiao Mao back to Hunan. Although they sought medical treatment everywhere, the condition of the two daughters did not improve at all. In addition, people were exhausted and financially damaged. Gradually, L began to feel pessimistic about the treatment of the children. The focus of the conflict is: L wants to send the children to the countryside or to a social welfare institution, but Ren Feili disagrees and insists on taking them for further rehabilitation. At this moment, a friend reminded her: "Xiao Ren, didn't you say that the conditions of the China Rehabilitation Research Center are good, why don't you write a letter to Deng Pufang, chairman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, and ask to go there for free rehabilitation. Treatment, maybe there will be a play." Therefore, Ren Feili decided to write a letter to Deng Pufang with a glimmer of hope. She knew that Deng Pufang was the chairman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, and he had a lot of opportunities to deal with every day, but what could be done about it, the child couldn't be abandoned, the family couldn't be broken up, it's fate. This time, fate favored Ren Feili! No, it should be Chairman Deng Pufang's care that gave her a glimmer of hope. One day at the end of January 1992, Ren Feili received a reply letter from Dr. Li Yuge from the Medical Office of the China Rehabilitation Research Center, in which she told her that the center had a free bed for 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. The use is arranged by the provincial disabled people's federation... As a result, Da Mao and Xiao Mao were able to go to Beijing Zhongkang for treatment.During the treatment, Ren Feili was also transferred from Xiangtan to Changsha to work. The three-month rehabilitation treatment time passed quickly, because it was time to consider taking Da Mao and Xiao Mao back to Qiyang, so Ren Feili went to Beijing with her mother to pick up the children. When she came to Beijing, it took a long time to go through the formalities. Ren Feili and her mother first booked a basement hotel. Every time she came to Beijing, she did the same. She lived in a rented house for a long time, and lived in a basement for a short time. Maybe before this, the doctor had already told the children that their mother would come to pick them up.Therefore, when Ren Feili saw the children, they were all extremely excited. At that time, doctors and nurses pushed them into the hall. "Uncle, my mother is coming to pick me up, and I'm going home." When Ren Feili heard Xiao Mao say this, she was very happy, thinking how could the child talk so much. She feels that Xiao Mao speaks Beijing dialect very well, which is much better than when he first came here, because before coming to Beijing, they could only call some simple "Dad—Dad—, Mom——Mom." ——" She taught them mouth to mouth before, and they didn't speak very clearly. After receiving her two daughters, Ren Feili immediately took them to the street to buy a beautiful purple dress and put them on on the same day.It is the nature of little girls to love beauty, and Da Mao and Xiao Mao are also very excited when they put on new clothes. However, when Ren Feili happily received her two daughters, she overlooked one thing, because Da Mao and Xiao Mao have been living in a comfortable and constant temperature in Zhongkang, but now the weather is hot outside, Da Mao and Xiao Mao are very I soon felt uncomfortable, and my forehead was still a little hot. When the train arrived in Henan, Da Mao and Xiao Mao's fever got worse, and they were almost convulsed. The conductor was in a hurry and asked for help on the radio... Just after the Spring Festival in 1995, many people hadn't recovered from the strong atmosphere of the Spring Festival, but Ren Feili started to pack her luggage and prepared to take Da Mao south to Guangzhou for treatment. Her heart is sore. The two heavy burdens of losing her husband L and her child were like two mountains weighing heavily on Ren Feili. What worries her the most is that since the treatment of Da Mao and Xiao Mao has little effect, L has gradually lost confidence, and then stopped Ren Feili, saying that it was "waste of effort and money", and even used The eternal and heavy shackles of "marriage" are threatening. The cold wind in early spring is still biting. She not only had to carry Da Mao with difficulty, but also carried a big bag full of clothes. It was because Da Mao's legs were cramped and his back was difficult, so he was struggling so much. When she walked into the train car, she was already dripping with sweat. Ren Feili couldn't remember how many times she took the children out to seek medical treatment. She also often encounters scenes like this.A weak woman took a disabled child out to seek medical treatment, and they gave more sympathy and help.Ren Feili is also a very grateful person. She always repays people with sweet words and a bright smile, and she can only do this for the time being. Therefore, the impression she gives people is that she is optimistic, frank, positive, and she is beautiful. However, when she took Da Mao to Guangzhou Zhongshan Hospital after several twists and turns, the doctor said after careful examination of Da Mao's physical condition: "Your child is not suitable for SPR surgery yet." "Why?" Ren Feili asked anxiously. "You see, your child's muscle strength has not yet reached the third level. This operation can only be performed at the third level." The doctor explained, "After you go home, you should carry out rehabilitation training on the child, and it will be enough to train the muscle strength." Ren Feili could only nod helplessly. When she got home, she took her two children to strengthen their rehabilitation training. In addition to massaging the children every day, she also practiced standing, squatting, and leg pressing for them.In fact, these rehabilitation projects have been started since Da Mao Xiao Mao was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and she has never given up, doing it almost every day. One day, Ren Feili, who was at work, received a call from a friend.A friend said on the phone: "There is a doctor at the China Rehabilitation Research Center in Beijing who is very good at performing SPR surgery. They performed this operation earlier than Zhongshan Hospital. The technology and other aspects are more mature than there. You might as well go there and do it, it might work better." Hearing this news, Ren Feili was overjoyed. She is no stranger to Zhongkang. The center has given her a lot of help. Three years ago, it gave Da Mao and Xiao Mao three months of rehabilitation for free. She decided to take Da Mao to Beijing for treatment first, and quickly got in touch with Beijing. Under Ren Feili's meticulous rehabilitation training, the muscle strength of Da Mao and Xiao Mao recovered quickly and was also very good. After the examination by Changsha Hospital, Da Mao's muscle strength has reached the third level, meeting all the conditions required for SPR surgery. Ren Feili plans to take Da Mao to Zhongkang in Beijing for SPR surgery, and she is full of confidence. Although L does not agree with going to Beijing, she is still determined to treat her child. On April 18, 1995, Ren Feili went to Beijing for the fourth time and Zhongkang for the second time. The difference from going to Zhongkang in 1992 is that the rehabilitation was free that time, but the treatment is paid this time. The scene of her carrying Da Mao on her back and struggling forward can be imagined. But fortunately, Beijing is no longer a stranger to her and Da Mao.This big city, the capital that people yearn for, gives their mother and daughter more love and tolerance. On the second day after arriving in Zhongkang, the doctor began to perform various examinations on Da Mao. After confirming that he met the conditions for surgery, he performed the operation on Da Mao on the fifth day. During the operation for several hours, Ren Feili was alone in the corridor Walking back and forth, she was silently praying for her beloved daughter. This is my daughter's first major surgery. When Da Mao was pushed out of the operating room, Ren Feili found that the child hadn't woken up yet. She followed the operation trolley and kept calling her daughter's name. She was worried that her daughter would not wake up due to anesthesia. It didn't take long. The daughter slowly opened her eyes. This daughter who is less than seven years old is already sensible. She found that Da Mao's big teardrops never flowed from her eyes, and said, "Mom, I didn't cry."The child has become stronger, and Ren Feili is happy from the bottom of her heart, although she feels unspeakable bitterness when she looks at the tired child. When he first came out, Da Mao's wound was still bleeding. "Doctor, what should I do with so much blood?" Ren Feili asked sadly. "Here, I'll give you a Coke bottle, and if the bag is full, put it in the bottle," said the doctor. "Ah, there will be so many more." Ren Feili was surprised. "Don't worry, it will be fine after two days, but be careful not to touch the child's wound." The doctor explained. "Da Mao, it must be very painful now that the anesthetic is over! Hold on, the wound will heal, you know?" Ren Feili said comforting Da Mao. "Yes, Mom." Da Mao replied in a low voice. Looking at Da Mao after the operation, Ren Feili felt as if a knife was piercing her heart. In order to take good care of Da Mao, she never left her. In this operation, a five-inch incision was made on Da Mao's waist, and a total of seventeen stitches were required.Because of the long wound on the waist and the bruises hanging from it, Da Mao can only sleep on his side, let alone turn over easily. If he needs to turn over to defecate, two people need to help to complete it. At this time, Da Mao is in pain. Tears can't help but flow down. Ren Feili, who was waiting by her side 24 hours a day, not only dared not leave the ward easily, but also dared not go to bed, because she was afraid of crowding her daughter. At this moment, my daughter needs care and care too much. There is a wooden box next to each bed, which is used to put clothes for patients and family members.Ren Feili was really sleepy, so she dragged the wooden box next to the bed, lined up the two boxes, and prepared to lie on it for a while. But it didn't take long for her to realize that the wooden box was too hard, and she felt pain all over while lying down, so she had to push the wooden box next to her bed back. In other families, the whole family took turns to take care of the children during surgery. Some would accompany the child to the bed, while others would deliver meals, but Ren Feili took care of the child alone. One day, two days, three days... Seven days later, the doctor told her that the child's wound was gradually healing and he could turn over, but he could not get out of bed because the stitches had not been removed.During these seven days, Ren Feili stayed by her daughter's side every step of the way, and hardly slept. At most, when she was sleepy, she sat on the box and lay down on the edge of the bed to take a nap for a while. After lying on the bed for 21 days, Da Mao's wounds gradually healed and the stitches can finally be removed. He no longer needs the 24-hour company of his family, but he still needs to do a long period of rehabilitation there.Because the unit is still waiting for Ren Feili to go back to work, Ren Feili returned to Changsha with this kind of state of mind that has been rare in recent years. After returning home, Ren Feili's concern for her daughter became even stronger. Every few days, she would call Beijing to ask the doctor about the child's recovery. In this way, Ren Feili lived with L for two and a half months in rare sweetness and concern. But what she didn't expect was that these two and a half months of sweetness were exchanged for two years or even longer of pain. July 29, 1995 was the day when Da Mao's treatment in Zhongkang was scheduled to end.On this day, Ren Feili also came to Beijing in a hurry. When mother and daughter meet each other, they feel very cordial. But when the doctor explained some things to her, she felt all kinds of uneasiness, because the doctor said that the effect of Da Mao's SPR operation was not particularly obvious, and a second adductor muscle surgery might be needed. Out of helplessness, Ren Feili had no choice but to push Da Mao with tears in her eyes, carrying four or five bags, large and small, and boarded the train back to Changsha on the 30th.However, when L found out that she used the wheelchair to push Da Mao out of the station, his face became more and more ugly, and L, who was extremely desperate, was about to erupt in silence. When she got home, Ren Feili found that something was wrong with the house, and it had changed dramatically from when she went to Beijing three days ago. They lived in a two-bedroom house with one bedroom and a study. She found that the door of the study was locked, the balcony could not be accessed, and things had been moved. Obviously he had separated the house. In fact, the lock of L not only locks the house, but also locks the window of marriage, family relationship, and human nature. A dull marriage and family relationship are destined to be boring and suffocating to death. The atmosphere is getting more and more tense! The night gradually deepened, and both Da Mao and Xiao Mao fell asleep. ... "The child's illness has been seen for so many years, and the operation has been done. You should give up. You are a person who will not die until the Yellow River. Now you will give up when you reach the Yellow River. There are two roads for you to choose. If you Live with children, I will never live with you in this life, I have been ruined by you for the first half of my life, and I will not be ruined by you for the rest of my life. Think about it, anyway, there are only two ways for you to choose. " L said loudly. At this moment, Ren Feili was heartbroken, her knees softened, and she knelt down for the first time in her life, in front of her own L, tears welled up in her eyes. She felt that her mind was blank, and her only thought was to keep the child at home. Could it be that Ren Feili has no spine? No!For the sake of two helpless lives, she knelt down to her ungrateful husband.Maybe she lost the dignity of a mother and a woman, but she embraced her two children with love. From this point of view, the child is lucky. "I beg you, take a look at the child, just come back from the operation. You throw him to the village now, she needs nourishment now, the doctor said she needs to recover well." Ren Feili While begging L to speak, tears flowed down my face. ... The night was already very deep, but Ren Feili's cries and broken heart did not disappear in the night. In the next few days, colleagues from Ren Feili's unit and colleagues and friends from L's unit shuttled around to do work for her.She felt inconceivable that in this world, I don't know what happened to people, but they all came to do her work.Of course, they were sympathizing with her. It was really hard for her to take care of two disabled children. They might as well grit their teeth, abandon the children, and live their "happy" days. After everything calmed down for a while, Ren Feili decided to temporarily send Da Mao and Xiao Mao to her hometown in Qiyang, and quietly sent them to the home of a colleague of her mother, and told L that they were sent to a family in the country, temporarily easing the conflict. The children were sent away, but Ren Feili couldn't relax in her heart. She missed her two poor daughters intensely. For many nights, thinking about the once beautiful marriage and the ups and downs of seeking medical treatment for her two daughters over the years, she silently shed tears until dawn. Although Da Mao and Xiao Mao were sent to Qiyang's hometown, Ren Feili's belief in treating her daughter's illness was still firm.Since Da Mao underwent SPR surgery in Zhongkang, Ren Feili had a knot in her heart that she also wanted to do SPR surgery for Xiao Mao.She always felt that both Da Mao and Xiao Mao were her daughters, and the palms and backs of their hands were full of flesh. One had surgery and the other didn't, which was too unfair to the children. No matter what, after the operation, there is still a great improvement. For example, Da Mao's script is inseparable. After the operation, it can be separated, and the heel can touch the ground. In addition, when Da Mao was taken to Zhongkang for surgery last time, the doctor also emphasized that Da Mao needed a second adductor surgery. In early November 1995, Ren Feili returned to her hometown to quietly send her child to Zhongkang for surgery. "Father, besides a few months' wages, I have tens of thousands of dollars borrowed from my colleagues. I still want to send Da Mao and Xiao Mao to Zhongkang for surgery. No matter what, this It will be of great help to their future life, and their situation will be worse if they are not cured." Ren Feili discussed with her parents. "Care it, son, your mother and I support your decision." Ren Feili's father said. "Now L strongly opposes treating the children. I can't take Da Mao and Xiao Mao to Beijing, not even for three or two days, or he will suspect me. I want my father and cousin to take Da Mao and them to Beijing." Ren Feili Say.The reason for this decision was that her father was a doctor, so she knew a lot of things and could make decisions on her own, while her mother was still working on the education front, so it was inconvenient to take a long vacation. "Son, it doesn't matter. Anyway, your father has retired to the second line and doesn't work very much. Let him go." Ren Feili's mother said. "Mom, I'm afraid I don't have enough money, so I want to get a few thousand dollars from you." Ren Feili really didn't want to ask her mother to borrow money anymore, but there was really no other way. "This is no problem, even if you don't say it, we will consider it." Zhang Yu said. A few days later, Ren Feili's father and her cousin took Da Mao and Xiao Mao from Lengshuitan on a train bound for Beijing from Nanning, Guangxi. It was noon when the train passed Changsha. That morning, in order to keep L from knowing about this, Ren Feili told him that I would not be coming back at noon today, and that a friend had something to do at home and needed to help. After "asking for leave", she went straight to Changsha Railway Station. The train stopped at Changsha Station for only five minutes. In addition to giving her father a little money, she hurriedly explained to her father how to get there when she arrived in Beijing, how to find Dr. Li, etc. Looking at the train gradually going away, Ren Feili burst into tears.Whether it is the missing of her daughter or the bitterness of the situation, it is enough to make this strong and stubborn woman cry. During this trip to Beijing, Xiao Mao underwent SPR surgery, and Da Mao also underwent adductor muscle surgery.Due to money problems, they only had surgery in Zhongkang, but did not recover, so they had to return to Hunan immediately. When Ren Pide and the others took Da Mao and Xiao Mao back to Hunan, they still took the same train from Beijing to Nanning, Guangxi. The train still only stopped at Changsha Railway Station for five minutes.Ren Feili still can only use five minutes in a hurry to explain some things to her father and see her beloved daughter. However, when Da Mao and Xiao Mao saw their mother, they cried like tears. "Big Mao, Xiao Mao, good boy, be good, don't cry, you go with grandpa and grandma first, mother has to work here in Changsha, if she doesn't work, mother will have no money, so listen to grandpa and grandma." Ren Feili held back said tears. As the train left, Ren Feili's tears flowed wantonly on her face. During the Spring Festival of 1996, with the help of her mother, Ren Feili tried her best to get her mother-in-law’s consent and confidentiality to send Da Mao and Xiao Mao to the school taught by her mother and mother-in-law to attend preschool; in September 1996, Da Mao and Xiao Mao began to go to Dazhong Primary School. At school, these two children who were still unable to take care of themselves were cared for by their classmates. The senior students often took the initiative to carry Big Mao and Xiao Mao to the toilet and go home.Da Mao and Xiao Mao felt a sincere friendship when getting along with their classmates, and their temperaments began to become lively and cheerful.Whenever Ren Feili went back to Qiyang to see the two children, Da Mao and Xiao Mao would compete to write for her and tell her stories.Ren Feili was indescribably happy watching the progress of the two children. But after one semester, Ren Feili found that Xiao Mao's homework was much worse than normal children's, and even Da Mao's.She can only memorize books, and can't really read word by word. She knows that the two children suffer from "cerebral palsy", poor intelligence and brain coordination, and difficulty concentrating. .Xiao Mao himself was also very anxious, and said: "Mom, I'm sorry, my homework is not good, I must study hard in the future, don't worry about my mother." Seeing her sensible daughter, Ren Feili felt sore, hugged the child tightly and said, "Mom's sweet baby, mom won't blame you. However, while you are studying hard, you must persist in doing rehabilitation training. Mom is most worried about it." The most common thing is that while studying, the legs atrophy or deformed due to lack of good rehabilitation training.” Xiao Mao nodded seriously and said, "Don't worry, Mom, I will definitely do more exercises." At this time, Da Mao also comforted his mother and said, "Mom, I will do more rehabilitation training with my sister and study hard." Ren Feili hugged Da Mao with one arm and Xiao Mao with the other, holding back her tears and smiling. She thought, if the two daughters were healthy, how outstanding they would be. Ren Feili has been persisting in seeking medical advice in Changsha, sending medicines, learning materials and school supplies to her children, paying close attention to the learning situation of her two daughters, and constantly encouraging them. The two children are also very sensible and study very hard. Da Mao's academic performance has reached the middle level in the class, and Xiao Mao's grades have also made great progress. This grade may not be a big deal for a healthy child, but for two people with " It's a miracle for a child with cerebral palsy. Later, when L inadvertently learned of this, he became even more indifferent to Ren Feili and the children, and she felt deeply pained but helpless.Since then, their marriage has been turbulent until November 7, 2001. After nine years of persistence and opposition, they finally formally divorced because of the great differences between the two parties on the issue of children's education and upbringing. Ren Feili knew that the family had become difficult to maintain. At this time, she thought more about the future and how to provide rehabilitation for the children. Just after the Spring Festival in 2000, Ren Feili graciously took Da Mao and Xiao Mao back to Changsha from their hometown in Qiyang. She began to earn money continuously, began to seek medical advice for her two daughters, and insisted on making them at home every day. Rehabilitation. Not to be outdone, the self-reliant Ren Feili became more determined in her original choice, sharing the same fate with her daughter. In the days to come, she took pressure and pain as stepping stones, and treated life with an optimistic, tenacious, confident, and warm heart; she bravely raised, treated, and educated a pair of disabled daughters with the greatest maternal love in the world burden. From then on, for the dignity of a mother, she no longer knelt down, but stood up to meet the storms of life. As a weak woman, how can I take on the burden of raising, treating, and educating two disabled daughters? As early as 1993, in order to earn money to treat her daughter, she started to work part-time. She has done direct sales of cosmetics, promoted products for her unit, and made slides, etc., but these were not long-term solutions. Once, a couple in the IT industry who wanted to help Ren Feili said to her: "Let me teach you how to make a web page, maybe it will be useful in the future." Ren Feili quickly learned to make web pages with her existing computer foundation.Usually colleagues and friends will intentionally give up the work in their hands to her. "it is good." "it is good."
