Eid al-Fitr falls on October 1st of the Islamic calendar.Muslims fast in the whole month of September in the Islamic calendar. On the last day, they look for the new moon (crescent), and break the fast the day after seeing the moon, which is "Eid al-Fitr".On this day, Muslims put on neat clothes, go to mosques to participate in ceremonies and celebrations, wish each other a happy festival and present gifts. The scale and atmosphere of the liturgy are greater than that of Juma.During the festival, every household fried Sanzi, youxiang and other food and gave them to others; at the same time, they gave voluntary alms to the poor. Some areas in China donate a certain amount of wheat, which is called "wheat money".In Xinjiang, this festival is called "Rozi Festival" (Persian transliteration).

Eid al-Adha falls on December 10th in the Islamic calendar. This day is also the last day of Hajj.A ceremony will be held today. The main content of the celebration is sacrifice.According to regulations, one person should slaughter one sheep or seven people should slaughter one cow (one camel).Kill animals and offer sacrifices, thank God for His mercy on mankind.Eid al-Adha is also known as "Ed al-Adha" (Arabic transliteration). The Holy Day falls on March 12th in the Islamic calendar. This day is the anniversary of Muhammad's birth, so it is called "Holy Ji".Muhammad is also said to have died on March 12.This day is also the death day, so it is also called "holy death".Chinese Muslims are used to commemorating the Holy Ji and the Holy Taboo together, commonly known as the "Holy Meeting".On this day, an assembly will be held, and collective chanting in the mosque will praise Muhammad and tell the "hadith" and Muhammad's life story. In some areas of China, Muslims also slaughter cattle and goats, and host banquets.
