What is Kundalini Yoga and how can it possibly help Westerners? Why isn't your method of awakening the Khandalis the traditional, controlled method.Rather messy? Existence is energy, the various ways and the various forms of movement of energy. In terms of human existence, this energy is kundalini energy.Kundalini is the accumulation of human physical and spiritual energy. Energy can exist either explicitly or implicitly. It can remain in the seed, or it can manifest itself in an overt form.Every energy is not in the seed.Just in obvious form.Kundalini means your full potential.Your full possibilities. But it is a seed; it is the potential. The way to awaken the Karani is the way to turn your potential into reality.

So first of all, kundalini is nothing extraordinary. It's just human energy, but usually only a part, a very small part of it is working.Even that part is not functioning harmoniously; it is contradictory. That is human troubles and human pain.If your energy is working harmoniously then you will be joyful, but if it is contradictory -- if it is against itself -- then you will be troubled. All troubles mean that your energies are contradictory. And all happiness, all joy means your energies are in harmony. Why is the whole energy potential and not actual? As far as everyday life is concerned, it is not necessary -- there is no need for it.Only the part that is needed, that is activated, goes into action. It is not needed in daily life, so only a very small part shows up.However, even this small manifestation of turmoil is not harmonious, because your daily life is not harmonious.

Your needs are contradictory.Society needs something like this. And your nature calls for the exact opposite. The needs of society and the needs of the individual contradict each other. Society has its needs; morality and religion have theirs. These conflicts prevent man from being a harmonious whole. They tear people apart. In the morning, someone wants you to do this; in the afternoon, someone wants you to do that.Your wife needs you this way; your mother needs you exactly the opposite. Then daily life becomes a kind of contradictory demand on you, and that small part of the physical energy expressed in you is playing against you.

There is another contradiction. The part that has been expressed is always in conflict with the part that has not yet been expressed. The part of reality is always in contradiction with the part that is latent. The potential part pushes itself into the foreground, and the actual part always suppresses it. In the words of psychology, the unconscious always contradicts the conscious.Consciousness will try to control it, because it is always in danger of the unconscious manifesting itself.Consciousness is controlled, but the latent, the unconscious is not.You can run the conscious, but once the unconscious starts, you have no security. You can't handle it.That is the worry of consciousness. So, this is another kind of contradiction, bigger than the first kind, the contradiction between direct consciousness and unconsciousness. The conflict between the energy that has been expressed and the energy that wants to be expressed.

These two types of contradictions are why you cannot be harmonious. If not harmonious.Your energy will be against you.Energy requires movement, and movement is always from subtle to visible, from seed to tree, from darkness to light. Such movement is only possible when there is no repression.Otherwise this movement, this harmony will be destroyed.Your energy becomes your enemy. You are divided into families that are opposed to each other; you are a group of people. You are not one; you are many. As far as the human being is concerned, this is its state of being. But it shouldn't be.So there will be ugliness and troubles.Only when your life energies are in motion, in free motion, in loose motion - not suppressed, not bound; in harmony, not fragmented; not contradictory, whole and organic - joy and beauty can arise .When your energies achieve this harmonious unity, that is what kundalini is all about.Kundalini is just a special term for all your energies, when it is unified, moving, harmonious, without any contradiction; when it is cooperative, complementary and organic, then, there, there is a A transformation—an incomparable, unknown transformation.

When energies are conflicting, you wish to release them.Only when your conflicting energies are released, thrown away, do you feel safe. But every time you throw them away, your life energy, your life force is moving downwards, or moving outwards. This downward movement is outward movement, and upward movement is inward movement. The higher your energies hit, the deeper they go in; the lower they drop, the more they go out.If you throw away your conflicting energies, you will feel like a heavy burden, but it is like throwing away your life bit by bit, segment by segment, in installments. That's suicide.Unless our life energy becomes unified and harmonious, and the energy flows inward, we are committing suicide.

When you are letting go of energy, you experience relaxation, but this relaxation must be short-lived, because you are a continuous source of energy. The energy calls up again and you have to get rid of it again. What is commonly thought of as happiness is simply throwing away conflicting energies.Happiness means you have unburdened yourself. It is always negative, never positive.Yet joy is positive. It will only come when your energy is realized. When your energy is not being thrown out. It's opening inwards, and when you start to align with them instead of contradicting them, there's an inward movement. There is no end to this movement. It goes deeper and deeper, and the deeper it goes, the more blissful, ecstatic it becomes.

So, energy can have two possibilities. The first is pure release, throwing away energies that have become a burden to you, energies that you cannot use and cannot recreate. This state of mind is anti-air dalini. This general state of human beings is anti-kundalini.Energy moves from the center to the periphery because that's where you move. Kundalini means just the opposite.Strength, energy, movement from the periphery to the center. Inward movement, inward movement, is blissful, but outward movement brings joy and trouble at the same time.Happiness is short-lived, and troubles are long-lasting.Happiness occurs only in some intervals.Only when you're hoping, only when you're expecting. There will be a gap.The practical effect is always an annoyance.

Happiness is in anticipation, in hope.In desire, in dream. It is just that you have unburdened yourself; the happiness is totally negative. You don't have that kind of happiness, you only have the temporary absence of troubles. You take this "absence" as happiness. You are constantly creating new energies. That is the meaning of life is the ability to constantly create vitality.Once this ability disappears, you are dead. That's what it does: you keep creating energy, and you don't know what to do with it.When it was created, you threw it away, when it was not created. You feel troubled again, feeling sick.

When the life force is not created, you feel sick; but when it is created, you feel sick again. The first sickness is a sickness of weakness, the second sickness is a sickness in which energy becomes a burden to you.You cannot make it harmonious, make it creative, make it joyful. You created it, and now you don't know what to do with it, so you just throw it away. Then you create more energy. This absurdity, but this absurdity is exactly what we usually mean by human existence: constantly creating energies, and those energies keep getting heavy, and you have to keep releasing them again and again.

That's why sex has become so important and so meaningful, because it's one of the most effective means of unburdening yourself of energy. If any society is rich, you have more sources of creative energy. Then you also become more erotic because you have more tension to release. Energy is constantly being created and thrown away.If one is smart enough, perceptive enough, then one feels that it is absurd, that it is utterly meaningless. Then one feels that life is aimless. Are you just a machine that creates energy and throws it away? What's the point?People need to exist?Just to be a machine that creates energy and throws it away? So, the more sensitive a person is, the more he feels that life has no meaning, as we know it.The meaning of kundalini is to transform this absurd state into a meaningful state. The science of Kundalini is one of the most subtle sciences.Physics is also concerned with energy, but only with physical energy, not with mental energy.Yogis are concerned with spiritual energy. It is a metaphysical science, it is a transcendent science. Like the physical energy with which science is concerned, this mental energy can be creative or destructive. If it is not used it becomes destructive; if it is used it becomes creative. But it can also be used non-creatively.To make it creative, you must first understand that you should not only realize a part of your potential. If a part is realized, and the remaining part - the main part of your potential has not been realized. This state cannot be creative. The whole potential has to be realized. The whole potential has to be realized. There are many ways to realize your potential, to bring it to life, to awaken it.It is sleeping.Like a snake. So it was named Podalini; the power of the serpent, a sleeping serpent. If you've ever seen a snake sleep, this is what it looks like.It huddles; it doesn't move. But a snake can stand upright with its tail.It stands by its energy. So we use the snake as a symbol.Your raw energy is also huddled there to sleep. But it can stand upright; it can wake up in full realization of its potential. Then you will be transformed. Life and death are just two states of energy.Life means energy is working, death means energy is not working.Life means energy is awake; death means energy is only asleep. So according to the theory of Kundalini Yoga, generally speaking, only a part of you is alive. That part of your energy that has become reality is your life. The part that was left slept soundly as if it didn't exist. But it can be awakened.Kundalini Yoga attempts to bring potential energy into reality in a variety of ways. For example, pranayama, the breath control method, is one of the methods of repeatedly impacting the sleeping energy.Through breathing, this impact is learned.Because the breath is the bridge that connects your life force - your Prana, your source of life - with your reality. It is a bridge between potential and reality. As soon as you change your breathing system, your whole energy system changes. When you sleep, your breathing changes. When you are awake, your breathing changes. When you are angry, your breathing is different; when you are in love, your breathing is the same; when your love song is high, your breathing is different.Every state of mind has a particular quality of life force there, so your breath changes. When you are angry, you need to release more energy to the periphery. If you're in danger -- if you have to attack or have to defend -- you need to put more energy out to the perimeter. Those energies will rush out from the center. Because there's a lot of energy being pumped out of your body during intercourse, you'll feel exhausted afterward.Likewise, after getting angry, you can feel exhausted. But after being in love, you don't feel burnt out.You will feel energized. After praying, you will feel energized. Why did the exact opposite happen? When you are in love, you don't need to release your energy to the periphery, because there is no danger. You are at ease and relaxed. So the energy flows inward. You feel refreshed as energy flows inward. When you take a deep breath, you feel refreshed because the energy is flowing inward.when energy flows inward. You feel alive and content; you feel healthy and at ease. One more thing to notice; as the energy flows inward, your breath starts to have a different quality. It is relaxing, rhythmic, and harmonious.Sometimes, you don't feel it at all, as if it has stopped. It becomes so subtle because no energy is needed, so breathing is born.In samadhi, in ecstasy, one feels that the breath stops completely. There is no need to be affected by the outward flow of energy, so breathing is also unnecessary. Through Pronayama, this latent energy within you is systematically awakened.Gently tapping can also be done with asana - yoga asanas, as every point of your body is connected to the source of energy. Therefore, each posture has a corresponding effect on the energy source. The posture used by the Buddha is called Patmassa - the lotus body.bit.It is one of the least energetic positions. If you sit upright, "sitting" is a perfectly balanced position where you are in tune with the earth. There is no gravity. If your hands and feet are positioned so that they form a closed loop, the electrical energy of life It will flow inside the ring. Buddha's posture is a circular posture. The energy starts to circulate; it is not thrown away. Energy is always flowing out of the fingers or toes. But through a circle.Energy can't flow out.So women are more resistant to disease than men, and they live longer than men.The rounder the body, the less energy is lost. after sexual intercourse.Women don't feel very tired because their organs are round and absorptive in shape.Men are more difficult.Because of the shape of their sex organs, they give off more energy. Not only biological energy, but spiritual energy as well. In the lotus position, all the energy outlets are brought together so that no energy can flow out.Cross your legs.Hands touch feet, feet against sex center. This position is completely vertical, so there is no gravity. In this position. One can completely forget about one's body because there is no outflow of life energy. The eyes are also closed or half-closed, and the eyeballs are still, because the eyes are also a large energy outlet. Even when dreaming. You also release a lot of energy through eye movement. In fact, touching the eyes with a finger is one way to know if a person is dreaming. If they were moving, then he was dreaming.Wake him up and you'll find he's just dreaming. If the eyeballs are not moving, then he is in deep, dreamless sleep. All energy is gathered inward, and none of it runs outward. Athena, Pranayama - there are so many ways to make the energy flow inward. When they flow inward, they become one, because there can only be one in the center. So, the more the energy flows inward, the more harmonious it is.Contradictions disappear. There is no contradiction in the center. There is only the organic unity of the whole. So feel joy. in addition.Athena and Pronayama are the helpers of the body. They are important, but they are only physical aids.If you have a problem with your mind, they will not be of much help, because the concrete and the mind are not really two things. They are two parts of the same thing. You are not body plus mind; you are body/mind.You are psycho/somatic or somato/twrchic.We talk about the body as one thing and the mind as another, but body and mind are two extremes of the same energy. The body is gross, the mind is subtle, but the energy is the same. One has to work from both ends.On the body, there is hatha yoga: athena, pranayama, etc.; on the mind, there is rasa yoga and other kinds of yoga, which are primarily concerned with your various states of mind. Body and mind are one and the same energy. For example, if you can control your breath when you are angry, the anger will go away.If you can continue to breathe rhythmically, anger will not overwhelm you.Likewise, if you continue to breathe rhythmically, Sege cannot hold you back. It's there, but it won't show. Nobody knows it's there. Not even you can know.So sex can be pacified; anger can be pacified. You can calm them down with rhythmic breathing. You can't even feel it yourself. But the anger or the sex is still there. It is stilled by the body, but it remains inside, untouched. One has to work with the body and the mind. The body should be trained with the method of Guojia, and the mind should be trained with wide knowledge. If you practice like gal.You need more breadth because things get more subtle. If you're angry, you can usually feel it because it's very gross. But if you practice Pranayama, you need more awareness, more sensitivity to be aware of anger, because now anger is more subtle. The body is no longer cooperating with it, so there will be no physical appearance at all If people practice the method of awareness and at the same time practice the method of yoga, they will understand the deeper realms of awareness.Otherwise they are only aware of the gross realm. If you change the gross without changing the subtle. You will be caught in a dilemma. Now the paradox begins to assert itself in new ways. Yoga is helpful, but it's only part of it.Another part of the Buddha calls it alertness. Practice yoga so that your body becomes rhythmic and in tune with your inner movements, and also practice alertness. Be aware of your breath. In Gaugarh you have to change the way you breathe. In alertness you have to be aware of the breath as it is.Just be aware of it.If you can be aware of your breath, then you can be aware of your thought process; otherwise, not. Those who try to be directly aware of their thought process, they cannot do this. That was pretty tough, pretty tedious stuff. The breath is the gateway of the mind.Even if you stop breathing a little.Your mind will also stop. When the breath stops, thought stops. If your mind is confused.Your breathing becomes chaotic.Breathing automatically mirrors your thought process. The Buddha talked about breath counting: the yoga of awareness of breathing in and out.He said: Start here. "That's the right place to start. One should start with the breath. Never with the thought process itself. You can feel the subtle movement of thought only when you can mistake the subtle movement of breath. The process of intellect changes the quality of the mind. Senas and pranayamas change the quality of the body. Then one day, your body and your mind will become one without any contradiction. When they are in sync, you are neither body nor mind. For the first time in my life. You know yourself as "theself."You go above and beyond. Only when there is no contradiction. You can pass Korean. In this moment of harmony, when body and mind become one. There is no contradiction. You transcend both. You are neither. Now, in a sense, you are nothing: ho-thing.You just know the party. Not knowing something, but awareness itself. This awareness of not being aware of anything, this consciousness of not being aware of anything. It's the moment of explosion.Your potential becomes reality. You break into a new world; the ultimate. This ultimate is what all religions are concerned with. There are many paths to this ultimate. One may talk about kundalini or not; it is immaterial, kundalini is just a noun. You can use another noun entirely. But what the word kundalini signifies is bound to be there in one way or another as an energy that flows from within. This inward flow is the only revolution, the only freedom.Otherwise you will keep creating more hells.Because the more you go out.The higher you go the further you go.The farther you are from yourself, the sicker you are. Kundalini is the source of all life, but you cut yourself off from it in various ways. Then Tsukuru becomes an outsider to himself, and you don't know how to get home. This return is the science of yoga.Kundalini is the subtle science of human transformation. You ask why the traditional method is methodical and my method is chaotic.Traditional methods are methodical because they were developed for different people in earlier times than they are today.Modern man is an entirely new phenomenon. No traditional method can be used intact, because modern man has never appeared before. So, in a sense, all traditional methods become irrelevant. For example, the human body has undergone great changes. Now, it is not as natural as it was when Patanjali created his system of yoga. It's completely different. It was so numbed by drugs that no conventional means could help it. In the past, hatha yogis were not allowed to use drugs.Absolutely not allowed, because various chemical changes not only make the method difficult, but also harmful. Now, however, the entire atmosphere is artificial air, water, society.living environment.Nothing is natural. You are born in artificiality; you grow in artificiality. So today, traditional methods are ultimately harmful. They must be adapted to modern conditions. In addition, the quality of the human mind undergoes a fundamental change. In Patanjali's time, the human center of personality was not the mind; it was the heart. Before that.It is not even a heart. Its position is even lower.near the navel. The method established by Hatha Yoga is useful and meaningful for those whose personality center is the navel. Then that center became the heart.Only then can devotional yoga (bhaktiyogo) be used. The devotional janga was formed in the Middle Ages, because that is when the personality center rises from the navel to the heart. The method must be adjusted according to the application object.Now.Even devotional chant is out of season. The center of personality is further away from the navel. Now the center of the personality is the brain, so those teachings like Krishna Morti are very attractive. There is no need for methods, no means - just understanding. However, if that's just verbal inertia, just intellectual, nothing will change.Nothing will be transformed. It again becomes an accumulation of knowledge. I would rather use a chaotic approach than an orderly one.Because the method of chaos can be very effective in helping you push the personality center down from the brain. No methodical approach can push the personality center down, because ordering is the job of the brain. With a methodical approach, the brain will be strengthened; more energy will be delivered to it. By a chaotic approach, the brain will be rendered useless. It can't do anything, its methods are extremely chaotic, and the personality center is naturally pushed from the brain to the heart. If you do my Dynamic Meditation (Dguamic Meditation) heartily, disorderly, and chaotically, your center of personality will move to the heart. And then there will be a catharsis there.Catharsis is needed because your heart is so suppressed, it's all caused by your brain.Your brain has pretty much taken over your being, it rules you all the time. There is no place for the heart, so the desire of the heart is suppressed. You never smiled from the bottom of your heart.Never lived sincerely, never did anything sincerely. The brain always has to intervene to classify and compare things mathematically, while the heart is suppressed. So first of all, a chaotic method is needed to push the center of party knowledge from the brain back to the heart. Then catharsis is needed to clear the burden of the heart, get rid of repression, and make the heart open.If the mind becomes bright and unburdened, the center of awareness comes down even lower; it comes to the navel. The navel is the source of life force, the source of everything that happens body and mind and everything. My use of this messy approach is deliberate. The methodical approach is useless now because the mind uses it as its own tool. Now, it is no use simply singing various prayer songs.Because the heart is so burdened, it cannot open up for real chanting.Chanting can only become an escape from chanting; prayer can only become an escape. The heart cannot open for prayer because it is deeply burdened with various repressions.I don't know anyone who can really pray deeply.Prayer is impossible because love itself is impossible. It is necessary to push the party's knowledge to the source and to the root.Only then is transformation possible. So, I use chaotic methods to push awareness down from the brain. Whenever you're in a state of chaos, your brain shuts down. For example, if you are driving and a person suddenly bumps into you, you will react immediately, and the speed of the reaction cannot be the result of the work of the brain. The brain needs time.It considers what to do and what not to do.So whenever there's a potential accident and your foot brakes, you have a feeling around your navel, as if that's your stomach responding.Due to sudden accidents, your knowledge has been pushed to the limit. If the accident could be precalculated, the brain would be able to deal with it; yet when you are faced with an accident, something unknown happens. Then you notice that your awareness has moved to the navel. If you ask a Zen monk, "Where do you think from? He puts his hand on his belly. When Westerners first meet Japanese monks, they can't understand." How ridiculous? How can you think from your belly? But the Zen monk's answer is meaningful.Awareness can use any center of the body, but the center closest to the water source is the navel. The brain is the farthest from the source, so if life energy moves outward, the center of consciousness becomes the brain. If the life energy flows inwards, eventually the navel will become the center. We need chaotic methods to cast the consciousness at its roots, because transformation is only possible from the roots.Otherwise, you will continue to speak well without any transformation. It is not enough to know what is right. You have to change their roots; otherwise it won't change. When a person knows the right thing but can't do anything about it.He will be doubly tense. He knew, but there was nothing he could do.Only the knowledge that comes from the victorious navel and the report is meaningful. If your knowing comes from the brain, it has no transformational power. The mind cannot know the ultimate, because when you work with the mind you are at odds with the root - your birthplace.Your whole trouble is that you left your belly button. You came from the navel and you will die through it.One must return to one's roots. But returning is difficult, arduous. Kundalini Yoga is concerned with life energy and its inward flow.It is concerned with methods that can bring body and mind to a point where transcendence can occur. Then, everything can change. The body is different; the mind is different; the way of being (theIvg) is different. It is life. Bullock carts are useful, but you don't need them anymore. Now you are driving a car, so you can't use the method of driving a car.It is very useful for bullock carts. The worry is that it has nothing to do with driving a car. Traditional methods have an appeal because they are very old and many people have achieved them in the past. They may not be unrelated to us, but they are not unrelated to Buddha, Mahavira, Patanjali or Krishna. Now these ancient methods may have lost their meaning, but because the trap is achieved through them, they have an appeal.Traditionalists say, "If the Buddha could have lived through these methods, why can't I?" But we are in a completely different situation now.The whole atmosphere, the whole field of thought is changed. Each method is related to a specific environment, a specific mind, and a specific human use. Its opposite extreme is the method of Krishna Morti. He negates all methods. But in doing so, he would have to deny Buddha. This is the flip side of the same coin.If you deny these methods. You must deny Buddha, if; if you do not deny Buddha. Then you can't deny his method. These are extremes.Extremes are always wrong. You can't negate a mistake by going to the extreme, because the opposite extreme is still a mistake.Truth is always in the middle. So in my opinion.Just because the old methods didn't work doesn't mean no methods are useful. It only states that the method itself must be changed. Even no-method is a method. It may well be that for some one there is no way that is a way. A way is always true in so far as it relates to the person to be determined; it is never universal. When truths are universalized, they become So whatever is used, whatever is said is always aimed at a specific person: nailed to his attention, aimed at his mind, aimed at him, not at someone else. Now that too has become a difficult thing. In the past, there has always been a one-to-one relationship between a mentor and a protégé.It was a personal relationship and a personal exchange. Today such relationships are impersonal. One has to speak to a crowd, so one has to do popular things. But popular truths can become false.Certain loci are meaningful only to certain people. I face this dilemma every day.If you come to me and ask me something, I answer you and no one else.sometimes.Someone came to ask me some questions, and I answered him, not anyone else. These two answers may contradict each other, because the two people asking the question may be contradictory. So, if I am going to help you, I must speak to you specifically. And if I speak to everyone in particular, I have to say a lot of contradictory things. Anyone who speaks in a general sense can be consistent, but then that truth becomes false, since every true exposition must be addressed to a particular person.certainly.Truth is eternal - it is never new.And never old—but truth is real and ultimate. For a particular person, for a conditioned mind, for a particular attitude, the method is always appropriate or unsuitable. I see the current situation, modern man has changed too much, he needs new methods and new means. The method of chaos can help the modern mind, because the modern mind itself is chaos. This kind of confusion, this kind of resistance in the hearts of modern people. It is actually against something else: the body against the mind, against its control. If we speak in yogic terms, it is the heart center and the navel center against the mind. These centers are against the mind because the mind monopolizes the entire domain of the human soul. This situation has become unbearable. So universities will become centers of rebellion. That's no accident. If we think of the whole society as an organism, then the university is its head, its brain. Because of this revolt of the modern mind, it is bound to lean towards a loose and confused approach.Dynamic Meditation can help the center of awareness out of the brain. In this way, the person who uses this method can never rebel, because the cause of rebellion is satisfied. He will feel very comfortable. So in my opinion, meditation is not only personal salvation and personal transformation; it can also provide the basis for the transformation of the whole society and the whole human being. One either has to commit suicide.Either had to transform his energy.
