Chapter 4 Sex, Love and Prayer: Three Steps to God

Please describe to us the spiritual meaning of sexual energy.How can we sublimate sex, spiritualize sex?Is intercourse, lovemaking possible as a meditation, as a springboard to a higher level of consciousness? There is no such thing as "sexual energy".Energy is one and the same.Sex is one of its channels, one of its directions; it is one of the applications of energy.The life energy is one, but it can manifest in many directions.Sex is one of them.When life energy becomes biological energy, it becomes sexual energy. Sex is just one application of life energy.So, there is no problem of sublimation.If the energy of life flows in another direction, there will be no world.But that is not a sublimation; it is just a transformation.

Sex is the natural, biological flow of life energy and the lowest application of life energy.It is natural, because life cannot exist without it, it is the lowest.Because it's the base, not the pinnacle.When sex becomes all, the whole life is a waste.That's like building a foundation and then going on to build the foundation, but you never build a house on the foundation. Sex is just an opportunity for a higher transformation of life energy.As far as it is concerned.It is good.But when sex becomes total, when it becomes the only channel for life energy, then it becomes destructive.It can only be a means.cannot be the target.and.The means are meaningful only when the end is achieved.If one abuses the means, the whole purpose is undermined.If sex becomes the center of life, which has become the center of life, then the means becomes the end.Sex creates the biological basis for the existence and continuation of life.It is a means; it should not become an end.

Once sex becomes the goal, the spiritual dimension is lost.But if sex becomes meditative, then it points to the spiritual dimension.It becomes a stepping stone, a springboard.There is no need for sublimation because that energy is neither sexual nor disenchanting.Energy is always in nature.It doesn't have a name itself.The name comes from the portal it passes through.That name is not the name of the energy itself; it is the name of the form the energy takes.When you say "sexual energy" it means the energy that goes through the sexual channel, the energy that goes through the biological channel. The same energy. When it flows to God, it is spiritual energy.

Doing anything negative about sex will not transform this energy.Instead, it will cause destructive conflicts within you.When you fight an energy, you are fighting yourself.No one can win this war.Sometimes, you feel like you've won, and sometimes sex, you feel like you've won again.This situation will continue.Sometimes you have no libido and you feel like it's got it under control, and other times you're full of libido and it seems like everything you've gained has gone down the drain.No one can overcome their own energy. If there is somewhere else, some other more blissful place that needs your energy.Sex will disappear.It's not that the energy is sublimated; it's not that you do something about it.Rather, a new path to higher bliss opens up for you, and that energy begins to flow automatically and spontaneously through the new door.

When you see it as a biological fact, you don't care about it at all.You start thinking about the name only when it acquires some spiritual meaning.So don't add any meaning to it; don't create any philosophy around it.Just look at those facts.Don't do anything for it or against it.Let it be as it is; accept it in an ordinary way.Don't take an unusual attitude to it.

Just as you have eyes and hands, so you have sex.You're not against your eyes and your hands, so don't be against sex either.Then the question of how the world should be treated becomes irrelevant.There is no point in inventing a dichotomy for or against.It is a specific fact.You came into this world through sex.You have an inner program to re-anoint through sex.You are part of a powerful continuum.Your body dies, so it has a built-in program that creates another body to take its place. Death is certain.That's why the world is so fascinating.You will not be here forever so you will have to be replaced by a new body, a duplicate.Sex is so important.Because the whole existence clings to it; otherwise man cannot continue to exist.If it had free will, the earth would be deserted.Sex is so fascinating, so compelling, so sexual, because the whole of nature supports it.Without it, life cannot exist.

Why sex is so important to religious seekers.Because it is so involuntary, so irresistible, so natural.It has become a standard.Used to know if a particular person's life energy has reached divinity.We cannot directly know that someone has seen divinity - we cannot directly know that someone has a stone - but we can know directly whether someone has thrown the stone, because we have the stone.We can directly know that someone has transcended sex because we use sex. Sex is so irresistible, so involuntary, such a force that one can go beyond the sun only after attaining divinity.So celibacy becomes a criterion for determining whether or not someone has attained divinity.Then, for him, the kind of sex that exists in ordinary people doesn't exist anymore.

This is not to say that by gradually getting rid of sex, one attains the godhood.This paradox is a fallacy.The person who has found the diamond throws away the stone in his hand.But its paradox is untrue.You can drop stones, but the well doesn't mean you have reached a certain level beyond it. If you can become aware during sex, then even in death you are aware.The depth of sex is the same as the depth of death, they are about the same.You come to the same point.So, if you can be aware during sex, you have achieved a great deal.It is invaluable. Therefore, use sex as an act of meditation.Don't fight it, don't fight it.You cannot resist nature; you are part of it.You must have a friendly, understanding attitude towards sex.It is the deepest dialogue between you and nature. In reality, sex isn't really a conversation between a man and a woman.It is a dialogue between man through woman and woman through man with nature.It is a dialogue with nature.That means you are in the flow of the universe; you are in the harmony of heaven; you are one with the whole.In this way man is fulfilled through woman and woman through man. Not all men, not all women.They are two pieces of the same whole.Therefore, whenever they become one in their actions in the world, they are able to harmonize the inner nature of things and harmonize with the Tao.This coordination can biologically give birth to a new life.If you are not aware, that is the only possibility.But if you are knowing, this act can be your birth, your spiritual birth.Through it, you will be reborn. Once you join it consciously, you become its witness.Once you can become a witness in the act of the world, you will be transcendent, because in witnessing.you're free. Now there will be no compulsion.You will not be an unconscious participant.Once you become a witness in this act, you have transcended it.Now you know you are not just this body.Your inner seeing power has recognized something beyond it. This "beyond" can only be realized when you go deep.It is not a superficial encounter.When you are bargaining in a certain market, your knowledge cannot be very deep, because the behavior itself is superficial.As far as human beings are concerned, it is usually only through worldly actions that people can become inner witnesses. The more you go into meditation through sex, the less effective sex will be.Meditation will grow out of it, and in the growing mind a new door will open and sex will wither.This is not a sublimation.It is like a dry leaf falling from a tree.The tree never even knows that the leaves are falling.Likewise, you never even know that the mechanical speed of the world is disappearing. Create meditation in sex; make sex the object of meditation.See it as a temple and you will go beyond it, you will be transformed.Then the sex is not there.But there is no suppression there, no sublimation there.Sex just becomes irrelevant, meaningless.Your growth has outgrown it.Now it doesn't get hot on you. It's like a child growing up.Now toys are pointless.He has not sublimated anything, she has not suppressed anything.He just grew up; he became mature.Now toys are pointless.They were something a child played with, and now that child was no longer a child. Likewise, the more you meditate, the less tempting the world will be for you.Gradually, naturally, without conscious effort to sublimate sexuality, the energy flows to a new source.The same energy that used to flow in sex is now flowing in meditation.God's door is being knocked on while it flows in meditation Also, you keep using sex and love. Normally, we use both words, as if they are somehow connected. They are not connected. Love is only when sex is gone. It will come. Before that, love is nothing more than a kind of temptation, a kind of mutual teasing before sexual intercourse. It is just the foreshadowing of sexual intercourse. When you meditate during sex, a new friendship will arise between you.For, through each other, you have begun to commune with nature; through each other, you have glimpsed the unknown depths of reality.You will be grateful for this, compassion for each other: compassion for this suffering; compassion for this exploration; compassion for a partner, a fellow trek. This is the only way if sex becomes meditation.Its scene has an endless fragrance: that kind of feeling is not a mutual tease before sexual intercourse, but a kind of maturity, a kind of growth, a kind of meditation.So, if sex becomes meditative, you will feel love.Love is a mixture of gratitude, friendship and compassion.If you have all three, then you are in love. If this love develops, it transcends sex.Love develops through sex.But go beyond dryness.Just like a flower depends on its root to open, but beyond retribution.It doesn't look back on bad beings backwards.So, if love develops.There would be no world.In fact, this is one of the ways to know if love has developed.Sex is like an eggshell, from which love must emerge.Once it gets out, the eggshell is gone.It was shattered, disintegrated. Sex can reach love only when meditation is present, otherwise not.If there is no meditation, the same sexual act will be repeated and you will get bored.Sex gets boring by the day, and you don't appreciate the other person.Instead, you feel cheated; you are hostile towards him.He rules you.He rules the body with sex because it has become a need of yours.You have become a slave because you cannot live without living.You can never be friendly to such a man - in front of him you have become a slave. Both feel the same, the other is the master.Domination will be rejected and contested, and sex will still be repeated.It will become a daily fixture.You fight with your sex partner, then make up.And then you fight again; and then you make up again.Feelings are at best a kind of adjustment.You cannot feel friendly; there is no joy there.Instead, there is only cruelty and pressure; you have nothing to suffer.You have become a slave and sex cannot grow into love.It's still just sex. This deepening always depends on meditation.Its approach has always been that way.The levels are different, the dimensions are different, the steps are different, but the method is the same.Carefully explore sex and you'll lead me to love.deep love.You find a way to pray.Probe into prayer and you will explode into oneness.This oneness is totality.This oneness is bliss, this oneness is ecstasy. One has to find one's image by knocking on other people's doors. A drop of water can become a sea sample.That is the inner longing of every drop of water.in every act.In every desire you can find the same longing.To reveal it, to follow it.That was a great adventure!As far as our present life is concerned, we are not aware.But we can do it.It's tough making it not impossible.It was possible for a Jesus, a Buddha, a Mahavira, it was possible for everyone. When you come into humanity with this intensity, with this alertness, with this sensitivity, you will transcend it.There will be no sublimation at all.When you go beyond.There is no sex there.Not even sublimated sex.There is love, prayer and oneness there. These are the three stages of love: physical love, spiritual love, spiritual love When all three are transcended, there is God.When Jesus said on the way to school, the last thing we know is love.Beyond that is the unknown, and that unknown is indefinable.We can point to God only by our last knowledge—love.There is no experience beyond the stage of love, because there is no experience at all.That drop of water is already the ocean! Take it step by step, but with a friendly attitude, no tension no war.Just go so vigilantly.In the default of life, alertness is the only light.In the light of this light.get into it.Carefully search every corner.God is everywhere, so don't be against anything. But don't rest on anything either.go forward.For greater joy awaits you.This journey continues.You are close to sex.You use sex.If you are close to love, you use love.Don't think of suppression or sublimation; think of struggle.God can hide behind anything, so don't fight.Don't run away from things.In fact, it hides behind everything, so no matter where you are, just get started and you'll make progress.Don't stop anywhere and you will reach, because life is everywhere. Qiu Jesus said: Under every stone there is the Lord.But you only see stones.You have to go through this stony state of mind.When you see sex as the enemy, it becomes a stone.It is opaque; you cannot see beyond it.Use it, meditate in it, and the stone becomes like glass.You look from behind it and you forget about the glass.You'll remember everything behind the glass. Anything that becomes transparent tears away.So don't turn sex into a stone; make it transparent.It will become transparent through meditation.
