Is there a difference between body and mind, matter and consciousness, form and spirit? How can one go beyond body and head to spiritual awareness? The first thing to understand is that the distinction between body and mind is simply wrong. If you start with that separation, you will get nowhere; wrong starts always end up with nothing. It cannot produce anything, because each step has its own development logic. The second step will be generated from the first step, the third step will be generated from the second step, and so on.There is a logical consequence. So in a sense, when you take the first step, you have already chosen a machine

The first step is more important than the last step, the beginning is more important than the ending, because the ending is just a fruit.Yet we are always worried about the end, never about the beginning; always worried about the end, never about the means. The end has become so important to us.So much so that we can no longer remember the seed and the beginning. Then we can go on dreaming, but we will never reach reality. This conception of a divided person, this conception of a dual existence -- body and mind, flesh and spirit -- is a wrong step for any seeker.Existence is non-discriminatory; all distinctions are of the mind only.It is the way the mind sees things that creates duality.Respectively is the prison of the mind.

The mind cannot work in its own way.Try to imagine two contradictory things, two opposite extremes, as one.It is difficult for the mind, the mind has a compulsion and an obsession to be consistent. It's hard to imagine how light and darkness could be one. This is inconsistent and contradictory. The mind has to create opposites: God and the devil, life and death love and hate. How can you possibly imagine love and hate as an energy? This is too difficult for the mind.So the mind has to separate. This solves the problem.Hate is the opposite of love. Love is the opposite of hate. Now you can be consistent and your mind can be at ease.So distinction is a facility of the mind -- not truth, not reality.

It's convenient to divide yourself into two: concrete and you.But as soon as you separate, you have already gone wrong.Unless you go back and change the first step, you may be born to wander and end up with no results because one wrong step will lead to wrong steps, so start right.Remember: you and your body are not two. That two" is just a convenience. In terms of existence,-" is enough. Dividing yourself in two is artificial. In fact, you feel like you are one all the time, but as soon as you start thinking about it, trouble comes when your body hurts. In that moment, you never feel that you are two, you feel that you and the body are one.Only after it's over, when you start thinking about it.You will be separated.

There is no difference right now.For example, if someone stabs a knife into your chest, at that moment, there is no difference between you.You don't think he's going to kill your body; you think he's going to kill you.Only after the thing is over, when it becomes part of the memory, can you separate. Now you can see these things, you can think about them. You can say that that person is going to kill you specifically. However, under the circumstances at the time, you couldn't say this sentence. Whenever you feel, you feel one.Whenever you think, you start to separate. Then hostility arises. If you are not this body, there will be a war.The question arises; "Who is the master? The body or me?" Then the ego starts to feel hurt. You start suppressing the body. And when you suppress the conductor, you suppress yourself; when you fight the body , you are also fighting with yourself. Such a chaotic situation, it has become suicidal.

You can't really overpower your body even if you try.How can I suppress my left hand with my right hand? They appear to be two, but the same energy flows within both.If they really are two, then repression is possible -- not just repression.Total destruction is also possible - but only if the same energy flows in both. How can I suppress my left hand and foot that's just pretending.I can put my left hand down with my right hand, I can pretend my left hand won, but the next second I can raise my left hand and nothing will stop it.This is the game we play.It was played and played by us.Sometimes you suppress sex, and sometimes world suppresses you.It becomes a vicious circle. You can never suppress sex.You can transform it, but you can never suppress it.

If you start with you and the body separately, it creates oppression. So, if your purpose is transformation, you should not start with separation.Only when the whole is understood as a limb can transformation take place. To set up the whole as separate parts creates oppression. If I know both hands are mine it is obviously absurd to try to suppress one of them.War becomes absurd because who wants to suppress whom?Who will fight whom?If you can feel comfortable with your body, you can start, and that will be the right step.In this way, separation and suppression will not appear. If you separate yourself from your body, many things will follow. The more you suppress the body, the more disappointed you will be.Because suppression is impossible.A temporary ceasefire agreement can be reached. But soon you are defeated again. And the more disappointed you are, the greater the difference and the deeper the gap between you and your body. You start to become more and more hostile to it.You start to feel that the body is so powerful that you cannot hold it down. Then you think: Now I have to hit harder.

So I say that everything has its own logic. If you start with the wrong premise, you can keep going until you finish and never make any progress.Every war leads you to another war.The mind feels; the body is strong and I am weak.I have to double down on it. ’ or it feels like: 'Now I have to get my body down. All austerities are only efforts to weaken the body. But the weaker you make your body, the weaker you become. The same relative force always remains between you and your body. As soon as you get weaker, you start to feel more disappointed because now you are more easily defeated. And there's nothing you can do about it. The weaker you become, the less likely you are to overcome physical temptation. The more you need to step up the fight.

Therefore, the first thing is not to consider the problem with separate thoughts. This distinction—physical and spiritual, material and spiritual, consciousness and matter—is only an illusion of language. All absurdity comes from language. For example, if you say something, I have to say yes or no.We are not neutral. "Yes" is always absolute; "No is also absolute. There is no neutral word in any language. Therefore, Di Bono invented a new word called Po (po). He said that "po" should be used as neutral vocabularies to use. This is to say "I listened to your point of view.I neither say yes nor no to it.

The word "Po is used. The whole possibility has changed." Qu is a man-made word, which Qiu Yihua found out from guesses or possibly from poems. It is a neutral term, without evaluation or derogation. No compliments, no promises.Neither for nor against. If someone is scolding you, just say "po".Then feel something different in your heart.Just one word can make such a big difference. When you say quite ". You're saying: I've heard what you said. Now I know that's how you feel about me. You may be right; you may be wrong. I'm not judging." Language creates distinctions.Even the big thinkers are constantly using language to create things that don't exist. If you ask them: what is spirit? "They said: It is not matter." If you ask them: what is matter? They say: it is not spiritual. It turns out that you don't understand matter.Nor do they understand the spirit. They define matter by spirit, and spirit by matter. And their origins remain unclear. It's absurd, but it sounds a lot more convincing than telling us I don't know, no one knows.

We feel at ease when we say that mind is not matter—as if we have defined something. We have defined nothing. We know neither the spirit nor the material, but to say I don't know is to dishearten the ego.As soon as we separate, we feel that we have mastered those things that we know nothing about. Ninety-nine percent of philosophy is created by language.Different languages create different types of philosophies, so if you change the language, the corresponding philosophies change. That is why philosophy cannot be translated.Science has always been translatable, but philosophy is not.Poetry is even more difficult to translate because it relies on a special freshness of language. As soon as you change its language, its charm is gone; the taste is gone. That Chen Dao belongs to a special arrangement of words, a special application of words. They cannot be translated. So the first thing to remember is: don't start with separation.Only in this way.You will get off to a good start.I don't mean to start with the concept "I am one".That was not what I meant. If so, you're starting with concepts again.Start with mere ignorance, with humble ignorance; only one premise: I don't know. You can say that the body and the mind are separate, or you can take the opposite position and you can say that I am one.Body and mind are one. "But this argument still presupposes a distinction. You say one, yet you feel two. In order to reject the feeling of two, you firmly say "one." This determination is again a subtle suppression. So don't start with advait - a nondual philosophy.Start with being, not concept.Start with deep, unconceptualized awareness. That's what I mean by right start.Begin to feel that there.Don't say one, don't say two, don't say this, don't say that.Begin to feel something exists.Only when the mind is not there, when the concept is not there, when the philosophy and the dogma are not there -- in fact, when the language is not there -- can you feel that there is anything there.when language is absent. You are in existence. When the language is there, you are in the mind. With a different language you have a different mind. There are so many languages in the world. Not only the language of language, but also the language of religion, the language of politics.A so-and-so was sitting next to me, and he wasn't with me at all.He lives in a different language. On the other side of me there may be someone who believes in karma. The so-and-so and this person have no contact with each other. They can't talk because they don't understand each other's language. They may be using the same words, but they Still can't understand what the other is saying. They live in different worlds. Because of language, everyone lives in a private world.Without language you belong to the common language - existence. This is what I mean by meditation: leaving the private world of words and entering a non-verbal existence. Those who separate body and mind are always against sex.The reason is that, often, sex is the only nonverbal, natural experience we know of.Sexuality requires no words at all.If you use language during intercourse, you can't get into it.So anyone who says you are not the body is against sex, because in sex you are not divided at all. Don't live in the world of language.Go deep into existence itself.use everything. But go back again and again to the non-verbal level, to the awareness level.Be with the trees, be with the birds, be with the sky, the sun, white clouds, rain and dew—live with non-verbal existence anytime, anywhere. The more you do this, the deeper you go into it, the more you experience a One that is not opposed to Two; that One is not a simple union of two parts, but a wholeness of continents and islands , Under the sea, the island is connected to the mainland. These two parts are always one. You 2 see them as two parts because you only see them from the surface. Language is the surface.Language of all types—religious, political—is on the surface. When you live with the non-verbal being, you discover a subtle "one" that is not a mathematical one but an existential one. So don't try to play these language games "Body and mind are separate; body and mind are one -" Throw them away! They're fun, but useless. They don't bring any results.Even if you find some truths in it, they are just truths of language. What are you going to learn from them? This game your mind has played for thousands of years, but it is childish; games in any language are childish. It doesn't matter how serious you play it.You are used to finding many things to support your position, many meanings, but it is just a game.As far as everyday work is concerned, language is useful; but you cannot rely on it to go deeper.Because these domains are non-verbal. Language is just a game.If you find some relationship between language and non-language, it is not because you have discovered some important secret, no.You can find many seemingly important relationships, but they have no real meaning. They exist because your mind created them unconsciously. No matter where you go, the human mind is basically the same, so everything produced by the human mind is often very similar. For example, the word mother happens to be similar in every language. Not because it has any meaning, but because the sound "ma" is the easiest sound for every child to make.Once you have pronunciation, you can create different words, but pronunciation is just pronunciation. The child is just pronouncing the sound ma, but you hear it as a word. Sometimes we are able to discover a resemblance that is purely coincidental. "god" and "dog" are the opposite. It's just a coincidence. But we find it makes sense, because in our consciousness, a dog is something low. Then we say God It should be the opposite of this. This is our interpretation. It is also possible that we created the word "dog" in order to oppose God.Then give this name to all dogs. The two are not related at all, but if you can create a relationship between them, it will make sense to you. You can go on drawing similarities from anything. You can create an ocean of words that contains infinite similarities.Take the word monkey for example. You can play around with the word. Then find out some relations, but before Darwin, this was impossible.Because we now know that humans evolved from monkeys, we can play language games. We can say that the monkey is the man-key: the key to man. Others connect the two terms in another way. They say that the relationship between monkeys and humans is due to their brains; humans have a monkey-like mind. So, you can create a lot of relationships and enjoy them, and you might think it's a good game, but a game is a game. One must remember this.Otherwise you don't know what is real and what is just drama. You will go crazy. The deeper you go into the text, the more relationships you discover.Then.With just a few tricks and variations, you can create a whole philosophy out of it.Many people are doing this.Even Ram Dass (RamLha) is very good at it.That's the way he's playing with the word monkey; that's the way he's comparing "God" and "dogs." Enjoy it, enjoy it then - but don't be fooled by it. And you are likely to be fooled by it before. This kind of drama can be very engrossing and you will keep following it. Waste a lot of energy. people think.Because there are so many similarities between languages, there must be an original language. All other languages are derived from this language. But these similarities exist. Not because there is a common language; they exist because human minds are similar.Disappointed people all over the world utter the same voice; people in love all over the world utter the same voice. The basic resemblance between people forms a resemblance in our language. But don't take it too seriously.Because once serious, you can get lost in it.Even if you find some important root, it is meaningless, irrelevant. For a spiritual seeker, that is off topic. Our mind is like this; when we are going to seek something. We always have a preconceived notion that we start with.If I think Zhang Wang is bad, then I will keep finding all kinds of evidence to support my thesis, and finally I will prove myself right. In this way, whenever I meet a Johnny, I start to find fault, and no one can say that I am wrong, because I have evidence. Someone may come to the same person with the opposite view.If Zhang Wang means a good man to him, then the same Zhang San can find evidence of "rape".Good and bad are not opposites; they exist simultaneously.Man can be any of these, so whatever you look for in him you will find.In some cases he is good, in some cases he is bad. When you judge him, it depends more on your interpretation than the situation itself. It depends on how you look at this or that. For example, if you think smoking is bad, then it becomes bad.If you think manners are particularly bad, then it becomes bad.If we sit here. While we're talking, someone falls asleep, and if you think that's bad, it's bad, but in reality, nothing is good; nothing is bad either.Someone with a different attitude will think the same thing is good. He'll think it's good if someone lays down and falls asleep among friends and he feels free to do so.So, it depends on your attitude. I once read some of the experiments Neil (AS Nellll) did at his school, Summerhill High School. He experimented with this new type of school in which complete freedom was allowed. He is the principal. But the school has no rules and regulations. One day, a teacher was sick, so he said to the students. No disturbance to the teachers was allowed that night. But at night, the students started fighting next door to the patient.Neil went upstairs. When the children heard that someone was coming, they immediately refused to come and started to do their homework.Neil looked in from the window. There was a boy pretending to sleep.I looked up and saw him standing by the window. He said to the others, "It's none other than Neil. Hey, don't stop. It's just Neil." And they started fighting again. And Neil is their principal! Neil wrote: "I'm so happy they weren't scared of me at all, they were able to say, 'Don't worry. That's just Neil. "He thought it was fine, but no other headteacher did. No other headteacher! Never in history! So, it's up to you, how you interpret it.Neil felt that was love, but again, that was his interpretation. We always find what we are looking for.Whatever you're looking for in the world, if you're serious about looking, you can find it. So don't start with a mind that is attached, looking for something.Just get started! An inquiring mind is not looking for something. But just looking.Just looking, no preconceived ideas, no explicit looking.Usually we discover things because we are looking for them. The moral of the story of the Batongtian Tower in the Bible is this: as soon as you speak, you are divided. The story is not about people starting to speak a different language, it's about them actually speaking, and the moment you start speaking, you're out of your mind.As soon as you speak, you are divided and only silence is complete. Many lifetimes are wasted looking for things.Once you get serious about something, you can easily waste your life, playing with words is very self-satisfying, and you can waste your life on it.Even if it's fun -- a good, enjoyable game -- it's of no use to a spiritual seeker.Spiritual exploration is not a game. Playing with numbers is the same game. You can create relationships. You can figure out why there are seven days in a week, seven notes, seven planets, and seven celestial bodies. Why are there always seven? Then you can build up a philosophy about seven, but that philosophy is just a product of your imagination. Sometimes the origins of things are quite simple.for example. The origin of counting. The only reason there are nine numbers is that people have ten fingers.Everywhere in the world, the first counting happens on the fingers. So we choose to use ten as the boundary.Ten is enough, because you can continue to repeat. So there are nine numbers anywhere in the world. Once Yimujiu has been determined, it is difficult for you to imagine how to use numbers more than nine or less than nine to perform calculations.Of course, less than nine can be used.Nine is just a habit.Leibniz R uses three numbers: 1, 2 and any problem can be solved with three numbers, just like nine numbers.Einstein used only two numbers; 1 and 2.Then the counting becomes: 1.2, 10, 11 - it seems to us that there is a gap of "eight" between them, but that gap does not exist; it is only in our mind. We have a fixed attitude that 2 must be followed by 3.There is no such thing as inevitable. But it confuses us.We think that 2 plus 2 always thinks 4, but there is no inherent necessity in this.If you use a two-number system, then 2 plus 2 is 11.But then 11 and 4" mean the same thing. You can say two chairs plus two chairs make four chairs, or you can say they make eleven chairs, but whatever number you decide to use system, the actual number of chairs is the same. You can find the reason for everything—why seven days a week and why a woman's menstrual cycle is twenty-eight days. Why are there seven notes in the scale and why are there seven planets. And, there may indeed be a reason behind certain things. For example, the word menstruation means a month, and it is possible that people initially calculated months based on women's menstrual cycles.Because women's natural cycle is a fixed period of time: eighteen days of work. This is an easy way to know when a month has passed.By the time your wife starts menstruating, one month has passed. Alternatively, you can also calculate months based on the moon. But then the time period we call Z ~ months becomes thirty days. The moon is full for 15 days, and it is short for 15 days, so it takes 30 days to complete the ~week. We determine the month according to the moon, so we say that there are thirty days in a month. But if you determine it according to Venus or according to the menstrual cycle. It has twenty-eight days.To smooth out this difference, you can divide the cycle of twenty-eight days and think in terms of seven-day weeks.Then.Once this division is fixed in the mind, other things will automatically happen one after another. That's what I mean: everything has its own logic.Once you have the pattern of seven days and one week, you can find many other patterns of seven, and seven becomes a meaningful number, a rich and huge number. It is not.Either the whole of life is qualitative, or nothing is.It becomes a game of pure imagination. You can play around with these things and there will be a lot of coincidences. The world is so big, so infinite, with so many things happening every second, it is bound to have coincidences. Those coincidences began to pile up and finally came up with such a long list, Tsukuru was overwhelmed by it.So you wonder; "Why is there always seven? There's some mystery to it. The mystery is just your mind seeing the coincidences and trying to explain it logically." Gurdierev said that man is the food of the moon. This is perfectly logical. It shows the stupidity of logic.Since everything in life is food for something else, Gurdjiev still had a highly inventive idea: human beings are food for something. In this way. "What food is man? It becomes a question of logic. It is impossible for the sun to eat man, because sunlight is food for other things, food for plants.Man should be on a lower rung than other species. However, this is impossible, because man is the highest animal-according to himself. Therefore, man cannot be the food of the sun. The way the moon connects us is subtle. But not in the way Gurdjieff said.It is delicately linked to the waist of women's menstrual cycle. It has something to do with the tides and the ebb and flow of sea water. At the time of the full moon. There seemed to be a little more madness than usual. This is where the word lunatic comes from; lunar, the moon. Gurdierev, the head fat man who has always hypnotized the moon, said; "Man must be the food of the moon, because food can be hypnotized by the eater. Animals, especially snakes, first hypnotize their victims. They become dumb, So much so that they can be eaten by snakes. This is another coincidence that Gurdierev played with. Those poets, lunatics, aesthetes, thinkers are hypnotized by the moon. There must be something. Man must be a kind of food. You can play around with this idea. With an imaginative mind like Gurdjiev's, things keep falling into logical patterns.Gurdjiev was a genius at being able to put things in such a way that they seemed logical, made sense, made sense, no matter how absurd they were.He first assumes that the theory is true, and then his imagination can find many connections, many evidences. The creator of every system distorts and proves his thesis with logic.Every creator! Those who want to stay with the truth cannot create systems.Let's say I could never create a system because, in my opinion, the very end of the effort is wrong. What I say can only be broken and incomplete. There are cracks, cracks that cannot be joined. With me, you have to jump from one point to another. Creating systems is easy because those gaps can be filled with imagination. This way the whole thing becomes very clean and logical. However, while it tends to logic. It is getting farther and farther away from the source of existence. The more you know, the more you feel that there are many irreparable rifts.Existence can never be consistent, never can be.The system must be consistent, but the existence of this county is never consistent. So, there was never any system that could explain it. Wherever people create systems to explain existence - in India, in Greece. In China - he's all about creating games. If you accept the first step as true, the whole system will run smoothly, but if you don't accept the first step. The whole building will collapse. The entire building is an exercise in imagination. It's good poetic, beautiful. However, once the system insists that what it says about existence is the absolute truth, it becomes violent and destructive. These systems of truth are poetry. They are beautiful, but they are just poetry. Many cracks have been filled by imagination. Gurdierev pointed out some fragments of truth, but it was not so easy to fit a theory on one or two fragments, so he collected many fragments. Then he tries to put these pieces together into a complete system. He started filling those cracks. However, the more the cracks are filled, the more it will be distorted. In the end, because of the gaps that were filled. The whole system fell apart. A person who is intoxicated by the personality of a teacher may not find many holes in his theory, while those who are not intoxicated see holes but not fragments of truth. For his followers.Buddha is a Buddha.Just a man who is enlightened -- yet to other people he is a man who causes confusion, because they see only loopholes. If you add all the loopholes together. It becomes destructive. But if you add all the pieces together. It can become the basis of your transformation. Truth is necessarily fragmentary. It is so infinite that you can never reach its wholeness with a finite mind.If you keep trying to achieve its wholeness, you will lose your mind, you will transform your mind. But if you're going to create a system, you'll never lose your head, because then your head will plug those holes. The system becomes polished; it becomes touching, plausible, understandable, but nothing more. And something more is needed: that power, that energy that transforms you.But that power can only come from intermittent glimpses. The mind has created so many systems, so many methods. It thinks if I give up my present life.Something deeper will be found. This is ridiculous. But the mind goes on thinking, where in Tibet, where in Meru Pravat. That "real thing" is definitely happening. The mind struggles: how to get there? How can I get in touch with the masters who work there? The mind is always looking for something elsewhere, never for something here and now.The mind is never here. And every theory is intriguing: that real thing is happening at Meirushan!Go there, contact the master there, and you will be transformed. " Don't fall prey to these things.Even if they have certain grounds, don't fall for them.Maybe someone told you something true, but you were attracted to it for the wrong reasons. What is real is here and now; it is with you.Just commit to yourself.Even if a person has traveled to every Meiru mountain, he must return to himself to pick it.In the end, a person discovered that Mega Mountain is here, and Tibet is here; here.inside me.And I've been wandering around— The more reasonable the system is, the easier it is to collapse, and unreasonable things will inevitably be introduced. And as soon as you bring in unreasonable elements, the mind starts to shatter. So, don't worry about the system.Just jump into the here and now.
