content summary. Clear mind and see nature and the three kayas. Lu Chunyang and Huang Longnan. important food. Unable to get and go. Abdication in the setting. Now view and the amount of holy teaching. Answer students' questions: Seeing the nature with a clear mind is to see the Dharmakaya; to cultivate to the perfection of the six senses, the three bodies and four wisdoms, the thirty-two signs, and the eighty kinds of virtues is the completion of the sambhogakaya. As for the billions and billions of incarnations, it is the achievement of incarnations. Many Zen masters have seen the dharmakaya, but they may not have achieved sambhogakaya. Before the twenty-eight patriarchs in India, and before the fifth and sixth patriarchs in China, there were some who achieved the three kayas, but after the sixth patriarch, there were few who achieved the three kayas.I mentioned Master Yuji's previous life before, but that has nothing to do with the three bodies of Dharma, retribution, and transformation.Ordinary people who have attained samadhi can manifest yin spirits, but yin spirits are not dharmakaya, so they are still in the realm of delusion, or the realm of karma. The fourth dhyana can be done to release the yin spirit, and the first dhyana can also be done.

Arhats can come in and out through the keyhole, which is supernatural power, and has nothing to do with Dharma, retribution, or incarnation.Has Milarepa attained the three kayas? (The teacher does not answer.) This is like Jigong Living Buddha, who is still in the realm of a great arhat, is in the realm of independent enlightenment, and is not yet in the realm of a great bodhisattva. A person who realizes the Tao through seeing his nature clearly obtains fundamental wisdom, but not necessarily differential wisdom. It is really not easy to be able to see the self-nature, to be able to use the self-nature, and to be able to fulfill all merits and virtues.

If you want to live a long and healthy life, you should pay attention to study Lu Chunyang's hundred-character inscription. Lu Chunyang was enlightened by Zen Buddhism. Later, he was ordered by the Patriarch Huang Longnan to be the guardian of Buddhism forever.Because Lu Chunyang did not get fame in the exam, he later had a dream of Huangliang, and he became a monk after waking up.He practiced Taoism and was very famous between the end of Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties. He practiced very high qigong, and he can fly in the air. His two famous poems: "There is a treasure in the dantian to seek the way, and don't ask Zen if you have no mind in the environment." If ordinary people can do this, health and longevity are no problem. Illness prolongs life, and immortality can also be achieved.Of course, the practice methods in these two poems have many meanings.

Once, flying with his sword, he passed Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi Province, where there was a big temple, which was the Huanglong Temple of Zen Buddhism. When Lu Chunyang flew over at high altitude, he saw that the weather of this mountain was different, so there must be someone who is superior. He came down and saw that it was Huanglong Temple. Someone was giving a lecture, and it was Zen Master Huanglongnan, the great virtue of the Linji sect.He stood by and watched for a long time, feeling very strange, this Zen master didn't shine, didn't move the ground, and he didn't have the same ability as him, he was just an ordinary monk! Why do so many people listen to him?The more you look at it, the weirder it is, standing next to it.Zen Master Huang Longnan stopped speaking, and said: "Someone in the seat is stealing the Dharma", thinking that someone is eavesdropping.Lu Chunyang didn't like this and stood up. Huang Longnan asked him who he was, and he gave his name. Huang Longnan said: Oh!It turned out to be you, I thought you were great, but it turned out to be just a ghoul. (This body can live forever, keep it firmly.) When Lu Chunyang heard this, he became angry. A real person can have the medicine of immortality. What are you, a mortal womb!Huang Longnan said: "For eighty thousand kalpas, Mr. Rao, you will end up in vain." Lu Chunyang was annoyed, he raised his sleeve, and the flying sword went out, deliberately scaring the old monk, but he didn't know that the flying sword stopped in front of the old monk, but instead He turned to kill himself. He was surprised, this old monk is an ordinary person, and he has no kung fu, why doesn't my sword obey my command?Later, some people devoted themselves to this Huatou. Is it Wei Tuo Dharma protector?Or the power of Huang Longnan Prajna?or other reasons? What is the reason?

Huang Longnan smiled and said: "Don't put on such a trick, you just said that you have real skills, let me ask you, what reason do you see?" Lu Chunyang said: "The world is hidden in a grain of millet, and mountains and rivers are boiled in a half-pan pot."Huang Longnan said: "I don't ask you how to cook mountains and rivers, but how to hide the world in a grain of millet?" In this way, after a few moves to the east and west, Lu Chunyang became enlightened and wrote a poem: Abandon the gourd bag and smash the piano. Now I don't love gold in mercury.

Ever since I saw Huanglong. I feel that I have made mistakes in the past. At that time, Lu Chunyang came out of Taoism, which was equivalent to a sixth patriarch of Zen.How to cultivate health and longevity, you can refer to Lu Chunyang's hundred-character inscription. At this time, the best things of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism are also the best things for learning Buddhism. Hundred-character inscription: "Cultivate Qi and forget to keep words, lower your heart to do what you can't do, know your ancestors in movement and stillness, and look for whom to look for when you have nothing to do. You must always respond to things, and you must not be confused by things. Don't be confused by nature and live on your own. The qi returns to the alchemy itself, the pot is matched with the ridge, the yin and yang are repeated, and there is a thunder, the white clouds are on the top, the nectar is sprinkled on the sumeru, and the longevity wine is drunk, who will know it, sit and listen to the music without strings, and understand the good fortune If you don’t have a chance, come to twenty sentences, and you can go up the ladder.”

Cultivating qi is also the real kung fu of cultivating in-and-out breathing in the ten thoughts method.Subduing the mind comes from the Diamond Sutra: "subdue one's mind", do not do it, if you intend to lower your mind, you will get a sign, the self-nature is empty, so do not do it, the view and kung fu have told us.The two sentences of movement and stillness have put the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's perfect penetration method into it, "moving and stillness are two phenomena, and there is no clearness", but you are not drowsy or distracted. When dealing with people, if you don't violate your nature, it's all about kung fu here.Don't do any kung fu, the mind and qi are united, the mind and matter are united, the real thoughts are empty, "the qi returns to itself", and the qi will naturally stop and the pulse will stop, reaching the second and third dhyana.

The Dan mentioned here does not mean that there is really something in the stomach. The ancient Taoists described that the Dan is like the moon, and the point in the middle of the circle represents a little awareness of perfection, self-consciousness and clarity. The pot represents the body, and one's own Qi channels play a role in changing. As long as the Qi stays and the pulse stops, it will naturally change. After a long period of time, there will be a "generalization of thunder", and with a bang, all the Qi channels in the body will be opened. At this time, as Zhuangzi said, "communicate with the spirit of heaven and earth", and become one with the universe, the central channel here is truly opened. "White clouds are facing upwards", this is the true empowerment of Tantric Buddhism, the empowerment of the wisdom and light of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. "Sumeru" refers to the head, and the big joy wheel on the head is opened. At this time, immortality is absolutely possible, and this is the number one method in the world. "No Strings" means that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva "enters samadhi through hearing, thinking and practicing".

These twenty sentences, five characters in one sentence, have a total of one hundred characters, so they are called Baiziming. These twenty sentences start with ordinary people, cultivate to immortality, and even transcend the ordinary to become holy, and they are all finished.Every sentence is kung fu and insight. For example, at the beginning everyone can decide, why can't we do it?It’s just that the first sentence can’t be fulfilled: “Cultivate Qi and forget words and keep it”, if there is no delusion in the cultivation of Qi, who can do it?There are so many thoughts that I can't keep them.

"Calm down and do nothing" is even more impossible, this cannot be done, let alone the following words. There is still a little shadow when meditating in silence, but there is nothing when you sit down, and you can't know your ancestors at all.It is very important to know the ancestors in movement and stillness, and the heart is in silence all day long. If there is nothing to do, who can do it?The spiritual awareness is always there, and the qi will return naturally. It is not asking us to do kung fu.Dan "self" knot, it is natural, it is inherent in our life. Don't look at this hundred-character inscription with the concept of religious boundaries. He was originally the great protector of Zen Buddhism and one of Huang Longnan's true disciples. If you want to live a long and healthy life, it is absolutely enough to do what he said.

Now continue to talk about the yogi's ground theory, and the part about the practice of concentration, we talked about last time: "What does it mean to dwell? It is said that good grasping can enter all samadhis, and all behaviors and appearances. Because of good grasping, one can live in samadhi according to one's desire. In samadhi, there is no return to loss. If you live in samadhi like this , if you don’t retreat and lose, both of them will live in fame.” What's the call?First, you must choose a method that is suitable for your root device. In the same way, due to different root karma, the adaptability is also different. In other words, choose the method that is suitable for your body and mind, and it is easy to enter the state of samadhi.Because of "being good at taking that reason", being good at grasping a method, "following one's own desires", entering whichever state one wants to enter, one can enter that state. And you can maintain it without retreating, this is called meditation.Entering the state of samadhi without turning back is called "sustaining samadhi". "What does it mean to go out? It means that if there is one who can enter into the samadhi of the formations and appearances, he no longer thinks about them. He distinguishes the physical appearance in the indeterminate place, and the different types of dharmas in the fixed place, and he makes the mind and leaves samadhi. Or the cause of what you do, or the cause of what you do, it comes out of samadhi. Follow the author, it is called repairing the mantle and other things. There is a pre-established term contract, maybe he should do something for him. Or it is the desire to transfer into the remaining samadhi, and through this cause and condition, one will emerge from samadhi. " What is a decision? When you are in the state of samadhi, you don't have any discriminating thoughts, but suddenly a thought comes, where does this thought come from?I can't even find it out, and suddenly I have a thought, which is the opposite of the state of samadhi. In other words, when this thought comes, it destroys the samadhi, and this thought is "making thoughts".This power is very powerful, and it is called mind in the five kasina, which arouses your thoughts. Why do thoughts come? There are several reasons for this: "You can do whatever you want for a reason." It should be noted that the real practice is to pay attention to the discipline, that is, the psychological behavior, the usual behaviors, things, and speeches.Because the causes of sowing are different, you may not be able to get the fruit of samadhi;Sometimes we have afflictions physically and mentally, so we cannot settle down.Karma has not been eliminated, and concentration cannot be attained. This is "whatever happens for a reason". "Maybe to determine the reason for what you do", the method and purpose of the determination are wrong. For example, if you catch a cold today, when you first start sitting, you want to get rid of the cold. This motivational concept is the cause of concentration. Although there is such a small difference, the effect is very different. "Maybe what you do for a reason", period is hope. For example, some people meditate and subconsciously hope that as long as I meditate, my body will be healthy. Some people are clairvoyant; some people pretend to meditate with their legs crossed, and feel comfortable in their fantasy. So the cause is different, the result is different. "And out of samadhi", any of these factors can make you go out of samadhi. "Cultivating the mantle and other work" is an example given by Maitreya Bodhisattva. Some people are in the middle of the meditation, all right, and suddenly a thought comes, a piece of clothing is torn, let's sit down and get two stitches!Or forgetting something, suddenly remembering it, and then regretting that it was wrong, sitting there thinking about it and messing around.Maitreya Bodhisattva's phrase "Cultivate clothing, body and other activities" includes everything. The following "eat and drink, serve as a teacher" is also the reason why you can't get samadhi or get out of samadhi. "First set up a contract" means that some people don't need an alarm clock to sleep, and when they have something to do tomorrow, they will wake up at what time. This is the effect of mind karma. "What kind of action is it? It means doing all kinds of actions according to the object, and then entering into concentration." The object is like reciting the Buddha's name, Taoism's keeping the orifice, Tantric meditation, and so on.From the consciousness-only point of view, the object is the intention, which is specially created by the consciousness. The method of personal object is different, and enter into concentration. "Called rough conduct", if you feel that the burden in this world is too heavy, you can't bear this burden, and you really want to leave. "Walk quietly", especially in the industrial and commercial era, life is busy all day long, and I really want to be quiet and rest. "Disease", birth, old age, sickness and death, etc. "Carbuncle", seeing that everything in the world is dirty, seems to have a malignant sore. "Arrow line", as ruthless as a poisoned arrow. "Impermanence", feeling that everything is impermanent and so on. It is because of these concepts that we strive to cultivate the Tao. "If there are all kinds of actions in the samadhi, what kind of appearance is it? It is said that when the samadhis approach and want to enter, there will be this samadhi appearance first. From this appearance, he will know himself, I am like this, this is like this. Definitely, you will enter soon, or you will return to regular entry." Based on the previous various psychological concepts, the state of concentration is different from each other. You need to be clear about the situation of these samadhis. This is called teaching. The sect is different from the sect. The sect adopts one method, one goes deep into it, and then we can talk about it after entering.Teaching is the same as learning science from elementary school, middle school to university. First study the theory clearly, and then go to the laboratory to do experiments. The teacher told us: "What is the appearance of all the behaviors in the samadhi of the other party?" In theory, we must first understand, what is the status quo?Once the theory is clear, once you put it down, you can be clear about your practice and kung fu, and you can enter samadhi knowing your current situation.Sometimes I feel that today's physical and mental condition does not correspond to the method of reciting the Buddha's name, so I need to know the time and measure, or do visualization and so on.Therefore, to learn Buddhism, one must learn eighty-four thousand ways.Sometimes you feel that your body and mind are not right, and you can use the ten-recitation method to recite the breath, and you will be right.I usually teach a lot of methods to everyone, so you need to know how to use them at the right time. After studying the theory thoroughly, if you want to know when you can enter which kind of samadhi, you can use the methods you know. "He knows it by himself", people who have studied the principles thoroughly, with their legs crossed or not, as long as they stand, they know that they can enter a certain state of samadhi at this time. So it’s not just doing kung fu. Just doing kung fu is often a blind practice, and you don’t know what kind of samadhi you have reached. Some people are not right to focus on Buddhism, and if they don't cooperate with it, what's the use of becoming ideological and academic? "Professor, because of this, he also understands that if he does not enter, he should enter such a state." Because of the guidance of a master, sometimes as long as he sees your situation, he will know what kind of samadhi you can enter, and he will teach you which method to practice, and you can enter immediately. Therefore, teachers and guides should not only have their own understanding and know other people's talents, but also take into account the individual's physical and mental conditions, and teach them the most appropriate method. In this section, Maitreya Bodhisattva tells us how to enter samadhi, stay in samadhi, and come out of samadhi. "What is phase?" What is phase? The modern concept is called phenomenon, situation, or state. "There are two kinds of appearances: one is the appearance of the object, and the other is the appearance of the cause." For example, reciting the Buddha's name, stopping and contemplating, visualizing, cultivating qi, and cultivating the pulse, etc., are the appearance of the object. The second aspect of karma, for example, Zen master Xue Yanqin, worked so hard, but still couldn’t get enlightened. Once he suddenly came under a pine tree, looked at the pine tree in front of him, and realized it. This is the aspect of karma. "The object is called the body of discrimination. Because of this, one can enter the samadhi." When starting to practice the Dharma, you use the mind of discrimination, but you always use your consciousness. How can you practice without consciousness! You say: I don’t want any thoughts, cultivate no thoughts. That is also the consciousness cultivating no-thought!That's why Lu Chunyang said, "Let's not do anything." This is the truth from doing something to doing nothing. "Those who relate to karma and condition are called samadhi, and through this karma, one can enter all samadhis." Capital is needed to practice samadhi and kung fu, and Buddhism is called samadhi. To learn Buddhism, you must have two types of accumulation: wisdom accumulation and merit accumulation.Especially for those who study Tantric Buddhism, accumulation is very important.Fifty-five bodhisattvas, ten beliefs, ten residences and ten devotion, etc., all belong to merit.Capital food is not available, what do you use to repair it! Without wisdom, the teachings are not well understood, and wisdom accumulation is not enough. The merits and accumulations are the blessings, and the blessings are not enough. When you are about to meditate, the phone calls, and someone in the family is sick, you don’t even have the blessings to meditate and rest.I just wanted to get on the track, and I spared time to work hard. The east side was on fire, and the west side was smoldering. Tried and tested. If you don't do kung fu, you can do nothing; if you do kung fu, you can do anything, and practice is rewarded with great blessings. Fame and wealth in the world are hard to come by, but there is another blessing that is even more difficult to find, that is, pure blessing, which cannot be obtained without practicing hard for many lifetimes.I can enjoy a second of pure happiness a day, and I feel infinite respect and infinite fear in my heart, because this is the blessing of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Cultivating concentration first requires acquisition of merit. There are a few people here who have studied Buddhism and Taoism for many years, and the theory is first-class;Not at all, no time to meditate, think about it for yourself, is it not enough merit? "It is said to follow the teachings and teachings of samadhi, accumulate the merits of all samadhis, practice all the practices, desire to be tired of suffering from the heart, and judge the truth without chaos." Maitreya Bodhisattva prescribes merits - merit and wisdom. The first step in learning Buddhism is to seek perfection. If you don't have this, you don't even want to succeed in cultivating the Tao, and you are not even qualified to meditate. Why do you say you are not eligible? The first one is that I want to practice pure and free from chaos, I know it very well, but the blessings are not enough, if you don’t disturb others, they can come to disturb your practice. "Don't be annoyed by him." If your merits are not enough, he will come to annoy you. "It may be done by humans, or it may be done by non-humans, or it may be done by sound, or it may be done by function." In fact, whether it is an external demon or an internal demon, they are all created by the mind. The kung fu is too exacting, and the magic realm is created by oneself, which is the result of gongfu. In other words, there are no demons, everything is created by one's own inner demons. "How do you regulate goodness? If you say that samadhi is still held by the practice, like water being held, or held by the nature of dharma, it is not quiet and wonderful. , this samadhi is not called tuning goodness." Pay attention to this paragraph, what is kindness? It is what Zeng Zi said in the university: "The way of the university lies in the clear virtue, in being close to the people, and in ending in the ultimate good." This is the best comment on the ultimate good.In the state of samadhi, there is still "constraints for doing things" in your heart, for example, there is still a thought of cultivating the Tao in your heart. This thought has already tied your mind. Obsessed and bound by this notion. It is equal to "being held like water". When water is poured into a teacup, its realm is only a little bit as big as a teacup. If we pour a glass of water into the sea, look how big the realm of water is! What is "detained by the law-nature"?Zen books, Tantric books, these Buddhist books, you read too much, those theories will catch you, your mind will be full of Buddhist studies, your mouth will be full of Buddhist activities, and your body will be full of Buddha oil, Buddha demons, this is the words of Maitreya Bodhisattva, " Detained by the law."As a result, the mind cannot be single-minded, it cannot be calmed down, and it is impossible to achieve the one-pointedness of the mind at all. These are not good, and cannot harmonize the state of mind. And so on, you must do your own research. So many handouts have been distributed, why explain things here and there? In order not to make you feel dependent, I can only focus on the key points, and you have to see the rest by yourself and continue to study. "Furthermore, as it is said in the sutras of distinguishing meditation, those who have meditation, that is, Yu Xing and others call it decline, and even widely said that there are four turns in this, and you should know that the second is reversed." From the first meditation to the fourth meditation, there are two states. A reversal will occur. The Buddha also made this analogy: Someone asked the Buddha why it was effective at the beginning, but it became more and more difficult later on?Buddha said: Have you ever seen someone dig a well?At the beginning of digging, it is easy to see the effect. As soon as the mud is dug out, it is picked away very quickly. When the digging is ten feet deep, there is still not a basket of mud dug in two or three days, and the effect appears to be very slow. Actually the effect is the same, it's just darker. Many people also feel this way when they do kung fu, but they feel that they have not made any progress after doing kung fu. This can only mean that they have no wisdom, observation is not clear, and teachings have not been studied clearly. In fact, you are progressing, progressing to another state, and you can’t observe it yourself. Therefore, learning Buddhism and Taoism requires wisdom everywhere. What does it mean to study Buddhism and cultivate Taoism? It's that simple to study and examine yourself for a lifetime.A hero can conquer the world, but not himself; a sage only wants to conquer himself, not the world. It is easy to conquer the world, but difficult to conquer yourself, so it is said that it is difficult for a sage to learn.A sage is a person who examines himself, introspects himself, and studies himself all his life.If someone learns from a sage, but studies and observes others all day long, then he is exempted from learning, and he is a "leftover".Cultivation requires self-examination in these places. From the first meditation to the second meditation, although there is progress, there seems to be a kind of degeneration between the progress, which is equivalent to a darker moment before dawn.Similarly, when you are about to turn clear, there may be a period of drowsiness coming, but in fact it will definitely come. When you have passed this drowsy stage, clarity will come out.Theoretically speaking, it is clear and bright, and it is also dull, because the reason is not recognized, only clear and clear, not drowsy, I think I have regressed, and I have fallen into the magic barrier. If you think you fall into a demon barrier, the demon will come. What I want to talk about now is the abdication in the samadhi.Generally speaking, if kung fu regresses, in fact there is no such thing as regressing, especially according to Chinese culture, one can understand this truth after learning the Book of Changes, and feel that regressing is just a change of line. Nothing in the world remains the same, it must change.People and things, everything in the universe, physics and psychology are all changing at any time and everywhere. If they remain unchanged, they are not called cosmic phenomena. So there is no realm that will last forever and remain unchanged.Ordinary people do not understand this principle and want to keep a state unchanged, that is called ignorance. The Chinese Book of Changes is called "change", and Buddhism is called "impermanence", meaning the same.Impermanence refers to the status quo of its conclusion. All status quo in the world does not exist forever, so it is called impermanence. The Chinese Book of Changes does not take this line, but calls it "change". Change does not refer to phenomena, but principles. There is a principle in everything in the world, that is, changes must be made.Knowing this principle, the first-class people lead the change and know how to change next. Because the world is bound to change, so when doing kung fu practice, you must also recognize this clearly. In other words, people who practice kung fu know that this state must be changed, and a person with high wisdom and prajna will know how to change in the next step. The summary of the yogi's theory has probably ended here, and now we will talk about the solemn theory of present visualization. The book The Adornment of Viewing is also included in Maitreya Bodhisattva's knowledge system, and it is one of Maitreya Bodhisattva's five major treatises. Those who study Dharma and Consciousness-only, especially those who study Esoteric Buddhism and Zen Buddhism, must study it.In the early days, this classic was not translated. When Master Xuanzang went to India to learn Buddhist scriptures, he brought back the Sanskrit text. Before he could translate it, he passed away. The Sanskrit text was also lost. Only Tibet still has this book. It was translated by Master Fa Zun in the early years of the Republic of China. into Chinese. In terms of doing kung fu, "present view" is the method of stopping and observing in the present state.Quantitative Realm is the term of Consciousness-Only Studies, Consciousness-only is divided into Quantity, Quantity, and Non-quantity.The present is presented; the quantity is the realm and the status quo. This volume word is translated brilliantly. Our entire universe, mountains, rivers, and land are all manifestations of Alaya consciousness. The present quantity is just presented, there is no distinction in the middle, and the present quantity is directly presented. For example, the manifestation of our consciousness is the state of "no-thought" often mentioned by the Sixth Patriarch of Zen, which is the most important preliminary phenomenon of the sixth consciousness. Therefore, the three-time support is the clear and clear thought of the conscious mind, without distracting thoughts or delusions. For example, when we wake up in the morning, before our eyes are opened, there is no thought in our mind, neither anger nor happiness. The moment we just wake up, that is the present amount of consciousness. All of a sudden, I woke up, what time is it?When you have to go to work, etc., the awareness of separation arises. This separation consciousness is called comparison. All delusions, thinking, and distinctions are measured.Non-quantity is the realm of fantasy, the realm of mental state. In addition, there is another sacred teaching, which is what everyone thinks in their minds when they study Buddhism and practice Taoism. For example, how to achieve samadhi! How to become enlightened and see one's nature clearly!Wisdom! These concepts are holy teachings. It was taught by the sages, and if you accept it, you will have this thought. So if you know Buddhism, no matter how good the theory is, it is only the amount of holy teaching. This principle is the principle of the Buddha, not yours, and you are not a Buddha. What about now? There is a saying in Zen: the former thought does not arise, the later thought does not arise, and the thought is empty. This is "present view". Contemplating Prajna, contemplation is pure, but this contemplation is only one aspect of contemplating emptiness, and the wonderful existence caused by vacuum is another matter. The principle of the wonderful existence of vacuum is included in the practice of the solemn view of meditation, but it pays great attention to the four preliminaries.
