The source of enlightenment is that God has no way and Yi has no body, that is, there is no limit. Confucius has already said it, and Zhou Zi’s acquisition of the sage is undoubtedly passed on. The sage of the husband is based on one. One, there is no desire There are roughly two kinds of human desires: the high ones are concealed by opinions; It is auspicious; villainous people have many desires, so they are evil when they are against it. How good or bad is good or bad depends on whether the extreme is established or not. " 三十五年丙辰二月,提学御史赵镗修建复初书院,祀先生。 书院在广德州治。初邹守益谪判广德,创建书院,置赡田,以延四方来学。率其徒濮汉、施天爵过越,见师而还。复初之会,遂振不息。后汉、天爵出宦游,是会兴复不常者二十年。至洪、畿主水西会,往来广德,诸生张槐、黄中、李天秩等邀会五十人,过必与停骖信宿。是年,汉、天爵致政归,知州庄士元、州判何光裕,申镗复大修书院,设师位,以岁修祀事。 五月,湖广兵备佥事沈宠建仰止祠于崇正书院,祀先生。 书院在蕲州麒麟山。宠与州守同门谷钟秀建书院,以合州之选士,讲授师学。是年,与乡大夫顾问、顾阙,迎洪于水西。诸生钟沂、史修等一百十人有奇,合会于立诚堂。宠率州守首举祀事。属洪撰《仰止祠记》。其略曰:“二三子,尔知天下有不因世而异,不以地而隔,不为形而拘者,非良知之谓乎?夫子于诸生,世异地隔形疏,而愿祠而祀之,尸而祝之,非以良知潜通于其间乎?昔舜、文之交也,世之相后,千有余岁;地之相去千有余里,揆其道则若合符节者,何也?为其良知同也。苟求其同,岂惟舜、文为然哉?赤子之心与大人同;夫妇之愚不肖与圣人同;蒸民之不识不知与帝则同。故考诸往圣而非古也;俟诸百世而非今也;无弗同也,无弗足也。故历千载如一日焉,地不得而间也;通千万人如一心焉,形不得而狗也。三代而降,世衰道微,而良知真体炯然不灭。故夫子一登其端,而吾人一触其几,恍然如出幽谷而睹天日。故诸生得之易而信之笃者,为良知同也。虽然,诸生今日得之若易,信之若笃矣,亦尚思其难而拟其信之若未至乎?昔者夫子之始倡是学也,天下非笑诋訾,几不免于陷阱者屡矣。夫子悯人心之不觉也,忘其身之危困,积以诚心,稽以实得,见之行事。故天下之同好者,共起而以身承之,以政明之。故诸生之有今日,噫亦难矣!诸生今日之得若火燃泉达,能继是无间,必信其燎原达海,以及于无穷,斯为真信也已。是在二三子图之。” 四十二年癸亥四月,先师年谱成。 师既没,同门薛侃、欧阳德、黄弘纲、何性之、王畿、张元冲谋成年谱,使各分年分地搜集成藁,总裁于邹守益。越十九年庚戌,同志未及合并。洪分年得师始生至谪龙场,寓史际嘉义书院,具稿以复守益。又越十年,守益遣书曰:“同志注念师谱者,今多为隔世人矣,后死者宁无惧乎?”谱接龙场,以续其后,修饰之役,吾其任之。”洪复寓嘉义书院具稿,得三之二。壬戌十月,至洪都,而闻守益讣。遂与巡抚胡松吊安福,访罗洪先于松原。洪先开关有悟,读《年谱》若有先得者。乃大悦,遂相与考订。促洪登怀玉,越四月而谱成。 八月,提学御史耿定向、知府罗汝芳建志学书院于宣城,祀先生。 洪、畿初赴水西会,过宁国府,诸生周怡、贡安国、梅守德、沈宠、余珊、徐大行等二百人有奇,延至景德寺,讲会相继不辍。是年,畿至。定向、汝芳规寺隙地,建祠立祀,于今讲会益盛。后知府钟一元扁为“昭代真儒”,遵圣谕也。 四十三年甲子,少师徐阶撰《先生像记》。 记曰:“阳明先生像一幅,水墨写。嘉靖己亥,予督学江西,就士人家摹得先生燕居像二,朝衣冠像一。明年庚子夏,以燕居之一赠吕生,此幅是也。先生在正德间,以都御史巡抚南赣,督兵败宸濠,平定大乱,拜南京兵部尚书,封新建伯。其后以论学为世所忌,竟夺爵。予往来吉、赣,问其父老云,濠之未叛也,先生奉命按事福州,乞归省其亲,乘单舸下南昌。至丰城闻变,将走还幕府,为讨贼计。而吉安太守松月伍公议适合。郡又有积谷可养士,因留吉安。征诸郡兵与濠战湖中,败擒之,其事皆有日月可按覆。而忌者谓先生始赴濠之约,后持两端,遁归。为伍所强,会濠攻安庆不克,乘其沮丧,幸成功。夫人苟有约,其败征未见,必不遁。凡攻讨之事,胜则侯,不胜则族。苟持两端,虽强不必不留。武皇帝之在御也,政由嬖幸。濠悉与结纳,至或许为内应。方其崛起,天下皆不敢意其遽亡。先生引兵而西,留其家吉安之公署,聚薪环之。戒守者曰:'兵败即纵火,毋为贼辱。'呜乎!此其功岂可谓幸成,而其心事岂不皎然如日月哉?忌者不与其功足矣。又举其心事诬之,甚矣小人之不乐成人善也。自古君子为小人所诬者多矣,要其终必自暴白。乃予所深慨者,今世士大夫,高者谈玄理,其次为柔愿,下者直以贪黩奔竞,谋自利其身。有一人焉,出死力,为国家平定大乱,而以忌厚诬之,其势不尽驱士类入于三者之途不止。凡为治不患无事功,患无赏罚。议论者,赏罚所从出也。今天下渐以多事,庶几得人焉,驰驱其间,而平时所议论者如此,虽在上智,不以赏罚为劝惩,彼其激励中才之具,不已疏乎?此予所深慨也。濠之乱,孙、许二公死于前,先生平定之于后,其迹不同,同有功于名教。江西会城,孙、许皆庙食,而先生无祠。予督学之二年,始祀先生于后圃。未几被召,因摹像以归,将示同志者,而首以赠吕生。予尝见人言,此像于先生极似。以今观之,貌殊不武,然独以武功显于此,见儒者之作用矣。吕生诚有慕乎,尚于其学求之。” 巡按江西监察御史成守节重修洪都王公仰止祠。 大学士李春芳作《碑记》。记曰:“阳明先生祠,少师存翁徐公督学江右时所创建也。公二十及第宏词博学,烨然称首词林,一时词林宿学,皆自以为不及。而公则曰:'学岂文词已也。'日与文庄欧阳公穷究心学。闻阳明先生良知之说而深契焉。江右为阳明先生过化,公既阐明其学以训诸生,而又为崇祀无所,不足以击众志,乃于省城营建祠宇,肖先生像祀之。遴选诸生之俊茂者,乐群其中,名曰'龙沙会'。公课艺暇,每以心得开示诸生。而一时诸生多所兴起云。既公召还,洊跻纶阁,为上所亲信,盖去江右几二十年矣。有告以祠宇倾圮者,则愀然动心,捐赐金九十,属新建钱令修葺之。侍御甘斋成君闻之曰:'此予责也。'遂身任其事,鸠工招材,饰其所已敝,增其所未备,堂宇斋舍,焕然改观。不惟妥神允称,而诸生之兴起者,益勃勃不可御矣。噫!公当枢筦之任,受心膂之寄,无论几务丛委,即宸翰咨答,日三四至,而犹之不可以已也。夫致知学发自孔门,而孟子良知之说,则又发所未发。阳明先生合而言之曰'致良知',则好善恶恶之意诚,推其极,家国天下可坐而理矣。公笃信先生之学,而日以验之身心,施之政事,秉钧之初,即发私馈,屏贪墨,示以好恶,四海响风。不数年而人心吏治,翕然不变。此岂有异术哉?好善恶恶之意诚于中也。故学非不明之患,患不诚耳。知善知恶,良知具存。譬之大明当天,无微不照,当好当恶,当赏当罚,当进当退,锱铢不爽,各当天则。循其则而应之,则平平荡荡,无有作好,无有作恶,而天下平矣。故诚而自谦,则好人所好,恶人所恶,而为仁;不诚而自欺,则好人所恶,恶人所好,而为不仁。苟为不仁,生于其心,害于其事,蠹治戕民,有不可胜言者矣。公为此惧,又举明道《定性》、《识仁》二书发明其义,以示海内学者,而致知之学益明以切。诸生能心惟其义而体诸身,则于阳明先生之学几矣。业新舍者,其尚体公之意,而殚力于诚,以为他日致用之地哉!”
