也许,中国,和我们自己,都在不知不觉之中开始习惯的太多了。也许,过不了多久,也就再没有什么事情和事件,值得我们稍微的震惊了。而居然仍保持着震惊本能的人,则理所当然地显得少见多怪,显得滑稽可笑,甚至愚不可及。 这真是一种令人沮丧的现实——当代之中国女性,一旦知识化了,很多一部分,也便同时“准贵族化”了,变成了些个“包法利夫人”式的女人。 “知识女性”和女“知识分子”,显然是极不相同的两个概念。 每年都从全国的大学里派生出前者们,却只能从众多的前者们之中派生出极少的后者们。 前者们往往更加对一切与女性的时髦相关的事物发生浓厚兴趣。因为她们往往自以为有了“知识”,便拥有了尤其要享受时髦的特权。 看来仅仅“知识化”未必就会使女性在精神品格上自立自强;正如仅仅富起来未必就会使男人成为文明人。 中国当代并不缺少男文化人和女文化人,并不缺少“知识女性”或“知识男性”,起码不像缺少起码的社会良知、社会道义、社会责任感和使命感那么紧迫地缺少。但却十分紧迫非常紧迫地缺少真正意义上的“知识分子”,尤其缺少真正意义上的女“知识分子”。至于形形色色的所谓“知识女性”,从来都只不过是时代的闪烁发光的边角料,正如玻璃厂里的玻璃渣子也闪烁发光一样…… 刘晓庆是名气大大的女演员,但非是演技最高的女演员。名气高于演技,乃中外演艺界寻常现象,因素往往在“戏”外。 爱是文学艺术中老得不能再老的主题。却永远的老而不死。真真是一个“老不死的东西。”我想这大撅由于读者们总是一代一代老得很快,总是一代一代相继死去的原因吧? 大多数当代人既不愿执勤地生活在传统观念中,其实也不愿非常激进地生活在种种时代的“先锋”观念中。往往习惯于生活在传统与“先锋”之间的“过渡带”。 当代人不但要读关于爱的故事,更要读当代人创作的,尤其要该当代人反映当代人的。 老故事和畅销书之间的关系,其实正意昧着当代人和爱、和性、和家庭观念之间的尴尬——不求全新,亦不甘守旧。全新太耗精力,守旧太委屈自己。 近年,情形似乎有了很大变化。物质生活水准提高了,五十多岁的男人不再各个都像小老头儿了。四十多岁的女人也普遍都非常在意地减肥、健美,想方设法使自己年轻化了。事实上,她们也真比五六十年代的女人们年轻得多。人既年轻,心也就俏少。半老不老的女人们的内心里,其实是和少女们一样喜欢读爱情小说的,只不过不喜欢读爱情一方主角是少女的小说罢了。 半老不老的女人们和半老不老的男人们内心里所幻想的。直接的就是婚外恋。 对于婚外浪漫恋情的幻想,一个只有小学三四年级文化程度的女人,绝不比一个受过大学高等教育的女人或女硕士女博士什么的稍逊,甚至有过之而无不及。初级教育教给人幻想的能力,高等教育教给人思想的能力。婚外恋幻想是中产阶层妇女传统的意识游戏之一。 ,它在每段赤裸裸的情欲和性的描写之后,总是“有诗为证”。而那些“诗”,几乎全部的拙劣到了极点,后来就干脆不厌其烦地重复出现。同样的字、词、句,一而再,再丽三地使用,好比今天看电视连续剧,不时插入同一条广告。 笑笑生毫无疑问是一个有间接淫癖的男人。他从他的写作中也获得着间接性心理的和性生理的快感。可以想象,那一种快感,于笑笑生显然的形同手淫。后人将“批判”和“谴责”的桂冠戴在他的头上,实在意昧着一种暖昧。 性爱在中国当代小说中,几乎只剩下了官能的壳。这壳里也几乎只剩下了人欲的流动。 没有温情的爱情是根本不可能的,正如没有氧的空气根本不是空气一样。 爱着的男女之间的温情都是有几分“肉麻”的,只不过“肉麻”的程度不同罢了。这一点一切爱过的男女——痴爱也罢,逢场作戏也罢,都是心中有数的。而且都是有切身体会的。 读过许多关于爱情的小说之后,我已经变得不大容易被爱情故事所感动了。 最感动当代人的爱情故事,必是发生在当代的爱情故事。 哪怕极平庸的当代爱情故事,也会至少吸引当代人中的一部分。 这种感动就像嫉妒一样。当代人不会嫉妒古人,不会嫉妒神话中的人和传说中的人。但一定要深深地嫉妒他或她周围的人。 一切的爱情小说,包括神话中的爱情故事和民间的爱情故事,都是有“性别”的。有的可归为“男性”类,有的可归为“女性”类,有的可归为“中性类”。《白蛇传》,则是“男性”类的爱情故事。这故事通过许仙这男人,去感受千年蛇精的自娘子。这故事明显不是为女人们讲述的,而是为男人们讲述的。尽管它赚取了女人们的眼泪,但是真正深入的是男人们的心。哪一个男人不曾幻想和一条白娘子那样的大蛇精发生一段恋情呢?可是许仙却不会进人多少女人们的梦里,由于他对真爱的不信任。白娘子却世世代代满足着一切中国男人们的爱情幻想。 在西方人的爱情观念中,性则往往是摆在第一位的。性生活的美满,才是幸福夫妻关系的大前提。我们不知道安娜·卡列尼娜决心要与她的丈夫离婚而不惜做花花公子渥伦斯基的情妇,除了对方风流倜傥的外表,是否也有着她的丈夫性疲软的因素。 饥渴之人,一旦有机会“暴食狂饮”,可算是一种上帝赐予的补偿。 康司丹斯在她所处的那个时代的勇敢选择,具有女性个体的积极意义。弗朗西丝卡的选择,则顺应了社会的暗示。前者将被女人所叹服,后者将被社会所叹服。前者征服女人,后者征服男人。不乏深刻,但毫无感人之处。《廊桥遗梦》毫无深刻,但不乏感人之处。它感动我们的,不是十四年前的男女婚外恋,而是罗伯特的格守诺言。以及他对弗朗西丝卡那种“曾经沧海难为水,除却巫山不是云”的专情。这一种专情,确乎足以使当代男人们无地自容。也确乎足以令任何一个当代女人打算涌泉相报…… 我认为,《廊桥遗梦》好比是一个气象气球。它飘到中国上空,使我们经由它的出现,足以观测到我们自己所处的“社会气象”。“气象”二宇所指,当然是爱情观念和家庭观念。如若劳伦斯依然活着,他将会震惊地看到,使他当年痛心疾首斥以厉言的那类青年,七十年后在中国竟比比皆是。 如若罗伯特·沃勒到中国来与他们和她们坦率交谈,将会震惊地明白——他的《廊桥遗梦》却是在与他的愿望相反的方面感动中国的“新生代”,以及新生的中产阶层男亥们。 中国人所面临的家庭和爱情的矛盾,将在下一个世纪像地球上的能源污染一般空前严重。 对美的女性的裸体之欣赏,或对女性的裸体美的欣赏,应是人类最起码具有的、最由衷的、最自然的、最愉悦的欣赏意识。这一种欣赏意识,应与我们对大自然中的美景的欣赏互有最直接的共鸣。 皆云“钱财乃身外之物”,怎么的一来,从哪一天开始,中国人仿佛都活到了另一种境界?一种“钱财之外本无物”的境界? 我所由衷赞美的是进化之后的人体之美。是那些健康的、年轻的、充满生命活力的人体之美。我尤其毫不害羞地由衷地赞美这样一些女人的人体之美。这世界上再没有其他任何事物,竟能与她们的人体之美相提并论。一只孔雀无疑也是美的,可是若将它们的漂亮焙目的羽毛技光了,它们顿时会变得多么丑陋啊!一匹骏马,一只豹,一头鹿或羚羊,无疑也是美的。可它们如果站立起来,那样子又将是多么可笑啊!面一个健康的,年轻的,充满生命活力的,体态优美的女人,无论她穿上什么衣服,都是美的。衣服的款式与色彩不同,她身上焕发出的美感也便不同。而她什么都不穿的时候,赤裸地,安详地站着、坐着或卧着的时候,那么她的美更加无与伦比倘一群又一群裸体的男人进入我的视野,我也将确不知会对我的心理造成什么感受。因为据我想来、男人还是容衣服更体面一些。不穿衣服的男人连所谓气质都谈不大上了。以前我每星期都在公共浴室洗一次澡。我承认那种地方其实是我最讨厌去的地方之一。 当我们谈论人体美的时候,其实主要是指女性人体而言。虽都是人,一裸,男人和女人的结果,则就不能用同一“语言体系”去说了。雕塑大师米开朗其罗的“大卫”,与断臂的维纳斯相比,简直就算不上是什么艺术品了。罗丹的“思想者”,据我看来,罩上一袭亚里士多德穿的那种长袍,同样是坐在那儿做冥思冕想之状,艺术效果反而要好得多。男人的肌肉感其实不具有怎么高的审美价值。有的生命形体需要皮和羽毛的“包装”,去掉这一种“包装”使不值得欣赏。有的生命形体“包装”与不“包装”都是美的。优美的女人形体就是这样。这是造物主决定的。一个亘古不变的自然法则。 人体是最美的。人脸乃最美中之美。人眼乃最美中之至美精美的。 我常觉人眼美得不可思议。大不抵一瓣桔,色不外蓝黑褐.不发声而善表达,不遣词而语汇丰富,乃至于连文字都甘拜下风。一睁则与灵性相通,一闭则与梦境同游。远眺则山川江河,尽收眼底。近观则纤尘之微,也看得个一清二楚。喜怒哀乐优,仁义礼志信,一双眼睛,统统的都包括了去。美目流盼中是美人眼。视死如归是志士眼。无所畏惧是猛士的眼。天真烂漫是儿童的眼。纯洁无理是少女的眼。睿智深邃是哲人的眼。谈然视之是隐士的眼。善良祥和是君子的眼。所以老百姓有一句话道是“画脸容易圆眼难”。文词中有一句话道是“画龙点睛”之笔。一张报的关键版块叫“报眼文章”。一首诗的藏妙处叫“诗眼”。政治家大商人的高明举措被形容为“独具慧眼”…… 我常常为许多小小年纪就戴上了近视眼镜的少男少女们的眼睛而难过。 一上中学,分数这条疯狂的猎狗,就将他们和她们追逐得像些可怜的小野兔似的无处逃命。从初一到高三,从十二三岁到十七八岁,整整六年里,他们和她们成了这个国家这个民族心理最紧张的人。为了分数首先牺牲的是欢乐,接着的代价是眼睛。某重点中学的高二班中,三分之一学生是近视眼。另外三分之一视力明显下降。最后三分之一也都不同程度地感到视力不佳…… 我为许多年轻女郎们的眼睛而难过。她们本都有一双好看的眼睛,可是却步要用一些乱七八糟的所谓化妆品污染在自己的眼睛周围。使她们看去像熊猫,像火鸡。她们这样做往往是为了引起男人们的注意,吸引男人们的目光。可是却似乎不懂,男人们欣赏的,最是女人们未被污染过的眼睛。 我也常为许多男人们的眼睛而难过。我发现许多男人们的眼睛,观看猥亵的、邪狞的、丑恶的、残忍的情形的欲望,是远远强大于观看美好的、优雅的、艺术化了的事物的。“赏心悦目”这个词的含意,对他们的眼睛而言,恰拾反了过来。看书一定要看“黄”的,看电影一定要看“黄”的,看录像更要看“黄”的。“色情”二字已不过瘾,要看床上的“一招一式”的真功夫的操练。当然,最好再佐以血腥的恐怖之刺激…… 男婚女嫁,关乎一辈子。质量的前提,首先该是“性”和“情”。 好丈夫是各式各样的。除了吸烟我没有别的坏毛病。我非是“登徒子”式的男人。也从不“拈花惹草”、“招蜂惹蝶”。In fact.在男女情感关系中我很虚伪。如果我不想,既或与女性经年相处,同行十万八千里,她们也是难以判断我究竟喜爱不喜爱她们的。我自认为,我在这一方面常显得冷漠无情。并且,我不认为这多么好。虚伪怎么会反而好呢?其实我内心里对女性是充满温爱的。一个女性如果认为我的友爱对她在某一时期某种情况之下极为重要,我今后将不再虚伪。 最重要的,我的妻子赞同我对友爱与情爱的理解。在这一前提中,我才能学作一个坦荡男人。 我对妻子坦坦荡荡毫无隐私。我想这正是她爱我的主要之点。我对她的坦荡理应获得她对我的婚外情感的尊重。实际上她也做到了。她对我“无为而治”,而我从她的“家庭政策”中领悟到了一个已婚男人怎样自重和自爱…… 我给未婚男人们的忠告是——如果你选择妻子,最适合你的那一个,才是和你最有“缘”的那一个。好的并不都适合。适合的大抵便是对你最好的了…… 在吃这一方面,中国人的嘴其实是很丢中国人的脸的。 中国人的嘴之第二个不争的方面,是说假话。 遗憾的是,有些假话只许帮着去说,不许一语戳穿。有些假话,仍被铁幕罩着,暂且还分辨不出究竟是真是假。有些假话是人人都乐意说的。正应了林彪那句“名言”——“不说假话办不成大事”。 比如北京市那位畏罪自杀了的副市长王宝森,倘不是一朝马脚败露,被揭发了出来,恐怕至今仍是个言必爱党、爱国、爱民、爱社会主义的好干部呐! 中国人的嘴之第三个不争的方面,用老百姓的话讲,甚至是“缺德”的方面,便是惯善贬低别人,打击别人,抬高自己,美化自己,自以为得计,自以为得意。 中国人的嘴,又是这世界上最凶恶的嘴。 我总在想,什么时候,中国人的嘴不那么喜宴贪吃,不那么一张嘴便一套套的假话,不总在打击和贬低别人,不总在抬高和美化自己,什么时候,中国人学得不将“口福”当成一种幸福去追求,学得少说多做.以说假话为大耻,以制造和参与流言蜚语为丑恶,什么时候——那时候,中国才真的有些什么希望可言! 爱憎分明于一个人是多么重要的品质。 与我的中学时代相比,现在的中学生,似乎太被学业所压迫了。我的中学时代,是苦于无书可读。买书是买不起的,尽管那时书价比现在便宜得多。几个同学凑了七八分钱,到小人书铺去看小人书,就是永远值得回忆的往事了。现在的中学生们,可看的太多了,却又陷入选择的迷惘,并且失去了本该拥有的时间。生活也真是太苛刻了。 我挺怜悯现在的中学生的。 我真同情我的中学生朋友们。 贫困是人类最大的丑恶现象。 如果我们已知人类有百种丑恶,那么三分之二盖源于贫困,三分之一盖源于贪婪…… 贫困是可以消灭的。穷人却是永远都存在的。 “心理贫穷症”将是商品时代的一种“绝症”。
