Fu Lei's family letter 傅敏 15556Words 2018-03-18
February 8, 1956 Dear child: I have wanted to write to you for a long time, and I have always been very busy.Meetings for several days.After the group discussion, I was pushed to speak on behalf of the group, and I had to prepare the speech when I got home; when I read it on stage, I couldn’t speak Mandarin, so I had to practice several times beforehand, trying to correct the Shanghai accent.As a result, when I spoke at the conference yesterday, it was still unavoidable that I was "blue and green". Very good, but much better than Uncle Tian's "Lanqing".There was a meeting, and I had to deliver a report when I got home. I also had a lot of thoughts, and I was talking to my mother and Amin while sorting out my thoughts.The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is being held in Beijing, and the materials are published every day; because the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference also holds meetings at the same time, there is no time to read it carefully.

But I snatched some speeches at the Beijing conference, some of which were very exciting, and the opinions raised were very pertinent.The meeting of the CPPCC in Shanghai this time has also made significant progress compared with the situation at the meeting in May last year.The last congress was full of empty words and praises; this time the speakers all talked about practical issues.In this way, the meeting is meaningful and contributes to oneself, the people, and the party.The government does not want people to cheer all day long.But the progress of the people is also facilitated by the progress of the government.Because the chief's report has specific content, everyone's speeches also have specific content.I will sort out some materials and send them to you later.

Mrs. Bronstein has a letter.She has broadcast seven or eight times on the radio.At one point it was Schumann: Conceito [Schumann: Concerto] and the orchestra, once Saint-Saens [Saint Sang] ①'s G Min, Concerto (Op.22, No2) [Concerto in G Minor (Op. 22 bis)].Their life is very hard. There are 750 doctors in a city with a population of 350,000, and Dr. Bronstein is suffering.It is said that the income is not enough to cover part of the household expenses. In the materials sent from France, Belgium, and Switzerland, except for one, it is very clearly dissatisfied with the first place in the lines. It is obvious that he only said that he won the first prize and how much it was; he did not say a word about his acting skills. carry.The British reports only mentioned you.It's a pity that these are general news reports, which are very brief.

The words of the French newspaper Le Soiré put it most clearly: "No matter how high the prize is, it cannot make a twenty-year-old youth gain maturity and character"; this sentence is not well translated in Chinese, so let's translate it into English: "The prize in competition, however highmay6e, is not sufficient to gjve a pianist0f 20 the maturity and personality." "Especially the closeness of the first few scores, let alone the winner has won definite1y [champion deserves its name, the champion is absolutely leading]. All in all, the future time and the masses will In our opinion, the revelation of VCompetition0f Chopin is the Chinese pianist F0u, Ts0ng, wh0stands very high1y above the other competitors bya refined culture and quite matured sensitivity. Jia Fu Cong, because of his elegant cultural background and mature comprehension ability, stands out among all the contestants.]”

This is the clearest of the several reports. February 13, 1956 Dear children, the Shanghai CPPCC held four days of meetings. I spoke on behalf of the group for the first time, and made a supplementary speech for the second time. I have attached two copies of the manuscript for you to read.I will send you a pack of newspapers and newspaper clippings by ordinary mail on the 10th, including Premier Zhou’s political report, a report on intellectual issues, and a selection of speeches from the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, all underlined with a red pen so that you can focus on the main points when reading. save time.There is also a booklet "Agricultural Development Outline".It is expected that the package will be in your hands in early March; if you are not free, you can ① Saint-Saëns (1835-1921), French composer.

You can read it on your way to the south.From the speeches of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, we can see the situation in all aspects of our country, the opinions of all walks of life, and the talents of various fields. The meeting of the Shanghai CPPCC is quite different from last year's meeting in May.The attendees were not only in high spirits, but their speeches were rich in content, and they asked many and specific questions. (Seven to eight out of ten were empty words in the last conference.) Uncle Yang ① spoke on behalf of the music group, and it was very impressive and wonderful.He explained how much time is needed for musicians to learn professionally. Now everyone is in a hurry, and the professional level is declining every day; he not only said it visually, but also soundly.During the break, I met Xu Zhucheng, the president of "Wen Wei Po", and he said: "I took a lesson today (music knowledge)." It is very necessary to explain the nature of musicians' labor to the public.Only when the general public understands the special nature of labor can it become a kind of public opinion, urging the authorities to slowly improve the situation in the music industry.

Speaking at the conference, my characteristic is that among the plenary speeches, there are the fewest catchphrases and the shortest time.The first speech was no more than eleven minutes, and the second was no more than six minutes.Some of them are as long as twenty-five minutes, and they are procrastinated, with repeated sentences accounting for more than half. Uncle Lin was recommended by Uncle Zhou (Xu Liang, one of the nine deputy secretaries-general of the Shanghai CPPCC, responsible for cultural affairs), and as a member of society, he went to Beijing to attend the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.From January 30 to February 7, he held meetings in Beijing.Before the trip, I prepared a speech for him, talking about school medicine and hygiene (he is a doctor at East China Normal University) and his singing theory, and also about the situation in the music industry.As a result, he spoke in the group, and the effect was very good.After he arrived in Beijing, he added a paragraph of self-criticism, which was roughly the following: "Personally, I was oppressed by sectarianism, and I couldn't help teaching my students with revenge, thinking that good singers would come out. Naturally, you don't Decent people will collapse. My idea is actually to create sectarianism, to establish one's own way into another sect;

And I fell into sectarianism without knowing it. "Look, is this passage good? He has always been biased, only paying attention to singing and sound quality; he doesn't care about the general situation of the music industry, let alone things other than music.This return to Beijing finally broadened his mind and vision.Chairman Mao treats guests, and he also has a share, and he also has a share in clinking glasses.Many scientists talked very speculatively with him.Li Weihan, head of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee, also talked with him about the "singing method", and called Ding Xielin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Culture (an older scientist), and Ding asked Lin to talk for another 20 minutes.Probably in this campaign to promote scientific research, Uncle Lin's research can get strong support from the government—all these things will keep me busy in the future.Because Uncle Lin has to discuss everything with me: making a plan, etc., editing the text, and supplementing ideas, all of which require my participation.

My son, you must be very happy. Everyone is moving forward, and they are moving forward in a down-to-earth manner, not just shouting slogans.Although our country is still far from the "Age of Atomic Energy" in terms of scientific achievements, the pace of development of the overall social situation has indeed reached the "Age of Atomic Energy".Everyone feels that they cannot keep up with the objective situation.Let me just talk about myself. Although I have plenty of time, there are all kinds of news reports, study documents, newspapers, magazines, and pamphlets.The work in this field is so time consuming, it is almost the same as your piano practice.Eight or nine hours a day, only one or two thousand words can be translated;

When changing, it takes another day for the 1,2000 words. The progress is as slow as a snail, and the technical distress is the same as yours. There are problems everywhere. The ability to understand is at least four or five times the ability to express... Do you think so? Is it similar to you? Ordinary children who are self-taught at home have a big problem: they are too indifferent to the overall situation, and they are very indifferent to the cause of socialist transformation.I have talked to Mingqiang, Xisan, and Ziqi several times, but it doesn't work.They only know how to practice piano.If this continues, the boy becomes an old man.Being out of touch with society is really undesirable.I said that the boy has become an old man, and I insulted the old man!How many elderly people today are very active and open-minded.

① That is, Professor Yang Jiaren of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, who died in 1966. Even the mother-in-law of the Song family is very clear-headed.The root cause of such children lies in family education. Parents only saw that you used to close the door to practice the piano, but they never imagined that you also cared about knowledge and current situation other than the piano; they also never imagined that the air in our home is definitely not pure, blindly music, music, music!Of course, the children's own intelligence and feelings also have a lot to do with it; otherwise, why would there still be vigorous children in many conservative and stubborn families? ??Really, look around the youth, very few really hopeful.When I say "hope," I don't mean "professional" accomplishment, but personality development.So I feel more and more important for the all-round development of youth. If you have read my letter, my speech, and Premier Zhou's report, etc., I hope you will turn your enthusiasm into strength and your shame into determination.The most important thing for you is to seize the time and make your life disciplined and scientific; you can't waste your rest time!Also, the study plan must be strictly implemented, and do not change it at will! Although it is the New Year, people come and go, and I am very busy, so I took the time to write this letter to you. I wish you a successful recording and a successful performance in Qunan! The night of February 29, 1956 Dear child: I sorted out your letters yesterday, and I have some thoughts. Many people seem to understand what Mozart said, such as his innocence, cuteness, freshness, etc.; But it still doesn't have that naive, cute, and fresh taste when playing it.This principle, I think, is the difference between "rational understanding" and "deep feeling".Perceptual knowledge is, of course, an initial impression, a general understanding; rational knowledge is a step deeper, to understand the essence.But the understanding of art cannot be limited to this.You have to go deeper and experience with your heart what you know rationally, so that the original author's joys and sorrows can be transformed into your own sorrows, joys and anger, and every nerve tremor of the original author can cause echoes in your nerves. .Otherwise, even if a lot of truths are said, there is still a gap.Generally, artists tend to be intel1ctua1 [reasonable] and co1d [calm], because they stay at the stage of rational understanding. For example, you yourself, in the past, you may not have known the characteristics of Mozart, but you did not have a real sympathy for him; if you didn’t feel deeply, you would naturally love him; And the less tasteful it is, the less interested you are.If the cycle goes on like this, of course you can't go deep into a writer. This time is not the case, you really resonate with Mozart, your pulse is in line with his pulse, your heartbeat is in the same rhythm as his; you live in him, and he lives in you; yourself You have found out and grasped the common ground with him, so you appreciate and understand him in this way. From this, we can draw a conclusion: not only can art not be limited to perceptual knowledge, but it can also not be limited to rational knowledge, and the third step of emotional depth must be carried out.In other words, what artists need most, besides reason, is the word "love"!The so-called innocence not only refers to innocence and freshness, but also refers to love! There is a saying in French called "great heart", which means "love". The words "great heart" are really meaningful.And this love is by no means vulgar, mother-in-law, mother-in-law's feelings, but a warm, sincere, clean, noble, raging, selfless love. Starting from this theory, the reasons why many people can't play things well can be understood.Rational without emotion, of course, cannot express music: with general emotion instead of the fiery, noble and refined emotion, it will still be vulgar; the so-called sentinlental, sentimental, sad], I think it refers such vulgar sentiments. All great artists (whether they are composers, writers, painters...) must have both unique personality and universal humanity.As long as we can discover the humanity in our hearts, we will find a bridge to communicate with artists.And if you can carefully ponder it and feel its unique personality, then you can understand a work of art as a whole. ——Of course, it is impossible to have exactly the same understanding and feelings as the original author. There are still big differences in the amount, depth, breadth and narrowness of understanding; and our own personality also plays a big role in the middle. Most people who are engaged in art lack sincerity.Because of lack of sincerity, everything is said casually in the mouth, as a cover for bluffing, pretending to be one's own facade, but in fact it is just picking up people's teeth, not really feeling something. Therefore, they must not have a deep understanding of the writer, first of all, they have not analyzed themselves in depth.This meaning, Christophe (in the second book) seems to have said. Sincerity is the key to the first art.What you know is what you know, what you don't know is what you don't know.A sincere "understand" is more comfortable than an insincere "understand".The most disgusting thing is self-righteousness and self-righteousness.Only with sincerity can one have an open mind, and with an open mind, one is willing to abandon oneself to understand others, and one can let go of false self-esteem to understand oneself.Love based on understanding yourself and others is not blind love. Sincerity needs to be cultivated from an early age over a long period of time.In society and in the family, too many lessons prevent us from being sincere, and sincerity requires a lot of courage to back it up.So to be an artist, you must first learn to be a human being.An artist must be more sincere, more sensitive, more open-minded, braver, more persevering, in a word, less imperfect than anyone else! It seems that there is a generally accepted phenomenon in the world: a musician (referring to a performer) is mostly limited to playing the works of certain composers.In fact, such a person can only be called a performer rather than an artist.Because their minds are not broad enough, they cannot tolerate the vast art world, and cannot accept the infinitely changing shapes and colors. If one can always cultivate the field of one's heart, one should have no problem understanding any work of art. There's a little thing I want to talk to you about.Why are you always so unclean when you write envelopes?Neat [clean] in daily chores is the same as being clean in playing the piano.I always believe that the style of life should be consistent, otherwise it is disharmony; and those who are engaged in art should hate disharmony most.I am enclosing a small square of paper this time, which is smaller than the envelope you used, but it can still write generously.Can you pay attention?By analogy, it is also beneficial to your art to develop this neat (clean) habit in all small things.Because no matter how small and insignificant things are, they all reflect a person's consciousness and temperament.Modifying small habits is equivalent to modifying one's own consciousness and temperament.The so-called learning is not necessarily limited to books or a certain technology; otherwise, this sentence should be learned anytime and anywhere, so how can we say it?I think every time you receive a letter from me, or even send a large package of books, you should have the impression that my handwriting is neat and clear! The day you went to Yugoslavia on the morning of March 1, 1956 was your twenty-second birthday.You can use the time on the road to think carefully about the regularization of learning, planning, and scientific life that I mentioned in every letter. You may wish to reflect on whether it has begun to be implemented?What shortcomings need to be corrected?What past achievements need to be further consolidated?All in all, you should make a small summary. The speed of our society has caught up with the age of atomic energy.Everyone feels that the task is important and urgent, and that time and workers cannot be coordinated.So the main key is to buy time.It is this question that worries me most about you.You have been procrastinating and wasting a lot of time on trivial matters in life.I hope you will make great efforts to improve and make the greatest determination to reverse it. Dad's heart is always with you, happy for your success, worried about your troubles, and worried about your shortcomings!On your twenty-second birthday, I have high hopes for you especially!Be brave, boy! Be braver, overcome big and small shortcomings, and work hard to move forward! The night of March 26, 1956 In the afternoon, I saw a piece of news in "Xin Min Bao", which was from Xinhua News Agency Prague, saying that your first performance at Be1grade [Belgrade], accompanied by the People's Army Symphony Orchestra, won "abnormal" Successfully, the curtain calls up to fifteen times, and eight additional performances.We're so happy and don't know how to congratulate you. At this time, I was busy transcribing manuscripts, and I finally finished translating Vold's second collection of short stories ("Candide" published last spring was the first collection).The translation of Balzac ("Usul Miroet") was completed in April last year, and it has been put aside for eleven months in "Humanities".They reviewed and reviewed, but could not make any comments, but it took so long.In addition to translation work, the main thing is to read literary and artistic creations after liberation, which is also a "remedial" nature, otherwise it will be out of date.I also want to write some "book reviews" this year.The other is to mobilize some art and music people to do research work on behalf of the public. Just like other big cities, Shanghai has set up a "Philosophy and Social Sciences Academic Committee Preparatory Office", which includes a literature and art group, mainly headed by Tang Wei.He asked me to think about what talents I have in the fields of art and music. This preparatory office was soon abolished and became an academic committee; two years later, the academic committee established various research institutes, such as the Institute of History, the Institute of Literature and Art, and so on.This is like the branch institutions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in various places.In order to mobilize people, we have to talk to them separately and design for them.For example, Uncle Lin's vocal research is of course the most readily available.Uncle Shen was hit by the Hu Feng movement last year, and his energy was low and he couldn't arouse himself.There was a telegram from Beijing looking for him the day before yesterday, probably because this kind of research work needs him.Once he left, there would be no one in Shanghai who could really study music.However, if the central government needs it, the local governments cannot fight for it from the perspective of egotism.I just can't keep my mind off this kind of business. Last week, the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee convened more than 20 people to discuss the "publishing" issue, and I was also invited; one meeting lasted six hours.This is a substantial meeting. Although it takes a long time, it is meaningful after all.Everyone expressed a lot of opinions, and they all criticized the editing work, distribution work, and the management style of international bookstores.It took me dozens of minutes to speak alone.It was very interesting to hear the feedback from all sides at the same time.In addition, the CPPCC will hold its second plenary meeting soon (an enlarged meeting of the Standing Committee will be held in early February), and a notice will be sent out in advance. There are two types of recommenders who want us to be members. of.I nominated two people: Qiu Shaoheng (in attendance) and Yang Xinde (member).Pass or not, of course, is not up to me.Before recommending, I have to spend time talking with them separately to understand their work and thinking in recent years, as well as some past history that I don’t know in detail. Yang Xinde, I also recommend to the CPPCC to arrange him to be a printing plate research work.In this way, on the one hand, I have to talk to my friends, and after talking, I have to write.There are also sporadic suggestions to the central or local governments, which take up a lot of my time. April 14, 1956 The second plenary session of the CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee was held for five consecutive days this week.I participated in all meetings, even group discussions.There were 275 members in the original committee, and 87 members were newly recruited this time, making a total of 362 members.467 people from all walks of life were invited to attend.The venue is the "Friendship Cinema" in the Sino-Soviet Building.The meeting was very tense and lively.There were as many as 181 people who signed up to speak, but due to time constraints, only 69 people actually made speeches, and the rest were changed to written speeches.I proposed a motion (there were no more than 25 motions received by the General Assembly) and a written speech.I had planned to speak only in writing; I had already spoken twice at the enlarged meeting in early February, and this time it was time for someone else to take the stage.At the group meeting, everyone raised a lot of opinions, and the speeches at the conference were even more exciting.Fan Songfu, an old Kuomintang soldier (military commander class), burst into tears; Zhou Bizhen reported on participating in the performance of the Chinese Folk Art Troupe in Macao this spring, and the enthusiastic response from overseas Chinese in Hong Kong and Macao was really touching.I couldn't help but shed tears in the venue.It seems that I myself am a person living in Hong Kong and Macau.This kind of excitement has only been felt when listening to certain music in recent years.Of course, there are also a lot of stereotypes. Gossip and chatter take up ten or twenty minutes, all of which are self-examinations, with promises on the left and empty words of determination on the right.Returned overseas Chinese, pastors, and priests also spoke.The patriotism of overseas Chinese is particularly high, and their words are very down-to-earth.There is a Shanghai Pingtan (that is, storytelling) artist who made a particularly sharp opinion. He said: "We want to lead our cadres, we want strong cadres; we don't want cadres who don't care about food, we are not a nursing home..." Such words are unprecedented in such a meeting.Everyone on the rostrum was moved. ?? Such a democratic spirit can be celebrated for the country.It's a pity that intellectuals (the vast majority of those invited to attend this time) do not have such courage.At the meeting, there were also many wonderful remarks on the issue of the peaceful liberation of Taiwan.The conference mainly discussed the "1956-1957 Intellectuals Work Outline Draft" drafted by the "Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China". In it, there were 32 specific plans for the future arrangements for Shanghai intellectuals: roughly divided into three categories: (1) ) Improve the relationship between the party organization and the existing intellectuals, improve the working and living conditions of intellectuals, so as to fully develop the potential of intellectuals; (2) expand and cultivate new forces, carry out academic research and improve the professional capabilities of intellectuals (3) Strengthen leadership and arrangements for ideological transformation of intellectuals and study of Marxism-Leninism. Part (1) has already been implemented: there are about 10,000 senior intellectuals in Shanghai, and 3,000 of them will be taken care of first, such as allocating housing; so that intellectuals can have a quiet study room, the Shanghai Housing Management Bureau has 500 houses were allocated to some professors, experts, writers, and artists whose living conditions were particularly bad and who had made achievements in research.They also distributed a variety of "treatment certificates", which allowed people to make appointments at designated hospitals on the same day and receive treatment on the same day; they also distributed "non-staple food (such as fish, etc.) supply cards" to buy from designated food supply stations without having to wait in line. (I also got these two cards).From this you can see how much the government values intellectuals now.Just because the objective conditions are not enough, we can only start from high-level intellectuals for the time being.In addition, in late February, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee held a half-monthly meeting, convening nearly 10,000 party and youth cadres from various agencies, schools, and organizations to study this policy, asking them to get close to intellectuals and achieve "mutual trust and mutual learning." Work supports them in every way.Those who spoke at the meeting all expressed that in order to repay the care and attention of the party and the government, they must step up their efforts and actively improve themselves in all aspects of business and ideological transformation.You must be very excited to hear this news.As an intellectual, I really want to do some work on the transformation of intellectuals.For example, write some articles, criticize the shortcomings of intellectuals, and so on.Since the government has made such great efforts to help us, we should redouble our efforts to cooperate with the government.Improving the relationship between the party and intellectuals is a key issue, and the solution to this issue is two-sided and by no means one-sided.So I am going to write a series of essays to dig out and analyze the root causes of intellectual illnesses, so as to raise everyone's awareness, urge everyone to work hard in practice, and do what they say.Originally, I wanted to write some book reviews in terms of literature and art, but after reading more than 20 kinds of works recently, I feel that I can’t start writing rashly; most of the works describe the countryside, the War of Liberation, the War of Resistance Against Japan, and a few are about factories; I don't know anything about the actual situation, and criticizing only from the works, there must be a gap.So I want to go out slowly, take a look, and write after observing more. After reading more than twenty kinds of creations, I received a very profound education.I used to be too ignorant of the party's arduous struggles in all aspects for decades; the price of blood, sweat and lives paid by the people for resisting Japan, feudalism, the enemy and puppet, and Chiang Kai-shek, etc., and the inhuman cruelty they lived through. Days, also I did not understand before.I deeply feel that if there is no hatred, there will be no struggle, and there will be no revolution.Thinking back to my anti-imperialist sentiments when I was seventeen, eighteen to twenty years old, I can’t say that they were not high. Why did I become depressed in my comfort zone later on?At that time, because I witnessed the young classmates in the same class being arrested and murdered in the concession during the "May 30th" tragedy, it aroused hatred, and I had the mood of struggle and revolution.After that, everything went smoothly, and I never suffered setbacks in society, let alone oppression; on the contrary, because I was born as a small landlord, I was exploiting people's status to some extent, and I didn't have any outright hatred for the social system; Liberal intellectuals stand against a corrupt government with a pure sense of justice.This is a very naive anti-imperialist and anti-feudal thinking, and it will definitely not take the road of real revolution.Even though I once had the idea of "not worrying about inequalities rather than scarcity", I also had some yearning for a communist society, but they were all limited to fantasy.Without the spur of reality, born in a wealthy Jiangnan where conflicts between the rich and the poor are relatively small, without seeing the bloody pain of exploitation of the working class, a person will never be able to get out of the circle of the petty bourgeoisie. Even if he hopes for revolution, he still holds It is the kind of scholar's view that "we must talk about the purpose and the means".Only now, from the cause of socialist construction in the past two years, from the many excellent literary and artistic works recently, and from the few theoretical books I have read, have I begun to realize my past mistakes and rekindle the extinguished. enthusiasm.I don't want to write off my past in one stroke, saying that I want it at all, and I don't want it.But my enthusiasm for work in the past was due to my natural disposition of being uncomfortable if I didn’t work, not because I had a firm and optimistic belief in the future; I used to criticize the various measures of the government from a purely objective point of view. It is proposed from the standpoint of liberalism, not from the standpoint of seeing oneself as a member of socialist construction.In other words: the starting point is narrow, negative, and pessimistic.When I say this, I don’t mean that I have changed since then (of course you understand that I don’t think so, I have always believed that a person must live to learn); , In the process of improvement and improvement, the mood is very different, and the views are also very different. ——Your mother also deeply understands these thoughts; In fact, she awakened earlier than me, but she couldn't explain the reason; everything had to go through my own groping and observation, coupled with the objective situation, and then I would slowly but surely wake up. (My mother also followed me and swallowed literary works one by one.) Speaking of the objective situation, the progress in the past few years is simply unimaginable. Just judging from the content and text of newspapers and magazines, there is no progress compared with five or three years ago. how much.As for the achievements of capital construction, it is obvious to all, so there is no need to elaborate.Mayor Chen said it well: Intellectuals are willing to bow their heads only in front of the facts.With such a fact in front of us, who wouldn't be excited and not feel a sense of enlightenment? April 29, 1956 I am very happy that you have such a strong fighting spirit.But don't be impatient and hinder the current study.Pay more attention in the future: When insisting on the truth, you must pay attention to the way, attitude, tone, and tone of your speech.The more reason you have to do, the more relaxed your attitude and the softer your voice.Upholding the truth is a difficult struggle, and it is also an educational work; it requires good methods, methods, means, and patience.It must not be touching and misleading.These cultivations are not easy, and I am still far away.But you can study hard early! After experiencing a torment, we must improve our thinking one step further.In the future, I have to improve my work style a step further, so that I won't be wronged.It doesn't matter if a person suffers hardships and bumps, as long as he learns lessons, that's what the so-called education of life or society is all about.If you look at some outstanding party members described in literary and artistic creations, they have that kind of great patience, willing to persuade people repeatedly and meticulously, never get angry, and never force orders.This is a real good example.And with this in mind, you won't worry anymore; you'll treat struggle as your daily work.To persist, to implement, but also to be patient! At 9 a.m. on May 15, 1956, in Songgu Nunnery, Mount Huangshan The newly built houses in the hot spring area are all red, green and green palace-style, which are not in harmony with the natural environment.The Qiu Hong paint on the pillars is also so red that it is "rural", and the painted pillars and carved beams are all deceptive things.The big pillar is thick and tall, but the stone foundation underneath is very thin.The architects in our country have no artistic accomplishment, the public lacks experts, and the approval of drawings does not know the standard of beauty and ugliness.It costs a lot of money and is not aesthetically pleasing at all.The internal room allocation is also poorly designed.Compared with the houses in Lushan, it is really a world of difference.They only want to be big and beautiful; The result is big, inappropriate, and vulgar.The Huangshan Management Office has always taken good care of the tourists, but it has not solved the problem of the sedan chairs well, so that unless the people who come here are strong and able to walk from beginning to end by themselves, they have to spend a lot of money—especially When it rains.All in all, there are problems everywhere and a lack of talent everywhere.Although one hundred and twenty percent of the heart wants to do things well, limited to the ability of knowledge, it is still not good.For example, in the restaurant of Hangzhou Dahua Hotel, the tablecloths are not clean. Wouldn’t it be disgraceful for foreign guests to see them?There is a lot of dust and dirt everywhere, the things displayed are not elegant, and the staff is very few and untrained; how can it be done well!When we were there, foreign guests traveling from Beijing to Shanghai to visit Hangzhou on May Day, the rooms were all full. Although this letter was written, it could not be sent for a while.You have to wait for the weather to return to the Lion Forest, and you can go down to the hot spring after staying overnight. You have to stay at the hot spring for another night before you can go to Tangkou to take a bus to Tunxi, and you have to stay at Tunxi for another night before you can take the bus to Hangzhou.Traffic is more inconvenient than before the Anti-Japanese War.It used to take only one day from Hangzhou to Huangshan, but now it takes two days.Tickets are also very difficult to buy.They only care about building in the mountains, but don't know how to improve external traffic. Afternoon on May 24, 1956 Two, I completely agree with you to participate in the Mozart competition: first, because you are sure; second, because you don’t need to work too hard on technical [skills]; As for the conservatory asking you to do theory, I also agree.I have always felt that you are too backward in music theory, so it's good to make a surprise attack on this.Just worry that there are too many subjects, and you will not be able to make time at once; you can also complete it in two years.Because your Polish reading ability may have problems, and it is easy to misunderstand the meaning of the textbook.The most important thing at present is to arrange time well: the busier things are, the more time you need to master: be regular and be economical everywhere; At the same time, it must not hinder physical and mental health. In Mr. Jie's letter, you valued Mozart's expression very highly, saying that you have discovered some beauty that no one has ever seen before.You have to study harder to live up to his high expectations! May 31, 1956 Dear child: Received your letter on the 15th.Mr. Jie's letter has been sent back.On the 24th, I translated Teacher Jie's letter into Chinese and sent it to the Ministry of Culture. I also typed the original letter and asked for instructions.Yesterday (30th) I received Xia Yan's reply to my letter at the end of last month, and I attach it here.The few things mentioned in the letter are indeed worthy of your warning in the future.I used to tell you to be careful with what you said, but I was remiss in not emphasizing what was said about the International.Mouth must not be smooth, especially in foreign countries!Don't talk to anyone about religion.We never discuss this matter with people in China.In Europe, it is especially taboo.You must deeply understand these and keep them in your heart!For any foreigner, the reference to our own country must also be specially reserved.Even though you are very strict with yourself, you are not complacent; but because you know a little more, it is easy to rely on your talents to make things and lead people to misunderstand.I have this problem myself, and I hope to work together with you to get rid of it.Regarding the Polish music scene, you can only express your opinions face-to-face among teachers, friends and classmates; academic discussions should be free, but you should not criticize others behind the back of a third party, let alone criticize the Polish music scene to people from other countries.don't forget you Now it's not an authority in the music industry! "Also don't forget that although you are taboo in China, you are also taboo in Poland. The higher a person climbs, the more he must work hard in all aspects of life. You are young and ignorant, but as long as you have determination, rely on your understanding. It is not too difficult to learn to be sensible. June 6, 1956 We had a great time in Huangshan this time. We met the secretary-general of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee. We got along very well. When you mention Fu Cong, they all know and appreciate your achievements.Mr. Changsha of Huangshan Management Office, a sixty-two-year-old man, is in good spirits. It is not uncommon for him to walk thirty or forty miles on the mountain road every day. Eloquent, elegant and polite, not stereotyped at all, hardworking and hard on himself. I am very happy.
