Chapter 74 The Chinese people resolutely support the great patriotic struggle of the Japanese people[1]

(January 27, 1964) The anti-American demonstration held by the Japanese people on January 26 was a great patriotic movement. On behalf of the Chinese people, I would like to pay high tribute to the heroic Japanese people. Recently, a large-scale mass movement has been launched across Japan, opposing the stationing of American F-105D nuclear aircraft and nuclear submarines in Japan, demanding the withdrawal of all US military bases and the withdrawal of the US armed forces, and demanding the return of Japan's territory Okinawa[2], demanding the Abolish the Japan-US "Security Treaty" [3] and so on.All of these reflect the will and aspirations of the entire Japanese people. The Chinese people sincerely support the just struggle of the Japanese people.

Since World War II, Japan has been oppressed by U.S. imperialism politically, economically and militarily.U.S. imperialism not only oppresses Japanese workers, peasants, students, intellectuals, urban petty bourgeois, religious figures, and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, but also controls many big Japanese entrepreneurs, intervenes in Japan's foreign policy, and treats Japan as a vassal country.U.S. imperialism is the most vicious enemy of the Japanese nation. The Japanese nation is a great nation. It will never let U.S. imperialism ride on its head for a long time.Over the years, the patriotic united front of Japanese people of all walks of life against U.S. imperialist aggression, oppression and control has continued to expand. This is the most reliable guarantee for the victory of the Japanese people's anti-American patriotic struggle. The Chinese people are convinced that the Japanese people will be able to expel the U.S. imperialists from their homeland and that the Japanese people's aspirations for independence, democracy, peace and neutrality will be realized.

The people of China and Japan must unite, the people of Asian countries must unite, all oppressed peoples and oppressed nations in the world must unite, all peace-loving countries must unite, and all countries under the aggression, control, interference and bullying of US imperialism must unite. All countries and individuals should unite to form a broad united front against U.S. imperialism, defeat U.S. imperialist plans of aggression and war, and safeguard world peace. Get out of Japan, get out of the Western Pacific, get out of Asia, get out of Africa and Latin America, get out of Europe and Oceania, and get out of all the countries and places that are invaded, controlled, interfered with and bullied by it. go out!

[2] Okinawa, or Okinawa Island, is the main island of the Ryukyu Islands in the territory of Japan. It was captured by American troops in June 1945 during World War II.In 1951, according to the provisions of the San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan, the Japanese authorities agreed to hand over Okinawa to the United States for trusteeship.Since then, the Japanese people have fought for a long time to return Okinawa to Japan. On May 15, 1972, according to the agreement between the governments of the United States and Japan, the United States returned the administration of Okinawa to Japan.
