Chapter 18 Section 5 Summary

Anta's perfect imitation and surpassing model brought the most direct effect is the astonishing increase in performance. Anta's sales were only 100 million yuan in 2001 and exceeded 4.6 billion yuan in 2008, which has increased by 46 times in just seven years. It’s hard not to be amazed, especially during the three years from 2006 to 2008, Anta’s sales rose from 1.25 billion to 4.6 billion. The leap-forward growth was largely achieved by its perfect imitation and surpassing. The sportsmanship achieved after understanding the nature of the industry has injected a booster into its development.

Figure 3-16 Anta Sales
Anta, which has been following the low-end route, has never been able to get a share of the high-end market. In 2008, it acquired the distribution rights of FILA from Belle in China and officially started to seize the high-end market. Can Anta achieve the same success in the high-end market? It is still too early to draw conclusions, but no one can deny Anta's success in the Chinese market over the past decade! If Anta can continue to develop with the spirit of "never stop", in the near future, Chinese people's shoe cabinets will no longer be Adidas and Nike but Anta.
