(笑)你这样，回去想想。再重复一次，你的那种文凭思路特别幼稚、野蛮、荒谬、愚蠢！它只不过是你无知的表现，而不是你求知的光荣。你看看我写的一些文章，《新东方精神》上有一篇文章，人民日报记者对我的一个采访。我讲到了瑞士的教育体系，你看看我是怎么说瑞士的，瑞士人民百分之七八十的人不上大学，直接进入技术高中，毕业后找份好工作，一辈子生活幸福，哪儿像你这样在绝望中寻找绝望，人生怎得辉煌？ ! 钟：老师，谢谢你！ 徐：别，你别再谢我了，我要你谢我的方式，就是要求你去找到一份好工作。 钟：谢谢您，等我找到一份好工作的时候一定通知您！ 走入"胡屠"境界，唤醒今日"范进"--对话的继续 徐小平按：2002年5月底，我突然接到钟举的电话，他在电话那头急切地告诉我：徐老师，你不是让我有什么进步来告诉你吗？我已经找到工作啦！我想当面向您报告这个进步。 我正在为《图穷对话录》做最后的润色。钟举的电话，引起了我强烈的兴趣：我和他的对话，到底给他的生活带来什么后果？他的人生到底有什么进展？ 当钟举如约来到我的面前时，我真的从心底流出了幸福的眼泪。去年秋天那个疯狂而落魄的男孩不见了。站在我身边的，是一个身穿崭新的西服，头发梳得蹭亮，眼睛炯炯有神的专业人士！我怀疑地说：你是钟举吗？ 我流泪，是因为替他的母亲高兴。亲爱的母亲，你的儿子，终于在北京找到了自己的位置，而不会在"留学"的绝路上，一直走到您心血耗干、体衰力竭！你的儿子，有出息啦！ 下面是我和他的谈话。这次，我们谈了更多别人的问题。以及另外一个话题，他的爱情观。 徐：我们上次关于"胡屠夫"的争论成为一个经典的人生对话，正如我曾和你提到的那个在加拿大超市里从事肉品分割的人，他们证明在普通的岗位上是一样可以做出了不起的成就。你给我留下了深刻的印象--江苏老乡，有执著的追求，英俊的外表。讲讲你离开我以后的生活和经历。 钟：上次和您谈完以后，一开始的时候感觉很别扭，怎么也想不通，回到家和父母谈，再加上自己的思考与走上社会以后感受到的现实，我慢慢认识到您说得很有道理。我下个月就要毕业了，三月份的时候，无意中听到平安保险北京分公司通州营业部通州大厦缺人，要到我们学校来搞招聘会，我马上决定报名参加应聘，但是我们班同学和班主任知道后都来找我，劝我说："你这个人别太财迷了！""我怎么财迷了？""才第一个公司来招聘你就迫不及待地想去工作，就这么缺钱花吗？""不是因为缺钱，我认为1)这份工作的薪水吸引了我。下不设底，上不封顶，报酬与业绩挂钩；2)这份工作能够锻炼与人交往的能力，如果我在保险公司工作，要挨家挨户去"串门"，需要和不同的人接触。出于这两点，我一定要去。"现在我已经上班两个多月了，虽然并没有拿到很多工资，但是我感觉自己的各种能力确实得到了提高，至少以前我见到陌生人非常胆怯，现在已经不那么害怕了。 徐：你这份工作具体都做些什么？ 钟：业务推销。 徐：卖保险？公司对你进行业务培训了吗？ 钟：已经做过最基础的培训，下个月我要参加全国保险代理人资格考试，本来需要工作两年以后才有资格参加这个资格考试，但是因为美国"友邦"保险今年五月一日进入北京市场，于是保监会临时规定，五月一日以后，凡是想从事保险行业的人员，没有保险代理人资格证一律不得上岗，而我正好是五月一日以前上班的，所以侥幸就赶上了不用考试就可直接工作的最后一班车。 徐：你有信心拿下这个执照吗？ 钟：应该没有问题。 徐：拿下执照以后有没有最低的保底工资？ 钟：三个月试用期内工资是每个月600元，试用期以后就没有底薪，全部靠拿提成。 徐：你试用期期间签单了吗？ 钟：签了两个。我第一个月挣了600，第二个月挣了710。 徐：好像一个推销员如果能有二三百个客户，基本上收入就能保障了，是吗？ 钟：(笑)不仅是有保障，而且是相当可观。保险业有一套严格的业绩考核和提升的标准。比如，连续四个月每月都能拿到一万或者两万保额的话，就可以从一个普通的业务员升职到资深业务员，如果每个月的保额再高一点，可以由资深业务员做到主任、高级主管、督导，督导是一个区里最高的领导。 徐：但你意识到这其中有风险存在吗？ 钟：肯定有。最大的风险就是工资收入没有保障。 徐：那你现在对于留学、学位怎么看？ 钟：我觉得还是应该现实一点。 徐：这是一种被迫还是一种积极的选择？ 钟：坦白地说，既有积极的，也有被迫的。积极的是上次和您的谈话使我自己认识到工作是我现在最好的选择；被迫是因为自己刚从大学校门里出来，没有任何经验，如果选择留学，也不是特别现实。 徐：你说的是同一个问题，其实这都是自愿的选择。从自己的实际情况出发，你从被迫同意到主动接受这个观点--先工作，再来追求你自己的梦想，这绝对是正确的选择！你刚才讲的被迫是因为你内心并没有放弃留学梦，我也不让你放弃！不让你放弃硕士甚至博士的梦，你还得去追求它，问题在于选择怎样的人生道路。你今天走过来，精神气质和上次完全不一样，完全彻底的不一样了。五年以后你有可能成为"友邦"保险公司的精英，优秀的人才，也许就决定不出国了；而且，工作五年以后你有可能有足够的积蓄，足够的经验，出国读一个保险的硕士学位。 钟：我上次也说过，我现在的学历只是大专，我想利用业余时间来学习大本的课程，一边工作一边学习。 徐：当然可以，但是你目前下决心要做的是把工作做好，对吗？ 钟：(点头) 徐：如果你发现这份工作很适合你，那么你在未来的一到三年之内，就要把全部的精力投入工作。读书我不反对，但是它绝对不能影响你的工作。 钟：对。 徐：比如笑容是天生的，俞老师一笑挺阴险，谁会把保险卖给他？每个人的笑容不一样，每个人天生的资质也不一样。所以，你要用自己天生的资质去和别人对话，去开拓业务。比如你现在的样子，肯定能够讨中年妇女的喜爱。对不起，我是想说……(被打断)钟：确实是这样。刚开始我们主任带我去做业务的时候，有一家是女主人开的门，她把我们主任挡在外面，只让我进去。 徐：(大笑)歌星、影星总有一个特定的观众层，林志颖适合13岁的小妹妹；17岁的花季少女为郭富城倾倒；黎明被20岁左右的小姑娘疯狂追逐；崔健深得80岁的老太太和小男孩的喜爱。不同的人有不同的价值。你应该找准自己的位置，认真地把握自己。我曾看过一本书，日本最伟大的保险推销员，大概身高只有1.50米……(被打断)钟：我们培训的时候也讲了他的故事，原一平，他受过很多耻辱，以至后来只要他一出门，别人就会指指点点，"那个推销员又来了"。他内心特别压抑，但还是忍下来了，最终成为日本保险界最成功的推销员。 徐：他得到了国家最高奖章，而且福田纠夫首相为他的自传写了序，其中提道"身为首相的我，得到的奖章比他的档次要低两级"。这就是在贫瘠和悲惨的环境下却做出了伟大的人生成就，你如果能够做到这一点，就是个伟人，至少你比俞敏洪英俊多了。(笑)钟：我还有一个胆怯的问题，挨家挨户敲门我不怕，我最怕的就是到酒店写字楼里去推销保险。 徐：为什么？档次不高，这就是文化素质问题。今天的你和半年前已经完全不一样了，在我眼中，你是一个极优秀的小伙子，但还不是顶尖的，你完全可以在一年到两年之内成为顶尖的北京白领成功者。你现在已经成功了，就顺着这个势头走下去，不要忘了，买保险的都是中年妇女，讨人喜欢不是罪过，遵守你的职业标准，然后忠实于你的客户，这就是幸福生活！ 钟：我在北京没有亲戚，认识的人很少。 徐：不要找这种借口，要把困难当作自己的优势。在北京熟人很少对不对？但是俞敏洪在北京没有熟人，杨延庆在北京也没有熟人，熟人帮不了你什么忙，就算是"杀熟"又能杀几个？ 钟：我们主任是个女的，毕业于河北燕郊那边一个职高，今年三十一岁，进入保险行业还不到5年，她现在的月薪是三万五。 徐：(惊讶)真的？ ! 钟：她是蓝鲸会员，在保险界，如果一个业务员能够连续几个月签订保额达到几万的话，可以成为终身的蓝鲸会员。她现在每个月拿到的最低收入是三万五，而且是税后收入，因为保险行业属于高税收行业，所以这很重要。知道了她的经历以后，我不由感慨，她只是一个职高的毕业生。 徐：多伟大呀！ 钟：但是，让我很不理解的是，当我同我的班主任讲这一番话的时候，她批评我钻到了钱眼里，我告诉她，"不是的，因为我要活得现实一些。一个人如果连自己最低的生活保障都没有，只能给社会带来负担，而不可能为社会创造财富、做出贡献。 徐：但是，人活着并不仅仅是完成一个生活保障，而应该有更高的追求。我问你，你的老师反对你钻到钱眼里，那么她鼓励你去怎样做？ 钟：她鼓励我现在就去参加自学考试，什么时候拿到大本学历，什么时候再去工作。 徐：这个老师本身就是一个失败者！ 钟：不光老师这样认为，而且我们班很多同学都有同样的想法。有一个女孩子，家庭特别贫困，父母双双下岗，保险公司希望她去上班，她拒绝了。不是说她不适合干保险，相反，她有很多优势，身材高挑而且很漂亮。但是她说："我什么时候拿到自考本科文凭和学士学位以后我再考虑上班工作。"她的想法和我当初一样，我问她，如果这需要五六年的时间呢？ 徐：(惊讶)需要那么长时间？ 钟：她说她要把绝大部分时间用在学习上，自考期间去打零工，正式工作一定要等到拿到本科文凭以后再找。我认为这就是您所说的教育体制的悲哀。现在的学校依然重复着这种教育，并且还崇尚这种精神。不光是黄浦大学，所有参加自学考试的这种民办大学都存在着这种现象。这样的例子太多太多了，如果您有时间，可以到北京图书馆的自习室里走一走，我曾在那里碰到一个男生，他已经二十八岁了，还在自考本科，我问他："是否工作了？""没有。""自考过了几门？""三门。""还有几门？""十二门。""你准备什么时候工作？""什么时候考完本科，什么时候工作。""你不工作不会给父母造成负担吗？""没关系，我父母说了，只要我能拿下本科文凭，砸锅卖铁也要供我。再说，我没有本科学历能干什么？""你有了本科学历就一定能找到一份好工作吗？""我觉得至少有这个希望。""我劝你还是先工作一段时间，实话告诉你，就算你拿到本科学历，你也不可能马上去坐办公室，也需要从最底层的工作开始，重头开始。因为现实状况就是这样，这两年大学连年扩招，大学生就业形势已经不如前几年乐观了。所以我认为，有个工作就干，干一行爱一行是最现实的做法，就算你卖糖水卖好了，一样可以挤进世界五百强！"徐：(望着眼前的杯子感叹)可口可乐呀，开什么玩笑？ ! "娃哈哈"当初不也就是一个小工厂吗？ 钟：他还是不服气，于是我就用您当初给我举的例子，我问他："国美听说过吗？""听说过。""国美的老总是什么学历你知道吗？""我不知道，但至少应该是本科。""错了，他连小学都没有毕业！""不可能！""这是事实。""那情况不一样。""不，是因为你钻进了牛角尖，这对你没有好处。"……后来因为这个问题，我们俩个吵起来了，我想我和他根本不认识，没有必要为这个大伤和气。 徐：(拍着钟的肩膀)精彩精彩。如果你到了三十岁，月薪超过你的主任，一个月赚到五万三的时候，你会如何来看待学历？ 钟：学历没有也是不可以的，但是如果过分地认为只有先拥有学历以后才能拥有一切，也是不现实的，因为这个社会毕竟还是更加看重能力而不是学历，所从事的职业也并不一定和专业对口，例如太平洋保险公司北京分公司的老总毕业于首师大中文系。 徐：漂亮，说得漂亮，精彩之极！你思想的转折与和我的对话有关。但是，你刚才实际上已经形成了你明确的人生观、价值观和奋斗方向，这是人生最最幸福的一个状态。 钟：我的奋斗观是：哪个行业好赚钱我就从事哪个行业，当赚了大钱有了一定基础以后，我再去追求自己的梦想。 徐：这是人生的最终极的目的。 钟：但是我这个想法只敢跟您讲，和别人是不敢提的，我怕别人认为我是一个利欲熏心的人。 徐：但这是人生的终极真理，我表示支持和赞赏，从按自己的能力去挣钱而言，这个想法一点没错。比如说李嘉诚，又比如说胡屠夫。当你刚才鼓足勇气说出这一番话的时候，你只是说出了一个极其浅显的道理，但是你面对的是一个庞大的巨兽般的社会，你知道这个社会一定会反对你的想法，其实这正体现了他们的陈旧与落后，如同阴影一样，太阳一出来就没了，不堪一击。如果你按这条路走下去，未来会有什么潜在的危机、困难甚至失败呢？ 钟：潜在的危机我想是我恐惧突然有一天公司下发一项规定：没有达到本科学历的员工一律下岗。还有，我现在虽然进入了这个圈子，但是我怀疑自己没有能力广交朋友，拉不到客户，这是现在最主要担心的问题。 徐：第一个担心是非常愚蠢的，绝对不要有这种担心，原因很简单，因为现在是市场经济。这就是为什么我的对话或者说我的
