1. Your body, your home We want you to think of your body as a home, a home for yourself. If we start thinking about the similarities between our body and our home, we realize that the two are extremely similar, even more like twins.Your home, like your body, is an important investment you've made, both provide a home for priceless personal possessions, and they're places you want to protect with all your might. 2. Heartbeat still: heart and arteries Repeated high-fat meals greatly increased the possibility of heart attack. He felt pain in his right shoulder in the middle of the night, intense fatigue rather than chest pain typical of heart disease, so he did not think it was a heart attack. He even smoked a cigarette while friends drove him to the hospital. When the pain temporarily subsided, he almost walked out of the emergency room and went home. (If he does, it will probably be the last time he goes home, because this heart attack was bad. Even smart people tend not to treat their bodies as well as their cars—which is exactly what The reason we wrote this book.)

3. Do you care: brain and nervous system Some women like to say that men think with their lower body.We don't know if that's the case, but we do know that brains and male genitalia are similar in at least one respect—size isn't everything. The size of the human brain is influenced by genetic factors, not a reflection of intelligence. In fact, Einstein's brain weighed only 1,200 grams, a full 10% less than average. 4. Motor control: bones, joints and muscles Bones, joints, and muscles together make up the human body's locomotor system. With the exercise system, people can walk their dogs, play golf, and run.The reason why your bones are as strong as steel is that the motor system has contributed to the growth of them. You may not worry much about your bones, joints and muscles right now, but they can have a huge impact on your old age.For example, what's the point of having the heart of an astronaut and the brain of an Einstein if you can't even get up and walk out of the bathroom!

5. Lungs and healthy living There are only three times in life that most people think about their breathing problems: when there is a bad smell (such as onions mixed with rotten eggs), when they are extremely dangerous (such as a snake), and when they are exhausted (such as after strenuous exercise or wedding night).Other than these times, one pays as little attention to breathing as to a singer's back-up dancer. As the body's main ventilation system, respiration is responsible for the smooth flow of air throughout the human home.Like heating and air conditioning, breathing works so naturally that we don't notice it, take it for granted.

6. Stomach feeling: digestive system We certainly know that the human digestive system is anything but clean, especially when words like colon, rectum, and excrement come to mind. But talking about these things openly is the most important thing, because a well-oiled and maintained digestive system can improve the quality of life and make you live younger. 7. Healthy Sex Life: About the Reproductive System Most of us know about the relationship between the penis and the vagina—the penis is the car parked in the vagina's garage. But you can't get the car into the garage once it's turned off in the driveway, and you can't get in if the garage door is closed. We need the power to fulfill the union of the sexes, as far as males and females are concerned (especially males), nothing is possible without high-quality blood flow.Of course charisma is the first step towards this goal.

8. Common sense questions: about the sensory system The biggest difference between sensory organs and other organs is this: if the sensory organs are not functioning properly, it does not mean life-threatening, but life-changing.If the heart stops working, so does your life, but not your sense organs. 9. The feeling of being sick: about the immune system In the end, the battle kills the bacteria, but it also sacrifices the T cells and B cells, leaving behind a mess (this is called the cell suicide mechanism, and T cells and B cells destroy themselves to prevent them from harming healthy cells). This pool of waste puts pressure under the skin, creating white pus from the red supply lines that provide new blood to the battle and the white blood cells that respond to it.The leftover waste from the battle rises like a volcano to the skin's surface to form pimples.

10. This Gland and Yourself: About Hormones As much as we like to associate hormones with our teenage years, hormones play a role in everything we do, from how we handle stress, to how we absorb fat, to how we reproduce.Actually our hormones and the glands that secrete them are all part of a rather complex process. If these hormones go awry, then things can get dire. 11. Cells that go crazy: cancer Cancer cells are originally normal cells, but something inside them has turned them bad. They're like a bunch of hooligans who invade your body. They may be fine at first, but something inside them turns them so that they don't care about the laws that harmonize your body.Of course, your immune system acts as your body's police force to destroy these bad cells, but cancer cells are hard to catch.

12. Wholesome recipes Changing your eating habits is like updating your home - whether it's updating an outdated kitchen appliance, patching a hole in your roof, or rearranging your furniture, you must constantly update, upgrade, maintain, repair, and beautify your s room. You make these changes because it makes your home function and feel better. Why don't you think about your body in the same way?
