Zhang Zhanhu (1911-1936), born in Yuhuangyan, Xiagaoyan Township, Yaoxian County, had a poor family when he was a child, and worked at home with his father. In October 1936, Ren Shulin, the former captain of the Eighth Detachment of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Guerrilla Army, was arrested in Rangyi Village.Zhang Zhanhu led the guerrillas to launch a fierce attack on the enemy in Rangyi Village. Unfortunately, he was shot in the abdomen and blood gushed out.He wrapped the wound tightly with a belt, still commanding the battle calmly.After a night of fierce fighting, he was exhausted, his intestines flowed out from the wound, and he died a heroic sacrifice at the age of twenty-five.
