Chapter 57 Wang Bodong

Wang Baidong (1910-1938), a native of Shang County, Shaanxi Province.He served as a soldier in Feng Yuxiang's department in his early years. Joined the Communist Party of China in 1930, and later joined the Red Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants. In July 1933, he served as the company commander of the fourth company of the fourth regiment of the Red Twenty-sixth Army and the political commissar of the fourth regiment of the Red Army. In August 1933, he participated in the Chenjiapo meeting held in Chenjiapi, the Shanxi-Gansu Bianzhaojin revolutionary base.Advocating that the Red Army disperse its actions was criticized by the comrades present at the meeting.

In the winter of 1934, he went home for treatment due to illness.After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he went to the front line of the Anti-Japanese War with illness and served as the Secretary of the Working Committee of the Shangluo District of the Communist Party of China. On July 25, 1938, he was secretly murdered by traitors in Shang County.
