When he was a child, Ma Yinchu wanted to study very much, and he even wanted to study in a big city.Ma Yinchu was born intelligent, and his father hoped that he would inherit the family business of the "wine shop" and learn how to do business. In order to study, Ma Yinchu was often reprimanded, beaten, and punished by his father to kneel down, but Ma Yinchu insisted that "I will go to school even if I kneel down" and "I will not do business even if I am beaten to death."In order to avoid his father's beating and scolding, Ma Yinchu even hid in the chicken coop.Ma Yinchu was deeply hurt by his father's arrogance. Seeing that he had no hope of studying, he ran out of town in a fit of anger and plunged into Huang Zejiang. Fortunately, he was rescued, and Ma Yinchu got a blessing in disguise.Just at this time, Zhang Jiangsheng, an old friend of his father, came to Sheng County from Shanghai to visit relatives and friends.Knowing this, he felt that the fifth child of the Ma family was ambitious, so he persuaded Ma Yinchu's father.Ma Yinchu recognized Zhang Jiangsheng as his godfather and followed him to study in Shanghai.Since then, Ma Yinchu's life has been changed.

In 1919, Ma Yinchu returned to the motherland. With the ideal of "strengthening the country and enriching the people", he supported progress and advocated innovation. He declared that "one will not be an official, and the other is not to get rich". He devoted himself to the research of China's economic issues and the cultivation of economic talents. On the anniversary of Peking University in 1927, Ma Yinchu delivered a speech on "The Spirit of Peking University": "...This kind of spirit without scruples despite the axe and ax can destroy the country, but this spirit should never die. However, if there is spirit, there must be doctrine. The so-called Peking University advocates mean sacrifice. To serve the country and society, to disregard one's own self-interest, to go forward bravely to achieve the highest goal."
