Ma Yinchu was described by public opinion as "Ma Yinchu roaring like a lion" because he exposed the four major families. In the spring of 1940, the Army University in the suburbs of Chongqing invited Ma Yinchu to give a lecture on "Financial Issues in the Anti-Japanese War" to the class of generals. Many of these generals and trainees were transferred from the front for training.Ma Yinchu spoke for more than two hours. He said that the War of Resistance Against Japan is at a critical juncture of the survival of the Chinese nation, and the whole country should have the money to contribute money, have the strength to contribute, and work with one heart and one mind to face the national calamity. But this is not the case now. Now the "lower class" contributes, the "middle class" contributes money, and the "upper class" neither pays nor contributes. There is also a kind of "upper class" relying on their power, using state economic secrets to engage in foreign exchange speculation, and making a lot of super national wealth. He publicly called out his names and pointed out: "The 'upper class' who are inferior to pigs and dogs are Kong Xiangxi and Song Ziwen and their ilk." He also said: "Kong Xiangxi and Song Ziwen must be dismissed, and their unjust family wealth must be used as funds for the war of resistance. The speech aroused strong repercussions among the generals, and warm applause broke out from time to time during the meeting. The host was so frightened that he didn't even dare to say more words of thanks, so he hurriedly sent Ma Yinchu away.

Chiang Kai-shek was very angry when he knew that Ma Yinchu had set fire to his confidant's school. In the autumn of 1940, Chiang Kai-shek "summoned" Ma Yinchu but was rejected.Kong Xiangxi then lured him and asked him to be the Minister of Finance, but was rejected again. On December 6, 1940, Chiang Kai-shek sent military police to break into the school and arrest him. Then the Central News Agency issued the fake news that "Legislative Councilor Ma Yinchu was ordered to go to the front to study the economic situation in the war zone, and he has already started his journey".In fact, he was imprisoned in a ravine in the concentration camp of the Xifeng Army in Guizhou.

After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Ma Yinchu inspected China’s wartime economy as an expert, and was extremely dissatisfied with the military and political officials of the Kuomintang who made national disasters and wealth. The spearhead is directed at the Kong and Song families. On March 30, 1941, Ma Yinchu's 60th birthday, people from all walks of life in Chongqing held a birthday party for him without birthday stars.Under the leadership of the underground party, college students in Chongqing organized a grand birthday celebration for Ma Yinchu. The three top leaders of the CCP's office in Chongqing, Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, and Deng Yingchao, sent a huge couplet to show their solidarity. The couplet said: Tao Li Zenghua, sitting in the tent without cranes; playing piano and books as companions, and supporting the bed with turtles. In August 1942, Zhou Enlai and others carried out many rescues, but Chiang Kai-shek did not buy it.Afterwards, President Roosevelt's special envoy Hurley also requested Chiang's release. Hurley was a classmate of Ma Yinchu when he was studying in the United States. He was placed under house arrest at his home in Geleshan, and Ma Yinchu was not allowed to teach or publish articles, cutting off his livelihood financially.

During the Anti-Japanese War, Ma Yinchu criticized Chiang Kai-shek in the face of Jiang Song, Kong Chen's actions to make a fortune for the country: "Some people say that Chairman Jiang is a national hero. I don't think he is qualified. He can only be regarded as the family hero of their Chiang family. If he To be a national hero, you must do the four words of righteousness and extermination of relatives..." Ma Yinchu was upright, and his sharp speeches exposed the corruption of the Kuomintang in broad daylight, and there was nowhere to hide the ugliness.Chiang Kai-shek once said that Ma Yinchu was a "bandit in Shengxian County" when he was in a state of desperation, and Ma Yinchu said that he was "a strong way in Shengxian County", that is, a powerful principle, and Chiang Kai-shek and his like were not "the great way is for the public" but "the robbers are for private interests". He is eloquent and admired by the whole country.

After the victory of the Anti-Chengdu War, Ma Yinchu continued to oppose the bureaucratic capitalism of the four big families, and denounced the Kuomintang government for betraying national interests. When the news came that Li Gongpu and Wen Yiduo had been assassinated by Kuomintang agents, Ma Yinchu was very angry. He wrote a suicide note and bid farewell to everyone. He went to Nanjing Central University to give a lecture in a blue cloth gown, exposing the crimes of the Kuomintang reactionaries in launching the civil war with a lot of facts. When it comes to soaring prices, naming names and criticizing Chiang Kai-shek effectively promoted the anti-Chiang patriotic democratic movement in the Kuomintang-controlled areas at that time.

Ma Yinchu once had a very famous saying: Chiang Kai-shek's bare head is like a "light bulb", with a vacuum inside and no way to get in from the outside.
