Comrade Li Yisan, Counselor of the State Council, was formerly the director of the Personnel Department of Renmin University of China. In 1957, when I spoke at a symposium for non-Party people at Renmin University, he sat beside me, and he still remembered the content of my speech.He has a lot of complaints about the fact that the relevant parties have not corrected the rightist issue for me for a long time. In the summer of 1981, Comrade Li Yisan wrote a material to the Premier of the State Council in his capacity as a counselor of the State Council, reporting that I was wrongly classified as a rightist.This material was transferred to the Beijing Municipal Party Committee through the General Office of the State Council and the General Office of the Central Committee.It is said that a leading comrade of the Municipal Party Committee instructed on this material: Discuss it again.The Municipal Party Committee sent special personnel to visit Comrade Nie Zhen and Comrade Li Yisan and conducted an investigation.At that time, Comrade Zhang Tengxiao, leader of the Party committee and vice president of Renmin University of China, also advocated re-studying my "review conclusion".

On March 18, 1982, the party committee of Renmin University of China sent me the "Review Conclusion on Comrade Ge Peiqi's 1957 Anti-Rightist Movement".Its main content is: "Review and correct the problem of Ge Peiqi's classification as a rightist in 1957. Reverse the decision to classify Ge Peiqi as a rightist in 1957, restore her political reputation, and restore the original salary of the sixth grade of higher education from October 1978 ". The conclusion of this review only stated that "the problem of Ge Peiqi's classification as a rightist in 1957 will be reviewed and corrected."What was the result of the review?Did you make a mistake?Regarding this essential problem, the conclusion of the re-examination did not explain it, which is a legacy problem.

In the summer of 1985, newspapers published solutions to the remaining problems of rehabilitating unjust, false and wrongly decided cases.According to this method, I filed a complaint with the Beijing Municipal Party Committee on June 14, 1985, requesting to resolve the above-mentioned problems left over from the conclusion of the review. On February 6, 1986, the General Office of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China notified: "The problem of Comrade Ge Peiqi being classified as a rightist in 1957 is a misclassification, which must be corrected." So far, my misclassification as a rightist has been completely corrected.
