Chapter 67 commemoration and wishes

It's another golden autumn time of the year. The green leaves start to turn yellow, and the red leaves start to turn red again.During the harvest season, this little book of mine, after more than a year of creation and revision, is finally published. In July 2004, the first book "Undercover Adventure - My Fourth Narrow Escape" (China Federation of Literary and Art Publishing House, July 2004 edition), which recorded my journalism experience in the South, was finally published after three years of hard work. Listed, the reader response is extremely strong. Beginning on July 3, "West China Metropolis Daily" exclusively serialized it, and then more than 30 best-selling newspapers reprinted it one after another. At the same time, dozens of newspapers such as Sina Reading, "Xi'an Evening News", "Jinling Evening News" and "City Express" serialized it; In particular, Sina Reading, after launching the serialized version of this book in the most prominent position, due to the active participation of readers, it quickly entered the "Super Popularity List". "Beijing Evening News", "Beijing Entertainment Letter" and "Beijing Youth Weekly" and other newspapers gave reports on my tortuous experience. Many readers expressed their support and comfort in different ways for my rough news experience as a wandering reporter and the resulting encounters. In a short period of time, I have received nearly 6,000 letters and e-mails of various types.

The care and support of these enthusiastic readers, like the sunshine in winter, warms my heart. At the same time, their enthusiasm always moves me and inspires me. A veteran general in the Nanjing Military Region who was over seventy years old said in a letter of solidarity to me: As a veteran soldier, I am proud of having a comrade in arms like you, and proud of your justice!I hope you will continue to go forward bravely and use the pen in your hand to speak out for the common people and uphold justice! My comrades and I fully support you! One netizen wrote: Ishino, you are the pride of a soldier! You are the pride of the reporter! You are the pride of the Chinese people! You are the pride of justice!Another netizen wrote: Reporter Shi, your deeds are moving, and your sense of justice is even more admirable.Hope you can continue your righteous cause, we support you!

A reader in Shenzhen left a message on the Internet: I am willing to buy all the assets of the company to assist Mr. Ishino in the lawsuit, and left an email address behind. There are also readers who put forward such suggestions on the Internet: the real experience is the most attractive, and it is suggested to make it into a TV series and broadcast it, and the title of the drama should be called "Undercover Reporter". The compliments my readers gave me made me sweat and feel extremely ashamed.I am not the embodiment of justice, let alone a warrior. I am just an ordinary reporter, a wandering reporter with no establishment, no labor insurance and no status. And I have many readers who support me and need me.Especially my journalist colleagues, while expressing support and solidarity, many people got in touch with me.A colleague from Dalian wrote: I read your book for a whole day. Your experience is worth learning. I respect your professionalism. I hope all journalists can read your book. .A reporter from Shandong wrote: I am deeply moved and sincerely admire your unusual experience in journalism! You are the conscience of Chinese journalists! What touched me even more was that a reporter surnamed Wang from Xiantao, Hubei, saw my manuscript on Sina.com, and went to local bookstores to buy books many times. Since the book was out of stock, he could not buy it locally, so he tried to buy it from A friend borrowed a new book, took the whole book to make copies, and then bound it for storage.

If the first book is a record of my adventures in the south, then this book is my bumpy growth process. Its style and content are in line with my first book, or it can be regarded as a sequel.Although it also records some of my experience as a reporter in the south, although there are a few repetitions in the content, most of them are completely different and independent interview stories. If my first two books were "revealing the dark side and the content was too sensitive" as some people worried about, then my third book seems to be "clean". The manuscript of "Career" has basically been completed at present, and most of the content is not so sensitive news, among which I exclusively disclosed "the inside story of the true and false news of the poet Wang Guo"; Sue the Ministry of Education of China", "Zhejiang Old Photographer Sues TCL", "China's First Online Auction Lawsuit", which I first disclosed, and "A Teenager Killed a Man, the Internet The Game Killed Him", "The Beijing Suburban Policewoman Dealing With Blood Fingerprints", "The Inside Story of Singer Mao Ning's Assassination", "Why Didn't the Tian Yong Public Welfare Hotline Get Hot? " and "The Inside Story of the Extraordinary Beijing Fraudulent Marriage Case" and other sensational cases. Most of these strange news events are related to the law. Buy copyright at a price that makes my heart beat.

These three manuscripts constitute my trilogy of public opinion supervision reportage, which is my wandering journey from Yangcheng to Kyoto, north and south for ten years, and is the trajectory of my journalistic journey.I just want to record the road I have traveled and the things I have done, just like our interviews, so that the truth can be presented to everyone. I am a rural youth with little schooling, a small soldier without a diploma, and under the tempering of society, I have grown into a reporter who uses a pen as a gun and news as his lifelong career. In the process of implementing public opinion supervision, I have suffered all kinds of setbacks and tribulations, emotions and struggles, but I have no complaints or regrets. I hope that my news experience can give colleagues a little bit of inspiration and thinking.Recording these facts is also a special commemoration of my bloody and tearful youth, and a thorough spiritual and physical baptism of the forever indelible life and death interview experience!

I hope that these processes of my implementation of public opinion supervision can provide some living material and inspiration for future Chinese news legislation. Although I am still a wandering reporter with no staff and no protection, but for the journalism I love, "No matter if there is a minefield or a cliff in front of me, I will go forward bravely, and I will not hesitate to break my bones!" At this point, I can't help but look to the east, and express my highest gratitude to my hometown in Daye, eastern Hubei, thousands of miles away, to the white-haired mother and neighbors who are still hunched over and silently working in the countryside— — Without their straight backs and their charitable dispositions, I would not be what I am today.

At the end of this article, I would like to dedicate this little book to my old father—my father, who was just 60 years old, was unfortunately diagnosed with terminal cancer in early July this year. However, my father, who has become a Buddhist disciple, is extremely optimistic. Life and death are as light as water.Facing the eldest son who was full of melancholy and sighing, my father always comforted me with a smile: life and death are like the green leaves of trees withering; death is like going to heaven, there is nothing to be afraid of.My biggest wish at this time is to hope that you can do more good things for the common people within your ability, and if you do a good deed every day, you will surely accumulate blessings. In my lifetime, if you can write a few more good books and use them as my pillow to sleep forever, that will be the greatest comfort to me...

Facing my increasingly frail father, I secretly wiped my tears with respect.Holding these two little books, I silently wish... Thanks to Kang Hong from China Founder Publishing House and Mr. Dai Dong from China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House, brother Hou Xiaoqiang, deputy editor-in-chief of Sina, and Liu Yan, my friend and talented young female writer, for their great help. Thanks to Zhang Lei and Tian Xiaotong of Beijing Youth Weekly (Tian Xiaotong provided photos for this book). Special thanks to Professor Wang Weizhong, deputy to the Ninth and Tenth National People's Congress. He not only paid attention to my case of the first reporter's private prosecution in the country, but also happily wrote the preface to this little book.I believe that China's news supervision law will be promulgated in the near future. This is the expectation of our journalists, and it is also the wish of many deputies to the National People's Congress like Professor Wang.
