Why can't the stories of the older generation of revolutionaries and leaders be written more vividly and vividly so that they can be disseminated to the public? On the eve of the fifty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic, I had the opportunity to create this work that reflects the great achievements of Comrade Yu Qiuli, a pioneer and leader of China's oil industry, a proletarian revolutionist, and an outstanding leader in China's economic work and military political work.

When I approached the "one-armed general" Yu Qiuli, I was deeply conquered by the fiery revolutionary passion, fiery revolutionary drive, and fiery revolutionary character of this legendary figure!Especially when Yu Qiuli was the Minister of Petroleum and led the world-famous Daqing Petroleum Battle during the arduous and overwhelming "Red Classic" event, I often immersed myself in the joy of creation. and excited. The Battle of Daqing is a great epic in the history of New China that can be called a long march in the period of peace and construction. The spirit of Daqing created by it is still shining with immortal light even today.Undoubtedly, it is an important part of the spirit of the Chinese nation and an important spiritual wealth of our party.

While writing this work, I just discovered: In the past, we knew too little about the Daqing Battle and the discovery process of the Daqing Oilfield.The movie "Entrepreneurship" and Iron Man Wang Jinxi may have been the main sources and main impressions of our previous understanding of Daqing, but compared with the entire epic of the Daqing oil battle, they are only a few bright spots but not all.The magnificent and little-known facts of the Daqing Battle were only discovered and excavated when I was writing this work.It excites me, excites me, and I will never forget the great spirit and ambition of those predecessors who made heroic sacrifices for the Republic to get rid of poverty and prosper, "I would rather live less than 20 years, but also win the big oil fields". This kind of greatness and heroic ambition is exactly the precious national spirit that we still need very much today!

To write about the human feelings, humanity and personality of the revolutionary leaders is what I tried to accomplish during the creation of this work.I hope readers can feel this way when reading this work. It needs to be specially explained that the Battle of Daqing is an epic with a grand scene and a long history. This article mainly focuses on the activities of Comrade Yu Qiuli.
