Zhidan County is the hometown of Liu Zhidan, a mass leader and national hero. Zhidan County was once the capital of the Party Central Committee and the Chinese Soviet Central Government. During the more than half a year when the central government established the capital in Zhidan County, it overcame extremely difficult living difficulties, kept the world in mind, planned strategies, continuously deepened the work of the united front, further consolidated and expanded the base area, and made correct decisions and participated in solving the world-shocking crisis. The Xi'an Incident opened up a new situation of national unity and resistance against Japan.At the same time, the unity within the party was strengthened, the second and fourth front armies went north smoothly, commanded the general division of the three armies, and produced a new leadership group of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission.

In Hongdu Zhidan, Mao Zedong and other central leaders accepted the interview of American reporter Snow, and publicized the real situation of the Red Soviet Area of ​​the Chinese Communist Party and its anti-Japanese proposition to the whole world, winning the sympathy and support of the international community.In Hongdu Zhidan, Ding Ling initiated and established the China Literature and Art Association, starting a new creation of revolutionary literature and art.In Hongdu Zhidan, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held 21 meetings of the Politburo and decided a series of major issues related to China's destiny and future. All of these cannot be ignored in the history of the Chinese Red Revolution.

As people who work and live in Zhidan, we especially like to interpret the world through writing. We have the responsibility and obligation to explore and record this glorious history, so that we can contribute our part to the cultural construction of Zhidan. With modest efforts, we will add bricks and tiles to build a prosperous, civilized and harmonious Xinzhidan.In the past two years, the two of us have read hundreds of books and materials related to Hongdu Zhidan; interviewed dozens of old Red Army, old leaders, and old experts who knew the history of the year; ; also countless times to verify the various details of the Party Central Committee's activities in Zhidan.On the basis of mastering a large number of historical facts, we wrote with our hearts, and it took two spring and autumn to finally complete the book.Although writing is very hard and tiring, our hearts are always full of warmth and strength: the Chinese revolution has achieved a great turning point here, and the Chinese revolution has opened a new page here!
