The reality tells us that at a time when people's hearts are increasingly degraded, hypocrisy, cruelty, deceit, utilitarianism and other immoral behaviors are rampant.Immersed in such an environment, I have more or less acquired some bad habits.The Wenchuan earthquake on May 12 last year changed me. From the moment I was buried deep in the ruins, I embarked on a path of self-salvation. People will re-examine themselves only when their lives are threatened, their freedom is lost, and they have no food or drink.During those seventy-plus dark hours, fear and pain tormented me, and I was powerless and almost recalled the events of my forty-odd years.In the state of dying, I came to a conclusion: the fame and fortune I was striving for were so worthless.In the end, what made me persevere was love, the love of relatives and friends, and the love of many people who cared about me.My young daughter is touching my heart, my wife's tears, my parents' calls, my friends' reluctance...and my grandmother in heaven also send me messages of love.Love eventually triumphed over fear and weakness and kept me going.Thousands of people, known or unknown, gave their lives to save me.Those young soldiers risked their lives to dig me out of the ruins more than five meters deep. What a great love!My life is illuminated by love, and nothing is more precious than love.

At this time, I naturally thought of Yi Yanduan.He is my savior. If he hadn't recruited officers and soldiers, maybe I wouldn't be able to stand here.Because of saving me, he was treated unfairly and left his hometown to work in a coal mine in a remote mountainous area in Guizhou.For this reason, my heart cannot be at peace.My injury was not completely healed, so I went to Guizhou to see him.In a small guest house in Jinsha County, I met Yi Yanduan.The first time I saw him, my eyes were warm. We shook hands and smiled at each other. I couldn't say anything, but he said, "I'm relieved to see that you are recovering well." His face was a little darker, and he looked vicissitudes, and his generous expression made my heart ache.He left his hometown to save me, how can I not feel heartbroken!We drank a lot that night and talked a lot.They drank shochu and spoke plain, homely words, as if nothing had happened, just an ordinary gathering of comrades-in-arms.It was a rainy day when I left him.He was going back to the coal mine, I watched Yi Yanduan's back disappear into the rain, my heart was sour, but my tears couldn't flow down.I hope he gets better soon.Hope all brothers and sisters in the world live well.After hearing about his affairs, many media reporters wanted to interview him and complain about him, but he declined.He said that his heart was already at peace, and he would not say anything wrong to anyone. After being able to survive such a big disaster, what else could not be forgiven?I understand him, and in the process of understanding him, I have a little more tolerance for the world.His heart is gold, warm gold.

Disasters tell me that all sorrows and pains must be saved with love.Love is not a powerless and empty word at such a moment, it is so real and reliable.We should cherish every gathering and cherish even the slightest happiness in life.Cherish talking and spending time with your loved ones, cherish the reunion with your parents, cherish the friendship with your friends, and don't embarrass yourself or them.We have to speak our love in time.No need to hide, don't be afraid to be abrupt.Life is like a fleeting moment, and there may be disasters at any time. We must tell others about our inner feelings in time.We must be tolerant. Tolerance is the best memory, the best remembrance of the years of suffering and the people who died.

I wrote that experience into a book, this book is, and because of this book, I won the Chinese Literature Media Award.The process of writing this book was painful, like living through that disaster all over again.I truly recorded the bits and pieces and thoughts of being buried for more than 70 hours, just for commemoration, which is an unforgettable commemoration.Because of fear, when I was first rescued, I thought I would never have the courage to write again.The power of literature made me pick up the pen, and after finishing writing, I was saved again. While I was in awe of life and nature, I also regained my awe of literature.I am convinced that literature is resistant to fear and weakness, against darkness and nightmares, against hypocrisy and vulgarity.Authentic writing and sincere life are my beliefs.

After publication, many readers wrote to me.They were moved, gained strength from the book, and encouraged me to live a good life.The kind and sincere readers also warmed me up and helped me through the cold winter of my life.Like my relatives and friends, with tolerance and love, they let me regain the courage to live and write.In my reply to a reader, I said that even if there is only one reader left in the world, I will continue to write, and I will write more warm works, so that more people can see hope.My life was saved because of love. If I live a day, I must treat everything with love.
