Seeing this, Li Boyan gritted his teeth, threw the cigarette butt in his hand, and said, "Execution!" Liu Shaonan shouted "Long live the Communist Party!" and fell into a pool of blood. When the martyr died, he was only 25 years old.It was night, the rain was pouring, and the wind was strong. The common people said that the death of the martyr moved the sky and the earth.After Li Boyan killed Liu Shaonan, he divided his body into eight pieces and hung them on the three wooden bridges at both ends of the street. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, in the summer of 1951, Liu Shaonan was posthumously regarded as a martyr.On the eve of the National Day Ceremony in the same year, Chairman Mao Zedong issued an invitation to invite Liu Fuyuan, the posthumous son of the martyr, to Huairentang in Beijing as a guest.The following year, the party and the people's government changed the name of Daijiachang to Shaonan Township. In 1957, the heroic names of the martyrs were written into the Honghu Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial and engraved on the stele. In 1974, another 37-meter-high stele was erected in Daijiachang to commemorate it. When Liu Shaonan died, Li Zhaolong led the three brigades to encounter the enemy. Many members died. Li Zhaolong jumped out of the siege and went to Shashi to find the special committee in western Hubei. Betrayed by traitors, several responsible persons were arrested.
