"Thomas, I believe you." As he struggled to regain consciousness, he heard a woman speak to him.He didn't remember the voice, but it seemed gentle and authoritative.He continued to struggle, heard himself moaning, felt himself shifting on the bed. He finally opened his eyes, blinking to adjust to the light overhead, and noticed that the person who had woken him had closed the door, not knowing who it was.
