Xuanzang walked up to Venerable Master Jiexian, put his hands together and knelt down, choked up and said, "Teacher, you have treated me like a father and son in the past five years. Thank you for your selfless teaching. My disciple bids farewell to you again, and I hope that my mentor will take care of me." After saying that, he performed the highest Buddhist etiquette-worship to the sages. The reputation of Xuanzang, a Chinese Tang monk, spread to the ears of King Kumara of East India. He wanted to see Xuanzang very much, so he sent someone to invite Master Xuanzang. King Kumara is the king of the Kamaluva Kingdom in East India (now in the west of Assam, India).King Kumara, like King Jieri, is also a monarch who loves Buddhism very much and supports Buddhism.

In the afternoon of that day, Jiexian was reading the three thousand verses of "Hui Zong Lun" presented by Xuanzang in the abbot's room, and he would sigh in admiration from time to time. "Ah! So well written, so well done." Juexian came in and called out, "Uncle." Jiexian raised his head and said, "You came just in time. You can see how well Xuanzang's "Hui Zong Lun" is written. It seems that we should have no problem in defeating the challenge of Hinayana Buddhism in Udha Kingdom." Juexian nodded and said: "Uncle is right, but it's a pity that he is leaving. King Kumara sent someone to urge him again, and threatened that Master Xuanzang would not be sent again, and that he would destroy the Nalanda Temple. The messenger I've arrived at the door, and I'm here to report to you."

"Ah! King Kumara came to invite Xuanzang again. I didn't dare to tell him last time. It seems that this time I have to let him go. Of course this is a very honorable thing, but we really don't want him to go. I think Xian, please go and invite the envoys to come in, and ask someone to invite Xuanzang too." "OK." The envoys were welcomed into the hall, and Xuanzang also came. After saluting each other, the guests of honor took their seats. The envoy stood up and bowed to the precept sage: "The Dharma is above, and my humble minister is entrusted by my lord. I am here to implore the Chinese eminent monk, Master Xuanzang, to come to our country to teach the Dharma. I implore the Dharma and Master Xuanzang not to refuse."

Jiexian asked Xuanzang: "What do you mean? Of course we don't want you to go." Xuanzang got up and said: "Thank you, master, for staying. It's just that King Kumara came to invite me, and I dare not disobey it. Besides, I have been in India for more than ten years, and I am planning to return home by this route." After hearing this, Jiexian said sadly: "There is no place in life. I was going to leave. It was the Bodhisattva who left me and asked me to teach you the Dharma. Now that you have completed your studies, you should leave me, and I should also be reborn in Nirvana."

Xuanzang choked up and bowed to Jie Xian: "Master, why did you say that? This disciple also wants to return to China as soon as possible, so that he can spread the scriptures that Master has faxed in the East, where there are thousands of disciples waiting to hear Master explain the scriptures and teach the truth." Jiexian said: "Okay, you don't have to be polite anymore, you should hurry up and pack your bags, and chat with the minister for a while." "Yes, Master." When it came time for Xuanzang to depart, Jiexian and all the monks of Nalanda Monastery sent them out of the temple gate. Xuanzang walked up to Jiexian and knelt down with his palms folded...

"Master...you have treated me like a father and son for the past five years. Thank you for your selfless teaching. My disciple bids farewell to you again, and I hope my mentor will take care of you." After saying this, he performed the highest Buddhist etiquette for Jiexian—worshiping. The surrounding monks sighed when they saw it, and some even covered their faces and wept. Xuanzang took Juexian's hand again and wept like rain: "Senior brother, you have taken care of me in many ways over the past five years, so that the disciple can complete his studies. The disciple will never forget the kindness and virtue of the elder brother."

Juexian also held his hand tightly and wept: "Although you and I are not from the same country, we are as close as brothers. This time, we will see each other again..." After speaking, tears streamed down my face. Xuanzang put his hands together and said to all the sentient beings: "Masters and brothers, Xuanzang bid farewell to everyone. I came to India from China. I thank you for your help in the past five years. Buddhism knows no borders. Welcome everyone to China to promote Buddhism." After speaking, he bowed his hands and said goodbye to everyone . All monks and laymen gave Xuanzang warm applause, and some reluctantly came over to hold his hand.

The envoys of the Kamaluva Kingdom standing by the side, looking at these monks who transcended life and death, all of them were moved at this moment, which shows the depth of their emotional fate, and they became sad, and their eyes were wet... … When Jiexian saw this, he choked up and said: "Sentient beings, don't be sad anymore. Today, Master Xuanzang, the Tang monk in China, has completed his studies and left. He should be happy. He is a great monk in our Buddhism. Our Nalanda Temple We are honored by his presence. Our Buddhists are also proud of having such an eminent monk. In the future, although we are each in the Eastern and Western Regions, we will arouse the mind of Bodhi Buddha and save all sentient beings. The purpose is the same. It is getting late. Let the mage go!"

So Xuanzang folded his hands, bid farewell to the passers-by again, and got on his horse. Jiexian Zhengfazang and Nalanda Temple presented him with many scriptures and Buddha statues. More than ten people, they set out for the country of Kamalupa from dawn to dusk. exactly:
