Chapter 1 preface young love

Breadtree is gone 张小娴 1041Words 2018-03-13
It is a novel I wrote in 1994, and it is also my first novel. It has been six years, and the days of six years have been swept away.I have been thinking, what will happen to the protagonist in the book? The novel has been written, but the characters in the book have grown up in my heart and have their own lives. Will Cheng Yun still love Lin Fangwen obsessively? Is Lin Fangwen still the same?Their growth is also my own growth. For many years, readers have been asking me, will Cheng Yun and Lin Fangwen live happily ever after?I never had optimistic thoughts about this problem. They are too young, and the love that started at such a young age always has to face many trials and setbacks. They are still too far away from staying together forever.

Readers who have read it, especially girls, have always loved Lin Fangwen.I often think, what is so cute about Lin Fangwen? Is it his talent, his straightforwardness, or his betrayal? When we were young, like Cheng Yun, we would choose Lin Fangwen without regret. However, when we grow up, we may not fall in love with a man like Lin Fangwen.Lin Fangwen is the man in his dreams. In real life, he is too unreliable.Girls love Lin Fangwen, maybe we know too well that he will not be the choice in real life.Only in novels can we obsessively love such a man. When I write, everything is still very jerky. The plots and characters in the book are indeed my middle school life and my classmates. It was a bit embarrassing to see them again later. This novel was published successively in Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. It was translated into Korean in 1998, and it will also be published in mainland China within this year. When I arrived in Beijing at the beginning of the year, many readers had already read this novel from other channels and asked many questions. It's funny how they ask me, "Are you the one who wrote it?" It seems like I've already equated it.Perhaps, it's not because I write particularly well, but because each of us also misses the years of growing up.Although those days are far away and never come back, it is a long memory in my life.

I will write it six years later, and it will also be about my own growth and transformation. What will become of Cheng Yun and Lin Fangwen?I am curious myself. The love I believe in has changed a bit in six years, and so have they? What kind of love are we looking for?Is it self-fulfillment or staying together? In the novel, the lyrics written by Lin Fangwen are poems written by my good friend Zhong Weimin between 1980 and 1990, which are excerpted from his collection of poems "Memories".I want to thank him for generously lending me such a beautiful poem.He also told me: "If it doesn't work, I'll write a few more for you." I was really touched. When writing, he also turned his poems into lyrics. One day, his old lover read my book and asked him, "Why did your poem appear in her book?" He had to explain it a lot.I envy him that he has an old lover who still cares so much about him.The love when you are young will always be recollected and missed for a lifetime. One day, when we are old, we will never forget that we once loved someone so sincerely.

Is love devouring or regurgitating?Sometimes, I want to swallow you and never separate.Sometimes, I want to spit you out, give you back your freedom, and give me back my freedom.
