Chapter 10 postscript

This story was first published in 1956.As some readers may know, the events that followed were too developed for their content. In 1965, astronomers discovered that Mercury does not always have one side always facing the sun, but has a rotation period of about 54 days.All parts of it are therefore exposed to the sun in turn. Yeah, what can I do but wish the astronomers the best of luck? But I categorically refuse to modify this story to suit their whims.
