Although the translation in 1998 was well received at the time, it still looks rough and flawed now, because the difficulty in translating contemporary literature is not entirely in language and writing, but in the author’s living environment and era. , expressions, and literary pursuits are sometimes more important than the text itself. Many old translators lament that they cannot translate contemporary works, because this era is changing too fast and there are too many new things. These are not just about knowing the language. Fortunately, the translation of this book has always been backed by the author. This time when she came to China, the translator carefully made all the old translations.
