Type 1 women are born with the possibility (sometimes, sometimes not) of orgasm in all its forms (masturbation, dream, foreplay, coital orgasm, postcoital orgasm, and sometimes multiple simultaneous orgasms) .Only 5% of all women can fully achieve the above-mentioned forms of orgasm.Another 25% of women can achieve the above-mentioned orgasms separately, but they cannot achieve multiple orgasms at the same time; and another 40% of women can achieve all orgasms except the orgasm in their dreams, but they cannot achieve multiple orgasms at the same time.这种类型的女性能够以我们在前面说明过的各种方式来调节体内的精子储存量。她们特别善于变换各种形态高潮的出现频率，以便使她所拥有的男性与性交机会发挥最高效用。因此，在精子战争能带来繁衍利益的状况下，这种类型的女性可以算是最善于利用精子战争的女性。 从全体来看，属于第一种类型的女性人数可能最多（约占75%），但即使是属于同一种类型，其中仍有相当惊人的差距。例如说，这种类型当中约有30%的女性能够同时感受自慰高潮和梦中高潮，而另一方面，其中约有50%的女性只能获得自慰高潮；10%的女性只能获得梦中高潮。这种差异可能就像我们在前面提到的，正好反映出女性高潮的类型，其实是为了表现其多样性才会出现这么多的变化。而事实上，自慰高潮与梦中高潮引致的结果是完全一样的。至于女性究竟决定把重点放在哪种形态的高潮，这种多样性则随女性的个别差异而决定。而高潮形态的变化也可能在女性暗中准备进行外遇时发挥相当的影响力。但从调节体内精子储存量方面来看，变化高潮类型并不能起到什么作用。而且，由于同一种类型的女性之间仍然具备个别差异，每名女性所表现的行为（随情况与男性而改变）也会有许多不同之处。总之，女性性特征的多样性是我们永远都无法事先预测的。 第二种类型的女性则是天生采取回避策略。虽然某些女性以性高潮来调节体内精子储存量或引发精子战争，但这种类型的女性却完全避免采用这种方式。她们不仅从未有过单独获得高潮的经验（自慰高潮或梦中高潮），也从来不在男性面前到达高潮。但在大部分情况下，这种类型的女性调节精子储藏量的能力所受到性高潮的影响反而很小。而且相对的，因为她们算是女性中的少数，反而因此获利。在全体女性当中，约有10%的女性天生无法获得自慰高潮或梦中高潮，对这些女性来说，调节精子储存量的任务就只好交给有男性一起参与的高潮（指性交高潮等）来负责。她们仍然能够掌握调节精子储存量的各种方法，但对这些女性来说，她们还有一项比调节精子储存量更重要的任务，那就是必须选择一名具备性竞争力的男性作为配偶。另外还有一些女性（同样也占10%）虽然天生无法在男性面前到达高潮，但她们却能够获得自慰高潮或梦中高潮。这类女性也有办法调节体内精子储存量。因为她们可在暗中将子宫颈粘液过滤功能调节得较强或较弱。但这种方式的惟一缺点是无法在最后一刻改变主意，也无法在过滤功能太强的粘液当中立即打开通道。 第三种类型的女性几乎在每次性交当中都能到达高潮。这种类型的女性约占10%。只要这类女性能配合男性射精的时机以调整自己到达高潮的时刻，她们就能以此掌控体内的精子储存量，同时也能在精子战争当中扮演积极的角色。如果女性在男性射精前一两分钟到达高潮，这种高潮能使她体内的精子储存量变低，而在高潮过后，精子储存量则能重新提高。 最后一种类型的女性从来不曾有过任何高潮的经验。这类女性约占2%到4%，不论是性交高潮，或是自慰高潮与梦中高潮，她们全都从未经历过。但相对的，我们在前面已经说明过，这种类型的女性虽然不知高潮为何物，但她们仍然能够因此获利。因为这些女性不会教导配偶做爱技巧，所以她们的配偶也就无从学会追求外遇的技术。但和前三种类型的女性比起来，这种类型的女性对精子战争的结果所拥有的影响力最小。而且她们非常适合通过比较安全的手段来选择配偶，同时也能善用这种配偶关系。通常，在前次性交之后，女性的子宫颈粘液功能会逐渐变弱。而这种类型的女性主要就是以静待子宫颈粘液功能逐渐变弱来调节体内的精子储存量。不过，由于精子的数量对受精的重要性远不如对精子战争来得重要（即使射出少数精子亦可使卵子受精，却需要大量的精子去和他人的精子斗争），既然这些女性的体内不可能发生精子战争，那么，每次性交究竟能留下多少精子在她体内，也就无关紧要了。 对女性来说，健康男性在其体内射精之后，她能够将超过受精需要的精子量保存在其体内，但如果要求女性在其体内只能保存少于受精需要的精子量，这将是一件非常困难的事情。当然，如果精液当中完全不含精子，那么就算是女性将精液全部保存在其体内，她仍然不易受孕。但通常这种情况并非由于男性的精液里面毫无精子。因为就算是接受过结扎手术的男性，他偶尔还是能将少量精子（可能数目少于一百）射进女性体内而生下子女。精液中只含少量精子的原因，比较可能是因为男性的健康状况或体质因素使其无法制造精子（也许是无法制造几亿个精子，但能制造几千万个精子），并因而使其精液无法使女性受精。 无可否认，第四种类型的女性虽然能够避免受到传染病的侵害，但她们同时也牺牲了享有高潮的利益。在所有类型当中，这种类型的女性染患性病的可能性最小。但也有个例显示，有些女性虽然天生不以高潮作为调节精子数量的手段，但这些女性一旦染上性病之后，她们很有可能会因此开始能够获得高潮。至于这些女性如何感受高潮，则视女性个别生理构造而定。假如这些女性的阴蒂很敏感，她们可能会突然感到自慰的冲动。不过，通常这些女性的阴蒂生来就对刺激不太敏感。所以，她们可能很难通过自慰获得高潮。但是，当然啦，这并不表示她们无法通过做春梦得到高潮。即使是接受过阴蒂切除手术的女性，也仍然可能获得梦中高潮。 女性按照其个人差异而采取不同的性策略，这种性策略也是对女性选择配偶可能发生微妙影响的最后一项变量，也是我们列举过的各项因素之外的另一项要素。换句话说，女性应该按照自己对应精子战争的方式，选择能够配合自己性策略的配偶。例如在场景35里那名拥有小型睾丸的男性，他非常善于看守自己的配偶，因此对那名从未到达过高潮的女性来说，选择这名男性作为配偶就很理想。同样的，对这个场景里的另一名女性来说，由于她能获得各种形态的性高潮，也能从外遇行为及精子战争当中获得繁衍利益，所以她选择拥有大型睾丸的男性作为配偶就很合适。这名女性并能因此从两方面获得繁衍利益：一方面由于她的配偶是善打精子战争的常胜军，他制造的大量精子能把女性的情人的精子军队击溃；另一方面由于她的配偶也会进行外遇，因此这名女性也能经常获得进行外遇的自由，以便由此追求她的繁衍成果。 最后，我们要强调的一点也是我们在这一章的其他场景里曾经强调过的：一般来说，所有女性虽然分别属于不同类型，但她们却应该拥有平等的繁衍成果。只要群体能维持适当的平等条件，群体中各类型的女性人数比例就能保持稳定。从结果来看，只要女性选择的配偶与其性特征两相配合，她应该就能利用与生俱来的各种形态的高潮去追求繁衍成果。
