Chapter 104 Zhu Gong Diao

Zhugongdiao is a large-scale rap music in the Song and Jin Dynasties. It is composed of many tunes of different palace tunes and can be used to talk and sing large-scale stories.It is said that its creator is Kong Sanchuan, a Bianliang Goulan artist in the Northern Song Dynasty. In the rap art of the Song Dynasty, Zhugong tune is the one with the largest system and the highest artistry.Its main features are, first, its large length, which can be sung continuously with one or two hundred pieces of music, and sometimes it may take several days or even longer to sing a story. Therefore, its range of themes has been greatly expanded, no matter where It can handle more than one kind of subject matter.The second is that it adopts different palace tunes, including various tunes of different heights and different modes, which breaks the limitation of other rap arts such as Guzici and Changzhuan, which only use one palace tune, and the color changes are extremely rich.For example, the famous "Zhu Gong Diao of Dong Jieyuan Xixiang Ji" used Zhenggong (Zhenggong Diao), Daogong, Nanlu Gong, Huangzhonggong, Xianlu Diao, Banshe Diao, Gaoping Diao (Nanlu Diao), Shang Diao, Shuang Diao, and Zhonggong Diao. There are fourteen palace tunes, including Lu tune, Dashi tune, Xiaoshi tune, Yue tune, and Yu tune (Huang Zhong tune).
