Chapter 72 Yuefu

The Yuefu institution still existed in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Sui Dynasty, but its scale and achievements were far inferior to the Han Yuefu. Another meaning of Yuefu is the poems collected by Yuefu that can be sung together.Later, the imitation of literati learning from Yuefu was also called "Yuefu", such as Bai Juyi's "New Yuefu" and Pi Rixiu's "Zhengyuefu".
