Chapter 29 poisonous tree

i'm angry at my friends I express my anger and the anger is gone i am angry at the enemy I won't show this anger grows I water it with trepidation day and night watering tears I shine it with a smile with soft cunning tricks it grows day and night At last bright apples my enemies see it flash He knows that apple belongs to me When the night will cover everyone He sneaked into the garden to steal food I am glad to see in the morning My enemy is laying dead under the tree I was angry with my friend I told my wrath, my wrath did end I was angry with my foe I told not, my wrath did grow

And I waterd it in fears Night & morning with my tears And I sunned it with smiles And with soft deceitful wiles And it grew both day and night Till it bore an apple bright And my foe beheld it shine And he knew that it was mine And into my garden stole When the night had veiled the pole In the morning glad I see My foe outstretchd beneath the tree
