Chapter 49 music
music
1
My heart longs for holy music
It is thirsty like a withered flower;
Let the melody pour like wine,
Let the silver-toned rain fall;
Like a wilderness where there is no nectar and no grass grows,
Oh, I gasped for the music to wake;
2
I will drink the spirit of peace,
Drink, drink, - I am greedy;
A snake is bound in my heart,
Let the music loose the chains of trouble;
This melting tune from every nerve
Flowed into my head and heart.
3
Like a blooming violet.
Fragrances flow by the silver lake,
Drunk its dew-cup at noon,
And no mist can quench its thirst,
And the flowers died; oh, but there was fragrance
Floating on the blue waves on the wings of the wind,—
4
as one sips from a golden cup
sparkling, frothy murmuring wine
For the witch has given the holy kiss
Send it to the edge of the cup, wait for him to enjoy the love...
