Chapter 30 Song Taizu - Zhao Kuangyin

Zhao Kuangyin (927-976), born in Zhuozhou (now Zhuo County, Hebei), was born in Jiamaying, Luoyang. In the later Zhou Dynasty, he was inspected in front of the palace, and he was in charge of the forbidden army.In the "Chenqiao Mutiny", he was proclaimed emperor and the country was named Song.Historical records: Zhao Kuangyin has a majestic appearance, a filial piety, a thrifty friend, an open manner, a natural nature, and no pretense.Good at riding and shooting. After the founding of the country, he adopted the unified strategy of "first south and then north", and lifted the military power of senior generals, basically ending the situation of local separatism. He attached great importance to agricultural production, paid attention to the construction of water conservancy, and reduced corvees, which promoted the social and economic development of the early Song Dynasty. After his death, he was buried in Yongchang Mausoleum (now southwest of Gongxian County, Henan Province), and the temple name was Taizu.Although Zhao Kuangyin is a military general, he loves to read and often does not put down the book. After proclaiming himself emperor, he respected and reused scholars more.

The sun is shining brightly at the beginning, and thousands of mountains are like fire.
①Hehe: The middle finger in the poem is extremely hot. "Poetry · Daya · Yun Han": "It's so hot, I have nothing to say." "Zhuangzi·Tian Zifang": "To the yin and somber, to the yang to be magnificent." ② Tianqu (qu): Tianlu, the poem refers to the vast and boundless sky.Qu, a road extending in all directions. I remember that in Mao Zedong's poem "Qinyuanchun·Snow", it was mentioned: "I cherish the Qin Emperor and Hanwu, a little less literary talent; Tang Zong Songzu, a little less coquettish." Of course, this is in terms of the entire Wenzhiwugong. But when it comes to the little poem "Ode to the First Day", "Song Zu" also seems so clumsy and uneducated, with neither the charm of "wind" nor the splendor of "sao". Broad minded and bold nature.

He sang of the rising sun.As soon as I opened the words "the sun first rises", the meaning of the question was completely broken. Then the three characters "brightness" immediately expressed the strong feeling of the light and heat of this round of red sun.The whole sentence seems to be chanted without tempering or embellishment, but it is heroic and aggressive; it does have the saying in "Water Margin" that "heroes are brave, wise and generous, and emperors have never been as good as this emperor since ancient times." The stick is equal to the body, and the four hundred military states are all surnamed Zhao" that kind of heroic spirit.

If the first sentence focuses on expressing the first day from the perspective of the subject, then the second sentence reflects it from the object. "Thousands of mountains and mountains are like fire", which seems plain and simple, but we can see the insight of this military hero: the mountains and peaks pointing directly at the heights are like the flames of the fire, like the red flames flying into the sky when the sun shines on them. , the metaphor is appropriate and the image is vivid, fully expressing the majesty of the first day, and writing the magnificent scenery when the first day shines on the peaks.

The second half of the poem further writes about the first day from the momentum, and uses the rising of the first day to express pride and ambition. The rising sun disc jumped into the sky in an instant, and the stars and waning moon left in the sky before dawn were immediately submerged in its vast flame. The so-called "retreat" implies a struggle, but it is only a short process, because the sun's radiance and heat are invincible, and Xingyue Yunni is irresistible. This movement is written with majestic momentum, showing the poet Hanhong's chest and courage.According to "Gengxi Poetry Talk": This poem was recited by Zhao Kuangyin in his "Weishi" (when he was not famous). There are only four names, which can quite show the ambition of the future emperor. As predicted in this poem, once Zhao Kuangyin puts on the yellow robe and establishes the foundation and decides the tripod, he immediately begins to withdraw his military power. The turmoil in the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties established and maintained relatively long-term stability and unity, making the economy and culture of the Song and Song Dynasties reach the most advanced level of human beings at that time. This realm is by no means attainable by chance. Although the poem "Ode to the First Day" has no rhetoric and little literary talent, it is full of heroic style and spirit, and it can be regarded as Song Taizu's declaration of "governing the country and the world" in the future. If you believe the ancient saying of "poetry divination", people can predict that he will be the prime minister based on Wang Zeng (a famous official in the Northern Song Dynasty) who chanted the poem "Now I haven't asked about peace and soup, but open it to the heads of hundreds of flowers first", then, from Zhao Kuangyin The poem "Ode to the First Day" can indeed appreciate the extraordinary bearing of him as the founding emperor.

There is no need to polish this poem, it is just like a slogan chanted on horseback.Only the third sentence of the whole poem, "Going to the sky in an instant", is in harmony with the law, and the other three sentences are not sticky to each other. The rhyme of the poem is "He", "Fa" and "Moon", all of which are short in-sound characters, cut off, not sloppy, and purely martial arts. This poem does not use techniques, but the state is self-evident. Although the language is not crafty, the meaning is not shallow. It can be regarded as the origin of Song's bold and unconstrained poems.
