In other words, the profound teachings are difficult to understand and difficult to implement, and they cannot be tolerated by the superior wisdom of the root.If ordinary people in my generation want to learn the Buddhadharma, I don’t know what method can make it easy for everyone to understand, easy for everyone to practice, without difficulty, and quickly gain real benefits? The Dharma of the case is broad, shallow and deep.Therefore, all the teachers in ancient times judged "religion phase" to distinguish them.According to the Huayan original human theory written by Zen master Tang Guifeng, five religions were established:

1. Anthropology 2. Hinayana teaching 3. Teaching each other in Mahayana 4. Mahayana broken phase teaching 5. One vehicle explicit teaching Based on these five teachings, they are divided into shallow and deep.If it is easy for ordinary people in my generation to understand and practice, there is only "human and heavenly teaching".The other four teachings have profound meanings and are difficult to understand.It can be understood, but it is also difficult to implement.Therefore, if you want to popularize the society, but also subsidize the world's law, so as to save the morals of the world and people's hearts, it is most appropriate to use the "Teaching of Humanity and Heaven".

Where did the religion of Man and Heaven come from? Ordinary people are drunk, dreaming and dying, saying that the rich, the poor, and the poor are all determined by fate, and they don't understand karma.Or those who understand karma, only know the present retribution in this life.If this is the case, now in life there are wicked people who are rich and good people are poor, evil people live long and good people die, wicked people have many descendants and good people have no heirs, why?Because the Buddha is this generation of people, he said that the karma of the three generations, the cause and effect of good and evil, is the teaching of humans and heaven.Now it is divided into two chapters to elaborate on the karma of the three generations and the cause and effect of good and evil.

1. The karma of the third generation Those who repay the karma of the three generations, present retribution, birth retribution, and future retribution. 1. Present retribution: If you do good and evil in this life, you will receive retribution in this life. 2. Retribution: If you do good and evil in this life, you will receive retribution in the next life. 3. Later retribution: If you do good and evil in this life, you will receive retribution in your second, third, and future lives. From this point of view, it is not surprising that the wicked are rich and the good are poor.We should only do good deeds, even if we do not get good results in this life, we will surely get them in the next life and so on.Do not encounter adversity because of doing good deeds, and falsely say that doing good deeds has no fruit.

2. Cause and effect of good and evil The cause and effect of good and evil, evil karma, good karma, and immovable karma are the causes, and there are six results, that is, the six realms. There are many bad karma and good karma, roughly speaking, there are ten kinds of each, as described below.Those who do not practice karma, that is, practice the top-grade ten virtues, and then be able to practice meditation in depth. Now, the bad karma and the good karma are described as follows: There are ten kinds of bad karma. 1. Killing Two, theft Three, adultery 4. Lying Five, two tongues 6. Bad mouth

Seven, sweet words 8. Saving and Greed 9. Anger 10. Wrong views Those who create evil karma will fall into hell, animals, and ghosts because of the severity of their karma.After the retribution is exhausted, if you are lucky to be born among the people, there is still more retribution.Today, according to the Huayan Sutra, it is recorded as follows.If in all the "theories" there are still many kinds of foreign places, they will not be recorded here. 1. Killing...short-lived and sickly 2. Stealing... Poverty, and its wealth is not at ease 3. Fornication...the wife is not chaste and good, and she is not allowed to have any dependents

4. Lying...often being slandered and deceived by others 5. Two tongues... family members are deviant, relatives are evil Sixth, harsh words... often hear bad voices, talk a lot of lawsuits 7. Elegant words... no one accepts the words, and the words are unclear 8. Be stingy and greedy...the heart is not satisfied, the desire is endless 9. Anger...often being judged by others, always being annoyed by others 10. Evil views...the home of evil views is born, and its heart is flattering There are ten kinds of good karma.The following abstaining from killing, etc., stopping evil is called goodness.Based on this, there are ten kinds of good deeds, that is, saving lives and so on.

1. Don’t Kill: Saving Lives 2. Don’t Steal: Giving Resources 3. Not committing sexual misconduct: follow the holy life 4. Don't lie: tell the truth 5. Do not double tongue: Harmony with each other 6. Not to speak harshly: kind words to comfort 7. Don’t speak frivolously: as a language of interest 8. Don't be greedy: always have a heart of giving Nine, no anger: Hang Seng Compassion 10. Not wrong views: Righteous belief in cause and effect Those who make good karma are born in the heaven of Asura's human realm of desire because of the severity of their karma.The retribution of feeling is the opposite of the retribution of evil karma listed above.If you don't kill animals, you can live a long life without disease, etc. It can be known by analogy.

From this point of view, if we want to get the rewards of smooth things and physical and mental well-being, we should first strive to cultivate good karma so as to plant good causes.It is a big mistake to only seek good retribution with one heart and never plant a few good causes.For example, if a farmer wants to obtain rice grains but does not cultivate the fields, everyone will know that he is foolish. Therefore, if we want everything to go smoothly and be happy in body and mind, we must work hard to cultivate good causes.Sooner or later in the future, good results will be obtained.The ancients said: "There is no misfortune or good fortune that one seeks on one's own." This is exactly what it means.

What has been said above is the righteousness of the religion of man and heaven. However, although it is easier for those who practice the teachings of the human and the heavenly, the retribution is limited to the human and the heavenly, and it is not a birth.Therefore, all the good teachers in ancient and modern times have tried their best to promote the "Pure Land Method", which is the "Pure Land School" in the general Buddhist sect mentioned above.So that no matter what kind of teaching you study, you can also learn this "Pure Land Method", that is, you can get the greatest benefit. Although the "Pure Land Method" should be judged as "One Vehicle Perfect Teaching", but those who are deep see the deep, and those who are shallow see the shallow. That is to say, those who only practice the teachings of human beings and heaven can also learn it at the same time. The so-called "three roots are universal".

Let me talk about the end of three days.With this merit, I hope that the world will be peaceful, all living beings will be happy, the Buddha will grow brighter day by day, and the wheel of Dharma will always turn.
