※※※ Thought is a substitute for awareness. ※※※ One thing has to be remembered, whenever you experience something that has no counterpart, you have come home. When there is the opposite, you are always torn apart. In both experiences you will be a football -- sometimes happy, sometimes miserable, but never knowing that there is something beyond both beauty and depression. That's why it cannot be expressed in words, because all words are dual, otherwise they would not have any meaning. ※※※ The nature of language is this: you cannot create a word without having its counterpart. If there is no corresponding word, then that word has no meaning.

Two people who are thinking are two; two people who are not thinking are one, because there is no distinction, no boundary between them -- both are one and the same. Thoughts will be different, thoughts will draw a line of separation, but "no thought" has no line, no distinction, no difference. Two innocent people are one. ※※※ The nameless phenomenon of complete trust is not a relationship, it is the one, the two disappears...it becomes a circle, it becomes a pole, its coming has never been announced, just Very suddenly, like a breeze. Once you get a taste of it - love and trust seem impoverished - you know what abundance is.It may only be for a few seconds, but that's okay.

Love is not very reliable, but it is useful. Use it, then go into trust. But trust is not 100%. To go beyond. Then it is impossible for you to fall down, then it is impossible to fall back, then it is something that goes into eternity. ※※※ The space beyond love and trust is a space that is neither objective nor subjective, it just exists. There are many things in existence that cannot be named, but those are real things, and those things that can be named belong to a lower quality and a lower level. That indescribable, peaceful space...it contains love, it contains trust, and more. That "other there" part is so vast that it can only come, you cannot pull it.

※※※ To experience this moment is to experience all that has been and all that will be at the same time, because this moment contains both. It contains the whole past, because where is the past?It goes on and on into the present moment. It also contains the whole future, because where is the future going to come from? The next moment and the next moment, and the whole eternity will be born of this moment. The present moment is a seed that has all the trees of the past, it has the trees of countless generations. This seed did not come from nowhere, it came from a tree, and that tree came from another seed, and that seed came from another tree.If you push further, that seed will lead you to the very beginning -- if there is any beginning. That very beginning has always been the Eternal Here.

This seed also contains the future tree, and from this seed will grow a new tree, and from that tree will grow thousands and thousands of seeds, and thousands and thousands of trees.Just one seed can turn the whole earth green. We can even say that it is capable of making the whole universe green, that there are many things contained in one small seed. ※※※ The moment "now" is a seed of time, it is invisible, so we do not know what it contains, it contains the whole past, it also contains the whole future. That's why I insist: don't think about the past, don't think about the future, just stay in this moment of "now" and then the whole past is yours and the whole future is yours.

※※※ The unknown has always come into your known world to disturb it, but it only disturbs it because you did not welcome it.If you can welcome the unknown and leave the known... Always the known, not the unknown, is disturbed by time, and the unknown is not disturbed by time or anything else. If you are ready to welcome the unknown, then you already know the secret to staying victorious through all setbacks and failures. Darkness has a stillness, darkness has a depth. There is peace in darkness, darkness takes all your knowledge, takes everything that you think is yours, it leads you totally into the unknown, into the mysterious.

For me, darkness is one of the greatest mysteries of existence, far more mysterious than light. Those who are afraid of the dark will not be able to enter into their own nature. They will go around in circles all the time, never reaching themselves. It has to be darkness, not light, because light comes and goes; once you have discovered the dark spot in you, you have discovered something eternal, something that cannot be destroyed, something bigger than you. Know more things about life. Existence is made of this basic thing. ※※※ The Zen koan is an unsolvable riddle, there is no way to solve it, it is a tactic used to tire your mind. The method is very strong, so through that weariness the mind will collapse, it will admit its failure.

In those moments when the mind admits defeat, the focus of the mind can be easily shifted, and then you can move to "no mind". ※※※ There is a reason why the mystics call meditation "mindless," because if you call it meditation then the mind makes another object out of it. Then you have to achieve meditation. It makes no difference whether the goal is enlightenment or meditation, the goal is still there, the future is still there, it goes on destroying the present. The first mystic to change "meditation" to "no mind" has a very good insight. In this way, "no mind" cannot become a goal.

The mind cannot make it a goal. It will appear very absurd -- how can the mind make "no mind" a goal? It must say that is impossible, that the mind is all, there is no "no mind". That's one strategy that doesn't let you make it a target.Very few people understand that strategy, that's why they call it "mindless", to avoid the mind making it a goal. So you have to be more and more in a state of "no mind". Just continue to remove memory and imagination, and make the moment "now" clean. As it deepens, as you become more and more able to be mindless, enlightenment happens by itself.

※※※ Just as love can be a vehicle for trust, so trust can be a vehicle for reaching something beyond for which there are no words. It is an experience, it is not a matter of love, it is not a matter of trust, it is something that the mind does not know at all. Love and trust can help you achieve it. So you have to remember that they are just means to an end, and that end cannot be described in words. But all of a sudden, when that trust is complete, you may be able to glimpse it, it is overwhelming, and you disappear. ※※※ The truth cannot be told, so anything that can be told is a beautiful lie, and I say it is beautiful because it leads you towards the truth.

So I draw a line between lies: pretty lies and ugly lies -- ugly lies lead you away from the truth, beautiful lies lead you closer to the truth, but in terms of their quality, they Both are lies. But those pretty lies work, so in a way, they also taste like sharing the truth. ※※※ The true juice of life is within you. Just for a moment, you can turn into yourself, look into yourself, without external worship, without external prayer, all that is required is a peaceful journey towards your own true being. I call it a meditation to your own being, I call it a peaceful pilgrimage to your own being. The moment you find the center of yourself, you have found the center of your whole being. ※※※ An extremist has always been an egoist. ※※※ Some moments you are more aware and some moments you are less aware, so it is possible to create situations that make you more aware. That's why awareness becomes the basis of meditation. As awareness arises, you will be amazed to find that when you become aware, thoughts disappear. When you are fully aware without thought, suddenly time disappears. ※※※ How can you achieve a natural death if you are still living an unnatural life? ※※※ Death is what other people think of you. ※※※ Only an enlightened man can die naturally, and besides that all death is unnatural, because all life is unnatural. ※※※ Death is only a climax, the highest peak of your life, it is not against life, it does not destroy life. To die beautifully, one must live beautifully. To die ecstasy, excitement, bliss, one has to prepare for that ecstasy, excitement, bliss all his life. ※※※ When you say: in order to reach the ultimate you have to disappear, you don't mean who you really are, but what you are not who you are, means what you think you are. When you become one with existence, the you you know is not the old you, the old you is your personality, and the you I am talking about is your individuality.Your personality is given by society, whereas what I call you is nature, a real being, a gift of being. ※※※ Truth is not an object you can find somewhere when you are silent, truth is your subjectivity. Try to understand that where you are, the world is also there, whatever you see is the object, but the one who is looking is the subject. In silence all objects disappear and you have the whole infinity, just silence. It's full of consciousness, it's full of being, it's full of your being, but you won't find anything that could be called "truth" because if you could, it would be an object -- Truth is never an object. Truth is subjectivity. To discover your utterly infinite and eternal subjectivity, unhindered by anything and unobjectified by anything, is truth. ※※※ Witnessing is finding your inner mirror, and once you find it, miracles begin to happen. When you just watch your thoughts and the thoughts disappear, then suddenly there is such a silence that you have never known. As you watch your emotions—anger, sadness, and joy—they will suddenly disappear, and you can then experience greater stillness. When there is nothing to look at, then there is a revolution: the energy of the watching turns to itself, because nothing can stop it, because the object is gone. The word "object" is beautiful, it means that which stops you. When your witnessing has no object, it comes back to yourself, to the source, and this is the point where one becomes enlightened. ※※※ Enlightenment is simply recognition of your own nature, recognition of the eternity of your nature, recognition that there has never been death before and there will be no death; death is just a fiction. Seeing your being completely naked, very beautiful, very majestic, very peaceful, very blissful, very ecstatic - all of these are associated with the word "enlightenment". Once you experience that life sap, the mind loses its grip on you because you have found something of such a high quality, so satisfying, so satisfying that the mind feels its function It has ended. The mind looks ugly because it only gives you pain, trouble and anxiety. What else does it contribute to you?Its grip will loosen, it will begin to hide in the shadows, and fade away. You still go on living, but now your life is moment after moment, and the by-products you get in that little "mindless" gap will continue to grow, and that growth is endless. Enlightenment only begins and never ends. ※※※ I'm not trying to give you any ideals that you have to become this or that, I'm just trying to help you see that you are already what you need to be. Give up all longing, all desire, all ambition to be someone else so that you can be who you are. I don't want to distract you from your true being.I want you to come closer and closer to your true being so that in the end only you are left within yourself. ※※※ Desire must be non-spiritual, there cannot be any spiritual desire. ※※※ Man is the greatest experiment in existence. In this vast, infinite universe, there exists only this tiny earth capable of producing human beings, who have the potential to become fully conscious. Existence expects a lot from you.
