If you desire something worldly they call it desire; if you desire something of another world they call it by a different name. is absurd, desire is desire, it doesn't matter what the object of desire is, the object can be anything, it can be of this world, material, or it can be of another world, spiritual, but the desire remains the same .Every desire is a bondage, even if you desire God, that is a bondage, even if you desire liberation, that is a bondage, and unless this desire is completely removed, liberation cannot happen, so remember, you do not To be able to desire liberation, that is impossible, that is contradictory, you can become desireless and then liberation will happen, but that is not the result of your desire, on the contrary, it is the result of not desire.

So try to understand what desire is, desire means you are not good now, you are not at ease, in this very moment you are not at ease, there is something else in the future; if that is fulfilled, it Will bring that fulfillment is always in the future, it is never here and now. This tension of the mind about the future is desire. Desire means you are not in the present moment.And all that exists is this moment.You are somewhere in the future, and the future does not exist, it has never existed, it will never exist, all that exists is now, this moment. Anticipating some future fulfillment is desire. It doesn't matter what that future fulfillment is, it can be the kingdom of God, heaven, nirvana, or anything else, but if it is in the future, it is desire.If you live in the present you cannot desire, you cannot desire, remember that.Living in the present, you can only exist, you cannot desire, living in the present, how can you desire?

Desire will lead you into the future, it will lead you into fantasies and dreams, that's why Buddha insisted so much on "no desire", because only in absence of desire can you enter into real existence, with desire you are will enter the dream.The future is a dream, when you project into the future, you are bound to be frustrated, you destroy the present reality for the dream of the future, and this habit of the mind will follow you, it will be strengthened every day, so When your future comes, it will come in the present form, and your mind will go to some other future again, even if you can reach God, you will not be satisfied, with your present state of mind, it is impossible Yes, even if divinity manifests, you will walk away and run into the future.

Your mind is always going into the future, this mind going into the future works as desire, desire has nothing to do with any object, it doesn't matter whether you desire sex or desire meditation, the problem is the desire itself, the problem is you desire, it means you are not here , which means that you are not in the real moment, which is the only door into existence.Past and future are not doors, they are walls. So I cannot call any desire spiritual. Desire is worldly desire. Desire is the world. There is no so-called spiritual desire.You don't want to be out of desire, so you change your goals.First you desire wealth, prestige and power, now you say you don't want it, because these are worldly things, you condemn them, and those who desire them are condemned by you; now you desire God, desire the kingdom of God , Desiring Nirvana, Moksha (Freedom), Desiring The Eternal, Desiring Existence, Consciousness And Bliss, Desiring Brahmana, Now You Desire This And You Feel Good, You Think You Are Transformed But You Don’t Accomplish Anything , you still remain the same.

You are just playing tricks with yourself and then you are a mess because you think it is not desire and you remain the same.The mind remains the same, the functioning of the mind remains the same, you are still not here, the object of desire changes, but the pursuit, the dreaming remains, and the dreaming is the desire -- not the object. So try to understand me, I say that every desire is worldly, because desire is the world, so the problem is not to change, the problem is not to change the goal.That is a matter of mutation, that is a matter of revolution from desire to no desire.It is changing from desires to no desires, not from old desires to new desires, from worldly desires to otherworldly desires, from material desires to spiritual desires, no!Change from desire to no desire is revolution!

But how to move from desire to no desire?You need to have some desire to be able to act, and if you need to have some motive for profit, some greed, or some gain, before you can change from desire to no desire, then you have not changed at all.I am right when I say that if you can have no desire you can achieve eternal bliss.If there is no desire, eternal bliss will happen.But if I tell you that without desire you will have eternal bliss, then you will make it an object of desire, then you are completely missing the point. It is not an expected result, it is a natural result of deep understanding, so try to understand: where there is desire there is suffering, don't think you already know, you don't know, otherwise how can you get into desire?You are not yet aware that desire is pain, desire is hell.Be aware, when you desire something, be aware, follow the desire with full awareness, and then you will reach hell.

Every desire causes pain, whether it is fulfilled or not, if it is fulfilled it causes pain sooner, if it is not fulfilled then it takes time, but every desire causes pain, be aware of the whole process And go with it.Don't be in a hurry, because rushing doesn't get things done, in a hurry, spiritual growth is impossible, go slowly, patiently, watch each desire and then watch how each desire turns into the gates of hell .If you pay attention, sooner or later you will understand that desire is hell, and when that understanding happens there is no desire, and suddenly desire disappears and you are in a state of no desire.

You cannot practice it, remember that.Only desire can be practiced.How can you practice no desire?You cannot practice it, you can only practice desire, but if you are alert you will be aware that those desires cause pain, when every desire causes pain, when you experience this deeply, when it not only Mere opinion and knowledge, but an accomplished fact, then desire disappears, it becomes impossible.How can you possibly lead yourself into misery?You have been leading yourself to happiness, you think you are, yet you are always going to misery, this has been happening for many lifetimes, you always think this or that is the gate of heaven, and when You go in, you always understand that it is hell, there are no exceptions to this kind of thing, it has always been like this.

Go into every desire consciously, let every desire lead you to pain, and then, suddenly, one day, maturity will happen to you and you will understand that every desire is pain. Once you understand it, desire disappears. There is no need to do anything. Desire just disappears, withers, and you are in a state of no desire.In the absence of desire there is Nirvana, there is perfect and absolute bliss, you may call it God, or call it the Kingdom of God, or whatever you want to call it, but remember, It is not an expected result of your desire, it is a natural consequence of the absence of desire, and without desire one cannot practice.Those who are "practicing" without desire, they are deceiving themselves, there are many monks or disciples all over the world who are practicing without desire.You cannot practice without desire, negative things cannot be practiced.Behind the practice is the desire, they are longing for God, longing for inner peace to happen, longing for the joy that awaits them after death somewhere in the future, they are longing, and they call their desire "spiritual" desire".

You can easily deceive yourself, language is very deceiving, you can rationalize.You call poison "the food of the gods," and when you call it the food of the gods, it looks like the food of the gods.Words will hypnotize you, that is one of the functions of words, but this feeling, this understanding or experience that "desire is pain" has to be your own. Then we go on to ask: How did the Buddha achieve this?How did it happen?This "how" creates many problems, because then Buddha would say: in the absence of desire it happens.He is right in saying that it happens in the absence of desire, but when we hear that it happens in the absence of desire, we start practicing "without desire", we start to get away from desire, and the whole effort is to To become like Buddha is a desire. Buddha didn't try to be like someone else, he didn't ask to be a Buddha, he just tried to understand his own suffering, the more he understood, the more the suffering disappeared, then one day he understood" Desire is poison".If you desire, you become a victim, you cannot be happy, you can only hope, you can only hope and despair, and then more hope and more disappointment, and this will become your cycle, when You become more disappointed, you hope for more, because that is the only consolation, and you move on to the future, because in the present you have been disappointed all the time, and this disappointment has come because of your past. In the past, this present was the future and you hoped for it, now it's a disappointment, and then you hoped for the future again, and when it became the present, you were disappointed again, and then you hoped again, and then you will There is more disappointment and more hope, and with more hope you have more disappointment, it is a vicious circle, the wheel of sansar (sansar: world; desire) is like that. No buddha can give you his own eyes, and it is good that he cannot give you eyes, otherwise you will always be a counterfeit, so you will never be real.Suffering is good because only through suffering can you become real.So, the first thing is: follow your desires so that you can really understand what they really are.To experience whatever pain is hidden there and let it manifest to you is "asceticism". How do you deal with these emotions?Society teaches you to create the opposite extreme.Greed is there, so suppress it and create a mind that is not greedy: Anger is there, so suppress it, don't get angry, push that energy back and smile, what happens?Anger will go on being built up inside, and you will go on becoming more and more angry because more and more energy is being built up inside and becomes anger -- repressed.It becomes your unconscious reservoir, and facing this anger you are smiling, so that smile becomes false, because anger is beating in it, how can you smile?You can smile, but your smile is just a false thing. But forced silence is of no use, you will not be able to succeed, and if you succeed you will fall into lethargy.Forced silence, if successful, becomes lethargy.As far as sleep is concerned, it is good, otherwise it is useless, only when those pent-up energies are fully released, true peace happens.Disturbances come from those pent-up energies; those forced energies that are trying to come out, and that is the problem, that is the inner disturbance, and when it is released, you are unburdened. Then every fiber of your being relaxes, and in that relaxation you can say that you are in a state of no anger, which is not the opposite of anger, it is just the absence of anger, remember, that What is real is always "absence", not the opposite, not the opposite!It has always been the absence - the absence of greed, the absence of sex, the absence of jealousy - and in that absence your true being blossoms, because the disease is gone, so your inner health is Being able to flower, once it starts flowering, you don't accumulate anger, you accumulate anger only because you have lost yourself. Buddha is peaceful, non-violent, but that is not because he has practiced it, but because he has accomplished himself, now the flower is fully bloomed, so nothing can be released, he is satisfied So he's grateful for being, now there's no complaints, nothing's wrong.When you are really blossoming, everything is okay, everything is good, because of this, Buddha cannot see the problem, everything is good!That's why Buddha was not a revolutionary; to be a revolutionary you have to be able to see suffering, you have to be able to feel suffering all around you, you have to be able to feel hell on earth; to be a revolutionary you have to have a sense that everything is is wrong, and only then can you be a revolutionary.Buddha was in this land, Mahavira was in this land, but they were not revolutionaries, why?The "why?" question arises. When a man is at ease, everything is good, he cannot destroy, he can only create, his revolution can only be a creative revolution, and yet you cannot see anything creative.When someone destroys something, only then will it become news, only then will you be able to see it. You are just a seed, and there is a great destiny hidden within, but nothing has been achieved, that potential is wasted: the seed remains a seed, and you feel angry, and this generation is more angry than previous generations , because people are more aware of that possibility and less satisfied, now the new generation knows more than the old generation what is possible, this generation knows more vividly the fact that there are many possibilities, but there is nothing What is happening, nothing is being achieved, so there is more frustration.If you cannot create, at least you can destroy, and you feel your power in your destruction.Anger and violence are destructive forces that exist because creativity is absent. Don't oppose those destructive forces, instead, help them to vent, don't repress them, let them evaporate from you, and then those things that you think are opposites will disappear, and when they evaporate, you will suddenly understand that there is stillness , love and compassion, they are not deliberately cultivated, they are like a stream hidden in a stone, you remove the stone, and the stream starts to flow, the stream is not against the stone, it is not the opposite of the stone, it is just The absence of the stone, when the stone is absent, a place is opened and the stream starts to flow. Love is like a stream in you, and anger is like a stone in you, and you move the stone away, but you keep pushing it in, and inward.Throw the stone away, don't hit others with it.You want to hit somebody because you don't know how to drop it without hitting nobody, that's what I teach: drop it without hitting nobody, no need to drop it at nobody.If you can drop this rock without hitting anyone, everyone will benefit from it.Maybe you didn't drop it on someone else, but it was there all the time, and someone else felt it. When you are angry, no matter how much you repress it, your anger is felt, everyone is aware that some disease has entered, everyone wants to leave you, you become repulsive, you Attitude makes you have a bad smell. You may not be aware of it, but biochemists say that when someone is in love, or in anger, or in sex, there are different odors that come out of the body, literally , rather than being released symbolically.When you are angry a bad smell is released from you, when you are in love the quality is different; in sexual passion a different smell is released. Especially in Tantra, sex can be very helpful, if both of you are experiencing it deeply, then your wife, your husband, or your friend can be very helpful, leaving both of you completely out of control.Forget civilization as if it never existed, step back into the Garden of Eden, throw away that apple, throw away the fruit of that "tree of knowledge", be Adam and Eve before they were kicked out of Eden, step back!Like an innocent animal, express your sexuality to the fullest and you will never be the same again. 有两件事会发生:性意念将会消失,性或许还会存在,但是性意念将会完全消失。当没有性意念,性就是神圣的。当头脑的渴望不存在,当你不去想它,当它变成单纯的涉入、变成全然的行为、变成你整个人的运动,而不只是头脑的运动,那么它就是神圣的。性意念将会首先消失,然后,性或许也会消失,因为一旦你知道了它比较深的核心,你就能够不要性而达到那个核心。 但是你还不知道那个较深的核心,所以你怎么能够达成它呢?第一个瞥见(瞥见神性)的来临是透过全然的性,一旦那个被知道,那个途径也能够以其他方式来经历,只要看着一朵花,你就能够处于当你跟你的配偶在高潮当中会合时同样的狂喜,只要看着星星,你就能够进入它。 一旦你知道了那个途径,你就知道它在你里面,配偶只是帮助你去知道它,而你帮助你的配偶去知道它。它在你里面!别人只是一个引发、别人只是一个挑战,帮助你去知道那个一直在你里面的东西。 这就是那个发生在弟子和师父之间的事,师父能够变成只是你的一个挑战,而将那个一直隐藏在你里面的东西显示给你,师父并没有给你任何东西,他无法给予,没有什么东西可以给予,所有能够给予的都是没有价值的,因为它只能够是一样东西。 那个不能够给予,而只能够被引起的东西,才是有价值的。师父只是引起你、挑战你、帮助你去达到一个你能够成就某种已经在那里的东西的点,一旦你知道了它,你就不需要师父了。 性或许会消失,但是性意念会先消失,那么性就变成一个纯洁的、天真的行为,然后性也会消失,那么就达到了无欲,无欲并不是性的相反,它只是性的不在,记住这个差别,这是你所不知道的。 古老的宗教一直在谴责愤怒和性,好像它们两者是一样的,或者好像它们两者都属于同一个范畴,它们是不同的!愤怒是破坏性的,而性是创造性的,所有古老的宗教都一直以类似的方式来谴责它们,好像愤怒和性、贪婪和性、嫉妒和性是类似的,它们不是!嫉妒是破坏性的——永远都是!它从来不是创造性的,没有什么东西能够由它产生出来。愤怒永远都是破坏性的,但是性并非如此! 性是创造力的泉源,神性使用它来创造。性意念就好像嫉妒、愤怒和贪婪一样,它永远都是破坏性的,性则不然,但是我们不知道纯真的性,我们只知道性意念。 一个在看色情画的人,或是一个去看性狂热电影的人,他并不是在追求性,他是在追求性意念。我知道有一些人,他们无法跟他们的太太做爱,除非他们先看一些黄色杂志、书刊、或照片,当他们看了那些照片,他们才会兴奋,真正的太太反而比不上那些东西,对他们来讲,一张照片、一张裸体照更令人兴奋,那个兴奋并不是在心脏或肠子里,那个兴奋是在头脑里。 性被转移到头上就是性意念,去想性就是性意念,而去经历它是不同的一回事,如果你能够去经历它,你就能够超越它,任何完全经历过的东西会引导你超越,所以,不要害怕任何东西,去经历它!去活过它!如果你认为它对别人有破坏性,那么就单独进入它,不要跟别人一起做,如果你认为它是创造性的,那么就找一个伴侣,找一个朋友,变成一对配偶、完全进入它,如果你仍然觉得别人的存在是有抑制性的,那么你可以单独做它。 最后一个问题: 一个成道的人会梦想吗?你能不能告诉我们某些关于成道者的睡梦品质和性质? 不,一个成道的人不会梦想,如果你很喜欢梦想,那么你永远都不会成道。Notice!做梦是睡觉的一部分,做梦要发生的第一先决条件就是你必须进入睡觉,对于一般的做梦,你必须进入睡觉,在睡觉当中,你变成无意识,当你变成无意识,梦就能够发生,它们只发生在你的无意识当中。 一个成道的人即使在睡觉当中也是有意识的,他不能够变成无意识,即使你给他麻醉剂——氯仿或诸如此类的东西——也只能使他的周围进入睡觉,他还是保持意识,他的意识是不能够被打扰的。 克里虚纳在《吉踏(Gita)经》里面说:当每一个人都在睡觉的时候,瑜珈行者是醒的,并不是说瑜珈行者晚上不睡觉,他们也会睡觉,但是他们睡觉的品质不同,只有身体在睡,那么,他们的睡觉是美的、是一种休息。 你的睡觉并不是休息,它甚至可能是一种努力,早上的时候,你或许会觉得比晚上更精疲力竭,一整个晚上的睡觉,而早上的时候你却觉得更精疲力竭,到底是怎么一回事!你真的是一个奇迹! 整个晚上都是一个内在的骚扰,你的身体没有在休息,因为头脑还是那么活跃,而头脑的活动一定是身体的努力或运作,因为没有身体,头脑无法行动,头脑的行动意味着相对等的身体活动,所以你的身体整个晚上都在动,而且是活跃的,那就是为什么在早上的时候你觉得更精疲力竭。 一个人成道意味着什么?它只意味着一件事:现在他是完美地有意识。任何在他的头脑里进行的,他都有觉知到,当你是觉知的,有某些事会完全停止,只要透过觉知,它们就会停止。它就好像这个房间是暗的,然后你将一根蜡烛带进来,那个黑暗将会消失,但每一样东西都不会消失,这些书架将会在这里,而如果我们坐在这里,我们也还会在这里,藉着将蜡烛带进来,只有黑暗会消失。 当某人成道,他就有内在的光,那个内在的光就是觉知,透过那个觉知,睡觉就消失了,其他不会消失,但是因为睡觉消失,每一样东西的品质就都改变了,如此一来,不论他做什么,他都会处于完美的警觉之中,而那些需要无意识作为必备条件的事就变得不可能。 他无法生气,并不是说他决定不生气,而是他无法生气,愤怒唯有当你是无意识的时候才能够存在,现在无意识不存在,所以那个基础就不存在,因此愤怒就不可能。他无法恨,因为恨唯有当你是无意识的时候才能够存在。他变成爱,并不是因为在他那一方面有任何决定,当光存在,当意识存在,爱就会流动,那是自然的。梦变得不可能,因为梦的第一个需要就是无意识,而他不是无意识的。 在跟佛陀睡在同一个房间之后,佛陀的弟子阿南达告诉他:"这真的是一项奇迹,这非常奇怪,你睡觉的时候从来不移动。"佛陀整个晚上都维持同一个姿势,他从入睡到醒来一直都保持同一个姿势,他的手一直保持在刚好本来的位置。 你或许看过佛陀睡姿的照片,他的姿势被称为"躺下来的姿势",他会整个晚上都维持在这个相同的姿势,阿南达注意他有好几年的时间,每当他注意看佛陀在睡觉,他一定会整个晚上都保持一样,所以他问:"告诉我,你整个晚上都在做什么?你都保持同一个姿势。" 据说佛陀回答:"我只有在我的睡觉当中移动过一次,但那个时候我尚未成佛,就在之前,就在成道发生的几天之前,我在我的睡觉当中移动过,但是那个时候我突然变得觉知,而我觉得奇怪:为什么我要移动?在我这一方面,我不知道我是无意识地移动,但是在成道之后就不需要了,如果我想要的话,我能够移动,但是没有需要,因为身体是那么放松。" 意识甚至在睡觉的时候都会穿透,但是你不成道也可以整个晚上保持一个固定的姿势,你可以练习它,那并不困难,你可以强迫你自己,那么,在几天之内你就可以做到,但问题不在那里,如果你看到一个耶稣在移动,不要认为:"他为什么在移动?"要看情形而定,如果耶稣在睡觉当中移动,他是有意识的;如果他想要移动,他就移动。 对我来说,它的发生是完全相反的,在达到觉知之前,我总是整个晚上用同一个姿势睡觉,我记不得曾经移动过,但是在那个时候之后,我整个晚上都在移动,即使一个姿势维持五分钟对我来讲也已经够多了,我必须一再一再地移动,我知道得非常清楚,它事实上根本不是一个睡觉,所以它要看情形而定,你永远无法从外在来推论任何事情,它永远都只有从内在才可能。 对一个成道的人来讲,觉知将永远保持,即使在睡觉当中也是一样,那么做梦就不可能,做梦需要无意识,这是一个要点;它们还需要悬而未决的经验,这是第二个要点。对于一个成道的人来说,他没有悬而未决的经验、没有不完整的经验,每一件事都是完整的。他已经吃了东西,之后他就不会再想那个吃东西。当他觉得饿,他将会再吃,但是在那个时候,他没有吃的思想。 他已经洗了澡,那么,他就不会想到明天的洗澡,当时候到了,如果他还活着,他将会再洗澡,如果情况允许,它将会发生,但是他不会去想。行为存在,但是他一定不会去想它们。 你是怎么在做的呢?你经常在预演,经常在为明天预演,就好像你是一个演员,而你明天要表演,你为什么要预演?当时间来到,你将会在那里。 成道的人生活在当下这个片刻,生活在这个行为里,他生活得很尽致,所以它不会不完整,如果某事是不完整的,那么它将会在梦中完成。梦是一个完成,它之所以发生是因为头脑不能够让任何事情不完整。如果某事是不完整的,就有一个内在的不安,它会想知道如何完成它,那么在梦中你就会去完成它,那么你就轻松了,即使它是在梦中完成,对头脑来讲,它也是一个放松。 你在梦什么?你只是在完成你白天无法完成的行为,在白天的时候,你或许会想去吻一个女人,但是你不能够吻,那么你就在你的梦中吻她,那么你的头脑就会觉得放松,紧张就会解除。 你的梦只不过是你的不完成,而成道的人是完成的,不论他在做什么,他总是完整地做它,全然地做它、而不会有什么东西悬在那边,所以不需要作任何梦,晚上的做梦将会停止,白天的思想也会停止。 并不是他将变得不能够思考,如果需要的话,他也能够思考,如果你问他一个问题,他会立刻思考,但不需要预演。对你而言,你是先想好,然后回答,但是他的回答就是他的思想、他的思考。这样说也不恰当,因为实际上思考和回答之间没有差距,它是同时的。他强烈地思考,但是没有预演、没有预先思考、没有做梦。他过生活,而如果用思考和做梦,你就错过生活。
