They bowed at his feet and asked for his forgiveness.The girl's father came, took the child back with tears, and said, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? Once you can feel the detachment of nature, then nothing can disturb you, you will remain peaceful, whatever happens in the world, you remain unmoved, even if someone is killing you, only the body will be destroyed Touched, "you" will not be touched, you will remain detached, and this detachment leads you into being, into that which is blissful, which is eternal, into which is real, which is always the same, into that which is immortal Yes, into life itself.你可以称之为神,或者你可以选择你自己的名词;你可以称之为涅槃,你爱怎么称呼就怎么称呼,但是除非你从周围的部分,移到中心的部分,除非你觉知到你里面那永恒的,否则宗教并没有发生在你身上,生命也没有发生在你身上,你是错过的,你错过了一切。错过生活的狂喜是很可能。 山卡拉说:"当一个人知道那个改变的和那个不变的,当一个人知道那个移动的和那个不动的,我就称他为弟子(一个弃俗的人)。"在印度的哲学里,这个被称为"辨别——味味克(Vivek)"。在改变的领域和不改变的领域两者之间辨别,它被称为味味克——辨别、觉知。 这段经文可以用在任何你所做的事,用得非常非常深,而且非常容易。你觉得饿吗?记住两个领域,饥饿只能够被周围的部分感觉到,因为周围的部分需要食物、需要燃料;你不需要食物、不需要任何燃料,但是身体需要它们。记住,当饥饿发生,它是发生在周围的部分,你只是知道它的人,如果你不在那里,它就不会被知道;如果身体不在那里,它就不会被知道;如果身体不在那里,它就不会发生。当你不在的时候,那个知道就不存在,因为身体无法知道,身体能够有它,但是身体无法知道它;你知道它,但是你不能够有它。 所以,永远不要说:"我是饥饿的。"要在里面说:"我知道我的身体是饥饿的。"注重在你的知道,然后那个辨别就会存在。你在变老,永远不要说:"我在变老。"只是说:"我的身体在变老。"然后在死亡的那个片刻,你也会知道:"我没有在死,是我的身体在死,我在改变身体,我只是在改变外壳。"如果这个辩别能够加深,那么,有一天,突然之间就会有成道。 第二段经文: 这里是改变、改变、又改变的领域,透过改变,耗尽改变。 "这里是改变、改变、又改变的领域,透过改变,耗尽改变。"第一件要了解的事就是:你所知道的每一样东西都是改变,除了你——那个知者以外,每一样东西都是改变,你看过任何不是改变的东西吗?整个世界都是改变的现象,即使喜马拉雅山也在改变,他们说——那些研究喜马拉雅山的科学家们说:喜马拉雅山在成长。这群喜马拉雅山是世界上最年轻的山——它仍然一个小孩子,真的——它仍然在成长,它们尚未成熟,它们还没有到达开始衰退的点,它们仍然在上升。 如果你跟另外一个叫做文达雅楚的山相比,它们只是小孩子,文达雅楚是最古老的山之一,某些人说它是世界上最古老的山,它那么老,所以它正在减少、正在下降。有好几世纪的时间,它一直在下降,因年老而正在垂死,所以,甚至看起来那么稳定、那么不变、那么不动的喜马拉雅山也正在改变。它只是一条石头的河流,石头也是一样,它们也是像河流一样——在漂浮。就比较上而言,每一样东西都在改变,某些东西看起来改变较多,某些东西看起来改变较少,但那只是相对的。 你所能够知道的,没有一样东西是不变的。记住我的要点:没有一样你所知道的东西是不变的,除了那个知者以外,没有一样东西是不变的。那个知者总是在背后,它一直都是"知道",而不"被知道",它永远无法变成客体,它一直都是主体。任何你所做的,或是你所知道的,它总是在后面,你无法知道它。当我这样说,不要觉得困扰,当我说你无法知道它,我的意思是说你无法把它当成一个客体来知道。我能够看着你,但是我怎么能够以同样的方式看着我自己?那是不可能的,因为在一个知道的关系里,两样东西是需要的——知者和被知者。所以,当我看着你,你是被知者,我是知者,而那个"知道"可以作为一个桥梁而存在,但是当我看着我自己,当我试着去知道我自己,要在那里产生那个桥梁?只有我,单独的、完全单独的,另外一边丧失了,所以要在那里产生那个桥梁?如何去知道我自己? 所以"知道自己"是一个负向的过程,你无法直接知道你自己,你只能够一直削除你所知道的客体、继续削除你所知道的客体,当没有你所知道的客体,当你不能够知道任何东西,当什么东西都没有,而只有真空,只有空(静心就是如此——削除所有你知道的客体),那么就有一个片刻会来临,在那个片刻里,只有意识存在,但是没有什么东西让你意识到;"知道"存在,但是没有什么东西可以去知道,只留下简单的、纯粹的"知"的能量,而没有留下什么东西可以去知道,没有客体。 在那种状态下,当没有什么东西可以去知道,那么,就某种意义而言,它就被说成你知道你自己,但是那种知道跟所有其他的知道是完全不同的,两者使用同一个字是不对的。有一些神秘家(很少为人所知的成道者)说,"知道自己"是矛盾的,那个名词本身就是矛盾的。知道总是在说知道其他东西,"知道自己"是不可能的,但是当其他的东西不存在,那么,就有某件事会发生,或许你可以称它为"知道自己"(Selfknowledge),但那个字是误导的。 所以,任何你所知道的都是改变。每一个地方,甚至这些墙壁都经常在改变,现在,物理学家支持这个观点,即使是墙壁,它看起那么固定、那么不变,它也是每一片刻都在改变。有一个很大的流动在进行着,每一个原子都在移动,每一个电子都在移动,每一样东西都在快速移动,那个移动是那么快,以致于你无法测知它,那就是为什墙壁看起来那么永恒不变。早上的时候,它像这样,下午的时候,它像这样,晚上的时候它像这样,昨天它像这样,明天它也将会像这样,你看着它,好像它是一样的,但它是不一样的,你的眼睛没有能力测知这么大的运动。 风扇在那里,如果风扇移动得非常快,你就看不到那个空隙,它看起好像一个圆圈,因为那个运动很快,所以空间无法被看到,如果那个运动非常快,快到好像电子在移动,你将根本不会看到那个风扇在移动,你将无法测知那个运动,那个风扇将会看起来是固定的,你将甚至能够去碰触它,它将会是固定的,而你的手将甚至不能够进入那个空隙,因为你的手无法移动那么快而进入那个空隙,在你进入之前,另一片风扇叶子就已经来了,在你移动之前,又另外一片叶子就又来了,你将一直都会碰触到风扇的叶子,而那个移动是那么快,以致于那个风扇将会看起来好像是不动的。那些不动的东西事实上是动得非常快,所以它们外表看起来是固定的。 这段经文说每一样东西都是改变:"这里是改变的领域……"佛陀的整个哲学就是根据这段经文,佛陀说每一样东西都是一个流动,都是改变的、不永恒的,一个人必须知道这一点。佛陀对这一点非常强调,他的整个观点都以它为根据,他说:"改变、改变、改变,继续记住这一点。"为什么呢?如果你能够记住改变,你就会变得超然,当每一样东西都在改变,你怎么可能执著? 注意看一张脸,它非常美,当你注意看一张非常美的脸,你会觉得它将会继续保持,深入了解它,永远不要期待说它将会保持,如果你知道它改变很快,如果你知道:这个片刻它是美的,而下个片刻它或许是丑的,你怎么可能感觉任何执著?That is impossible.注意看一个身体,它是活的,下一个片刻它将会是死的。如果你感觉到那个改变,一切都是没有用的。佛陀离开他的皇宫、他的家庭、他漂亮的太太、他的小孩,当某人问他:"为什么?"他说:"在那个无常的地方,有什么用?小孩子将会死。"佛陀离开的那个晚上,他的小孩子刚被生下来,他刚出生只有几个小时,佛陀到他太太的房间看了最后一眼,她太太的背对着门,抱着那个在睡觉的小孩,佛陀想要说再见,但是他抗拒,他说:"有什么用?" 有一个思想闪过他的头脑:"小孩子才第一天生下来,才生下来几个小时,我必须看一下。"但是接着他说:"有什么用?每一样东西都在改变,今天小孩子被生下来,明天小孩子将会死,一天之前他在这里,现在他在这里,再过一天,他就不在这里,所以有什么用?每一样东西都在改变。"他离开了,他掉过头来就走了。 当某人问:"你为什么离开一切?"他说:"我在找寻那个从来不改变的,如果我执著于那个会改变的,将会有挫折,如果我执著于那个在改变的,那么我就是愚蠢的,因为它将会改变,它将不会保持一样,而我将会受到挫折,所以我在找寻那个永远不会改变的,如果有任何从来不改变的东西的话。唯有如此,生命才有价值和意义,否则一切都是无用的。"他的整个教导就是以改变为基础。 这段经文很美,这段经文说:"透过改变,耗尽改变。"佛陀一定不会说第二部分,第二部分基本上是坦陀罗的。佛陀会说一切都是改变,感觉它,那么你将不会执著于它,当你不执著于它,渐渐地,藉着离开每一样改变的东西,你将会进入你自己,进入那个不变的中心。只要继续削除改变,你将会来到那个不变的,你将会来到那个中心——轮子的中心。所以佛陀选择轮子作为他宗教的象征,因为轮子会转动,但是那个转动的轮子的中心保持不动。所以,世界就像轮子一样在转动;你的人格就像轮子一样在转动,而你最内在的本质就停留在那个正在转动的轮子中心,那个中心是维持不动的。 佛陀会说:生命是改变,他会同意第一部分,而下一个部分——第二个部分是典型的坦陀罗:"透过改变,耗尽改变。"坦陀罗说:不要离开那个在改变的,要进入它。不要执著,但是要进入,为什么要害怕呢?进入它、经验它,让它发生,而你进入它。透过它本身来耗尽它,不要害怕、不要逃避,你要逃到哪里去呢?你怎么能够逃避呢?到处都是改变,坦陀罗说:到处都是改变,你要逃到哪里去呢?你能够走到哪里去呢? 不管你走到哪里都会有改变,一切的逃避都没有用,所以不要试着去逃避,那么要怎么办呢?不要执著。去经验改变,成为那个改变,不要跟它抗争,跟着它走。河流在流动,你要跟着它流,甚至不要游,让河流带领你,不要跟它抗争,不要因为跟它抗争而浪费你的能量,只要放松,只要放开来,跟着河流流动。 将会发生什么?如果你能够跟着河流流动而不要有任何冲突,不要有任何你自己的方向,如果河流的方向就是你的方向,突然间你就会觉知到:你不是河流,你会觉知到你不是河流!感觉它,找一天到河里去试试看。去到河流那里,放松,让河流带领着你。不要抗争,变成河流,突然间你将会觉得到处都是河流,但你不是河流。 在抗争当中,你或许会忘掉这一点,那就是为什么坦陀罗说:"透过改变,耗尽改变。"不要抗争,没有这个需要,因为改变不能够进入你,所以不要害怕。生活在世界里,不要害怕,因为世界不能够进入你,去经验它,不要选择这个方式或那个方式。 有两种人:一种会执著于改变的世界,而另一种会逃避,但是坦陀罗说:它是改变,所以执著于它是没有用的,逃避也是没有用的,有什么用呢?佛陀说:"停留在改变的世界里有什么用?"坦陀罗说:"逃避它有什么用?两者都是没有用的,相反地,要让它发生,不要去顾虑它,它在发生,对它来讲,你甚至是不需要的。以前没有你的时候,世界在改变,将来你不存在的时候,世界也将会继续改变,所以,为什么要创造出任何无谓的纷扰?" "透过改变,耗尽改变。"这是一个非常深的讯息。透过愤怒,耗尽愤怒;透过性,耗尽性;透过贪婪,耗尽贪婪;透过世界,耗尽世界。不要与它抗争,要放松,因为抗争产生紧张,抗争产生焦虑、痛苦,而你将会不必要地受到打扰,让世界保持它现在的样子。 有两种类型的人,一种是不能够让世界保持它现在的样子的人,他们被称为革命分子,他们会去改变它,他们会奋斗去改变它,他们会在改变它的当中摧毁了他们的整个人生,而事实上世界已经在改变,他们是不需要的,他们只会耗竭他们自己,他们将会在燃烧的世界中燃烧掉,而世界已经在改变,没有革命是真正需要的,世界本来就是一个革命,它正在改变。 你或许会怀疑为什么印度没有产生伟大的改革者,那是因为有这个洞见说每一样东西都已经在改变,为什么你要很麻烦地去改变它,你既无法改变它,也无法停止它的改变。它正在改变,为什么要浪费你自己? 有一类型的人格总是试着要去改变世界,在宗教的眼光里,他是神经病的,事实上,他是害怕来到他自己,所以他继续去改变世界,而变成心灵被世界所占据。国家必须被改变,政府必须被改变,社会、结构、经济,每一样东西都必须被改变,而他将会死,他将不会有狂喜的片刻,他将不能够藉着知道他是什么而狂喜。世界将会继续,轮子将会继续移动,世界曾经看过很多革命分子,而它还是继续在移动,你既不能停止它,也不能加速它的改变。 这是神秘家的态度:神秘家们说不需要去改变世界,但是神秘家也有两种类型,其中一种会说不需要改变世界,但是需要改变自己,他也相信改变,但他不是相信改变世界,而是相信改变他自己,然而坦陀罗说不需要去改变任何人,既不需要改变世界,也不需要改变你自己,那是神秘主义最深的核心,你不需要改变世界,也不需要改变你自己,你只要知道每一样东西都在改变,然后在改变中漂浮、在改变中放松。 当没有努力去创造任何改变,你就能够完全放松,因为如果有努力存在,你就不能够放松,那么紧张就会存在,因为在未来,某种有价值的东西将会发生:世界将会改变,世界将会"变成共产主义的",或是"地球的乐园将会来临",或是将会有一个未来的乌托邦,或是你将进入"神的国度",进入"莫克夏"(自由)。在乐园的某一个地方"天使们正在等着来欢迎你",但是这个"某一个地方"是在未来,有了这种态度,你就会产生紧张。 坦陀罗说:忘了它,世界已经在改变,而你也已经在改变,"改变"就是"存在",所以不要为它烦恼,没有你,它也已经在发生,你是不需要的,你只要在它里面漂浮,而不要对未来焦虑,突然间,在改变当中,你将会觉知到你里面从来不改变、一直都保持原来的样子、一直都一样的中心。 它为什么会发生?因为如果你放松,那么那个改变的背景将会给你对照,透过它,你就能够感觉到那个不变的,如果你作任何努力去改变世界或改变你自己,你就无法看到里面那个很小的、不动的中心。你的心灵太过于被改变所占据,因此你无法看清事实是怎么样。 到处都在改变,"改变"变成背景、变成对照,而你是放松的,所以,在你的头脑里没有未来,没有未来的思想,你在此时此地,这个片刻就是一切。每一样东西都在改变,突然间,你会觉知到有一个点在你里面,那个点是从来不改变的。"透过改变,耗尽改变。"这就"透过改变,耗尽改变。"的意思。 不要抗争,透过死亡,变成不朽的;透过死亡,让死亡死掉,不要跟它抗争,坦陀罗的态度很难去设想,因为我们的头脑总是想要去做某事,而它是一个无为,它只是在放松,而不是在做,但这是最被隐藏的秘密之一,如果你能够感觉到这个,你就不需要担心其他任何东西,这个技巧就能够给你一切。 那么你就不需要做任何事,因为你已经知道了那个秘密:透过改变,改变可以被耗尽;透过死亡,死亡可以被耗尽;透过性,性可以被耗尽;透过愤怒,愤怒可以被耗尽。现在你已经知道了那个秘密:透过毒药,毒药可以被耗尽。
