Chapter 3 Brief Introduction to Prajna Aspect-3

Prajna Aspect 南怀瑾 9923Words 2018-03-20
So you can see that the Huayan Sutra has four dharma realms.Matters in the Dharma Realm, Li Dharma Realm, and the Dharma Realm are not hindered by things. When the time comes, the reason will also come; For example, we walk, live, sit and lie down in our daily life. It's all one thing, and everything has its philosophical and scientific truth. But each of us ordinary people naturally knows that going to the toilet, dressing, eating, and everything is normal, and we don't care about it at all. Therefore, the ultimate of reason is matter, and both reason and matter perish, and only those who can do what they can do can attain Buddhahood.Let me tell you, this is Zen practice!I asked everyone today, but there is still no way. It's been said before, and I still don't know the point, which is serious and bad.Everyone should take the practice route of prajna meditation well, not only for your own future achievements, but also to teach and help others after you have achieved it.Some students studied here for a short period of time and left before they finished their studies. When he was outside, the Buddhist group asked him to give a lecture, but he couldn't refuse. Only then did he realize that he had to go to a higher level. He was cautious in his words and deeds every day, and he sent me his study diary to see what he did every day. , I am aware of any difficulties encountered. After a while, I ran back again, wanting to continue studying hard.People are needed everywhere! In the future, you will take turns going out to spread the Dharma. If that doesn’t work, then don’t hang around here any longer. This is not a nursing home or a nursery. Stand up for others, realize others consciously, sacrifice yourself, and benefit all living beings. This is the never-ending vow of Mahayana Bodhisattva. The scriptures say: "If you have not been saved before, save others first, and the Bodhisattva will be determined." If you are asked to spread the Dharma, where are you going? It depends on how you go about creating it.Everything depends on the teacher, no!Could it be that after you die, you still need a teacher to fix a coffin for you; and then: "Teacher, please help me put it in the coffin." In the coffin, you also say: "Teacher, please straighten my head." Is this okay? ? !So this winter vacation meditation, the requirements are stricter than before, it's not a joke.I hope you all take good care of yourself and have your own experience. How to watch? How to take pictures? It has been explained earlier. Now ask another question, what kind of prajna does contemplation and care belong to? (Some students tried to answer hesitantly: "Is it true reality Prajna?") Wrong. You answering like this is tantamount to guessing the question, just take chances, it's not good.According to Zen Buddhism: "Thinking to know, thinking to get, this is the work of ghosts." Think about it to know, study and think about it, it is not the natural expression of self-nature and prajna, and it is not the true quality of Taoism. , but suspicion ploy.

The internal meaning of prajna includes the following five types: reality prajna, state prajna, text prajna, convenient prajna (retting and prajna), and relative prajna (giving, keeping precepts, patience, diligence, and meditation). The "view" of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and the "photograph" of seeing that the five aggregates are empty are both things in the realm, and both are realm prajna. The three stages of our practice—"Awareness and Contemplation" (with seeking and service), "Without awareness and contemplation" (without seeking and only contemplation), "without awareness and without contemplation" (without seeking and without contemplation) - can Experience the distinction between observation and illumination. The realm of contemplation is searching, just like looking for something, for example, a needle dropped on the ground, what should I do?The house was pitch dark, so we had to search and explore slowly by candlelight or the light of a flashlight. This is "finding". "Serving" means not searching, searching and searching, but you can't find it, just sit there and wait. The small bright light that was originally moving around stops at one place and freezes. Over time, the light gradually enlarges. This is the state of waiting. In the end, like a blind cat bumping into a dead mouse, it magnifies the light all at once, penetrating the heavens and the earth, until it reaches the point where the five aggregates are all empty and there is no hindrance.Ordinary people who learn Buddhism, whether they are studying Tantra or Sutra, start with seeking and serving. If you can't visualize it for a while, even if you visualize it and run away, you will feel ashamed, repentant, and sad. Then visualize and look for it again, with all kinds of twists and turns, and then barely settle down, that is, waiting. But just now I thought I could do it by myself, so I stopped it proudly, alas, it ran away again.I had no choice but to look for it again, so I searched and waited again and again, and finally reached the place where there is no search and no search, and I don’t think good or evil, which is quite good. When the mind arises at any time, where do the thoughts come from?where to goWhen the kung fu is relatively proficient, the former thought has disappeared, the later thought has not yet arisen, and the middle part is empty, some people will desperately read it very firmly, right? This has become a low-grade practice again, why are you looking at that paragraph with all your heart!Look at the stinky ditch? !Hey!You have forgotten what the Diamond Sutra says: "The mind of the past cannot be obtained, the mind of the present cannot be obtained, and the mind of the future cannot be obtained." The thoughts of the past have passed, and the thoughts of the future have not yet come. Why are you obsessed with nothingness? This is not wisdom to participate in!Because that emptiness is also created by your mind and consciousness, and it cannot be regarded as real.So if you don't watch it, what should you do?How to choose between watching and not watching? If I talk about it like this, you will be stupid. If you go a little deeper, I will know that you can't stand it.Practitioners have really reached the place of liberation, and there is no way to observe the mind or not to observe the mind.Liberation is liberation, without delay. But at the beginning, everything should come from Prajna. The Heart Sutra tells us: There are many Bodhisattvas, according to Prajna Paramita; there is no hindrance to the heart, no hindrance to the heart, no terror, and stay away from upside-down dreams.Ultimate Nirvana, Prajna is the mother of all dharmas, and one must practice Prajna.

The pure prajna meditation method is to observe the birth and death of the self-consciousness. It doesn't matter where to start the observation. Mothers-in-law, it is unnecessary. The mind is not in the middle of the inner and outer. However, ordinary practitioners tend to concentrate their attention on the head when doing this method of visualization, which can cause high blood pressure and other diseases. Therefore, we provide you with the convenience of observing gently in the heart; I am afraid that you do not understand the part of the heart, especially the inner part of the heart. Here, between the two nipples, where the ribs meet in the hollow. It's here to watch naturally. You see how patient I am.Often you have a lot of questions that are not a problem, and I listen to them quietly word by word; I sit for hours every week for those muddled and inexplicable diaries, carefully reading each sentence. .This is the paramita of patience and humiliation. In fact, there is no need to endure, forbearance is empty.Observation and illumination are different in level.Everyone pay attention to the scriptures: "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, practice the deep Prajna Paramita for a long time." How to practice?Walk, stand, sit and lie down, raise your mind and think about it, and be in the observation at any time.If it is said that observing is handy, then what is it that you can observe? When observing the mind to a certain extent, various realms will naturally appear due to different personal karma. When someone sees the circle of light when he arrives, if he has anything to ask, he will know as long as he looks in the circle of light, and if he becomes attached to it, he will go astray and make a mistake. The realm is real, and the landscape and characters you see are also real, not necessarily from this life.So is this delusional? ——— It is delusional thoughts, it is the predestined image of the six dusts, and what is more, it is the realized image of the eighth alaya seed consciousness. So you have to observe this thought, if this thought does not move, how do you see it? !If you can't think about it, how can you get to the realm? !When the head moves, the breath also moves, and if the breath doesn’t move, the realm can’t come out, right? !All realms are thoughts, and all appearances are false.Whether it's feeling, thinking, or Qi channels, it's all phase.Once you understand this principle, it will be easier to get on the road and you will not make mistakes.Everyone should contemplate clearly, Long Tong can't do it, and then see the realm, bah! ! !Fuck you, just straighten, move, there is not even a ghost, what kind of realm is there. This is a method. There is a Mahamudra method in Tantric Buddhism, where you utter the word "呵" vigorously to get rid of all delusions and distractions, and make your state of mind immediately brighter. At that time, my teacher, Mr. Yuan, told me his previous experience of practicing Zen and Huatou: single-minded, unremitting day and night, no matter if he vomited blood, a man is a man, he will die when he dies, and he will never regret it. One day, he woke up in the morning and folded cotton Quilt, shake the quilt like this, another sun comes out; shake it twice, one sun after another rolls out one after another.Hey!He said that those who learn swordsmanship, learn to see light, and practice supernatural powers are all like this.Went to his!Why are you lying to me!He didn't fold the quilt anymore, spit it out, and went to meditate. He is really a great practitioner, no matter how "the wind blows the waves", he will never be turned by the realm. However, when you reach the point of "seeing that the five aggregates are all empty, you can overcome all hardships and hardships", have you reached the end? -- not exactly.Besides, you haven't seen that the five aggregates are empty.I have to watch slowly, and reflect back to the light at any time. If you go so deep, it will be as natural as a person drinking water, knowing whether it is warm or not. When you recite the gatha of the Shurangama Mantra in the morning and evening class, there are two sentences: "Dedicate this body and mind to the world, and this is called repaying the Buddha's grace."

You are sitting there now, the five aggregates are not empty.Sometimes qi fluctuates, what is the qi channel? They are all changes of the four major forms.Qi is the element of wind, and the pulse is the combination of the elements of water, earth, and fire, which are initially initiated by the nerves.Qi channels cannot be connected, form cannot be emptied, body and mind cannot be emptied, and reality Prajna cannot appear. Therefore, the first step is to start practicing according to "form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, emptiness is form, and perception and awareness are the same". There is no truth of suffering, the truth of suffering is the truth of the way, and the five aggregates are the truth of collection, and a prajna-contemplating method can implement "the origin of suffering and the elimination of the way".To get rid of all suffering, first destroy all origins, how to destroy all origins, and only after attaining the Tao can we destroy all origins. This is not just reasoning, it is all about practicing the law!Everyone should follow the teachings of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva well, and contemplate the relationship between the body, the body, the dharma, and the nature and emptiness.Otherwise, if you close your eyes and meditate, it will be dark inside, ignorant, and you can't figure it out, how pitiful and sad!You are observing the mind like this now, don’t look upwards, don’t look at it in your mind.Peaceful, natural and natural, just gently start from the heart.Never cling to the flesh and take the flesh so seriously. If you do the view of the bones, the empty frame of the bones probably focuses on the part of your heart.Do you understand? You have to listen to every word, don't focus on the surface, but you are actually groggy, inexplicable, and a waste of time.If you can't remember the words, you just fall into the memory. If you can remember every sentence clearly and clearly, but there are no false thoughts in your mind, this is the power of samadhi.Alright, let me tell you now, the answers you gave just now are somewhat shadowy.Viewing and illuminating are the same but different, and have different levels. If the practice has reached the state of illumination, then it has reached the realm of the law without hindrance, but has not yet reached the realm of the law without hindrance; between. However, those who can't really practice hard and just talk about reasoning, whether they are contemplating or illuminating, are dealing with the boundary of the Dharma realm. Some people also ask, how is the state of no search and no observation different from no record? No record is nothing to remember, no search and no service is no search and no service, it's that simple! When the practice of Prajna Paramita is deep, you can distinguish it by yourself. If you don’t practice it, why talk about it? (At this time, some students asked: Guan is the position of cultivating the Tao, and seeing is the position of seeing the Tao, right? The master replied: In terms of kung fu, it can be said that it is barely true, but it is not true.)

Now I will tell you a Zen story and see if anyone can understand it.It happened in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, in the area of the three towns in Wuhan, Hubei today, where the famous Yellow Crane Tower is located. Zhou." At that time, there was a master Shan who thought he had fully enlightened himself. Once, he went to a lay monk who had already practiced Taoism and went home to ask for alms. The great layman received the Zen master, and knowing that he came for alms, he said: "Okay, great monk, I will ask you, and I can answer all the offerings, but if I can't answer it, don't talk about it." The monk said yes, you can ask.The layman asked: "How is the ancient mirror before it is polished?" An old bronze mirror, dirty and full of copper rust, what would it be like before it was wiped clean? The monk replied, "It's as black as lacquer." It was as if it had been stained with paint. The layman asked again: "What about the ancient mirror after it has been worn?" What if it was wiped clean? The monk replied: "The sky shines on the earth." This is good, the great layman said: "No, I'm sorry, please go out, I won't make offerings to you." There is nothing wrong!According to the doctrine, there is nothing wrong with the Zen master's answer. The ancient mirror has not been sharpened, and the mind has not yet gained concentration and wisdom. Before enlightenment, it is as black as lacquer. What is wrong? What about the old mirror after it has been worn?According to the sky and the earth, isn't that the eighth alaya consciousness mentioned by Consciousness-only, turning into the wisdom of the great circle mirror? But Zongmen Patriarch Zen is different from Tathagata Zen.If you go to alms for alms and encounter the same situation, you will be kicked out of the house, will you not be convinced? Not convinced.Of course, this monk was not convinced, and went to practice again, and lived in a thatched hut for meditation. After three years, he came back to alms. The great layman saw that he was coming again, okay, please sit down, I ask you, or the old saying: "How was the ancient mirror before it was polished?" Answer: "This is not far from Hanyang." Ask again: "The ancient mirror is How about after grinding?" Answer: "Pingwu Island in front of the Yellow Crane Tower".Hey!Please accept the offer. What's the point?Three years of experience was not in vain after all. What he said earlier is that it is no longer the stage where ordinary people are playing catchphrases. He has really reached a certain level and has considerable skill, but it is still not enough.Seeing that the five aggregates are all empty, is it considered the Tao?It’s not right, our Layman Vimo said it’s not right, what can you do?During this winter vacation group practice, everyone should observe the mind well, and not do insight points, or recite mantras and other kung fu.The clear point is created by the mind. Reciting the Buddha and mantras is also done by the mind, and it is also the same mind that is thinking when visualizing Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. All thinking is a state, whether it is a Buddha, a demon, a landscape, or a person, it is a state; what can create a state, think about it, and do all kinds of fabrications is not a state. What is observed and illuminated is the disguised form of the mind, which is the state of prajna; what can be observed and illuminated is not the state of prajna, but the reality of prajna.Practitioners must find the one who can contemplate and reflect, and only then can they begin to discover their original face.

In order to avoid that you seem to understand but don’t understand, mother-in-law, mother-in-law, again and again, explain the heart sutra prajna meditation, from beginning to end, from end to beginning, and explain it tirelessly. I hope you can understand it well. , and remember it well in the field of eight senses.Once it enters the ear, it will be the seed of Tao forever. There are already a few of you who have started a little. But most of them are still inexplicable and incomprehensible, and some are even more clever and self-righteous, reasoning there, putting their heads on their heads, and getting more and more outrageous.Everyone here has at least seven days of meditation experience, let go of all dharmas, let go of all attachments. Please repent carefully now, every time you go to the seat, don’t forget what you said before, first repent sincerely, and then make a sincere vow.Next, observe the mind according to the Heart Sutra, and practice like this.Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva began to teach us the truth of suffering from the Four Noble Truths "the origin of suffering and the extinction of the Tao", and it was painful. The sea of suffering is vast, and all sentient beings suffer from suffering. Not only is it difficult not to seek the worldly law, but it is even more painful to seek the worldly law without being able to respond.Want to learn Buddhism, want to become a monk, want to become enlightened, how hard it is!Everything in the world is suffering. How can I get rid of this suffering?Where does suffering come from? -- from "I".If there is me, there will be suffering.Where do I come from? From body to heart. It comes from the combination of thoughts and four elements, and is called the five aggregates of "form, feeling, thought, action and consciousness".Only by mastering the five aggregates can one jump out of the sea of suffering.Jumping out of the sea of suffering is to "survive all the past".Just like taking a boat from shore to shore, you need tools.Prajna observation is the best and most wonderful tool.Starting to practice according to it, the self-nature is self-sufficient, and the self-nature is self-sacrificing. Are you afraid that you will not be able to jump out of the abyss of pain and see that the five aggregates are all empty? If we do the bone-bone meditation, the muscles, qi channels, nerves, cells, etc. in the body are all melted away, and there are still qi channels that are not qi channels, wouldn’t it be all right? To have a Qi channel is to have a body, and the body is to receive yin.Where does Shouyun come from?Come from the four elements of form aggregate. The four elements are empty, let alone the four aggregates of perception, perception, and consciousness. Therefore, he could not survive all the hardships and suffered for a long time. Therefore, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva told Sariputra to get rid of all sufferings in the world from the Avalokitesvara. When observing the mind, don't be deliberate, don't use force, just observe naturally.Actually, as soon as you observe this thought, this thought has already gone away.Do not pursue what is gone, and do not welcome what has not yet arisen in the future. The present moment is empty.Whether it is empty or not, a single thought is pure and at ease. When there are distracting thoughts and delusions, --- give up, give away, that is, "let go" in traditional Zen Buddhism.Thinking about giving up, be it good thoughts or evil thoughts, worldly thoughts, Buddhist thoughts, all are illusory. For example, as the Yuanjue Sutra says, "Knowing the illusion is leaving."Knowing that this thought is false and illusory, when it comes, there is no need to chase it away, just look at it lightly, it is empty in the first place! "No fake convenience".There is no need to ask Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for help. "Awakening from illusion".Without delusion, wouldn't it be quiet and clear, self-nature prajna, without procedures, "nor gradual", and present now, isn't that great? However, some people may have misinterpreted the Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment, thinking that they will become Buddhas after awakening. He didn't know that even so, it was still the first awakening, not the original awareness.

The skill of Prajna Contemplation and Practice has really reached home, and suddenly, the epiphany realizes that the five aggregates are all empty. The body and mind are all empty inside and outside, seeing the vacuum of self-nature.If there are still energy channels, sensations, pain, and discomfort when sitting, then they are all trapped in the yin of receiving and thinking, so what else is there to talk about?Even if you get concentration, your breathing stops, and your pulse doesn’t stop, you still haven’t been able to break away from Yin.Even if the pulse stops, your warmth, longevity, and consciousness are still there, and you still cannot exceed the control of the consciousness yin. Then, through the practice of "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva practices deep Prajna Paramita for a long time, he can see that all five aggregates are empty", everyone will continue to practice directly, from observation to illumination. When it’s time to take photos, it’s not strenuous at all, and you don’t need to practice, but you don’t leave the practice.Cultivate naturally, practice without practice, and there is no place to focus on. It seems that there is no practice and no certificate, but you can overcome all hardships with clarity. If this kind of mind-watching method is not effective for a while, we can also use the next convenient observation wisdom of "form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, emptiness is form, and perception and awareness are the same" to cooperate with it And repair.A person with great wisdom, when he hears "form is emptiness", it doesn't matter if his legs are crossed or not, he stops at one thought, throws away his body, and throws it away.Ordinary people can't get rid of it no matter what. Since beginningless time, they have been reluctant to part with this body that gathers the fundamental karma. Zen calls it the color millet.Just like the wax pill, once the medicine was put into the wax pill, the envelope was stuck and could not be opened. You see, how troublesome and powerful this color millet is.However, if you really emptied the physical body, don’t just cling to emptiness. You only know the emptiness of nature, you don’t know dependent origination, and you can’t have magical effects. You must turn your heart to the great, and turn into a bodhisattva. "Consequent origin and emptiness, sexual emptiness and contingent origin", all kinds of cosmic phenomena that are dependent origin are inherently empty; and precisely because the nature is empty, all things in the world can be dependent. Therefore, the above two sentences "form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form" refer to "dependent origin and emptiness"; the following two sentences immediately turn around and go straight to the wonderful realm of "nature and emptiness dependent origination" of the Mahayana Bodhisattva, "form is emptiness , emptiness is form".It doesn't matter if the four elements are discarded or not, they are naturally empty. You feel that you are trapped by the four major obstacles, but in fact it is your own thoughts that are causing trouble and self-restraint. The four major obstacles do not hinder you.If you understand this truth, why not the existence of the four elements? !Only with the four majors can we create various careers and accomplish various meritorious deeds, how wonderful! In this way, the situation of "receiving" is the same, "feeling is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from feeling, feeling is emptiness, and emptiness is feeling".You sit here, even if you feel empty, you don’t have to cling to this empty space all the time.In other words, it’s not bad to be trapped in the shade and suffer!Legs crossed, sitting for a long time, oh my mother!Wouldn't it be interesting to have this experience in life? ! (laughs)

I told you yesterday that if you suffer more punishment, you will get rid of more karma.Since time immemorial, we have destroyed other people’s good deeds, harmed other sentient beings, and caused them to suffer great physical and mental pain. We have done this kind of thing a lot, and now we have a taste of it and enjoy it. Why do we have to be so unwilling? Twitching and pinching, how unpromising. "Feeling is emptiness, and emptiness is feeling." If your legs are numb and you are sad, then you can turn around and look inward for a while. When you are sore, swollen and numb, take a closer look. It is very interesting. We can still talk to it, Ge Laozi, what the hell are you hurting?Be good, okay? !Hey, isn't this a pain in the ass!The one of yours that clearly knows it hurts doesn't hurt, does it?understand? If you really understand it, you will be able to practice Prajna. (laughs) Then it's the turn to "think". "Thinking is not different from emptiness", it is illusory, false, and cannot be recognized as real, so it is called delusion, why should you be so stubborn and be deceived!Think, you try to think, think enough for you, tired of thinking, do you still want to see? When a thought comes, it doesn't stay with you, it just slips away in an instant. It comes without a shadow, goes without a trace, has no origin, and has nowhere to go. It is simply that it comes to empty you. Do you really have the ability to empty it?However, when you feel that you have entered a state of purity, don't grab on to purity, cling to emptiness, and think you are wise. "Empty is not a fantasy", the state of emptiness is originally a double phase of delusion, what is so strange about it?Ordinary ordinary people's delusion falls on the edge of existence, life after life is inseparable from the six realms of reincarnation; while the Hinayana sravakas fall on the edge of space, they can't play all kinds of wonderful functions, and they have not yet come to the end. "Thinking is emptiness, emptiness is thinking", thinking and emptiness are not the same, there is no question of wanting or not, emptiness or not.You cling to a emptiness and think you are right, but in fact it is just a big delusion that should not be used, and you should be punished! After the problem of receiving yin and thinking of yin has been solved, the problems of yin practice and yin awareness are followed. "Formation is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from action"; "Consciousness is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from consciousness"; Formation and consciousness cannot be recognized by ordinary people, and it is difficult to understand. Some of you think you understand the Heart Sutra, so you can talk casually, don't slander the law and do evil! You are overwhelmed by lust, and you are overwhelmed by thoughts, and slowly you realize that there are no delusions. Although there seems to be no delusions, there is something. What it is, I can't tell it, it's not outside, not inside, not in the middle, but there seems to be something there, this is yin.It is this thought of ignorance that is doing evil, but you think it is pure; you think it is the way, and you see your big-headed ghost alive.Besides, the "thinking" and "knowledge" of receiving thought and knowing are different from each other.Thinking can only be said to be the superficial effect of consciousness.Consciousness-only "knowledge" is very profound, not simple. It's not surprising that you don't understand the lecture on "Consciousness-Only Theory", you should. But if you can achieve "form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, emptiness is form", then you can go all the way, understand and get rid of the following yin conditions-feeling, thinking, action, and consciousness.

After Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva finished talking about the truth of the five aggregates, he continued to make a further conclusion to Shariputra. "Shariputra is the emptiness of all dharmas", not only the body must be emptied, not only the self, but also the dharma must be emptied.Whether it is Prajna, Buddhism, action, or inaction, all of them are illusions. "Dharma is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from dharma, dharma is emptiness, and emptiness is dharma", all dharmas are discarded and empty. All Dharma emptiness, Hinayana, Mahayana, Sutra, Esoteric Buddhism, etc., all dharmas, there is no sloppy, but if you don't be greedy for a emptiness, then it is right. Then, in this emptiness of all dharmas, you just practice. The emptiness of all dharmas is "neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor clean, neither increasing nor decreasing".Reality Prajna, self-nature is vacuum. In this state, it is natural to cultivate without cultivation, and to realize without certification, which is the depth of practice. But what is unborn? --There is no way to endure. All day long, despite eating and dressing; despite joking, laughing, and even running around, happy, angry, sad, and joyful, but it does not move, it is born but not born.Every thought has been used, and it is empty at the moment, and it is there when it is used.Since it is not born, of course it is not dead, and it is not born and dies, and there is no hindrance to consummation. Moreover, in the comparison of all dharmas and emptiness, there is still something dirty or not, clean or not, "not dirty or not clean".Good thoughts and evil thoughts are not touched, such as the void of the universe, fragrant, smelly, good and bad, it tolerates everything, and does not lose its true colors.Among all dharmas and emptiness, if you practice it, you can’t get more, and if you don’t practice it, you can’t lose a little bit. Emptiness is emptiness. It doesn’t matter how big or small it is. It doesn’t matter if it increases or decreases. , does this mean that the Tao is missing? --No less! "No increase, no decrease".Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva made great progress, and enlightened Shariputra step by step, "Therefore, there is no color in the air, no thoughts, thoughts, and consciousness." If you cultivate with such an empty body and mind, there will be no obstacles. You say your leg hurts, so let’s see if the thought of leg pain hurts?Don't look at the legs. The one who knows the pain is actually not in pain, nothing at all! "No eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind", without eyes, how do you still have eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind, etc. when you meditate? "Colorless sound, fragrance and touch", since there are no six roots, how can there be six dusts? The six roots and six dusts are completely empty, completely gone.It doesn't matter if there is, because "all dharmas are empty and empty", there is also nothing! We become monks to learn Buddhism and chant scriptures every day. What scriptures do we chant? !When meditating, it is not the eyes, but the ears, which are always firmly grasped; oh, my eyes are uncomfortable, and my ears are sad.Screw you!Why don't you understand the Heart Sutra well? "No eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind, no color, sound, fragrance, and touch", all of them are empty at once, without any muddling.I don't pay any attention to such lively things as white bones, bright points, and energy veins, and the six senses and six dusts are directly emptied.

It doesn't count if the six roots and six dusts are empty. The scriptures also say: "There is no realm of vision, even the realm of unconsciousness."There is no vision world, no ear world, one world after another counting to the unconscious world, the eighteen worlds are all empty; the Four Noble Truths are also empty, there is no suffering, no origin, no extinction, and no Tao.From ignorance to action, action to form, the twelve causal conditions that are inherited in one continuous line are all empty. Therefore, "There is no ignorance, and there is no end to ignorance. There is no old age and death, and there is no end to old age and death." You say that if I empty ignorance, it will be over, right? ---wrong.If you think that you have nothing to worry about, you will forget about it, but you are in a daze.In fact, ignorance is not endless and nothing great!Even "life and death", the last of the twelve karmic conditions, also has no liberation or no liberation. Why do you have to live and die? What are you doing?Life and death are empty, what's so scary! So it is said that "even without old age and death, there is no old age and death".Where has the person gone after life and death? --Still in life and death!Pay attention!Everyone pay attention, don't get the wrong meaning and ask for trouble.Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is like this, and he elaborates on the method of Prajna Aspect of the Heart, all of which are for the purpose of letting all living beings truly let go, truly liberated, and truly at ease.He started with the Four Noble Truths and now he comes down to it. "If there is no suffering, there will be no attainment without wisdom." The afflictions of birth, old age, sickness, and death are all gone, so what kind of medicine is needed to treat it with wisdom or not? What are the gains and losses? "No wisdom and no gain", what do you gain?Got it?If there is a way to get it, then it is wrong. There is no income at all, why bother to make a fuss, worry about gain and loss, and worry about it! "Because you have nothing to gain, Bodhisattva is a god. According to Prajna Paramita, there is no hindrance in your heart." When you practice to this point, you have no wisdom and no gain. Here it is.But still not completely liberated, not fully clear mind and see nature. However, the wisdom of Prajna has already entered the room, so "the heart has nothing to worry about".Whether you are resting, working, staying at home, or becoming a monk, all thoughts and dharmas are not hindered by each other. Then, "There is no hindrance, no terror, stay away from upside-down dreams, and finally Nirvana." At this time, there is no fear in any state, no fear of life and death, and no fear of reincarnation. It is precisely because of the great wisdom of self-nature prajna that we can go to the next level, without any upside-down dreams, and finally Nirvana and Buddhahood. The realm of a Mahayana Bodhisattva is not without dreams. It is the dream of Mahayana practitioners to save all living beings and realize sentient beings. In the gatha of the Shurangama Mantra you recite in morning and evening classes, there are two sentences: "Get rid of my upside-down thoughts for a hundred million kalpas" and "Xi Geng examines and eliminates subtle delusions". It is really difficult to eliminate that subtle deluded karma. From decades of experience, I have seen the older generation and the younger generation, and many of them have gone astray without knowing it, and few have completed their meritorious deeds. This karmic confusion, which is extremely subtle and difficult to detect, becomes more elusive the more one cultivates to the end.As a result, I couldn't figure it out, I doubted everywhere, I searched here and there, but there was no resolution.

Therefore, even the slightest, some illusory and misleading karma must be completely eradicated according to Prajna Paramita. The prajna of "Empty and Existing, Neither Empty nor Existing" appears in front of you, and only then is the great success accomplished, the ultimate Nirvana. At this time, it is truly enlightened, not contemplative, nor illuminating, but liberated by seeing one’s nature, able to obliterate both, great perfection, and great freedom. In the front of the scriptures, from the view of self-control to seeing that the five aggregates are all empty, it belongs to the method of action, that is, the "exhaustion" method mentioned in the Vimalakirti Sutra; For many reasons, the section from "No Obstacles to Mind" to "Ultimate Nirvana" belongs to the method of inaction, which is the "endless" method mentioned in the Vimalakirti Sutra. Then, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva solemnly told Shariko, "The Buddhas of the third age, according to Prajna Paramita, can obtain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi." The Buddhas of the third age, the past Buddha, the present Buddha, and the future Buddha, If one really wants to be able to achieve great enlightenment and achieve the perfect fruit position of correct enlightenment, one must be liberated by relying on the wisdom of self-nature prajna. You are confused and think that you can become a Buddha by reciting a mantra, then "I know that Prajna Paramita is a great god mantra, a great Ming mantra, an unsurpassed mantra, and an inexhaustible mantra, which can eliminate all suffering, and is true and true." .Prajna Paramita is the truly incredible mantra that allows all beings to realize the treasure of self-nature light. There is no other mantra that surpasses it, and there is no one who can match it.All the mantras, once they touch Prajna Paramita, what else can they sing? Why don't you read it?But it’s not enough to just recite it with your mouth, you have to observe it with your mind’s eyes and really prove it, otherwise you won’t be able to exert its effect to the point of ultimate inspiration.Prajna Paramita can really get rid of your inexplicable superstitions, and can really eliminate all the afflictions and pains of the Three Realms. It is not just a joke.At this point in the Heart Sutra, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva knows that everyone likes mystery, likes to make a mantra, and chant words, so in order to fulfill the wishes of all living beings, he simply passed on this supreme mantra of Prajna Paramita: "So say Prajna Paramita Many curses, that is to say, the curse says, Jiedi Jiedi, Polo Jiedi, Parasangha Jiedi, Bodhi Savaha." You are now reciting together, using Hokkien or Cantonese to get closer to the original pronunciation. As for the meaning of this mantra? "Uncover the truth and uncover the truth, Boluo reveals the truth", save yourself, and quickly; The Bodhisattva taught you this Dharma to ask you to take responsibility for yourself and stop deceiving yourself and others.People value self-reliance, self-help and God help.Only self-control is the righteous law. It's not the way to beg for this and that from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.Everyone lives and dies, and their own karma will disappear on their own.To the end of any practice, one must rely on Prajna Paramita in order to realize the Tathagata's great light storehouse of self-nature.Stop messing around and being cowardly, and be a man of indomitable spirit! "Bodhi", enlightenment!Sober up! "Savaha", wake up quickly, don't dream, don't be in a daze. You see, how free and easy the practice of Prajna is, how straightforward it is.Therefore, this year's winter vacation meditation, I want everyone to temporarily put aside all kinds of practices such as secret law and pure land.Don't put on a pose, put on a pose, and be suspicious. Then you say that learning Zen is a little similar, understand?During the 26 o'clock of the day and night, if you continue to contemplate like this, it will be logical, and the water will come naturally, and you will enter the heart center of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.Get down.In front of the seat, I bow three times to the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. With a heart of nothing to seek, single-minded, devout and respectful; only by respecting the Buddha and the Sangha can one benefit oneself.Well, rest.
