According to the above, "sitting quietly" and "qi" seem to have nothing to do with each other. This is not the case. In Chinese culture, "sitting still" is just a general term, such as "Chan Ding", "Zhiguan", "Thinking and Repairing" in Buddhism, as well as "Yoga", "Hypnotism", and even Taoism. The "fetal breath", "concentration", etc., all the postures and functions of perturbing and returning to tranquility are all called "sitting".We have mentioned above that no matter what method is used to practice "sitting meditation", it always depends on the function of our body and mind. The so-called differences in methods are just the differences in the feelings of mental fabrication and consciousness. As for the functions of this body, they are all the same. For example, a pine tree can be artificially cultivated into various forms, but its own life tissue, which begins to sprout from seeds, gradually grows up and becomes dry, and gradually branches and leaves are not different.

Therefore, as long as one is willing to work hard to practice "sitting still", after a certain period of time, the physiological "qi mechanism" will naturally change. However, the phenomenon of this change varies from person to person, with different phenomena and procedures, such as differences in age, gender, physical strength, and disease. Then there are many similarities and differences, which lead to different feelings of each person, and thus produce many different psychological imaginations. In the end, it is still inseparable from the role of "preserving imagination". There are many terms such as eight meridians, big circus, small circus, Kanli, lead and mercury, dragon and tiger, yin and yang, etc., which have the illusion of imagination, so when the "air mechanism" is activated, it will naturally be in line with these concepts, Cooperating becomes a novel feeling and creates various realms.

No matter which method of meditation to start with, it is inseparable from the mutual relationship between body (physiology) and heart (psychology). Moreover, in the process of meditation, no matter whether you pay attention to the function of qi activity or ignore the function of qi activity, the change of qi channel must follow the Arouse feelings according to a fixed law. The general principle of this principle has been explained in the past continuous descriptions, and now we will explain it in more detail from the situation of the change of the Qi channel caused by the Qi movement during meditation. Of course, the Meditation includes the contents and effects of Buddhism, Taoism, and various other methods, not just a certain method of meditation.
