And Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have completed their life-long promotion of the Dharma. If they want to enter Nirvana, I will also go to get close, and ask him to continue to live or ride Willing to come again.Now that the Buddha has passed Nirvana, if you get close to it, you can visualize yourself prostrating and making offerings at any time in the artistic conception.

I have repeatedly mentioned the importance of reciting in accordance with the Dharma. At the same time, I have also pointed out the practice of Samantabhadra’s vows. Every verse must be naturally contemplated. The state described in the verse must be mindful if it is not clear. Only when we arrive.In fact, the visualization of the mind is more important than the chanting of the oral karma, please don't ignore this point.We talk about Samantabhadra's actions and vows, starting from paying homage to the Buddhas, and continuing to follow the Buddha's study and obedience to all living beings. The consciousness should stay in the ocean of actions and vows at any time.The so-called Samantabhadra, as I said, means "universal manifestation". Everything is presented in front of the eyes.Everyone knows that "the heart can turn things, that is, it is the same as the Tathagata", how to turn "turn"? ——Start from the root of mind.When you read "Consciousness-Only Theory" and "Ode to the Rules of the Eight Consciousnesses", don't think that the distinction of the mind is so bad, like a snake or a scorpion.The way to become a Buddha depends on the root of mind!When the consciousness is turned, the first five consciousnesses will follow suit, and the seventh mana consciousness and alaya consciousness will also follow suit. Consciousness is so important.In the "Ode to the Rules of the Eight Consciousnesses" written by Master Xuanzang, who synthesized the principles of only consciousness, he said: "Six turns are called dyeing and purification", which means that the sixth consciousness turns to the dyeing method, that is, an ordinary person, and turns into the pure rule to become a sage.The so-called purity does not mean that you should not be discriminated, but that you should achieve what the "Vimalakirti Sutra" says:

"Kindness can distinguish the appearance of all dharmas, and does not move in the first sense."This sixth consciousness turns into a wonderful observation wisdom, which is transcendental and holy.As for how to transfer the Dharma, the Sixth Patriarch said it well: "Change the name but not the reality".This is the thing, mind, Buddha, and sentient beings are indistinguishable, equally endowed with all the virtues of all dharmas, enlightened with one thought, and become pure and clear. If you desperately want to throw away the sixth consciousness, where do you want to throw it? The "Lotus Sutra" also says: "It is the Dharma that resides in the Dharma seat, and the phases of the world live forever", understand?

Buddhism is fundamentally the study of wisdom. Knowing this, the sixth consciousness is a wonderful treasure. If the consciousness does not turn around, just thinking about it, clinging to the right and wrong in the world, greed, hatred, ignorance, slow doubt, and suspicion, it is over.However, if you really want to be greedy, angry, ignorant and slow to doubt, there is nothing wrong with it!If you are greedy for money, you can keep your mind on it twenty-four hours a day, and you can stop and stop, that's good, can you?A classmate asked me: Why is there a Buddha in Tantric Buddhism?I said: Aren't those who want to become Buddhas slow?the slowest.I want to become a Buddha, "I am the only one in the sky and the world", it is extremely slow.Those who study Buddhism want to save all sentient beings. Knowing that there is no end to saving all sentient beings, but want to "there is no end to the void, and I wish to be endless." This is the Buddha's ignorance.There are many afflictions, like a net in heaven and earth, trying to pull out the sword of wisdom to cut off the kudzu vines, this is the anger of the Buddha.After becoming a Buddha, you are still cultivating merits and virtues, "you can't live in the three existences, and you can't enter Nirvana with compassion." This is Buddha's greed.Esoteric Buddhism often needs Buddha’s arrogance on a certain level. For example, if you have practiced the Zhunti method and want to cure people’s diseases and eliminate disasters, you will not be able to do it well if you don’t have confidence.Once I have confidence, the Buddha mother is here with me. The four bodies of Zhunti Buddha, Vairocana Buddha, the master and me are one. I am the Buddha, and the Buddha is me. If you have such confidence, you will be cured , This is still slow from the Buddha.Buddha's arrogance can generate self-confidence, so the "Huayan Sutra"

Said: "Faith is the source of merit and virtue", and this thought entered it as soon as it turned.Heretics draw amulets and recite mantras, and you must have confidence in yourself to achieve success. Now the United States, the Soviet Union, the mainland, Europe and other places are becoming more and more active in the study of supernatural powers. They have discovered many people with special abilities, and the research in this area on the mainland is even more active.For example, in the experimental carrying method, a physicist couldn't believe it. The button moved to the next room.This kind of Taoism is only a small transfer method.If you have completed the quasi-teaching method, what are supernatural powers? !Thirty years ago, a professor and priest at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States sent a representative to approach me, intending to establish a research institute on supernatural powers, and asked me to host it.If what he said is the right way, to study the mysteries of the human body and mind from the perspective of science and medicine, and contribute to the future of human culture, I am willing to give it a try.

Later, I refused because of other reasons.Supernatural powers are easy!Find a few real boys and girls, or those with good roots, and train for a few months, or even a few weeks or within a week, what a surprise! ?But major events in the world cannot be solved by this method!The problem of personnel still depends on the strength of personnel.If you want to compare supernatural powers, Buddha's supernatural powers are the greatest.Some things depend on their causes and conditions, and the Buddha can save the world with supernatural powers, and some things have other causes and conditions, and you need to take the vows and reincarnation of the six realms to solve them.The supernatural powers of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are inconceivable. His reincarnation, fearless of suffering, and saving sentient beings are even more great and inconceivable.Moreover, the catastrophe of a world and the common karma of a country can only be transformed if everyone corrects their behavior and consciousness together; there is nothing magical can do.

There is also personal karma, Buddhist practitioners must also know how to bear it by themselves, start from their own body, mind, and behavior, and strive to purify it. It is not that they have done wrong things or committed crimes, and they are asking for amnesty from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Everyone is like this, cause and effect where?The power of cause and effect is great, you will do it yourself, and you have to tie the bell to untie it. Bodhisattvas are merciful and merciful, with great supernatural powers, but you also need to be righteous, sincere, and self-cultivating, and the evil karma will naturally turn around without turning around.Then continue to chant:

The purpose of becoming a monk in the round top is to seek the ultimate Bodhi. Strictly speaking, all other methods, kung fu, and even various special realms are mirages in the process of practice. Great practitioners will never be greedy, and it is impossible for them to be confused by it. Only Bodhicitta Those who are not real enough, and whose prajna wisdom is not thorough enough, will make a fuss about the inevitable phenomena of physical and mental changes, be stunned by the realization of layers of consciousness, and finally fail to jump out of the "Surangama Sutra". Ten traps of yin demons. Supernatural powers are not rare, in fact, it is not beyond the laws of nature at all.It's just that ordinary people's knowledge and awareness are limited to a fixed pattern at a certain level, and they don't know the principle of its growth.The evolution of all phenomena in the universe, the coming and going of spring and winter, the wind, rain, thunder and lightning, are all miraculous and supernatural powers, but people are accustomed to them, so it is not surprising.The physiological and psychological functions of human beings are even more wonderful supernatural structures. People who study medicine and psychology should be able to feel this multi-organic structure that includes consciousness, nerves, circulation, breathing, and endocrine. How incredible is the precision machine of the system.When it comes to talking about supernatural powers, these matters should not be ignored. Just insisting that the light and shadow phenomena presented in meditation are supernatural powers and wonderful ways will make people feel regretful that they will neglect the basics and lose the big for small things. For example, when we eat, meat and vegetable soup is poured down, and when it reaches the stomach, large intestine, and small intestine, after some digestion and nutrient absorption, the remaining residue is excreted through the anus and becomes feces, which is disgusting to everyone. , but can grow the flowers and grains of the land to meet the needs of humans and birds and beasts. What is this not supernatural power?Gu Deyun: Carrying firewood and water are all supernatural powers. How many people have truly experienced it? Could it be that the magic of seeing the light and seeing the shadow, shining the light and moving the earth, can surpass the ecological cycle of the natural animals and plants? Well, then you have to invent your heart, and realize the root of the life in the universe so that it can be used in a big way. The real supernatural power is wisdom, and wisdom is the power of supernatural powers. Since everyone is yearning for supernatural powers, why not start from here, wholeheartedly and persistently learn this incomparable power of the greatest wisdom and supernatural powers, and then naturally enter the "Superior Supernatural Power , universal access to the Mahayana power, wisdom and universal cultivation of merit power, wisdom power without attachment and support" and so on. "Speed, speed and supernatural power", the current technological machine, taking the latest generation of supercomputers as an example, no matter how fast its response is, can it compare to the transfer of our thoughts?For example, the speed of the American space shuttle can reach 25 times the speed of sound, which is extremely fast. However, as soon as we think about it, we have already reached the moon, how fast is that!Not even the speed of light, which is about 186,282 miles per second.I mentioned in the book "Zen Ocean" decades ago that the speed of light is not fast, but the speed of thinking is the fastest.why?The speed of light still has a process of traveling, but the speed of thought does not.Like if I say something now? "Kaohsiung", if you think about it, you will arrive at the same time, and it will be done immediately, which is not convenient.There is no gap between them, you can go wherever you want, and go wherever you want.The Buddha often described the rapidity of time as "an instant", "an instant of thought" or "a strong man stretches his arms". In fact, the movement of the mind transcends time and space, has no process, and does not move. You may wish to study carefully in your own thoughts.This is the true supernatural power, this is the "supernatural power of speed, quickness, and pervasiveness", everyone has it, who doesn't?As long as the wisdom is well developed, the ups and downs of these thoughts will eventually be more than just a fantasy in the consciousness of ordinary people. In modern times, some people like to use supernatural powers to see cause and effect. They either cover their eyes, or open two red eyes, and watch for a long time. There are a lot of gods and ghosts.If you want to play supernatural powers, play big ones, follow the example of my master Buddha Sakyamuni, and learn from his example in the twelve classics of the Tripitaka.can you?Quickly initiate the great vows and deeds of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva!This is the largest and most unbelievable "Supernatural Ability Treasure", everyone is excited to come! ? The real supernatural powers are everywhere.The "god" of supernatural powers is the "god" of spirit. Can you maintain your spiritual life to the full and clear?People are sick and have no strength at all.The spirit is broken, and as soon as the spirit does not cheer up, it will turn into a dangerous state-drowsiness!I have no interest in seeing anything, my eyes are blurred, my head is downcast, and I am unconscious, as if I am about to die, and I am gray. This is also a kind of god-yin god.The Yin God is like a sunrise, golden brilliance shines through, light shines everywhere, there is no cloud in the sky, everywhere is wonderful, and the supernatural powers are at ease!An enlightened practitioner has a bright heart and bright day and night. Not only does he not want to sleep, he also cuts off all other wealth, sex, fame and food.For example, in terms of fame and wealth, the ninety-five-year throne of the emperor is worthless in the eyes of a Taoist. If you give him the wealth of the entire earth, he will not look at it. The fetters of external fame and fortune are nourishing, and if you are smarter, you will not even be confused by various meditative wonderlands. All sentient beings have supernatural powers. If Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can do it, you and I can also do it. The problem is that we have not turned the supernatural powers into the function of "force". The ninth "power paramita" in the paramita has achieved considerable success.We ordinary people live a mediocre life, drifting in and out of the world, and lacking in merit and karma. It is because we have not been able to exert ourselves and have the power to make great wishes. To put it more plainly, we have no courage and lack of courage in doing things. .For example, the color shell of the four big fakes is inevitable to suffer from illness. Sometimes you are unlucky to meet and say: "Ge Laozi, what's so great, I will ignore you." How long, alas!Alas!My mother couldn't take it anymore, but in the end it was still amazing.You can't handle it in your strength, can you?But there are some "rough people" who can afford it, like some men who learn martial arts, who are full of blood, and let the knives cut on them in front of the public, and they don't even grunt or frown , although the usefulness of this "force" performance is debatable, it is also quite impressive.Those of us Mahayana who often flaunt "I don't go to hell, whoever goes to hell" may not have such abilities!You said: "If I want to visualize, I will visualize, and if I want to have samadhi, I have to samadhi." Do you really have this power? "Speedy all-around supernatural powers, all-encompassing Mahayana power", the Mahayana Bodhisattva way, dharma door immeasurable vows to learn, with the heart of saving all sentient beings but no sentient beings can be saved, practice all dharma doors, no matter the righteous way or the magic way , all in-depth research and exploration; no matter benefactors and friends, enemies or creditors, they will help wholeheartedly. The word "universal" in "universal entry into Mahayana power" is very important.I often lament that modern Catholicism and Christianity often see their priests dedicating their efforts in the most distressed places. Buddhism is not without it, but it is much worse. There are many people who want to practice cross-legged practice to achieve enlightenment, but few people are willing to enter the sea of ​​suffering for the sake of saving sentient beings. As a result, although they have practiced for a lifetime, it is difficult to complete their merits and virtues.The current downturn in Buddhism can be attributed to the fact that we Buddhists have not been able to "pervasively enter the world" and our merits and virtues are not perfect. In particular, there is a strange phenomenon. Many people are fine if they don’t learn Buddhism. Once you learn Buddhism, you will become nervous and look weird.why?Because I don't understand the true meaning of Buddhism, I am only obsessed with sitting cross-legged, and I will be empty for a while!I have to put it down for a while, and I don't have time to take care of my career.To truly learn Buddhism, as long as the views and methods are correct, there will definitely be a lot of benefits. If learning Buddhism is not going well, in addition to karma or demonic reasons, you must also check whether your own concepts and behaviors are biased.Buddhism is lively and active in the world, and it must be "introduced from all walks of life" and cultivate the power of Mahayana.The power of Mahayana comes from great vows and great actions, which is exactly what Pu Xianxing Vows talk about.In the "Lotus Sutra", Buddha Shakyamuni used ox carts as a metaphor for the Mahayana; deer carts and sheep carts come next, and the medium and the Hinayana. Are these teachings not clear enough?Zen masters often warn us to let go, let go, let go of what? - "I hold" only.If you can’t see the crux of the problem clearly and use it as an excuse to escape from reality, and don’t care about anything, then you can only let yourself deceive yourself, and you can’t blame anyone! At the same time, you should also use the "Diamond Sutra" of "don't stop giving" as the direction of good deeds, and you must pay more attention. He also uses the fear of committing the mistake of abusing compassion as an excuse to whitewash his selfishness.True wisdom cannot grow without the wonderful merit water unearthed from the 84,000 fine practices.You are reciting mantras and contemplating here every day, and realizing Bodhi during your chanting, why don’t you ask yourself, how many good deeds have you done in your 20s, 30s, 40s or 50s? "Intelligent practice and universal cultivation of merit and power, majesty and universal power of great compassion", practice in accordance with the Dharma, and the accumulation of merit and virtue will naturally produce inconceivable power and power.Compassion is like parents loving their children. When a child makes a mistake, the father scolds loudly. The scolding hits the nail on the head, and the scolding is just right, correcting the child's mistake at once.This scolding out of a caring heart is solemn, dignified and majestic, which is a kind of "majestic and overwhelming compassion".In addition, there are also parents who see their children in distress and feel anxious. They rush to rescue regardless of the situation, breaking through the limit of ordinary human ability. This is also a kind of majestic manifestation of great compassion.Compassion is equal to the light and heat of the sun. It is the source of life for practitioners to grow their wisdom roots and Dharma bodies. Only when their minds and bodies correspond to compassion can they truly feel the buds of Bodhi in their bodies and minds, and grow stronger day by day. All kinds of extraordinary powers produced by the practice of Samantabhadra’s vows are followed by "the power of all-pervasive solemnity and blessing, the power of wisdom without attachment and no support". Everyone has worked hard for so long, are you in a pure state of mind?Are your worries gone? Under the awareness of wisdom, do ego and dharma disappear without a trace? "A pure heart is a pure land", the troubles are transformed, the body is naturally comfortable, and the heart is radiant.At least the Dao Fruit has not been achieved, and after so many days of cultivation, it is necessary to reach the pure state of the sixth consciousness of the "all-pervading pure heaven" in the form realm.The consciousness can be pure, the actions are natural and dignified, pure and dignified, and the body and mind are in harmony. This cannot be obtained through the merits and karma of few good roots and merits. It must be achieved through the power of "victorious blessings". Now this passage mainly emphasizes the word "strength".For example, in boxing, no matter how well practiced the postures and moves are, if you have a lot of punches and embroidered legs, if you really meet your opponent and fight, you will be vulnerable and you will be embarrassed in public.The same is true for studying Buddhism and Taoism. Since you keep the precepts, you must exert the power of patience, perseverance, and indomitability; As for the wisdom of prajna, no matter when and where a person is, no matter what kind of situation he is in, whether it is good or bad, the next awareness is clear, not confused by things, not confused by things, and grasped naturally Being able to control oneself is the effective manifestation of wisdom.As long as the power of precepts, concentration and wisdom is cultivated enough, it is the time to realize Taoism and become a Buddha. "Wisdom without attachment and without support", wise people will not be obsessed with anything.And it’s not enough just to be “non-attached”, what’s more, it needs all “non-dependence”, not relying on others, and not needing any convenience, completely independent and perfect.The Buddha said "I am the only one in the sky and the world", and this is why.We learn Buddhism to be the guardians of all living beings, not to rely on all living beings or Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in turn.I often tell young friends who study Buddhism: "People value self-reliance." Unfortunately, most of them think this sentence is common and easy to let go.You know! "People value self-reliance", if you are truly self-reliant, you will become a Buddha. Besides, "Dinghui is convenient, mighty and supernatural, and universally accumulates the power of Bodhi." You have spent so much time studying Buddhism, why can't you get samadhi?Why can't wisdom be revealed? ——I don't understand the convenience.I often say that you do not have enough common sense, lack of knowledge, poor writing skills, and unhealthy physical and mental conditions. I am not making fun of you, but because your body and mind are limited by these restrictions and it is difficult to gain concentration and wisdom. I am really worried about you!After all, the acquisition of wisdom and concentration must be experienced and tempered in all kinds of different things. Everything in the universe is waiting for you to go back to the source, explore it thoroughly, and test it out in this way. Only Dinghui can be called "magnificent power".Of course, the Hinayana method comes from the Han-style three disciplines of precepts, concentration and wisdom, and it is quite rare to be able to practice well, but the Mahayana Bodhisattva path can be achieved in this respect, and it is by no means just retreating to the mountains and forests and working behind closed doors. So in the second half of the year, I continued to talk about "universal energy accumulates Bodhi power", everyone think about it, is it so easy to understand the mind, see the nature, become enlightened and become a Buddha?In order to seek the Bodhi path and fruit, the accumulation of blessings and wisdom should be done without any less!Everyone chanted "Famen Boundless Vow to Learn" every day, how much did you learn?It is also said that "good deeds that have not yet been born are now brought to life, and evil karma that has not been done is now made to be exhausted." How many have been born and how many have been exhausted?If we want to be enlightened, we have to accumulate merits and virtues from generation to generation. It is not difficult to say that it is difficult, and it is not easy to say that it is easy.
