Chapter 18 The second part of Taoist "Book of Changes" and Chinese medicine - 8

When it comes to Chinese culture, one often finds that the ancient and culminating masterpiece is either the Yellow Emperor or Fuxi.In short, they are all in the name of the ancients to show the value of learning. This situation is exactly the opposite of today's society. Many of today's works are the same as ours. Huangdi's "Nei Jing" is actually the painstaking efforts of many people and the collection of research achievements of many people.Although it was entrusted with the name of the Yellow Emperor, its achievements cannot be ignored. Having said that, there are still many doubts and re-evaluations about the medical philosophy issues involved in the "Huangdi Neijing", and it can even be said that there are basically some problems.

have you ever heard spirit talk Spiritual speech is a proper term in our modern education, and I have also engaged in the subject of spiritual speech. In Huangdi's "Internal Classics", the four words "spiritual soul" are also mentioned. What exactly is this spirit?Could it be the spirit that speaks to the spirit? What is essence?what is god What is the soul? What is po? In the "Nei Jing", these nouns are defined otherwise. However, according to the "Nei Jing", we cannot give a specific definition to the spirit, and it is even more difficult to make a clear comment on the soul.

In the "Internal Classics", we can understand: the five internal organs belong to yin, which is the place where the essence, energy and spirit are stored; the six internal organs belong to yang, where the plastid is stored. But what the spirit is is still unknown, so we have to borrow Lao Tzu's words, "in a trance". The metaphysics of ancient Chinese medical theory is idealistic, and belongs to the scope of the unity of man and nature and ontology. The "Nei Jing" focuses on the application of the metaphysical, so it cannot provide a satisfactory explanation for the metaphysical and spiritual issues, and the result becomes "twilight".

If the basic research of metaphysics is developed, medicine can reach a great new level. It is from self-psychological treatment to transcending physiological phenomena. This is the basic and important issue. Wang Xizhi wrote the Three Grades of Shangyao There is an important book in Taoism called "Huang Ting Jing". Wang Xizhi of the Jin Dynasty was a famous calligrapher. He wrote the "Huang Ting Jing" himself, which shows the weight of the "Huang Ting Jing" in people's minds. The "Huang Ting Jing" mentions the three grades of medicine, which are essence, qi, and spirit.

What exactly is spirit? What is essence? What is Qi?What is God again? Is this essence the essence of the spirit? This seems to be getting more and more complicated. It's like the question of qi and blood in the eight meridians is also vague and borrowed from each other. It's only because the vocabulary at that time was too small, so it seems ambiguous. If we use today's complicated vocabulary to describe it reluctantly, then the so-called "spirit, energy and spirit" is like the "light and heat" in people's minds today. Dissecting a dead person reveals that there is no essence, no life, and even more no spirit.Of course, light, heat, and force do not exist.

The so-called Qi is a kind of life energy. The so-called essence is a kind of vitality. The so-called God is a kind of light of life. But please don’t misunderstand, this statement is just a metaphorical explanation, which makes us closer to understanding. yin and yang weirdness According to medical books, the five internal organs belong to yin, but there is a little real yang in the yin, and this yang in the yin is the "heart" and "fire". The six internal organs are yang, and similarly, there is a little real yin in yang, and this yin is "kidney" and "water".

That's why Taoist books say that men are yin, and only a little of it is the qi of the ultimate yang, and women are yang, and there is a little of the essence of the ultimate yin. This is the principle that the first line of the Qian Gua changes from yin to the (female queen) hexagram, and the first line of the Kun hexagram changes from yang to the complex hexagram. Taoism regards Li Guakou as the heart and Kan Guakou as the kidney. The emptiness in Lizhong is full, and the yang in the ridge is used to fill the emptiness in Lizhong to become pure yang. This has been said a lot, yin and yang, yang and yin, and yin within yang, which makes people confused, confused, confused and confused, it is inexplicable to the extreme.

But no matter who is yin and who is yang, as long as you grasp one point, the principle that one yang comes and goes, and understand the healing principles of essence, energy and spirit, it will be enough. Is the kidney a kidney? When you go to see a doctor of Chinese medicine, you will often hear "kidney deficiency"!It is necessary to replenish the "kidney"!Reminds the patient of a pair of kidneys hanging on a pork rack. Stir-fried kidneys are really delicious. This pair of kidneys is exactly what is called kidney in terms of physiology and anatomy. But the "kidney" mentioned by Chinese medicine and Taoism definitely does not just refer to the pair of kidneys.

The "kidney" in Chinese medicine refers to the general term for the accessory kidney, secretory glands, sexual nerves, internal and external dantian and lower functions of the human body. If the "kidney" is compared to the kidney, it is really a mistake. where is the heart Touch the left side of my chest, it's beating, isn't this our beating atrium! A beautiful singer on TV sang: "I only have you in my heart without him..." This is only you without his "heart", is it the "heart" that was beating just now? Of course not, we all know that.

Therefore, the "heart" in Taoism and medicine seems to represent thinking. The so-called "heart" can think in ancient times, which means "thinking" and being able to think. A person's heart hurts when he thinks too much, and his heart hurts when he is moved. This is not really a pain in the "heart", but a place on the upper part of the stomach, the position of the "Ren Vessel". The mind also affects the heart. do you often suffer from insomnia If a person thinks too much, he will get angry. If a person uses his brain too much, his stomach will go wrong.

Thoughts affect the heart, and the heart belongs to fire, so it gets angry. The stomach is earth, too much fire, the backup will not continue, and the earth will be consumed, so the stomach will go wrong. This is also the principle recognized by Western medicine. Too much fatigue, kidney deficiency, resulting in the condition of heart and kidney failure, that is, the activity capacity of the heart and kidneys are failing, and they cannot communicate with each other, and the phenomenon of interruption occurs, this is the failure of the heart and kidney. When you are older, worry more, and have poor physical strength, you will easily become a state of heart and kidney failure, and you will suffer from insomnia if your heart and kidneys are not working together. Seeing those young people, they don't worry about tomorrow's affairs, their physical strength is extremely abundant, their hearts and kidneys are always in good shape, so of course they fall asleep. Young people are sentimental, of course it will also cause heart and kidney failure. The heart and kidney are not in line, and it needs to be solved with Kanshui, so as to achieve the state of both water and fire. So what is Kanshui? If you can put your mind and spirit in an absolutely quiet and stable state, it means the occurrence of Kanshui, which is the theory of Taoism. the mysterious diencephalon Although the Ren and Du two channels mentioned a few times ago are invisible energy channels, they still have their own paths. The Governor Vessel starts from Zi on the Ziwu Maoyou map, which is also the lower seabed of the human body, passes through the back to the diencephalon, and then to the upper mouth. The Ren Vessel begins to descend from the tip of the tongue, passes through the chest and abdomen to the lower part, and meets the Du Vessel. From this point of view, the Du channel is equivalent to the spinal nerve system, while the Ren channel is the autonomic nervous system.Ren Du's second meridian is not the same as the twelve meridians. The diencephalon, which is connected to the governor channel, is highly praised by many mystical schools, and it is believed that the maintenance of human youth is purely the function of the diencephalon. Some schools of thought also say: the diencephalon is related to the supernatural powers of human beings. If the air channels of the diencephalon are opened, one can hear what humans cannot hear and see what humans cannot see. In short, the diencephalon is the place reached when passing through the Du channel, and the Qi channel can affect its function. when looking for your job The so-called acquired life of Taoism starts from the "child" time. When one understands the principle of energy and spirit, and can flexibly use one's life, there is absolutely no problem in controlling one's own health. This is almost absolutely guaranteed. Do you think that once you know the job, you can easily hold it? If you really think so, you would be too rash, because it is extremely difficult to master the work. The basic difficulty is that it is difficult for us to control our thoughts. When we mentioned Kanshui earlier, we mentioned calming the mind, but the mind is the most difficult thing to calm down. Work hard! The Taoist kung fu of "practicing essence to transform qi, practicing qi to transform spirit, and practicing spirit to return emptiness" is said to take twelve or three years to complete, but in fact no one has completed it in twenty years. The basic reason is that our minds are distracted. Can't calm down. 'It's really not easy to grasp the job.Let's talk about when we will talk first, and let us talk about it when we all find our own jobs. If it is a young child, it is easy to see, as we have mentioned before, that when his genitals swell, it is exposed during life.At that time, if his brain waves were tested, there would definitely be different changes. If you are a young person, you must develop towards heterosexual love when you are a child. These are easy to know.At that time, if you don't grasp the life force when you are alive, to vibrate Ren Du's qi channel to rise, the life force will transfer to the twelve meridians and become acquired desire. But an old man, who has no sexual urges, has no time to live? As long as there is breath left, everyone has their own work, and when an old man seems to be about to open his eyes at the moment when he is about to wake up, that is his work. At this time, don't open your eyes, and continue to maintain that hazy and trance state, as if you have stewed a pot of braised pork, and if you simmer for a while, the meat flavor will be stronger. This is the way to grasp the life of the elderly, old friends, hurry up and try it! afternoon tea When we are terribly tired, our Qi channels are obstructed, dizzy and drowsy, it is best to drink afternoon tea (not afternoon tea made in Chinese medicine stores). When a person arrives at "noon" time, he is exactly the other party at "zi" time, and is in the opposite state from "zi" time. This is also the time when the summer solstice is a yin birth, and life has come to decline. At this time, you must pay attention to warming up, and don't force yourself to hold on for another five minutes. Maybe in less than five minutes, the full string will break. The so-called nurturing means to maintain.Ziwu warms and nourishes, Maobai takes a bath. The so-called fasting heart means bathing, which is to cleanse the state of mind and the distracting thoughts in the heart. People over middle age have already reached the "noon" hour, so they should quickly start practicing from "noon" and return to "zi" hour first. From the perspective of abstract theory, it is equivalent to starting from the metaphysics and cultivating to the metaphysics, unlike young people who start from the metaphysics and cultivate to the metaphysics. The Five Evils and Health Preservation of the Elderly How do the elderly regain their vitality? It is said that there are five opposite situations between the elderly and ordinary people: (1) Couldn't fall asleep on the bed, but fell asleep while sitting on the chair. (2) There are no tears when we cry, but tears come out when we laugh. (3) He couldn't hear him when he spoke loudly, but he heard him when he scolded him softly. (4) The older things are, the more clearly I can remember them, but I can't remember what happened yesterday. (5) The ability to perform sexual acts is gone, but the desire for love is high instead. Do not think that there is no hope of regaining vitality when a person reaches old age. This is absolutely untrue. The elderly can start from the attention part of the brain. If the pituitary gland does not shrink and the endocrine can still function as usual, there is still great hope for the efforts to start the work from meditation. Speaking of meditation, it reminds us of a famous painting, which shows an old monk meditating. The old monk who was meditating, with his head hooked and his back hunched, was in a state of blissful sitting and sleeping, which was really very artistic. But if you really meditate, it will be miserable if you make it like this. The correct posture in meditation is upright and naturally relaxed. Even our usual sitting posture must be upright so that the midbrain can rest. How to learn the Eight and Twelve Meridians of Extraordinary Meridians It is really difficult to answer this question.People who study Qimai cannot do without looking at pictures and books. But can the book be understood? It's not easy. How did the great physicians in ancient times learn to master it? It turned out that they first sought evidence from the Taoist knowledge, all of them were people who understood the Tao, and then used themselves as the subjects of the experiment. After a period of exploration and demonstration, they were able to grasp the medical skills. When it comes to the experiments of ancient Taoism, it is lacking for women. All Taoist and medical books are aimed at men. This is also a shortcoming of a male-centered society. For this reason, when we explore these knowledge, we must pay special attention to women's issues. Women start from the Ren channel, unlike men from the Du channel. The female Qi channel runs from the Ren channel to the head. People who learn to understand Qimai can feel the circulation of their own Qimai during the learning and experience process. If they have not slept for several days, they will feel dizzy and unable to support themselves. , and then guided to the lower limbs, the swelling disappeared immediately. Or use the method of visualization, imagining that the Qi channels are reversed and retrograde, and after twenty-four or thirty-six circles, people can also calm down. You can't learn the sword, just look at the flowers I talked a lot about Taoism and medicine, which reminded me of an incident in my youth. At that time, we saw many stories about swordsmen and knights, and we wanted to learn swords. Later, I heard that there was a Taoist in Chenghuang Mountain, West Lake, Hangzhou, who was a sword fairy, so I was very determined to seek Taoism and learn swordsmanship. After many visits, I finally met this immortal elder. But he didn't admit that there is Taoism, let alone that he is a sword fairy. After a long conversation, he said to me: If you want to learn swordsmanship, you should go home and practice wrist chopping for a hundred days. In the middle, light a piece of incense, split the incense into two pieces with the strength of your wrist with a sword in your hand, the head of the incense will not go out, and then... Hearing what he said, I thought that I would not be able to learn the sword for a lifetime, and as for the sword fairy, I would not be able to become a sword fairy, so I had to give up and not learn. The Taoist asked if he would look at flowers, of course he would, isn't that a superfluous question? "Otherwise," the Taoist said, "ordinary people look at flowers and concentrate on them, pouring all their energy and energy into them. Qishen, absorbed into myself." Absorbing the vitality of all the plants and flowers, through training the mind to become Qi, and returning to the original essence, this is the method of Taoist practice with sincerity and sincerity. Friends, learn to see flowers quickly!
