Chapter 12 The second part of Taoist "Book of Changes" and Chinese medical theory-2

Last time we have talked about Fuxi's innate gossip map, now we will introduce King Wen's acquired gossip map. Due to time constraints, we can only give a brief introduction to the aspect. Please pay attention to and keep in mind the "number" of the Houtian hexagram, because it is closely related to acupuncture and moxibustion. We read Houtian Gua and found that its "image" and "number" are different from Xiantian Gua. When a number is added to the opposite number, it becomes ten, that is, when combined with the opposite number, it becomes ten. This reminds us that if the magical meaning of the Buddhist Heshi is applied to medical theory, it seems to indicate that maintaining balance is important, and maintaining balance is the only way to be healthy.

Chinese teaching methods often compile dry and hard-to-remember theories into rhyming poems for easy recitation. The way of reciting Houtian Gua is: One counts Kanxi, two counts Kun, three shocks and four hope counts in the middle Five sent to middle officials, six cadres, seven exchanges, eight gens, and nine departures The Body and Function of "Yi" It seems to be too difficult to understand. After reading many easy-to-learn books, we are getting more and more confused. Now we only need to pay attention to the two gossips of innate and acquired, and then we can understand them in an outline.

What the innate gossip talks about is the physical law when the universe has not formed a material world. Houtian gossip talks about the physical laws of the solar system after the formation of the material world. Innate is talking about the body. What the day after tomorrow talks about is to use. The function of "Yi" was only developed after the Han, Wei, and Southern and Northern Dynasties. In Taoist philosophy, the cathode generates yang, and the anode generates yin, which is also the principle of mutual use. After understanding the functions, we will naturally understand that many different gossips in geomancy and numerology are nothing more than moving the "image" of the Xiantian hexagram to the "number" of the Houtian hexagram, forming another gossip, or Move the "number" of the Xiantian hexagram to the "image" of the Houtian hexagram, and it is another gossip. They have their reasons for such moving and applying, but because the principles have not been clarified, this knowledge has become more mysterious and difficult to understand.

Sanjia Village and Laizhide Confucius said "playing around and getting something", referring to the method of research. When researching, one must repeatedly play with the hexagrams to gain insights. Some people study for a lifetime, but they may not necessarily reach the highest level. This is an extremely interesting and all-encompassing knowledge.I advise everyone not to study it at night, because if you are not careful, you will find that the East is white. Why are there so many easy-to-learn books, yet so difficult to understand? It turned out to be related to the scholars in Sanjia Village.

These scholars in Sanjia Village have spent their whole lives studying Yi Xue in an ancient environment, which is really admirable, but it is a pity that they are ignorant and ignorant. In the Ming Dynasty, a well-known Yixue master came to Zhide, and lived in seclusion for twenty years, specializing in Yixue. It is true that "Laiyi" is very famous. He does have valuable insights and developments. However, he wasted a lot of time because he did not read through the book on "Yi" written by the sages. These are admirable. What's more, it's also enough to serve as a mirror for our study of learning.

Use of Houtian Gua "The emperor came out of the earthquake, Qi was about Ji, meeting was about leaving, serving was about Kun, speaking was about fighting, fighting was about doing, working hard Almost Kan, into words almost Gen. " This is in "Shuo Gua Zhuan", according to which Han Yi explained the laws of the physical world with the order of images and numbers. It is said that it was written by Confucius. This order law is of course expressed by the Houtian Gua. drawn according to this rule. These few words of Confucius can be simply explained as follows: The sun rises in the east, the earthquake is east, it is spring, the beginning of a year, the beginning of a day (the emperor came out of the earthquake).

Soon it showed its ability to affect all things, all things grow, dung is in the southeast, between spring and summer, in the morning (Qihu Sunda), and when it reaches the center, it will shine and rule. Li is the south, the sun is in the middle, and it is summer, and all things are fully developed (meeting each other). When the sun is westward, or at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the vigorous phenomenon of nature has been harvested, and Kun is the land (to serve almost Kun). At sunset, it is mid-autumn weather in a year. At this time, the Dui hexagram is already a yin, and everything begins to enter the realm of yin (speaking of Hudui).

At night, it is also the time of late autumn, when the Qian hexagram of yang energy enters the yin realm, and there will be a phenomenon of war between yin and yang (war almost dry). In the middle of the night, at the time of Meng Dong, all things return, and in the realm of extreme yin, there is one yang in it. This is a new turning point, and the hurdle is full (Lao Hukan). As the night goes to the end of winter, everything in the universe begins to germinate secretly, and new yang energy rises again (idiom). If we use this law to explain the things and things in the universal world, there is nothing that does not conform to this law. Therefore, it is absolutely accurate and scientific to deduce the big and small things in the world according to Yi Gua. reasonable.

The Three Points of "Yi" There are three basic takeaways: 1. Change: The things in the universe explained in "Yi" must change, that is to say, everything in the world is not constant. But this change is a gradual change rather than a sudden change. "Yi" denies sudden change, because all sudden changes, in fact, internal changes have been going on for a long time. 2. Difficulty: In all things that must change, there is an absolutely unchangeable noumenon, which is the metaphysical truth. Western religions call it God, Buddhism calls it Buddha, and Laozi calls it Tao without a name. , and some people call it "a mass of darkness".Regardless of its name, what it represents is the unchanging essence.

3. Simplicity: "Yi" is an inductive method, which summarizes the phenomena and human affairs in the universe into extremely simple and inevitable principles, which is called simplicity. Sixty-four hexagrams and six lines In the Xiantian Fuxi gossip, the three lines form one hexagram, but in the later evolution, the two hexagrams are added together, and the six lines form one hexagram. Among the six lines, the lower three line hexagrams are inner hexagrams, also known as lower hexagrams, and the upper three line hexagrams are outer hexagrams, also known as upper hexagrams. Six is a strange number. Yi Xue believes that the sixth is the highest. It is said that in terms of the number of digits in natural sciences, six is also considered the apex.

The three-line hexagrams seen on the eight-diagram map are in eight directions. Now they are combined into two three-line hexagrams and one six-line hexagram. As a result, each hexagram (three-line) has eight (six-line) hexagrams. In this way, the total number of eight hexagrams is sixty-four hexagrams. Now let's take a look at Qian Gua and its changes: Dry mouth is the sky. According to the principle of "changeable" in "Yi", Tianfeng (female queen) changes from the bottom of the interior, as if there is a strong wind in the universe, and then becomes (female queen). In the Tianshan Mountains, the two yin arise, and the mixed yang energy begins to withdraw and hide, that is, it becomes. If heaven and earth are not, after the formation of heaven and earth, there will be many things in the world. If it is true or not, if there is heaven and earth, there will be people. There will be no peace from then on. It can also be called the humor of "Yi", and the next one becomes: Looking at it from the inside out, it is quite impressive, and it can also be called the principle of maintaining profit and maintaining prosperity, and it becomes again: If you don't take care of it, it will be stripped. It's like a human body. If you don't take care of it, it will be stripped. This is the seventh change, which is the reverse of the first line of the outer hexagram. It is called the Wandering Soul Hexagram, which means that although a person is not dead, his spirit wanders among the ruins and goes sightseeing in the cemetery. This is the eighth change. The inner hexagram is restored as a whole, which is called the restoration hexagram, also known as the return to the soul hexagram. However, although this return to the soul symbolizes the continuation of life, it is not the restoration of one's own life, but the restoration of one's own life. It is the continuation of descendants. Therefore, nothing in the world can be absolutely restored. The so-called restoration is just a kind of change, which is similar to the previous form. The above mentioned is the Qian Gua itself and its changes. There are eight hexagrams in total. The other Kan Gua, Gen Gua, Zhen Gua, Xun Gua, Li Gua, Kun Gua, and Dui Gua also change individually, and the rules are the same. , a total of sixty-four hexagrams, and I will not explain them one by one here. You can refer to any book for reference. intricate changes Could it be that the sixty-four hexagrams clearly explain all the changes in the world? No!Things are still very complicated! Let's still take the Qian hexagram as an example, its first change is the (female queen) hexagram. Instant wind (female queen). Comprehensive: If the picture of the (female empress) hexagram is reversed 180 degrees, it becomes: Zhai Zetianfu, this is the opposite hexagram (female empress) hexagram, also known as the comprehensive hexagram. Wrong: If the five yangs and one yin in the hexagram (female empress) are changed to five yins and one yang, it becomes: This is the opposite hexagram of the (female empress) hexagram. When a person is sick, he is called Po Gua, and the opposite of Po Gua is Fu Gua. Doesn't Fu Gua mean that the sick body returns to health? Among the sixty-four hexagrams, there are eight hexagrams without comprehensive hexagrams. These eight hexagrams are: Qian, Kun, Kan, Li, Daguo, Xiaoguo, Yi, and Zhongfu. Qian, Kun, Kan, and Li in the gossip are the cosmic phenomena of heaven, earth, sun, and moon. From any angle, the sky is definitely the sky, the earth is definitely the earth, and the sun and the moon are still the sun and the moon. The last four hexagrams, Daguo, Xiaoguo, Yi, and Zhongfu, belong to personnel affairs, but they have their invariable nature, so there is no comprehensive hexagram. The wrong hexagrams and comprehensive hexagrams we have seen belong to external changes. Now let's take a look at the inner complex changes of things! The upper line is the lower line, and the lower line is the upper line. This meaning can also be seen from the image of the font. Taking the (female empress) hexagram as an example, the upper, lower and outer lines remain the same, as long as the inner four lines form each other. Interaction as shown in the figure: Yaokou———————————————→ The complex lines of the hexagrams are the Qian hexagrams, which are so intricate that they seem to be exactly the same as the things and people in the world. Dialectics and Calculus After analyzing the formation and evolution of gossip, and then studying its intricate hexagrams, it is clear that observing personnel and affairs from the standpoint of gossip is all-encompassing, thorough, reasonable and objective. If you look at things from only one point of view, mistakes are absolutely inevitable. The basic spirit of Confucius' way of loyalty and forgiveness also means that due to different viewpoints, everything should be considered from the standpoint of others. The most interesting thing is that someone discovered this kind of truth about things, and said with a dumbfounded smile: This is like Western dialectics! Hearing this kind of opinion not only reminded me of a story: There was a man who knew a child, and one day he suddenly met the child's grandfather, so he laughed dumbfounded and said, "Look how much this old grandfather looks like this child." child! This is really interesting. It has a history of 5,000 years, and dialectics is only a product of the eighteenth century. I wonder if it is a fault of our culture, or is it that some of us Chinese walk upside down? Don't come here to lament us, the descendants of Fuxi and Huangdi!Look at the inventor of calculus in the West! He studied it and got a lot of inspiration from the law of "number".There is a square diagram and a circle diagram in the sixty-four hexagrams, but he made a mistake in the square diagram. Although he invented calculus, he regretted that he was not a Chinese, and he did not thoroughly understand Yi Xue.Otherwise, the achievement could have been much more. In fact, I am lucky for him, fortunately this gentleman is not Chinese, because if he is Chinese, if he understands it, he will never invent calculus. Because people who study only pay attention to the "reason" part, and don't pay attention to the "number", what a pity! Square Diagram and Climate First look at the square diagram of the Eight Diagrams (see the next page), from the Qian Gua on the lower right, a slash to the Kun Gua on the upper left corner, there are a total of eight Gua, namely Qian, Dui, Huo, Lei, Feng, Shui in the Bagua. , Gen, Kun. And their numbers are one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. From this square diagram, we can see the "number" of each hexagram in the sixty-four hexagrams. The square diagram represents space, and the circle diagram represents time. So how are the circle diagrams arranged? Starting from the Kun hexagram, starting from the top row of the square diagram, connect the leftmost Qian hexagram in the second row to the rightmost Xiang hexagram in the first row, and continue in this way to form a circular diagram. In the center of the circle, draw a line from Qian Gua to Kun Gua, which seems to be the position of the Milky Way, and this circle represents time, the 24 solar terms and twelve months in a year, all of which are And produced. In the circle diagram, remove Qiankun and Kanli, which represent heaven, earth, sun and moon, and are not used for solar terms, leaving sixty hexagrams. Each hexagram represents six days, a total of three hundred and sixty days, which is a year. Five days are another period, three periods are one breath, and six periods are one festival. So there are twelve months in a year, twenty-four solar terms, and seventy-two periods. This is based on the inevitable laws of the solar system, using hexagrams to explain the changes in the climate, and predicting the weather from this!Meteorological changes deeply affect everything about human beings, and medical science has the closest relationship with meteorology. Basic Books of Chinese Medicine and Others Please pay attention, you can find that after the earthquake today, our spirits are particularly good. This is the impact of weather changes, and it also shows the relationship between weather changes and medical science.Of course, sometimes after an earthquake, the influence of the weather makes our spirits particularly bad. Now, let us talk about three books first, in order to understand the history of the development of Chinese medicine, in fact, these three books are the history of the development of Chinese medicine. 1. "Internal Classics": Including "The Coffin" and "Plain Questions", it is the original medical science, of which acupuncture is the most important. However, "Nei Jing" is not only a book of medical theory, but also a study of self-cultivation; speaking, it should be listed as a must-read book with the same emphasis as "Four Books", but it was confined to the scope of medicine. There is less than correct. 2. "Nanjing": This is a book about the flow of energy, and it focuses on the knowledge of Qi channels, just like the theory of Qi in the field of geomancy. In addition to looking at the head and talking about the situation, you must also pay attention to the flow of energy. 3. "Treatise on Febrile Diseases": This is a book of practical medicine. According to my opinion, it should be regarded as a book of southern medicine, because only the south has many cold diseases. Therefore, whether it is medical theory or practical medicine, the relationship between man and the universe, as well as the relationship between weather and man must be taken into account. If this "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" is applied to the Northwest Region, some medical methods will have problems. So what should be done to treat the diseases of northerners? There are many febrile diseases in the north, so it is more appropriate to pay attention to the "Debate on Febrile Diseases}). In the Tang Dynasty, Sun Simiao's medicine was purely Taoist medicine. His two books "Qian Jin Fang" and "Qian Jin Yi Fang" should also be included in the must-reads of Chinese people, which involve the design of gardens and the planting of medicinal herbs. , are all related to health and medicine. It melts medicine into daily life, which is really a wonderful work. cute witch doctor Traditional Chinese Medicine originated from Zhu Youke, which includes the application of spells. When hearing the word spell, most people will inevitably think of gods, ghosts, and superstitious witch doctors. In fact, the application of spells is indeed the work of witch doctors. Not only are witch doctors not terrible, they are also the ancestors of spiritual healing! In the era of the ancient clan society, all doctors were surnamed Wu, which was the surname of a clan. The Wu family produced good doctors, and witch doctor was a respectful title. Wu's famous doctor treats patients with spells, which is an authentic spiritual treatment. Drawing amulets and chanting mantras is to use the patient's confidence in the doctor and the patient's own confidence to achieve the purpose of curing the disease. Isn't the witch doctor amazing and cute?Where are they the scary witches in Western cartoons? Chinese medicine, after Zhu Youke, emphasizes: one Bianstone, two acupuncture, three moxibustion, and four decoctions. When the medicine is taken, it is the fourth step of medicine. Taoist Theory of Life Speaking of Taoist medicine, how did Taoist medical theory evolve?Let's look at the Taoist life change map first! Qian Gua is yang energy, which is the beginning of life. The inner hexagram of Qian Gua is the pregnancy period, and the outer hexagram represents the period from birth to sixteen years old (female fourteen years old). From this table, we can see that after the age of sixteen for men and fourteen for women, they enter the acquired life. According to the "Neijing", women will start their acquired life at the age of fourteen when they reach Guizhi on the twenty-seventh day. After that, at the age of 17 for men and 15 for women, they will enter the hexagram (female empress). . At the end of the stripping hexagram, the male is fifty-six years old and the female is forty-nine years old. Although the men and women are alive at that time, they are already in the state of wandering souls. According to the current Western physiology, it is menopause. According to the theory of Taoism, life is the last. The sun is on the verge of dying. For example, when the sun is not exhausted, it can also be said that there are still stars left in the fire in the furnace, and try to practice quickly, and there may be a turning point. Please see another picture of Taoism, the sublimation of Taoism! The practice of Taoism is based on the principles of the natural laws of the universe, combined with medicine. In the "Nei Jing" and "Huang Ting Nei Jing Jing", there are three grades of the above medicines, which are the spirit, energy and spirit. It is to use one's own power to change one's body, and once the yang comes back, the anger will be there. Continue to work hard to become two yang and four yin, and then progress to three yang and three yin, and finally reach the Qian Gua, restore the body of pure yang, and become the original youthful state. If you have reached the age of Kun Gua, isn't everything over?Absolutely not, but we do have to redouble our efforts in order to restore the "one sun comes back" situation. ridiculous There is a saying in the Taoist theory of self-cultivation: take the hurdles and fill them out. Kanzhong is full and Lizhong is empty. The middle of the Kan hexagram is a yang line, and the middle of the Li hexagram is a yin line. If the Yin line in the middle of the Li Gua is changed to the Yang line in the middle of the Kan Gua, then the Li Gua becomes three lines that are all Yang. The purpose of cultivating the Tao is to reverse the original and return to the original hexagram, so the saying of taking the hurdles and filling them out has been formed. Unexpectedly, some half-knowledgeable people regard hurdles as yin and separation as yang, so they take the ridges and fill them up, interpreting them as collecting yin and supplementing yang. From the hexagrams and the Taoist theory of life based on the "Yi", it is not difficult to understand the principle of taking the hurdles and filling them out. It is just a theorem of a theory, not a method of cultivation. The absurdity of the theory of harvesting yin and supplementing yang can be seen. Master Shao Kang Festival When it comes to "Yi" and Tao, we must talk about Shao Kangjie, a famous master in the Song Dynasty. Shaokang Festival masters astronomy at the top, geography at the bottom, and intensively studies Taoism. Many people have read "Tui Bei Tu", including Shaw in the Song Dynasty, who used the principles of "Yi" to infer world events. Shaw's medical theory from Taoism, when it comes to the instinct of life, there is a poem as follows: A man with eyes and ears (wonder of life), Hong Jun bestows no poverty (the preciousness of life). Things are known only because of the Moon Exploration Cave (the material world comes from kinetic energy), How can one know people without the root of heaven (how can one understand people if the source of life in the universe cannot be grasped). When Gan Yuxun observed the Moon Cave (Tianfeng (female empress), you can know the law of life), See the root of the sky where the thunder meets the earth (Fu Gua, see the origin of life). Traveling between Tiangen and Moon Caves (if you can grasp the relationship between life and the universe), The thirty-six palaces are all spring (you can get real immortality and eternal life).
