The spiritual search begins with the search for eternal joy, for eternal freedom, for divine light and divine life. But that center remains with you.In the beginning it was a self-centered search.Whatever you are looking for you are looking for yourself. This egocentric attitude will eventually become a hindrance, because if you are egocentric you cannot be in total ecstasy. This self-centered attitude is a great hindrance, but that's how it was meant to happen in the first place. It is very natural for a man to start looking for himself. There is no other way.You can't start doing this for someone else.

It must be egocentric in the beginning, but it must not be in the end.In the beginning there was no problem. That's dangerous at the end. There comes a point where your egoism has to stop.Only then will your essence open into total bliss. It's like this: you bring the breath in, you breathe in.This is half of breathing. You also have to exhale. That's the other half. And these two, inhalation and exhalation, make a circle, a complete breath. If you just want to inhale and you don't see a reason to exhale: "What's the use?" you will die.Breathing in, that is what life needs, without breathing out it is dangerous for life. The breath must be released.

The same thing happens the moment you start receiving bliss, the moment you start receiving ecstasy, the moment eternity enters you.The first thing is to breathe in, you will breathe in joy, but then you will have to breathe it out.Otherwise, you will die of your own joy. That joy can become poisonous.Exhale it, distribute it, give it to others. When you feel that you are filled with joy, express it.Share it; don't try to keep it inside of you.Don't force it, don't make it your own.Don't try to own it; share it with everyone.Really, celebrate it in a way that the whole of existence can share.A flower blooms and its fragrance spreads. The wind will take it away, far away, to the far corners of the earth.Let your fragrances, your joys, be carried far away, let them be shared, shared by existence itself.

Why?Because then the bliss becomes complete: it is both the inhalation and the exhalation. It becomes a circle. And the more you give away, the more you get.The more you throw, the more you find, because now you have access to that endless source. Don't be a miser.Otherwise you will kill the whole process. If you are self-centered, in the beginning there is no problem, but when bliss happens it is dangerous. This passage is related to this phenomenon of exhalation. "There will be a resonant voice coming out of this peaceful stillness. And this voice will say that is not good; you have reaped, you must now sow. You will obey because you understand that this voice is the silence itself. "

You have reaped it.You have reaped bliss, you have reaped ecstasy. Now to sow its seeds for others. In this world, you sow first and then reap.On the spiritual level, everything is just the opposite. You reap first, then you sow. You reap what Buddha sows, you reap what Jesus, Krishna, Mohammad sow. They plant the seeds and you reap them. Now, plant the seeds for others. It is good to remember that sowing is just exhaling. It's part of the whole process.Until joy has started flowing from you to everything, you are still only half, incomplete, imperfect. This is a necessary law. When you become still, you hear it.No one will tell you.Your own heart, your own innermost being, will tell you this. This guidance, this teaching, this message does not come from outside. It comes from your innermost self. That's why "you will obey."It is impossible to disobey; it is your own.But it's easier if you understand it well.If you know that's part of the process, it's simple: that joy should be given and shared; only then will it grow more.If you do not understand this law, your miserliness, your old egoism may delay the completion of this process.

It can only be delayed; it cannot be violated forever. But why delay it?So remember: when you feel joy, share it. That's why I insist so much that after meditation you have to show your joy; you have to celebrate it.You have to remember that whatever happens to you, share it.Sing and dance. These are just symbols; they are there to keep the event in mind. When you leave here many things will happen to you if you continue to meditate. But when something happens to you, don't hide it from yourself.Gotta share it.Even if you can't do anything, just smile, smile at strangers, and maybe that's enough.Just hold the hand of a stranger and feel his inner friend.Or just share anything tokenly.Or if you're sitting under a tree and no one's there, dance and feel like you're dancing with the tree.Sing and feel like you are singing with the birds.Sooner or later you will understand that when you share, even the trees are ready to share with you.

Some studies have been done in Soviet Russian universities. After many experiments, a psychoanalyst, Pushkin, came to the conclusion that trees and humans have similar emotions. Not only that, but trees can be hypnotized. Not only that, if a person is hypnotized under a tree and you say to him, "You are very sad." The person will become sad, and at the same time the tree will become sad. These are the conclusions of the experiments. Now there are mechanical recording devices that can record whether you are sad or happy, depressed, angry or sexual. With various emotions, there will be different waves released from your mind. That wave can be recorded. But this is a very strange conclusion: the same waves are also recorded in trees. You are dancing under the tree, you are happy.Your mind will indicate that you are happy, and it will be recorded. If the device is also connected to the tree, the tree will have the same waveform. So Pushkin said that if you dance under a tree very happily, the tree will share it.Trees will be very happy with you.

And if trees can share your emotions, why can't birds? They are more alive. Why can't animals? They are still more alive. Why not the whole existence?Sooner or later you will find that even stones share your emotions.Their souls may be hidden deep, but they are there; one day we will find instruments that will show us that even a stone has emotions. So whenever and wherever you feel some ecstasy, dance to it, sing to it, and share it in the way that joy happens to you, in the way you feel joy way to share it.But do share it!It will grow even more.As it is shared, it grows. With miserliness, without sharing, it dies, it shrinks.

Death is a contraction. To shrink is to die; to live is to expand.Let it stretch out.Once you understand what it feels like to expand you will let it happen because that is what your innermost self is calling the shots. "You are now a disciple, you can stand, you can hear, you can see, you can speak; you have conquered desire and attained self-knowledge, you have seen your soul flower and recognized it, You heard the sound of silence, you went to the Hall of Learning and read what was written there for you." "...to hear the inner voice is to know that the only guidance comes from within; to go to the temple of learning is to enter the state of learning. Then there will be many words written there for you, and to make it easy for you to read, it is also written in fiery red letters.Because when the disciple is ready, the master is also ready. 』

"To hear the inner voice is to know that the only guidance comes from within. ’ When you’re quiet, really quiet—when the storm has passed, when you’ve fallen spontaneously into stillness—you haven’t cultivated it; it’s come to you, it’s been spontaneous. Emerge within you, and in that stillness you feel, know and appreciate that true guidance is possible now in your own innermost being. Now the Master, the inner Master, will appear before you. Your own innermost center is your true master.External masters can help you, but their help is basically aimed at finding the inner master. And when the inner master is found, there is no need for an outer master. You become the master by yourself.

But this can only happen when you experience a total inner silence, without any thought, without any word, without any imagination, without any ripple. When you know and feel a stillness that is unwavering, a thoughtless, unmoving stillness, then that stillness becomes your inner master. Now, because of this silence, you will be guided. "Because the master is ready when the disciple is ready. ’ When you are ready to accept inner guidance, inner guidance will come naturally and automatically. But the disciple has to be ready. What does it mean that a disciple is ready? It means becoming totally accepting, humble, egoless, surrendering, literally letting go.When you say nothing but receptive listening, when you put no theory on top of the truth, you are naked, empty, and ready to let the truth reveal itself in its own way; Unintentionally imposing anything on the truth in any way; you have stopped forcing; you are ready to be taken wherever the truth will take you, then you are a disciple. There is a big difference between a student and a disciple.Students are hungry for information. The disciple is not hungry for information. He is seeking for knowledge, for real experience. He is not interested in what other people have to say.He is interested in what he can feel. The student would collect information; he would train his memory. And the more he trains his memory, the more information he accumulates, the more he becomes himself.A student can never be humble, a scholar can never be humble. His search is basically egoistic. Some accumulate wealth and others accumulate knowledge. They are no different.Every accumulation feeds the ego.Whatever you accumulate, the greater the amount of it, the more self you will feel.So students and scholars are not disciples. It is different in terms of levels.A disciple does not accumulate things.Instead, he is ready to throw away all the accumulation. If truth could only arise in that emptiness, he would be ready to drop all accumulations, all knowledge. Socrates is said to have said in old age: "Now I can say that I know nothing. I am ignorant." He was a disciple. At that time a prophet declared that Socrates was the wisest man in Athens. Those who heard this ran to Socrates. They said, "Have you heard, Socrates? The prophet says you are the wisest man in Athens." Socrates said, "There must be something wrong. Go back and tell that seer Socrates that he doesn't know anything. He is completely ignorant." People went back to the seer and told him, "Your prophecy was denied by Socrates himself. He said, 'I don't know anything. I'm ignorant.'" The prophet laughed. He said: "Because of this I say he is the wisest man" -- because only a perfectly wise man can say: "I don't know." Ignorant people always talk about knowledge. The more ignorant people are, the more they will claim that they know. That's part of the ignorance.Students, experts, scholars, they are all talking about knowledge. They are not disciples. Remember, if you are a student, you can become a teacher but not a master.Only a disciple can become a master. If you are a student, a scholar, you can become a teacher, but you can never become a master.Only a disciple can become a master. The so-called disciple means selfless surrender. And once you surrender, your innermost self will be revealed. That is the Master who is waiting for you.He has been waiting for you for several lifetimes. In any moment of surrender, the master will be revealed. And that master is not anyone. It is your innermost self, which is your own Atman. So, it can really be said that when you are the perfect disciple you become the master. You are no longer a disciple. What a disciple should do has been accomplished, and you have now become a master.
