Hegel: Volume 2, like Volume 1, is still translated according to the 1952 edition of Hoffmeister (Hegel: Phanomenologie des ceistes, herausgegeben von Johannes Hoffmeister, 1952, Verlag von Felix Meinerin Hamburg).In the process of translation, in addition to checking the earlier published version of Lasson (G. Lasson) that was processed by Hoffmeister, all references were made to the reprinted edition of J.B. Baillie in 1932. The English translation and the French translation of J. Hyppolite's 1939 first edition, and in some places, the Russian translation of Shchert's 1959 was also checked.

The text of this Chinese translation and the subtitles added under each chapter in the table of contents in hexagonal brackets [] are translated based on the 1921 Larson and Hippolyte French translations and referring to the subtitles in the Russian translation.Although these subheadings are not original to Hegel’s works, nor can they summarize all the content under the headings, but the editors and translators added them in the past because they help to understand the general meaning of each paragraph, so the Chinese translation They are still used for the reader's reference.
