On the first and seventh day of Sakyamuni's enlightenment, when he was enjoying the joy of the Dharma, he was the great Bodhisattva of Vajra, and said this mantra, which is the origin of this sect. "Sutra" and "Diamond Sutra" each have 100,000 verses, which are collected in the Nantian Iron Tower.Later, Nagarjuna Bodhisattva opened the Nantian Iron Pagoda, saw Vajrasattva in person, accepted the Dafa, and received two major sutras.Later, Nagarjuna taught the Dharma to Longzhi Bodhisattva, and Longzhihua traveled in South Tianzhu and his teacher (Ceylon) and other countries. He lived for more than 700 years, and passed on two great dharmas to the masters of Shanwuwei and Vajra Wisdom.

Shanwuwei was a beginner who learned Kongzong, and after entering the Tantra, he became a traveler in South India. He came to Chang'an four years ago in Kaiyuan and engaged in translating scriptures. , and died at ninety-nine years. In the eighth year of Kaiyuan, King Kong Zhi and his disciple Bukong came to China from Haidao, and also went to Chang'an to translate scriptures, including the "King Kongding Sutra". He was 71 years old and died in Guangfu Temple in Luoyang. When he was dying, he asked his disciple Bukong to return to printing and seek the complete copies of the "Diamond Sutra" and "Diamond Summit Sutra". Translated scriptures, the translated classics, according to legend, have one hundred and forty-two volumes. He is actually a great translator after Rosh and Xuanzang. There are many disciples of Bukong, the most important of which is Huiguo. Huiguo teaches righteousness, and righteousness conveys truth. The Japanese monk Kukai is also a disciple of Huiguo. He is the founder of Japanese Tantric Buddhism and has been passed down to this day.Tibetan Buddhism also belongs to Tantric Buddhism, which was directly transmitted from India and is commonly known as "Tibetan Buddhism".This sect regards the three volumes as the classics, namely, the Great Nikon, the Vajra Peak Sutra, and the Su Xidi Sutra. The "Darijing" is a meeting of Vilujana Buddha in the Dharma Realm, and he said the truth that Shi'a is not born, and the mandala that all sentient beings have. "Su Xidi Sutra" is the solemn practice of those who speak the truth and practice the laws and rituals. This is the essence of the trilogy of mantras.

Shingon Buddhism pays attention to rituals, visualization, seal formation, and mantra recitation, so as to make body, speech, and mind correspond to each other. With the blessing of the three secrets, one can become a Buddha in one's own body and achieve the true truth of self-certification.Cultivate the three secrets. You should form mudra, sing the mantra, and live in samadhi, creating an objective and solemn environment, so that you can always pay attention to it.Moisturizes and stimulates corresponding behaviors to obtain corresponding rewards.Cultivate to the realm of oneness of Buddha and mortal being, and oneness of rebirth as Buddha, then you can exert infinite majestic power. And the Shingon sect is based on the mandala. In the mandala, all the problems of esoteric teaching can be exhausted. From the investigation of the mandala, one can understand the appearance of the Buddha body, the establishment of the Buddha body, the symbol of the Buddha body, etc., and at the same time understand the teachings and organizational outline of the sect. Therefore, the mandala is the essence of the sect. It is also the ultimate expression of Buddhist art.The content of the mandala is very different, but the same performance can be divided into four types for observation:

(1) Great mandala: It is the image that represents the whole universe, and refers to the universal appearance of all things, the phenomena formed from the six elements, and the whole of all dharmas, called Daman. That is to say, as far as Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are concerned, all the deities have good looks, and they are also called great mandalas. (2) Samaya Mandala: - Refers to the special phase of phenomena. Every phenomenon in the universe has its own characteristics. Everything is not a meaningless existence.Everything has its own profound life and value.Everything expresses their own vows.Samaya has the four meanings of equality, original oath, elimination of obstacles, and awakening.Among them, this oath is the closest original meaning, which is an ideal of function. For example, the knives, swords, wheel treasures, lotus flowers and other utensils and handprints held by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas all symbolize the vows of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

(3) Famandala: - refers to all languages, sounds, characters, names and other meanings.Everything has its special meaning and ideal. When it is expressed in sound or name, it also has a special meaning. The ten kinds of dharma realms all have language, and the dharmas of the six dusts are all written words. All languages and all characters are the languages and characters of the Tathagata. For example, the mantra expressed in Sanskrit characters for the first word represents the sign of the gods, the word "A" means Dainichi Tathagata, and the word "Yong" means Amitabha Buddha, all of which have the same meaning.

(4) Karma Mandala: ——It represents the activities and functions of things in the universe.Karma means homework, and everything is a symbol of reality. All the functions and activities are activities of reality itself, the movement of the four elements, and the changes of the sun, moon and stars are all meaningful activities emanating from reality. From the point of view of Esoteric Buddhism, the prestige and deeds of the Buddhas, that is, the prestige activities expressed in casting and sculpture, are all Karma; in a broad sense, the walking, standing, sitting, lying down, and all activities in the world of sentient beings are also Karma. mandala.
