During the eight or nine hundred years of Buddha's extinction, Maitreya Bodhisattva, at the request of Asanga Bodhisattva, descended from Tushita Heaven to the Yuzana Lecture Hall in Ayuzhe, Zhongtianzhu, and preached "Yogi's Land Theory", etc., and established consciousness-only, Dhamma teachings.Asanga Bodhisattva made his own "Ji Lun" to clarify all dharmas, and taught his disciples and teachers to choose, so it became a dharma system.He also created "Mahayana Lun", which clarified the principle of consciousness-only, and taught his younger brother and relatives to choose, so it later became the consciousness-only system.However, consciousness is the only thing to be able to do, and the phase is the only thing to have. There is a close relationship between cause and effect, and they cannot be separated.The relatives not only created interpretations for "She Lun", but also reproduced "Twenty Consciousness-Only Theories", in order to broadly break the outsider Hinayana, and created "Thirty Consciousness-Only Theories", to establish the truth of knowing the cause and effect.Later, Chen Na, Hufa, Anhui, Nanda, and Jiexian continued to rise up, so the meaning of this religion is gradually complete.During the Southern and Northern Dynasties in our country, although the Tripitaka of Truth and Bodhi Liuzhi had translated the Sutra of Faxiang, they did not complete their work.Xuanzang Sanzang of the Tang Dynasty, with his incomparable talent and indomitable ambition, traveled thousands of miles alone, traveled through five Indias, and learned five great treatises and ten branch treatises from his masters.He is more proficient in Yinming's "On Lixue" and the statement (linguistics and philology).Returning to Chang'an in the 19th year of Zhenguan, he widely translated 1,300 volumes of scriptures and treatises. Only the profound purpose of knowing the law and the truth of changing cause and effect began to spread in China, and the emptiness and confusion of the Chinese people's ideological circles were washed away.He also got his disciple, Master Kui Ji, who wrote twenty volumes of "Remarks on Cheng Wei Consciousness", and made extensive chapters: such as "Mahayana Law Garden Yilin Wei Consciousness Chapter" seven volumes, "Wei Consciousness Palm Center Essentials" four volumes, " A Brief Compilation of Yoga has sixteen volumes, promoting this sect, and master Taixu also promoted this sect in modern times.

This sect says that everything in the universe is manifested by consciousness (mind), so it is called the Consciousness-only sect. This sect does not explain the universe itself, but only classifies phenomena in detail, so it is also called the Faxiang sect.From a historical point of view, the "Thirty Verses on Consciousness Only" and "Twenty Treatises on Consciousness Only" produced by the Bodhisattva based on the "Unraveling the Deep Secret Sutra" and "Yogi Master's Land Theory" are the fundamental classics of this school.But after the family, sages and sages came out in large numbers, each with a book of interpretation, and Tang Xuanzang, in the "Cheng Wei Consciousness Theory", quoted "Avatamsaka", "Shen Mi", "The Merit and Virtue of the Tathagata Appears", "Abhidhamma" ", "Langa", "Secret Yan" and other six classics, as well as "Yoga", "Xianyang", "Majority", "Jiquan", "Mahayana", "Ten Grounds", "Separating Yujia", "Viewing The eleven theories, such as "Substance and Condition", "Twenty Consciousnesses", "Distinguishing the Middle Boundary", and "Miscellaneous Collections", are used to prove the meaning of the mind. Therefore, later scholars took the six classics and eleven theories as the basis of the school preached scriptures.

Again, Master Xuanzang also synthesized the teachings of Bodhisattvas of the world, Dharma protector, Nanda, Anhui, Qinsheng, Huoben, Dehui, Jingyue, Shengyou, the most victorious son, Zhiyue and other ten masters. The interpretation of "Thirty Verses on Consciousness-Only Consciousness" and the ten volumes of "On Chengwei Consciousness" compiled are the network dimension established by this sect, so they are also important classics of this sect. This sect establishes the meaning of consciousness-only, and Gude encloses it with five-fold consciousness-only conception. (1) The Consciousness-Only View of Removing the Void and Preserving the Real: Why do we resign the Void and preserve the Real?That is to say, it is to dispel the illusory and falsehoods that are grasped by all kinds of calculations, and to rely on others and to realize the real existence of perfection.The previous cloud pervasive calculation and grasping is like recognizing a dream as a reality, as if holding on to a cloud as a solid, it is only illusory.According to his nature, it is like a dream in the heart, like a cloud floating in the sky, an illusion that is inseparable from reality and has no self-body.This cloud dismisses the emptiness of pervasive calculations, and those who rely on the reality of other perfections, use both the true and the common two truths, and focus on emptiness and falsehood.As far as the common truth is concerned, it is also true to rely on other origins. As for the ultimate meaning, it is true only when it is perfect and perfect.Telling the truth about emptiness is a consciousness-only view of emptiness and its relativeness.The second and second truths are also the two gates of nature and phase, which are always manifested in dependence on nature, and always dwell in nature apart from phase.The Awakening of Faith says: "The door of one mind's birth and death" means the origin of nature depending on others, and "one mind is as real as the door" means the perfect nature;

(2) Letting go of indiscriminate retention of pure consciousness-only concept: all dharmas are inseparable from consciousness, consciousness is divided into mind and environment, and the environment distinguishes internal and external.As mentioned above, dismissing emptiness only removes the illusory obsessions outside the mind, but this cloud abandons the indiscriminate states of the mind, which is a more advanced level.However, there is no original state outside the mind, and all objects are divided within the heart, and energy and conditions are all divided into views, all of which are unified in a hundred dharmas.Now, with regard to the hundred dharmas, the eleven material dharmas, the twenty-four uncorresponding dharmas, and the six disguised objects and inaction dharmas are left behind. These are the eight mind kings and fifty-one mental states.Keeping the mind of energy and letting go of the environment is the consciousness-only view of being relative to energy.

(3) Consciousness-only view of returning the end to the origin: one mind is divided into the origin and the end, the origin is the self-body of the mind, and the last is the appearance of the self-body.Although the above has given up and divided, there is still the use of seeing and dividing. This is to capture the two parts of seeing each other and return to the body of the mind of consciousness.What is the mind and body?That is, self-certification points.It is said to absorb the phases and views of consciousness and mind, and return to self-certification.Compared with the upper double layer, it is one level higher.It is the consciousness-only view of the relative use of the body.

(4) The Consciousness-Only View of Concealment and Inferiority: Consciousness-only view: The king of the mind is superior to the inferior, the king of the mind is the winner, and the mind is inferior.As far as the ultimate meaning is concerned, the main body's heart is king and the mentality of the hidden attribute is also the principle of broad and simple, rough and refined, so as to be used as the ear.So far, we have gone to fifty-one mental states, and only the eight mind kings remain, which is the consciousness-only view that the king is relative to. (5) Consciousness-only view of sending phases to prove nature: Although the king of the heart is respectful, there are reasons for things: the things that matter, the difference between them, must be sent;It is for the fact that things are relative, everything is clear, and wisdom has nothing to gain, and it is a consciousness-only view of true consciousness-only.
