The Twelve Karma Dharma Doors practiced by Yuanjue, Yuanjue is a saint of the middle vehicle, there are fateful enlightenment and independent enlightenment, born when there is a Buddha in the world is called Yuanjue, born in an era when there is no Buddha is called independent enlightenment.Yuanjue heard the Buddha's teaching of the law of twelve causes and conditions, and realized the truth of lifelessness.Dujue is self-enlightened without a teacher, living in the mountains and practicing alone. (1) Twelve karma What are the twelve karmas? One, ignorance, two, formation, three, consciousness, four, name and form, five, six entry, six, contact, seven, feeling, eight, love, nine, grasping, ten, being, eleven, birth, twelve , die of old age.

1. Ignorance: Refers to ignorance and troubles in people's minds, obscurity and ignorance, ignorance, confusion and confusion, thinking that the first thought of the mind is called ignorance of life. The source of life and death. At the same time, it is also the root of Nirvana liberation and Bodhi's tranquility. The Shurangama Sutra thoroughly explains the two fundamental principles of truth and falsehood. 2. Actions: Actions are karmic actions. Because of ignorance, confusion and delusion, there is no self in all dharmas, and there is a self in all dharmas.Because of the two attachments of self and law, delusion creates karma, and there is karma.Ignorance is the cause of past confusion.

3. Consciousness: In an instant, in front of parents, seeing the present desire state, one thought of love arises, which is the seed of birth, absorbed in the father's essence and mother's blood, and becomes a fetus. 4. Name and form: Refers to the mind and the form of the father's essence and mother's blood, which are combined to form our body and mind. Five, six entrances: the six entrances are the six sense organs of human eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, because the six sense organs can enter the six dust objects, and are also entered by the six dust objects of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma. The six dusts are involved in each other. For example, the eye faculty can see form and enter into form dust, and the other organs are also like this, so they are called six entrances.

Sixth, touch: the three harmony is touch, because with the six roots, it can feel and touch the realm of the six dusts.Touch is a very important branch of the twelve causal conditions. Being able to touch is the root, and what is touched is the state. The quality of the environment will be related to our root feelings, so the ancients said: "The one who is close to vermilion is red, and the one who is close to ink is black." For example, Meng Mu, why did she choose a neighbor? All this fully demonstrates that the objective environment plays a huge role in our human subjective consciousness. We are often able to get close to high sages or great virtuous teachers, and we are always influenced by wise words, which means we must make progress every day and make progress step by step.If the predestined relationship is mature, one can often live in a clean temple in an ancient temple on a famous mountain, live with peace of mind, and be influenced by Buddhism all the time, that is, one can say: "Dwelling in a famous mountain for a long time will give birth to the Tao and the mind will grow." The predestined relationship to a pure Buddhist place is exceptional.Regarding the environment touched, the "Legend Teaching Sutra" said: "You should control the five sense organs, and don't let them indulge in the five desires. For example, a man who herds cattle and holds a stick to watch them. If you don't allow them to indulge, you will commit crops. If you control the five sense organs, It is not only the five desires, which will have no limit and cannot be restrained. It is also like a ferocious horse, which will lead people into a pit if not controlled." To be able to grasp the barrier of touch is an important event.

7. Receiving: When the roots and dust touch each other, they will definitely accept the dust environment they touch. For example, our ears, when facing the sound dust, will accept various sounds, such as Shengxiao, drums and music. If they are played at the same time, we will accept them at the same time. , and clearly structured and clear. The above consciousness, name and form, the six entrances, contact, and feeling are the five bitter fruits of the present world. 8. Love: Love is greed. Since the six sense organs receive the six dusts, they think about and distinguish the objects they receive. They are happy with what they like, and they have a heart of greed, and they have a heart of affliction and disgust when they are not satisfied. .The heart of love and disgust is the root of life and death of all living beings in the six realms of reincarnation. To learn from Buddhism and practice is to cultivate this mind of delusion. "Diamond Sutra" said: "How should you live, how can you subdue your heart?"That is to use the wonderful wisdom of Vajra Prajna to reflect back and forth to subdue delusions. It is necessary to make it not have a heart of love and affection for the environment, no thoughts of discrimination, a heart like dead wood and cold ashes, and a mind like stagnant water in a cold pool, without a single thought, and all worries are silent. Kick the handicap."I remember Goode said: "Even if an iron bull roars like a lion, it is like a wooden man looking at flowers and birds, but he has no intention of being in everything, why is everything always around him."The most important thing here is the word Wuxin, which means that the six senses do not have a greedy heart for the six dusts, and one can subdue their hearts by reciting Buddha or taking care of Huatou. As time goes on, Kungfu will naturally mature. The ancients praised Wuwuyi Bodhisattva and said: "The world is boundless and troubled by dust, the boundless karma of all living beings is boundless, and the river of love has bottomless waves, so I am named Wuwuyi." It shows that love has a great effect. , The seven emotions of desire.1. Joy, when I achieve what I love, I will be happy in my heart.2. Wrath, if I take away what I love, I will be angry in my heart.3. Sorrow, when you lose someone you love, you feel sorrow in your heart.4. Happiness, when I get what I love, I will be happy in my heart.5. Love, when all circumstances are beneficial to me, greed and insatiable delusions will arise in my heart.6. Evil, against what I love, disgust arises in my heart.7. Desire, obedience to what I love brings lust in my heart. From this point of view, love is indeed the root of life and death, and the root of troubles. The ancients said: "Step off the red silk thread under your feet and jump out of the red lotus fire pit".What is the red thread under the feet? This is the word love.

9. Acquisition: Since you love the realm of the five desires you are greedy for, you will try your best to grab it and enjoy it for you as you please. In the environment of greed, resentment will be born, regardless of everything, and many sins will be done arbitrarily, so it is said that grasping is the chief culprit. We must always hold the gate of grasping, so as to eliminate the cause of affliction. Can be free from the suffering of life and death, this attachment and the love above and the initial ignorance, these three are called the delusion causes of troubles. 10. Existence: Existence is the unambiguous existence of cause and effect. For the situation you love, you take it, and for the situation you don’t love, you give it up, so you do all kinds of karma. The cause of karma must lead to the result of karma, the law of cause and effect is not wrong at all.The three factors of love, grasping, and possession are the three future causes of suffering created in this world.

Eleven, life, according to love, grasping, there are three causes of suffering, depending on the cause and effect, and rebirth in the world. 12. Old age and death, all living beings will grow from young to strong, from strong to old, step forward step by step, and finally go to the road of death. This is an irresistible objective law.Everyone in the world suffers from life, old age, sickness and death, just as Shakyamuni Buddha saw when he visited the four gates before he became a monk, it is really painful. Moreover, each of us cannot solve this kind of suffering. This is because the current craving has the three causes of suffering, which will affect the bitter fruit of birth, old age, illness and death in the future life. The ancients had a verse: In the past, there were two causes, and now there are five fruits, and now there are three causes, and in the future, there are two fruits. In general, it explains the double cause and effect of twelve karma and three times. The Buddha told Yuanjue people that the twelve karma methods are to reveal the law of the past, present and future karma and reincarnation cycle. In general, ignorance is related to action, action is related to consciousness, knowledge is related to name and form, name and form are related to the six sense organs, the six sense organs are related to contact, contact is related to feeling, feeling is related to love, love is related to grasping, grasping is related to being, being is related to birth, and birth is related to birth. Yuan died of old age.The ancients had four lines of gatha: "Ignorance loves to take the three afflictions, and the two branches of action are the path of karma. From consciousness to feeling and old age and death, these seven things are the path of suffering." reason.

The twelve karmas are also a chain of hooks and locks, intertwined with each other. There are also revolving doors and returning doors. What is mentioned above is the principle of the Twelve Karmic Relationships of the Revolving Gate.Pacceka Buddha is called Ligen among the Hinayana sages. They heard the Buddha said that the twelve karmic relationships are interrelated and the principle of mutual cause and effect, and they realized that the branch of ignorance is the total root of the cause and effect of suffering among the twelve karma.Once ignorance is eliminated, all the other eleven factors will also be eliminated. Therefore, Pacceka Buddha made up his mind to cut off ignorance. It's like cutting down a tree. Cut off the root first. Once the root is broken, the whole tree will fall down naturally.Only by the extinction of ignorance can the true nature be restored and afflictions eliminated, so it is called the door of extinction. This is the principle of the twelve causal relationships practiced by Yuanjue sages.

【Twelve Links】 (2) The non-living Dharma-door cultivated by alone enlightenment The solitary Hinayana sages were born when no Buddha was born, relying on their own wisdom alone, in the law of birth and death, they realized the principle of non-birth.He did not hear the voice of the Buddha. He lived alone in the remote mountains and poor valleys, and he worked hard to cultivate himself. The path practiced by Dujue Pacceek Buddha is to watch flowers bloom in spring, yellow leaves fall in autumn, and see the prosperity and withering of all things and trees. The same is true of Lenovo's life. The so-called "life is like spring and flowers blooming, death is like yellow leaves falling in autumn wind".A person with independent consciousness observes life and death, and realizes the principle of no birth and no death. This true nature is also eternal, and it will not arise and die with the birth and death of things and phenomena. This is the truth of "beautiful through the past and the present without changing, and always existing through thousands of calamities".Therefore, the only enlightened Pacceek Buddha is called Ligen Hinayana person.Whether it is a predestined enlightenment or a solitary enlightened Pacceek Buddha, only eighty-eight envoys of seeing and confusing, eighty-one kinds of thinking and confusing are cut off, the troubles of self-attachment are cut off, the truth of self-emptiness is obtained, and partial true Nirvana is realized, and there is room for convenience. This is the unborn truth realized by the alone consciousness.
