The Three Gospels (1) Jesus goes to Judea During the Feast of Tabernacles in the Temple, Jesus' relationship with the Pharisees and the high priest intensified. The chief priests and Pharisees were very worried, fearing that Jesus would perform many miracles, win over the lower-class Jews, and arouse the suspicion and persecution of the Romans. The high priest for this year was Caiaphas. He also knew that Jesus came to save a nation of people.Caiaphas said to the Pharisees: "You don't know anything! You don't want only one person to die for the people, so that the whole country will not perish. This is your benefit." Because Jesus not only wanted to die for a country, but also To gather together all the scattered people.

The Pharisees had already woven a net to catch Jesus. He could not be openly active in Judah. So he temporarily left Jerusalem and went to a village near the wilderness called Ephraim, where he lived with his disciples. The Jewish Passover is getting closer.People rushed to Jerusalem one after another to purify themselves before the festival. The Jews in the city were also discussing in the temple whether Jesus would come or not.The Pharisees had already ordered that if anyone saw Jesus, they should report it immediately and they would arrest him. There was still some time before the Passover, and Jesus led his disciples to the Jewish land, passing through Bethany, the place where Lazarus died and rose again.Jesus attended a feast prepared for him at Bethany.Mary, the sister of Lazarus, anointed his feet with a catty of very costly ointment, and then with her hair.It was around this feast that Jesus again taught the Pharisees. (John 11; 12) When the Pharisees saw what Mary had done to serve Jesus, they were incredulous. They thought, if this man is a prophet, he should know what this woman is.She is a very sinful person!Jesus calmly told Simon Peter that he had something to tell them. Peter said, "Teacher, please tell me." Jesus said, "There is a creditor, and two people owe him money. One owes fifty taels of silver, and the other owes five taels of silver." .Because they were unable to repay the debt, the creditor let both of them owe their debts. Which of these two people do you think loves him more?"

Simon said, "Of course it is the one who is forgiven more." Jesus continued, "Simon, when I came into your house, you did not wash my feet with water, but this woman wet my feet with tears and dried them with her hair; you did not kiss me, but this woman kissed me feet; you have not anointed my head with oil, but this woman has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her many sins are forgiven, for she loves much; whoever forgives little, his There is less love." Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. Go home in peace." (Luke 7) Passing through Samaria and Galilee on the way to Jerusalem; reaching a village where ten lepers met him at the entrance.Seeing Jesus approaching, they shouted, "Teacher, have mercy on us!" Jesus told them to go to the priest and show him that they were clean. When one of them recovered from his illness, he came back and fell down at Jesus' feet.

Jesus said, "Aren't there ten? What about the other nine? Will no one come back to glorify my Lord except this foreigner? Arise! Your faith has saved you." (Lu 17) Jesus led the twelve disciples to continue on their way.He said, "Look! Let us go up to Jerusalem. Everything that was written by the prophets will be fulfilled in the Son of Man. He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and people will mock him, insult him, and spit on him. face, and will scour him and kill him. On the third day he will rise again." But at this time, his disciples were only vaguely disturbed, and they didn't know the whole meaning of what Jesus said.

When Jesus was passing through Narico, he met a chief tax collector named Zacchaeus, who was a rich man there. At that time, the villagers gathered around the roadside to watch Jesus pass by. Zacchaeus was a dwarf, so he climbed up to the mulberry tree to see for sure, because Jesus would definitely pass under the tree. Jesus came over, looked up, and said to him, "Zacchaeus! Come down. Today I will go to your house." Zacchaeus hurried down from the tree and received Jesus and his party with joy. When everyone saw it, they all talked about it, saying that he went to stay in a sinner's house.Zacchaeus was saved, and he said to Jesus: "Lord, I have sinned in the past. Today I will give half of my property to the poor. I will pay back four times to those who have been blackmailed by me." Jesus then announced : "Salvation has come to this house today, because he is also a descendant of Abraham. The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost."

Because Jesus was close to Jerusalem, and because the people thought that the kingdom of God was about to appear, Jesus further told them such a story with a parable: Once upon a time, there was a nobleman who wanted to go far away to inherit the throne, and then came back.He summoned ten servants and gave them ten ingots of silver, telling them to do business first and wait for him to come back. But the people of his own country hated him and did not want him to come back as king, so they sent someone to tell him that they did not want him to come back as king. When he came back from the kingdom, he ordered the servants who had received the money to come to him.

The first servant came and reported to him, "My lord, you have earned ten ingots for a piece of silver." Then the master said, "Well, good servant. Since you are faithful even in the smallest thing , you can gain authority and manage ten cities." The second servant came up and replied, "Master, you have earned five ingots for one denarius you gave." The master said, "You can also manage five cities." Another servant came up and presented the original ingot of silver. He said, "Lord, here is your silver. I wrapped it in cloth. I was afraid of you, because you are a strict man." .You have to take what you haven't put down, and you have to harvest what you haven't planted."

The master said to him, "You evil servant! By your mouth I will condemn you. Now that you know that I am strict, you will reap what you have not let go, and reap what you have not sown. Why don't you put my money in the bank and return it with interest when I come back? " He took the silver coin and handed it to the servant who had earned ten coins. The man said, "Take it! I already have ten ingots." But the master replied, "I tell you, everyone who has will be given more; whoever has nothing, even what he has will be taken away. As for my enemies do not want me to be their king, but bring them here and kill them before me." (Luke 19) When Jesus told this story, it was already six days before the Passover. The next day would be his last entry into Jerusalem.

The Holy City of the Lord Riding on a Donkey Five days before the Passover of that year, that is, the day that later became Sunday, Jesus and his disciples came from Bethany to Bethphage, approached Jerusalem, and stopped at the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two disciples to say. "Go to the opposite village, and you will definitely see a donkey tied there, and a donkey colt with it. Untie it and bring it to me. If anyone asks why, just say, I mostly use it.That person will definitely let you bring him here immediately. "This took place so that it might be fulfilled that the prophet said, "Say to the inhabitants of Zion: Behold, your king comes to you, gentle, and riding on a donkey, that is, on a colt of a donkey. "

When the disciples walked to the village according to Jesus' words, they saw a donkey tied in the street outside the gate, and they untied it.Some of those standing there said, "What are you doing untying the colt?" The disciples answered as Jesus said, and the people let them lead it away. They brought the colt to Jesus, put their cloaks on it, and put Jesus on it.Jesus rode into the city on a donkey, just as it is written in the Bible: "People of Zion, do not be afraid, your king is coming riding on a donkey's colt." This was said about him, and they did so to him. When Jesus called Lazarus and raised him from the dead, all those who were there with Jesus testified.

As Jesus approached the city, there were crowds of people on the road. They spread their clothes on the road, and some cut off branches from the field and spread them on the road.As they approached Jerusalem and were going down the Mount of Olives, all the disciples rejoiced because of all the miracles they had seen, and they praised God with a loud voice, saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! In heaven there is peace." , and glory in the highest." Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Sir, rebuke your disciples! They are shouting like this." Jesus said, "I tell you, if they had kept silent, the stones would have cried out. Woke up." Approaching Jerusalem, Jesus saw from afar the holy city that symbolized the entire Jewish nation and was at the same time the center of Jewish upper class rule. Foreseeing the ravages and destruction she would suffer in more than 30 years, he could not help but feel sorry for her. Wept bitterly.Jesus said: "I wish you knew the things that concern your safety in this day, but they are hidden now, so that your eyes will not see them. For the confinement is coming, your enemies will build a wall around you, They will surround you on all sides. And they will sweep you away and your children within you, and will not leave a stone on a stone, for you do not know the time of your visit." This is indeed an irreversible fate, for the city has neither Knowing that she does not accept the favor of the King of Kings. When Jesus entered the city, the tens of thousands of people who had gathered one after another to prepare for the festival were alarmed. Someone asked, "Who is this?" The people said, "This is Jesus, the prophet Jesus of Nazareth in Galilee." So many people in the city took palm branches and shouted "Hosanna" to meet him. (Hosanna originally meant to ask for help; here it is a word of praise.) Although the people did not know that Jesus is the Christ at this time. But with him as a prophet, they have long been willing to listen to him.As a result, in the next few days, although the chief priests, scribes, and elders wanted to arrest and kill Jesus, they were unable to do so, and did not dare to do so.The Pharisees sighed to each other, "Behold, you are vain; the world has gone after him." Jesus paused to make this discourse to the people. He said, "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains but a single grain; but if it dies, it produces many grains. Whoever loves his life will lose it; whoever hates his life in this world will keep it unto eternal life. "If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there will be my servant. My Father will honor him. "My heart is troubled right now. What shall I say? Father! Deliver me from this time! But this is what I came for. Father, glory be to your name." At that time, a voice came from heaven: "You have glorified my name, and you will glorify it again." The people standing nearby all witnessed the words of God, and some people said, "An angel spoke to him." Jesus told them, "This voice came not for me, but for you. Now the world is judged, and the prince of this world will be cast out. If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to me." Jesus is already hinting to people here that he will be lifted up and crucified. (John 12) On the night after entering the city, Jesus is said to have not been in the city. After a week of touring the temple, he and his disciples went out to the nearby suburb of Bethany to spend the night. The next morning, when they came out of Bethany, Jesus was hungry.Seeing a fig tree in the distance with leaves on it, he went there and found nothing but leaves under the tree. Jesus said to the tree, "From now on, you will never have fruit." His disciples heard his curses on Fig Village. The fig tree reminded Jesus of the scene when he entered the temple yesterday: everything in the temple was still the same, and his father's temple, which he had cleansed three years ago, was still a den of thieves. The formal sacrificial activity is like this lush green leaf, but behind it, there is no fruit that can only satisfy God the Father and Christ! No wonder Jesus cursed the damned fig tree angrily. After Jesus entered the temple, with the same anger as three years ago, he drove out the businessmen in the temple, overturned the tables of the money changers and the stools of those who sold doves, and did not allow anyone to pass through the temple with utensils .He cleansed his father's temple again. After doing all this, he went out of the city again to Bethany. Another morning, Jesus and his disciples passed under the fig tree that he had cursed, and saw that the fig tree was withered from root to root.Remembering Jesus' words, Peter said to him, "Look, sir! The fig tree you cursed has withered." Jesus replied: "You should believe in God. I tell you the truth: no matter whoever says to this mountain, "Move this place and throw it into the sea!" In the end, it will definitely make him succeed. So I tell you: Whatever you ask for in prayer, no matter what it is, as long as you believe that you have obtained it, you will definitely get it. When you stand praying, if you think that someone has offended you Forgive him, so that your Father who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses; and neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive you your trespasses, unless you forgive others." (Mark 11) Jesus was in the temple every day. teach people. The chief priests and scribes and the elders of the people wanted to kill him, but they could not find a way, because the people listened to him. (Matthew 21) Warn chief priests and elders In Jerusalem, Jesus used several parables to warn the chief priests, scribes, Pharisees, and elders of the synagogue who were always trying to murder him. Jesus first told the parable of the wicked husbandman.Jesus said: "A man planted a vineyard, fenced it around, dug a wine press, built a tower, rented it out to farmers, and went abroad. When the harvest time came, the master sent a servant to the to the sowers, to receive from them the vineyard. But the sowers caught him, beat him, and told him to go away empty-handed. The lord sent another servant to them, and they bruised his head again, and insulted him, and told him to go home empty-handed. The master sent another servant, and they wounded him, and pushed him out of the vineyard. Then the master sent many servants, some of whom were beaten and some of whom were killed. The owner of the vineyard said, "What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Maybe they will respect him and let him bring back the fruit of the vineyard. So he sent his beloved son to the vineyard, who It was expected to be even worse this time. When the farmers saw the owner's son coming in person, they gathered together in hatred and said, "This is the heir to the inheritance. Let's kill him so that the inheritance will belong to us." So they and killed him by throwing him out of the vineyard. Say, what shall the owner of the vineyard do when he returns?" Everyone who heard the lecture said: "We will kill those wicked people with poisonous hands, and lease the vineyard to other farmers who will deliver the fruit on time." Jesus went on to say, "Yes, he will come and destroy those wicked farmers and rent out the vineyards to others. It is written: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is what the Lord has done , it is marvelous in our eyes. Have you not read this scripture? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and given to a people who can give its fruit. Whoever falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; Whoever this stone falls on will be smashed to pieces." The meaning of Jesus' parable is obvious. The owner of the vineyard is God, and his vineyard is the people of Israel. The servants sent by the owner of the land and his own son are the prophets and Christ himself, who were abused, beaten and even killed. All these blood debts for the murder of the prophets and the Son of God, the God of fire, will be recovered from the Jews.In front of the Jewish upper class, Jesus Christ is a "rejected stone".But this stone is "the cornerstone", he is the Messiah, the first cornerstone of the kingdom of heaven. The Lord is also the Lord of Judges. "Whoever falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and whoever this stone falls on will be crushed to pieces." The elders of Judas and the scribes understood that Jesus was referring to them in this parable. Jesus told another parable of a king preparing a wedding feast for his son. "The kingdom of heaven is like a king who made a wedding feast for his son, and sent his servants, and invited those who were called to come, but they refused to come. "The king sent other servants, saying, Tell those who were called, My feast is ready, the oxen and fat animals have been slaughtered, and everything is ready, please come to the feast. Those people ignore One went to his own field; the other went to trade; the rest seized the servants, abused them, and killed them. "The king was furious, and sent troops to destroy those murderers. Burned their cities. "Then he said to his servants, The wedding feast is ready, but those who are called are not worthy. Therefore, go up to the fork in the road, and invite everyone you meet to the feast. Those servants went out to the road, and everyone who met you, regardless of Both good and evil are gathered together, and the banquet is full of guests. "The king came in to watch the guests, and when he saw a man without a formal dress, he said to him, "My friend, why don't you wear a formal dress when you come here? The man has no answer. So the king said to the servants: Bind him." hands and feet, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen." In this parable, the king also refers to God, and the king's son refers to Christ, the Son of God. The servants sent out are the prophets including Jesus Christ himself who were rejected or killed by the Jewish elders who were called earlier. The Jewish elders once thought that they were the descendants of Abraham and had the privilege of sitting with Abraham in the kingdom of heaven. But Jesus warned, "You will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the garden of God, and you will be cast out, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 21, 22) Ask questions in public On the Sabbath, Jesus taught in the synagogue. There was a woman who was possessed by a demon and was ill for eighteen years. She was so bent that she could not straighten up.When Jesus saw the hunchbacked woman, he called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are free from this disease!" Then he pressed her with both hands, and she straightened up immediately. The sudden disappearance of her suffering brought tears to her eyes, and she gave the glory to God from the bottom of her heart. The leader of the synagogue was a member of the upper class in Judah. Seeing that Jesus healed people on the Sabbath, he angrily incited the crowd, saying: "There are six days when you should work, and you can come to seek medical treatment during those six days, but you are not allowed on the Sabbath." this way." Jesus retorted him and said, "You hypocrites, don't you each untie your ox and donkey from the trough on the Sabbath and lead them to drink? Besides, this woman is a descendant of Abraham and was bound by Satan for eighteen years. , shall not she be loosed on the Sabbath?" Jesus' words immediately left his enemies speechless. But the crowd rejoiced over all the glorious things Jesus had done. After this, several Pharisees and some Healyites were sent to Jesus again, and they tempted him, saying, "Sir, we know that you are an honest man, and that you preach the word of God honestly, You don't show favoritism to anyone, because you don't judge people by appearances. We want to ask you a question, please tell us, is it okay or not for us to pay taxes to Caesar?" Jesus knew that their asking for advice was false, but the temptation was real, so he said to them straightforwardly, "Why are you tempting me?" Jesus saw through the deceitfulness of the enemy, and felt the difficulty of answering this question.Because if you answer "no", you can immediately be accused of rebelling against the Roman emperor by the Jewish upper class; if you answer "yes", you will immediately lose Jesus' hearts and damage his image as a prophet. It is forced, even resisted. As soon as Jesus had an idea, he said to them, "Bring me a coin!" and they took it. Jesus said, "Whose is this image and this trumpet?" The spies said, "This is Caesar's." Jesus said: "In this way, give back to Caesar what is Caesar's and give back to God what is God's." On the surface, Jesus' answer was to face the reality at the time, and he did not seem to object to paying taxes to Caesar; More importantly, it means that God's people, God's holy city, Jerusalem, and God's temple should be returned to the public instead of being occupied and ruled by Caesar. Jesus' answer surprised the people present and the spies.Seeing that they had no clue, the spies had no choice but to leave in despair. One plan failed, and the elders of Judah made another plan. Because the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection, they found a problem to ask Jesus. That day, they came to Jesus and said, "Sir, Moses said, "If a man dies and has no children, his brother should marry his wife and have children for his brother.Once upon a time there were seven brothers with us.The first married a wife, died childless, and left his wife to his brother. This is true for the second, third, and up to the seventh. In the end, the woman also died. So, when they all came back to life, which one of the seven should she be the wife of?Because they all married her. " Jesus replied: "You answered wrongly, because you neither understand the Bible nor the power of God. When resurrected, people neither marry nor marry, but are like angels in heaven. The resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you in the scriptures? God said: I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. I tell you, God is not of the dead God, but the God of the living." Jesus quoted from the Pentateuch "The Thorns": "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob" to prove to the Sadducees that the dead will be resurrected. The Pentateuch is quoted because the Sadducees do not recognize the entire Old Testament, but they do recognize the authority of the Pentateuch. If the ancestors were not resurrected after death and ceased to exist, then God would not need to claim to be their God, but only the God of Moses who was alive at the time. But God claims to be the God of the patriarchs who have fallen asleep, because He sees them as living and will raise them up at the end of the day. That's why Jesus said, "God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." Jesus' words silenced the Sadducees, and everyone was amazed at his teaching. When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together to discuss how to deal with him.One of them was a lawyer, who was an authority on the study of Jewish law at that time. He estimated that Jesus of Nazareth, who had not learned from a lawyer, could not answer questions about the law, so he decided to discuss the law. Difficult to give Jesus a hard time, so that he would make a fool of himself in public when he couldn't answer, so as to belittle his reputation among the people. Having made up his mind, the lawyer who thought he had unique research on legal academic issues ran to Jesus and asked, "Sir, which commandment in the law is the greatest?" Jesus said: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your duties. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is also like it, that is, to love your neighbor as yourself. These two commandments are the law and the sum of all the teachings of the prophets." After hearing Jesus' answer, the lawyer nodded and said in agreement: "Sir, you said that there is only one God, which is really true. Indeed, there is no other God besides him. And love him with all your heart and with all your mind. Love him with all your strength. To love your neighbor as yourself is much better than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." Seeing that he answered wisely, Jesus said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." From then on, no one dared to ask Jesus any more. Jesus was teaching people in the temple, and he asked everyone, "How can the scribes say that Christ is the son of David?" David was moved by the Holy Spirit and said, "The Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make you Your enemies are your footstool. How can David be his son, since he himself will call Christ Lord?" The people loved to hear Jesus preach. Therefore, when Jesus was teaching the people, he said to them again: "Beware of the scribes, they walk in long robes, they like people to greet them in the market place; riches, and pretending to pray long prayers, such a person shall receive a more severe punishment." (Matt. 22, 23) Seven Woes to the Pharisees Jesus spoke to the crowd and to his disciples in the synagogue, saying, "The scribes and Pharisees sit on Moses' throne, and obey and do everything they command you; but I tell you, do not imitate their ways because they can talk but not do. They bind their heavy burdens and lay them on other people's shoulders, but they will not lift a finger themselves. They have only an appearance of godliness, and everything they do is that they might be seen; even with outward godliness they concealed their unrighteousness. That is why they made their scriptures wider, and the seams of their garments longer; Greet him in the marketplace, and call them sir. But I tell you, do not call them sir, for there is only one man who is your master, and you are brothers to each other; nor call anyone on the earth father, for there is only one One is your father, even in heaven; and do not call anyone your master, for there is only one man who is your master, and that is Christ. Whoever is greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; whoever humbles himself will be exalted." The Pharisees were very unconvinced when they heard Jesus’ rebuke to them, and wanted to refute them. Before they could open their mouths, Jesus went on to tell them the seven woes. Jesus said, "Woe to you hypocrites, Pharisees! For you shut the gates of the kingdom of heaven right before men, and do not enter in yourselves, nor do you let in those who are about to enter. You devour widows family property, pretending to pray a long prayer, so they will be punished severely.” Jesus pointed out here that the scribes and lawyers monopolized the privilege of studying the law and held the key to true knowledge, but they refused to open the key to knowing Christ. ; into eternal life, into the gates of heaven. Not only do they not go in, but those who want to go in are also blocked by them from the gate of eternal life and the kingdom of heaven. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you go all over the sea and land to seduce people, and when they are converted, you make him twice as much a child of hell as you are." "Woe to you blind guides! You say: Whoever swears by the temple is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple must keep it. You foolish and blind! Is it big? Is it gold? Or is it a temple made of gold? And you say, Whoever swears by the altar is nothing; but whoever swears by the offering on the altar, he must keep it. You Blind people, what is greatness? The gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Therefore I tell you, whoever swears by the altar swears by the altar and by everything that is on it; Whoever swears by the temple swears by the temple and by him who dwells in it; and whoever swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it. "Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe the mint, the anise, the celery, which are more important in the law, justice, mercy, and faithfulness, and you No more. This is more important than what you should do, and that is also unacceptable. You blind guides, you filter out the lemon worms, "swallow the camel upside down. " Here, Jesus pointed out that the Pharisees' attitude of associating obedience of the law with only some trivial matters will inevitably lead to short-sightedness and confusion in major matters and great wrongs; it will inevitably lead to unrighteous situations. Jesus went on to say, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you wash the outside of the cup and plate, but inside are full of extortion and debauchery. You blind Pharisees, you will never I don't know, if you wash the inside of the cup and plate first, the outside will be clean. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all filth. righteousness comes forth, but within it is hypocrisy and lawlessness. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and adorn the tombs of the righteous, saying: If we had been in the time of our fathers, we would not have shed the blood of the prophets with them. This is yourselves proof that you are the descendants of the prophet-killers. Go and fill up the iniquity of your fathers! You snakes, you brood of vipers! How can you escape the punishment of hell? Therefore I send the prophets and the wise men and When the scribes come to you, some of them you will kill and crucify; from the blood of Abel the man until the blood of Zechariah the son of Baragas, whom you killed between the temple and the altar. I tell you the truth, all these crimes will be on your generation gone." Jesus narrated the seven woes of the Pharisees in one breath, which aroused the hatred of the Pharisees and scribes. From then on, they urged Jesus even harder, tempted him to talk more, and snooped in private, with the purpose of catching him. his excuse, that he may be punished for his crime. (Matthew 23) prophecy of coming disaster When Jesus walked out of the temple with his disciples, the disciples were especially thinking about the splendor of the temple. One of the disciples said to Jesus, "Sir, look, what a stone this is, what a temple word." Jesus shook his head and said to them, "Have you seen the majestic temple characters? Let me tell you, there will not be a stone left on a stone here that will not be demolished." Back on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sat facing the temple, overlooking the figure of the temple.Peter, James, John, and Andrew approached him and asked him quietly, "Please tell us, when will these things happen? What will be the sign when all this is about to happen?" It turned out that they Still chewing on Jesus' prophecy that the temple would be destroyed. Jesus said, "Be careful lest anyone deceive you. Many will come in my name and say, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. If you hear wars and sounds of wars, do not be alarmed. These things It must be there, but the end has not yet come. At that time, people will fight against people, and kingdoms will fight against kingdoms, and there will be earthquakes and famines in many places. These are the beginnings of disasters." Speaking of the coming of the disaster, Jesus could not help but encourage the disciples. He said to them: "Be careful, because someone will hand you over to the Sanhedrin, and you will be scourged in the synagogue, and you will stand for my sake. Before princes and kings, testify to him. However, the gospel must first be preached to all peoples. When people take you to hand over your officials, don't think in advance what to say; at that time. Whatever is given to you, you will say , for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. At that time brother will send brother to death, and father his son, and children will rise up against their parents and put them to death. And you will be hated by all because of MY name Evil, but if you endure to the end, you will be saved." Jesus told them, "At that time, you will see the abominable desolator standing where he cannot stand. At that time, whoever is in Judah should flee to the mountains; and whoever is on the house, do not come down, nor Do not go in to get your things from the house, and you who are in the field, do not go back to get your clothes. Woe to those who are pregnant and those who are nursing babies in those days! Pray for the people, that these things do not come in winter, nor on the Sabbath. come, so that the people may escape the misery of being killed and taken captive. In those days there will be tribulations, such as have not been seen since God created things until now, and will never be again. If the Lord had not reduced the The days, of which no flesh will be saved, but the elect of the Lord, have shortened those days. If at that time it is said to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or there is the Christ, believe not .Because false christs and false prophets are about to rise up and show signs and wonders, if possible, to confuse the elect. So be careful. You see, I have told you everything in advance." Jesus predicted the doom of Jerusalem and Judah. (Big 23, 24) The Last Days and the Coming of the Son of Man After Jesus prophesied to the disciples that disasters would come, he told them how the Son of Man would come into the world. Jesus said: "The lightning strikes from the east and shines to the west. The coming of the Son of Man will also be like this. As soon as the plagues of those days are over, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from heaven, and the sky will The potential will shake. "At that time, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the peoples of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man with power and great glory, coming on the clouds of heaven. He will send his angels, and with a trumpet and gathered his chosen people from the four quarters, from the end of the grain to the end of the sky." The disciples asked Jesus to talk about whether there would be signs when the Son of Man came.
